The following day came around, and Saphira awoke to Optimus's chassis. The two had spent the rest of the previous day taking it slow. While they were having their lunch, Ratchet had come in to check and make sure Optimus was not doing anything strenuous. Of course, he found Optimus sitting on the floor with Saphira on his knee, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. In fact, Saphira practiced the tune to the song she wanted to pay tribute to her mother for Optimus and he thoroughly enjoyed it, and looked forward to Saphira singing the actual song.

After that, Saphira had done some defensive training and Zumba, which she changed the dance moves slightly to move more seductively in front of Optimus. The autobot found himself having a difficult time containing himself and the two almost interfaced again that night, but Saphira ended up falling asleep after they simply made out. She was naked on top of Optimus's chassis right now, his hand was over her body, keeping her nice and warm through the cool night.

She stretched out her limbs and kissed the chassis, hearing a gentle hum in response and she looked up to see Optimus's bright optics. "Morning, Optimus." She smiled at him as she rubbed her eyes as she wakes up. "I had a really good dream..."

Optimus smiled as he listened to her. "What kind of dream?"

"I dreamed...we were laying together...on a dull, cream, sandy beach on a private island, where no one could see us..." Saphira closed her eyes as she thought about the wonderful dream she had through the night. "It wasn't a tropical island, but it wasn't cold either. The breeze was cool, the sand was warm. We had just finished building a sandcastle...one that was about Ratchet's size. I am covered in sand, so you suggest we both go for a swim." Optimus's smile widened as he listened to her dream, it sounded wondered. "You removed my sand covered clothes for me and we went into the water. There was a reef surrounding the island, and we both swam through the water together, looking at the coral, fish and other sea creatures of the reef. And the water was...so calm and relaxing...even some nurse sharks swam by, and kept a close eye on us."

"That sounds very beautiful," Optimus comments as he listened to her. "Perhaps..."

"I am not finished, Optimus," Saphira interrupts gently with a smile. Optimus closed his mouth and hummed gently, letting her go ahead with the dream she wanted to tell him about. "While we swam...three orcas swam beside us. They call out to one another, they danced in the waves and swam around us. And they stayed with us until we returned to the shallows where you carried me out and we sat on the beach until we dried out. And just as the day was ending...you pulled out a picnic basket and blanket, spreading it out underneath a tree, where I ate some food and you had a cube. But as we lay there...we are pulled to each other and interfaced...it was pure bliss."

Optimus hummed again, the rumble in his chest was gentle and he gently lifts her closer to his face to kiss her. "That sounds like a wonderful dream, Saphira. Perhaps it could be something we end up doing...if there is no threat to stop us, of course."

Saphira chuckled softly and kissed Optimus passionately, massaging his cheeks gently. "I would love that...just like you want to take me to a beach to find bioluminescent plankton. I dream of being able to do a lot with you, Optimus. And when we finally become sparkmates...I know we will have amazing experiences."

Optimus huffed gently and looked her in the eye. "Saphira, I view you as my sparkmate, even though we are not yet bonded fully yet." She was curious about that, she already heard Ratchet hinting at that, and she figured there was a reason for that. "I don't want you to think that we are not."

She smiled at him before her expression changed to curiosity. "What do you mean by not yet bonded, anyway? I know Ratchet said the bond has begun partially. I would like to know what he means by that."

Optimus knew she had caught that, he didn't know if she had been waiting to ask Ratchet, or simply wanted to figure it out herself. "I only found out about it when you were recovering Saphira. There is a good reason why you've recovered so quickly." She relaxed her cheek on his cheek as she listened to him, Optimus smiled and rubbed her back gently, tickling her a little which was comforting to Saphira rather than making her laugh. "Ratchet even only discovered it. It turns out that our bond has already started to form."

Saphira looked into his optics curiously and frowned a little. "How is that possible?"

"Ratchet discovered that there is a small spark signature in your system," Optimus explained, smiling as he thought about it. "A spark signature would signify that you and I are bonded, giving us both the ability to feel the other's feelings and hear each other's thoughts, among other benefits. For you, it would seem it would give you regenerative abilities, which I believe is going to benefit you a lot. Plus, it might keep you from getting sick."

She was surprised by that. She didn't know that was in her system, yet, she didn't know how. "But...we haven't bonded yet?"

