I woke up in the morning and got ready for the day, yawning from having a bit of a struggle to stay awake. I open a portal and stepped out of it with a plate of toast with cream cheese and bell peppers on top, for breakfast.
"Hey, you're up." Tony had walked in, going straight for the coffee pot.
"Yeah." I held the plate up to him. "Breakfast?"
He looks at it and smiles. "You poisoned it?"
"No." I said a bit confused but then it hit me why he asked. "You read my file?"
"Your file, your mother's file, your prison keeper's file." He takes the plate and takes a bite out of it. "I know it all... well, as much as you know."
"And so do I." I tell him. "I read up on everyone and the Tesseract, that things pretty powerful."
"Smart." He says. "I'm going to go back out there, you stay here and enjoy the boringness that is S.H.I.E.L.D."
"Right." I sat down and kicked my feet up onto the table.
"Wait." He turns back and walks over, handing me an earpiece. "You're J. JARVIS is JARVIS. If you want to talk to me then just say 'JARVIS, Stark or Tony.' Whichever you prefer."
"Okay." I put the earpiece in and he nodded, taking another bite.
"This is good."
"I know." I say and watch as he leaves.
I waited a few minutes before pulling out my own device. "IVAA, Helicarrier map."
'Are you sure you want to do this, Amelia?' She asks as I put on my hood. 'May I ask what you are even searching for that you can't just ask Mr. Fury?'
"Fury isn't telling us the full story. I want the full story, mãma would have told me." I say and poke my head out the door, looking down the empty hall. "I'll be quick."

I step out and start walking the halls, avoiding people and teleporting to spots where I wouldn't be seen. I kept looking at the map on my device and hurried to the door.
"Anything?" I ask IVAA.
'I sense something, stored in the back of the room.' She says. 'A crate with your mother's name on it. I assume it's your mother's belongings.'
Why would they have a crate with my mother's name? I asked myself as I looked into the room and then looked around to see no one was around. I teleported into that room and followed IVAA's guide until I made it to a box. I had to pull it out so I used vines and pulled a few boxes off the others.
I pulled out the crate and set it on the table. I made a branch crowbar and popped it open, inside was a suit with a mask and small tanks. I grabbed one of the small tanks and looked at it. This was her suit. I picked up the mask and examined it to see that it was for blocking out smoke and other things.
"Is this all?" I ask IVAA.
'Yes.' She says. 'All that I can find in this room. I detect your disappointment. Are you all right, Amelia?'
"This isn't what I was hoping to find." I said, a bit disappointed.
I closed the box and used a portal to go into the next room. There were briefcases in this room which caught my attention, I used a vine to open it and saw the HYDRA tools, next to that were other weird looking weapons.
"Now what is this?" I asked as I touched the weapons. "This doesn't have just any regular ammo. IVAA, do a full blueprint scan."
She started scanning the gun, announcing the scan was complete and before I could look around anymore, I heard a bang at the door. I jumped and teleported quickly back to a lab and then came back. "Shit."
I glanced over the things and saw it was Captain America trying to come in. I closed it and started running.
"Hey!" I heard him call but teleported away into the hall.
I sigh and stumbled slightly. I catch myself and started running again. I got to the lab to see Stark and Banner so I used an illusion cover as I crept in.
This wasn't what I wanted but it was all I could do at the moment to keep myself safe. I hid behind a counter and ducked down, I was going to open a portal but stopped when Nick walked in.
"What are you doing, Mr. Stark?" Nick asks.
"Uhh, kind of been wondering the same thing about you." Tony answered.
"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract."
"We are." Banner replied. "The model's locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile."
"Yeah, then you get your Cube back. No muss, no fuss." Tony says. "What is Phase 2?"
I peek over the counter to see Steve walk in and place the weapon I had seen earlier, on the table.
"Phase 2 is S.H.I.E.L.D. uses the Cube to make weapons." He answers for Fury. "Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow for me."
"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're making—"
"I'm sorry, Nick!" Tony calls. "What were you lying?" He showed him the screen.
"I was wrong, director." Steve says. "The world hasn't changed a bit."
Then walked im Natasha and Thor. I slowly walked as they spoke, mainly Banner and Natasha but I stopped because someone was in the way in every direction.
"I'd like to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction?" Banner asked.
"Because of him." Nick pointed to Thor.
"Me?" He asked.
"Last year, Earth had a visitor from another planet who had a grudge match that leveled a small town. We learned that not only are we not alone but we are hopelessly, hilariously, outgunned."
"My people want nothing but peace with your planet."
"But you're not the only people out there, are you?" Nick rhetorically asks. "And you're not the only threat. The world's filling up with people who can't be matched," He looked at Tony specifically. "that can't be controlled."