"No, but you have laid directly on my chassis above my spark chamber and Matrix." She blinked in surprise and glanced down to his chassis curiously while Optimus continued explaining. "Ratchet has theorized the aura of my spark, or even Matrix, has woven into your system unintentionally. As the aura's organic, it makes sense. So, laying on my chassis while we have confessed love to each other or enjoyed each other's caresses, could have caused my body to activate the start of the bond. And it could still be doing it."

Saphira smiled, the very idea they were already partially bonded was actually really good. She giggled and kissed him suddenly, surprising the bot for a second, but he kissed her back passionately in response. "I guess that means we were meant to be sparkmates."

"It would appear to be that way, Saphira." He kissed her cheek gently, his optics softening slightly with desire. He nipped at her neck gently, making her moan and shudder with delight. "And I have no intention of denying our destiny."

"Nor will I." Saphira arched her back and moved tilts her head for him. "I will never get tired of this...nip harder." Optimus hummed gently and was about to comply when the door began to open. "EEEP!"

She slid from Optimus's hand to the side of his body quickly, Optimus flinched and looked at her with wide optics and cupping her with his hand to stop her from falling off. She scrambled to get her clothes that were by Optimus while he glanced at the door to see Ratchet stepping inside, he was unaware of why Saphira had just shrieked.

"Is everything okay?" Ratchet asked with a frown. He expected to see Saphira on Optimus's chassis, but she wasn't, and Optimus's baffled expression was unusual to the medic. "Where's Saphira?"

Optimus glanced down at Saphira as she scrambled to put her clothes on and looked back at Ratchet. "If you would not mind knocking next time, that would be appreciated. Saphira and I were having...a private moment. She's just getting dressed."

Ratchet widened his optics in horror at what he had almost walked into and glanced at Optimus's side when Saphira looked over his stomach with an embarrassed expression. He huffed and placed his hands on his hips. "I did instruct you to not do anything strenuous."

"It was not strenuous, my friend," Optimus responded in a calm manner, lifting Saphira from the side and shifting to sit on the edge of the berth and placing her on his shoulder. "We were simply..." He paused as he processed what correct word to use.

Saphira rolled her eyes and smirked at Ratchet. "We are doing some exploring, that is all we did." The medic looked like he had paled and he pressed his lips together and muttered something to himself. "Um...oh! Can I ask you something?" Ratchet didn't respond as he was still muttering. "Would the sparkmate bond help me understand Bee?" That got both Optimus and Ratchet's attention. "I've noticed that I have somehow been able to understand some words he's saying."

Ratchet realized Optimus must have told Saphira they were partially bonded, though he had not realized this could happen. "Um...it could be doing that. It would be very unusual for you to suddenly understand Bee when you could not before...and since your spark bond is growing, and you're understanding the Cybertronian he's speaking...yes, I would say that is most likely correct."

Saphira smiled when she heard that. "That's great! I would love to be able to understand him. It's frustrating because I want to know what he's saying."

Ratchet nodded before looking at Optimus. "Since I interrupted you both, you should allow Saphira go get changed and you can come with me for a check-up. I want to make sure your systems are recovering fine. And there is no room for negotiation on this."

Optimus smiled and slid off the berth, standing up with an exhale. "I would not go against your word, Ratchet." The medic raised an eyebrow and moved his optics towards Saphira as a gesture. "Except for when it is a matter of the spark."

Ratchet rolled his optics. "Primus help me," He grumbled and turned to walk out of the room. "I had better see you in the med bay in no less than five minutes, Optimus!" They both hear Ratchet stomping down the hallway, which made both of them grin.

"You should build the habit of locking your door," Saphira comments as Optimus walked towards the door. She glanced over at him berth and looked back at him. "And maybe stairs or something so I could climb up and down from the berth."

Optimus smiled as he stepped out into the hallway and turned towards the door of her room. "I had planned on doing something exactly like that. But, until I can do heavy lifting, I will be the one lifting you to and from the berth." He stopped when they hear Bumblebee calling out to them and he turned to see the yellow bot waving at them. "Morning, Bee. I am just dropping Saphira off to her to get something to each and a change into fresh clothes. Ratchet has ordered me to the med bay today." Bee laughed at him and responded to him through his whirs again. "Ratchet almost had the scare of his life, you were almost correct Bee."

Bee looked disappointed for a moment before laughing again. Saphira listened to him, picking up more words than she had before. She could hear him say 'Ratchet', 'Saphira', 'Optimus', 'morning', 'scare' and 'lovebirds'. It was bothersome that she couldn't hear everything, but she heard some of it and she was able to make out a little more of what he was saying. Bee continued speaking and she heard him say 'shower' and she raised an eyebrow as Optimus nodded and the yellow bot walked into his berth room.

"He's going for a shower, hmm?" Saphira said and Optimus glanced at her curiously. "I told you I'm starting to pick up words he is saying. I think our bond has strengthened a little. I almost feel I'm feeling emotions that aren't mine too. They're faint, but I feel it."

Optimus smiled and resumed walking to her room and entering through the doors. "I have noticed that too. It makes my spark warm. Maybe we don't need to do that actual process...but I would like to." Saphira nodded as he lowered her to the ground so she could get changed and have some food. "I'll ask Ratchet if I am fit enough to take you to the place you want to pay tribute to your mother."

Saphira grinned and jumped up and down before kissing him. "I will ask him too. I really, really hope he says yes. I know he might have a few nightmares after this morning, but he did say he won't deny it to me if you're well. It is not strenuous after all."

Optimus nodded in agreement. "And if I must, I can remain in my vehicular mode."

She hoped that would not happen, but if it did, it did. "I'd better let you go. Five minutes go by quickly. Ratchet will have both our heads if you don't go now. He's a worse threat to us than Megatron."

Optimus grinned and shrugged. "If Megatron is still on life support and Arcee had not actually managed to kill him...I suppose I would agree to that. For now, Ratchet is just our biggest threat." He kissed her again before standing and exhaling gently. "If only you were allowed to come with me wearing your pajamas. I don't think it would have been a problem."

"It is if you are Ratchet." Saphira turned and walked towards her bedroom quickly. "I'll have breakfast after your check-up, I'll be changed in a moment. Now you had better go before Ratchet let's everyone know what we were up to this morning."

Optimus chuckled lightly and nodded, understanding that he was needed elsewhere for the moment and left the bedroom to walk to the med bay. Saphira got out of her pajamas quickly and put on a simple black singlet and a skirt before she pulled her hair back into twin ponytails. However, as she looked herself in the mirror, she realized she seemed plain and boring with just black. She needed colour in her life again. She glanced at the items she had purchased to use for her mother's tribute and smiled, hoping that today would go well.

She stepped out of the room and walked down the hallway, only stopping when Bee's door opened suddenly and he startled her. "Oh my..." She placed her hand on her chest and took deep breaths. "Bee, you scared me!" He looked down at her as she caught her breath. "How was your shower?" He didn't respond and she looked up at him and frowned, Bee's optics were narrow and looking at her. "Bee? Are you alright?"

Within Bee's mind, a sinister being looked back at the girl who was worried about the scout. It was amusing to him.

'The little pet is separated from Optimus. He, he, I could crush her now if I wanted to. But...I must return to my body first if I am introduce myself properly to her. I must admit, Optimus has done well. A human such as herself must be a rare find. I don't ever remember seeing green eyes as deep as those, or skin as pale as the moonlight.

Wait...what am I saying?! She's Prime's most precious thing! And yet...why do those eyes intrigue me? Pfft...no matter. When I am free from this prison and back with my body, I will enjoy tearing her apart from Optimus, and spilling her blood in front of Optimus's optics. That will be an enjoyment I have not had in a very long time.'

Bee's optics blink and he shakes his head, rubbing his head in confusion and glancing at Saphira, whirring in surprise when he saw her. She frowned at him. "Are you okay? You seem out of it, Bee. Are you feeling okay after going through with the cortical psychic patch?" He nodded, responding happily and she understood the words 'I am okay' and 'Awesome'. "Okay...well...if you don't, you need to tell Ratchet so he can do a full check on you." Bee nodded, responding that he understood. "Alright...let's head to the med bay."

Saphira had a bad feeling in her gut as she walked away, she heard Bee walking behind her and she felt as though something bad was going to happen. And for some reason, she did not feel safe with Bee behind her. She didn't know why, but that is what she felt and she walked briskly to get to the med bay. Bee didn't seem to question it, and he probably thought she just wanted to get to Optimus quickly. She did, but more so for wanting his protection.