"Like you controlled the cube?"
"Your work with the Tesseract is what drew Loki to it, and his allies. It is a signal to all the realms that the earth is ready for a higher form of war." Thor explained.
"A higher form?" Cap asked.
"You forced our hand. We had to come up with something—"
"A nuclear detergent." Tony cuts Nick off. "Because that always calms everything right down."
"Remind me again how you made your fortune, Stark."
"I'm sure if he still made weapons, Stark would be neck deep—" Steve walks over.
"Wait, wait, hold on." Tony walks around. "How is this now about me?"
"I'm sorry, isn't everything?"
"I thought humans were more evolved than this." Thor says outloud.
"Excuse me, did we come to your planet and blow stuff up?"
Everyone in the room started talking over each other but mainly to someone specific. I rolled my eyes at the thought of all of these people being in a team together, they couldn't even talk without arguing.
I slipped past them and was free to leave which was great but stopped when they all got quiet.
"You speak of control yet you court chaos." Thor says.
"That's his M.O. isn't it?" Banner asks. "I mean, what are we, a team? No, no, no. We're a chemical mixture that makes chaos. We're a time bomb."
"You need to step away." Nick tells him.
"Why shouldn't the guy let off a little steam?" Tony asks as he places a hand on Steve.
I rolled my eyes at him because it was stupid of him to say and it would be completely dangerous.
"You know damn well why!" Steve tells him. "Back off!"
"Oh, I'm starting to want you to make me."
"Yeah." Steve smiled and circled him. "Big Man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?"
"Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist."
"I know guys with none of that worth 10 of you. I've seen the footage. The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on the wire and let the other guy crawl over you." Steve tells him.
"I think I would just cut the wire."
"Always a way out. You know you may not be a threat but you better stop pretending to be a hero." I look at them.
"A Hero? Like you? You're a laboratory experiment, Rogers. Everything special about you came out of a bottle."
It wasn't even directed at me but it did make me feel some type of way. I scoffed to myself and was leaving, ignoring the fact that Steve wanted to fight Tony and Thor laughed at it. Nick told Natasha to take Dr. Banner somewhere and that's when Banner told them that he had tried to kill himself but it didn't work.
I stopped to this and listened, looking back as I saw Banner pick up the scepter and they reached for their guns.
"Dr. Banner, put down the scepter."
A buzzing went off and that's when I decided to leave for good but then the area exploded and I fell, curling up and teleporting back to the room where I found mom's things. I ran from there, running into some guys fully suited up with guns.
I stopped and they came in my direction before I ran again and put a force field up as they started shooting.
"J, do you copy? Amelia, you hear me?"
"I do." I say and teleport into a room. "What's going on out there?"
"Where are you? Are you okay?"
"I'm fine." I nod but I use my vines to wrap them around the men and throw them to another part of the Helicarrier as I run again and bump into someone.
I looked up, ready to attack but stopped and sighed when I saw it was just Tony. "Sorry."
"God." He sighs and pats my shoulders. "Hide, don't go that way or that way."
"So, hide here?" I ask.
"No... This place is a death trap." He steps into his suit. "Look for Agent Coulson? Or Maria Hill, they'll know what to do with you."
I rolled my eyes. "So in the main deck?"
"Yeah and if that's not safe, go to the Stark Tower." He walks out and pats my head. "Got it?"
"Yeah." I nod and look up at him. "You'll be okay."
"Yeah. I'll be there when we're done with this." He says. "If you see a big green guy then run in the opposite direction."
"Got it." He nodded and held out his fist. I fist bumped him and teleported back to the room.
I started running out into the hall and into the main deck ready to call over to Nick but then a grenade exploded and I got blasted back into the wall. He looked at me and I held a thumbs up as he walked against the other wall and told me to use my vines. I was in a bit of pain but nodded. I grew some vines, as some men came in, I hit them towards Fury and he takes them out.
I teleported as I heard the announcement over the intercoms. I avoided the floors they were on and looked around, I looked across the glass to see Thor and Hulk fighting, looking further I saw Agent Coulson making his way to Loki's cell.
I teleport to his side and look at him, he looks down at me, not surprised.
"I'm guessing you aren't going anywhere safe." I say.
"You're an excellent guesser." He tells me and I smile.
The carrier starts tilting and I hold us as we walk towards the detention level. "I have to go."
"Hey, if you get the chance, get me an autograph too." He smiles.
I nod. "Bye."
"Bye."
"Stark." I say as I run away.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"I'm going to the tower." The craft was falling from the sky or something because an engine was out.
"I think that would be for the best."
I teleported back to Stark Tower.