When she arrived in the med bay, Optimus was within the medical cylinder, leaning against the central pillar with clamps around him to prevent him from moving as much. She saw Arcee waiting patiently for the scan to be completed and walked up the stairs to the first level platform. She glanced at Arcee who gave her a sharp look.

Saphira sighed a little and looked at her sadly. "Are you really going to remain upset at us?"

Arcee rolled her optics and frowned at Saphira. "Until you talk to Jack, yes. And maybe even after that since you two seem adamant about staying in this relationship."

Ouch...that hurt...

Saphira looked away from Arcee and walked over to a railing to lean on. "I hope not forever, Arcee. I don't want to lose a friend over this."

Arcee did not respond as she looked at Ratchet. He was performing scans of Optimus's internal system, and making sure he had full use of his body. He had been checking his reaction timing and hearing processer before Saphira and Bee showed up. Saphira noticed Bulkhead wasn't present, and assumed he had gone to pick Miko up. She looked back as Ratchet picked up a large flashlight.

He turned it on and shines it in Optimus's right optic. "Follow the light," He ordered, moving the flashlight to the side and Optimus followed it with his optic. "Good...good...other optic now." He shines the light in the left optic, moving it and Prime again followed the light with his optic. "As long as you continue to not do anything strenuous, Optimus. It appears that your systems have fully recovered from the Cybonic plague."

Ratchet released the clamps around Optimus and Prime stepped forward with a smile, happy to know this about his system's health. "Thanks to your medical expertise, old friend."

Ratchet chuckled softly and gestured to Bee. "It was your scout who braved unknown territory to locate the cure." He glanced at Saphira when he saw her leaning against the railing and listening to them. "And, of course, I shall not forget Saphira's presence in stabilizing your system long enough for me to give you the cure. At least now we know it if we happen to run into the virus again."

Arcee rolled her optics. "Yeah...how is that possible anyway?"

"They are both partially bonded, that is why," Ratchet responded calmly as he walked over to a console to type on. "There are traces of spark signature in her body, which suggests the process has already begun. Which also explains why she healed quicker than she would have normally."

The femme was shocked, her optics widen and glance between Prime and Saphira. Bee whirred loudly, shaking his head and palms, trying to calm things down at the same time. "Primus...this just keeps getting worse..." She rubbed the bridge between her optics and intakes heavily. "And lucky for us Megatron was still alive." Bee whirred at her and she glanced at him with a smirk. "Yeah, I actually said that."

Ratchet pressed his lips together as he knew Arcee was very upset about all of this, however he felt he should speak with her alone on the matter later. As much as he still thought Optimus and Saphira were doing something dangerous, he could no longer disapprove of it. He was happy they were happy, even if he found himself nearly walking into situations that will forever haunt his processors. "What matters..." He glanced at Optimus with a smile. "That you are on the mend, Optimus. While Megatron..."

Bee interrupts Ratchet, whirring and speaking to him. Saphira glanced at him before Arcee spoke. "Bee's right..." She smiled proudly while Saphira noticed Bee's optics changing suddenly and the yellow bot walked away. She watched him curiously, something did not feel right at all. "Did my best to finish Megatron's story. Just couldn't stick around long enough to see how it ended."

"If it ended," Saphira said with a sigh, which Arcee glared at her for the comment. "What? We don't know if it worked, Arcee. He could still be hooked up to life support. You might have made his recovery worse and slower, so...that's still a win." She shrugged a little and looked at Ratchet. "Anyway, is Optimus able to go with me somewhere today?"

Ratchet processed her question for a moment and smiled slightly. "Would it be to pay tribute to your mother?" She nodded, looking away as she suddenly felt nervous and grabbed her arm tightly, the gesture quickly made the medic realize she wasn't lying. He exhaled a little and looked at Optimus. "As long as it remains just a tribute, and no funny business."

"I can promise that is all it will be, Ratchet." Optimus walked around the medic over to Saphira, she looked up with a bittersweet smile. "Do you want to give Ratchet the coordinates, so he is ready when you are ready?"

She nodded. She looked at Ratchet as he took a step forward. She told him the exact coordinates she wanted to go to before she left the med bay to return to her room. She avoided Bumblebee as he still seemed to not be like himself. She didn't know why she had a bad feeling about him, and she didn't like it. But something sinister seemed to be in his optics when they narrow, and she didn't quite understand how or why it happened.

Nonetheless, Saphira got changed into a new dress. A beautiful dress that was a mix of black and blue. The dress had elbow length, lace, dark blue sleeves that blend in with the black top part of the dress. It has a jewel neckline and a small waistband. The length of the dress is knee length with frills on on them, the lower part of the dress is a sea blue colour, the darkens upward of the dress and she wore a silver, diamante belt around the waistline. She slipped on nude leggings and a black pair of short wedge, Mary Jane shoes. She removed the ponytails and pulled her hair back into a half up ponytail, leaving the rest of her hair out and curled the hair she had left out. Finally, she applied dark blue eyeshadow and red lipstick, all of these were things her mother had worn when she was a kid.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled, she was glad she looked like her mother. She really did look like her mother, especially right now. She grabbed out a swirling shell necklace to put on and grabbed out a tea set with orcas on it to prepare tea, not bothering to add anything special to it. Once brewed, she placed the tea set on a tray and an orca incense burner holder, with incense sticks that would release the scent of chamomile and cinnamon. She remembers her mother burning this scent all the time, and she was going to do that today. She finally grabbed her photo and guitar, strapping it to her back so she wouldn't have to carry it.

She walked out holding the tray, glancing around and making sure she didn't run into Bumblebee, as she made her way to the lobby. She was nervous, she tried not to make the tray shake, but it was hard not to. Her heart was beating like it was about to break out of her chest...but she took deep breaths as she walked into the lobby. Optimus was talking to Ratchet while Arcee stood aside with her arms folded and a frown on her face.

Optimus blinked in surprise when his optics caught the sight of his little moon. Ratchet turned his head when he noticed Optimus was distracted and smiled when he saw Saphira. "You look very lovely, Saphira. That suits you."

She smiled shyly as tears fill her eyes. "Let me wait until we get there before I cry, Ratchet."

The medic let out a gentle chuckle. "Alright, I won't keep you."

Optimus walked over to Saphira and dropped down, offering his hand to her. "Do you want me to carry that? That looks a little unsteady in your hands."

Saphira nodded and carefully placed the tray in his palm. "You better not lose this...I don't want today to be ruined."

He stood up carefully, glancing at the tray curiously and looked back down at her. "I promise you that I will not let you down. Ratchet..." He glanced at the bridge as it was activated and smiled. "Let us go." He glanced down as he saw Saphira walk towards the vortex in small steps and smiled. "I am right with you, Saphira."

Saphira didn't look back at him as she walked through the vortex with Optimus behind her. She knew he would be with her the whole time. That did not mean that she didn't feel any less sad. Stepping out of the vortex, she look around as she saw they were on a hill overlooking a large, sheltered bay. There is a wooden pier that extends far over the ocean, it was wide enough for Optimus to walk along.

It was in an area that people did not know about. Saphira knew it, her mother knew it. It could only be reached if someone knew the way, and if they had the right vehicle. Whenever her mother brought her here, they never saw anyone. She was confident no one would see Optimus. They walk down the hill towards the pier and Saphira stopped in front of the pier, memories of her childhood with her mother came back. Tears fill her eyes and she bit her lip for a moment, the wind gently blew around them and it was as if her mother was with her right now.

Optimus watched her silently, he wanted to pick her up and carry her, but he did not. She wanted to do it this way, and he would not stop her. However, this place was beautiful. The waves hit the rocks around them, the gulls sing above them and, it took him by surprise, he spotted black dorsal fins rising from the water in the bay. Saphira smiled and walked ahead of him quickly, she knew these were the whales her mother and her swam with.

When reaching the end of the pier, there were no railings around the platform. Saphira smiled and turned to Optimus. "Can you give me the tray?" He nodded and lowered himself carefully, holding his hand out and she grabbed the tray to sit it on the ground.

She takes a seat, placing the guitar beside her and moving the incense holder. She placed two incense sticks into the holder, which was the spot of the orca and poured herself the tea, added some milk and sugar and did the same with another glass. Optimus did not sit down, he had backed away to give Saphira space and watched her with curiosity.

"Hey mom..." Saphira looked out at the ocean, breathing in the familiar scent she had not smelt in many years. "I'm here..." She let the tears in her eyes finally fall and she just kept talking. "I'm here to see Sasha, Momo and Jasper...the three orcas who always played and swam with us. I haven't seen them since...you could not see them anymore." She held up her mug, looking at the hot liquid within the cup and breathed in deeply. "I am sorry, mom...I haven't come back in so long. I kept wanting to please Ronan...and...he turned out to be evil. I didn't get away from him until it was almost too late..." She sniffled shakily as she took a pause. She looked at the deep, blue water and smiled slightly. "I'm sorry I wasn't there when...when your...h-heart s-s-stopped...I know...it wasn't my fault...but..."

Optimus's optics soften and he walked closer suddenly sitting beside her and placing his hand on her back, rubbing his thumb along her back gently. "I am here, Saphira...take your time..."

She glanced up with a smile and nodded. "Mom..." She looked out at the ocean again. "I want...you to meet Optimus." The commander looked out over the ocean with a smile. "I know you...probably already know...but...I found the one I wished for...and he's amazing. He's not human...and...much older than me." She chuckled a little before sniffling a little. "But...he saved my life, mom...more than once. I know you would have loved him." She swallowed nervously and smiled slightly. "I brought you some tea...like how we used to right here on this pier." She looked at the other mug, sniffling again and swallowing nervously. "At least...I know the ocean is taking care of you...cheers..." She gently tapped her mug against the other and sipped the tea.

The warmth of the liquid relaxed her body, she was able to stare out at the ocean due to that. She heard the sound of a whale spout and looked to the right. She widened her eyes when she saw an orca, one she remembers based on a distinct while, streak mark on the dorsal fin. "Momo!" She placed the mug down and crawled to the edge of the pier, Optimus moved his hand away and watched as the orca's head pokes out of the water. "Hey! Do you remember me?" The orca clicked and whistled gently, moving his head to glance at Optimus and look back at Saphira. "I guess you were just a juvenile...now look at you! You're a big boy now! Where's Sasha and Jasper?" Another orca pokes its head out, spouting hair from its blow hole and Saphira recognized the orca due to a shark bite scar on the face. "Here is Sasha!"

Both orcas click and whistle gently as they look at her. Saphira waited to see if Jasper would show, but the orca did not. "I guess Jasper passed away too, huh? He was about fourty when I saw him last...at least he and mom will be swimming and playing right now." The whales click curious and Saphira extended her hand to rub each of their noses. "You may not remember me, but I remember you. But...can you still twirl?" She gestured with her finger in a circuler motion. Momo squealed loudly and spun around, enthused by the gesture and Saphira clapped her hands. "Yay! You remember!"

Sasha spins next and chirps gently at her. "Well...I am glad you both are here..." Saphira shuffled back and grabbed her guitar. "Because...because I know my mother's voice lives among you in your pod." She felt herself almost sobbing, but she contained herself. "And all in the ocean...and I hope it stays that way." She began to play her guitar, humming softly and smiled as several more orcas arrive, poking their heads out of the water as they listen to the music, and her voice as she began to sing the song she had written for her mother. Optimus watched with love and amazement, seeing these creatures come to Saphira and listen, and the sound of her voice as she sang for her mother.

'Walking my childhood sure, I miss you so,

Mama, my music's yours.

I cry till the water's blue,

Where whales still sing.

Remember when we sang it too.

As the tide goes in, goes out,

I close my eyes and you.

Return to me,

Return to me,

On waves of ocean melody.

No magic can make you reappear,

But in the song of the whales,

You are always here.'

Optimus closed his optics as he listened to the song. It was a bittersweet song, one he will remember for years to come. And he would gladly replay it for Saphira to listen to if she wishes to hear it. It was definitely coming from her heart.

'Mama, you'd be so proud,

The way I shine,

Wish that you could see me now.

On, great creatures of the sea,

Please hold her voice,

For all of eternity.

And like a siren's lullaby,

I know you always will!

Return to me,

Return to me,

On waves of ocean melody.

No magic can make you reappear,

But in the song of the whales,

You are always here.'

Saphira had a smile on her face as she sang. She was trembling and her cheeks were wet with tears, but the whales looking back at her and listening intently brought her a sense of pride and joy. In her heart, it was like her mother was right here, right now, listening to her song.

'Return to me,

Return to me,

On waves of ocean melody.

No magic can make you reappear,

But in the song of the whales,

You are always here.

In the song of the whales,

You are always here.

Always...'

I know it comes from the Winx Club, but I love the song and suits Saphira and her love for both her mother and the ocean well.

Saphira crumbled as she played the last note and stood up to turn and stumble over to Optimus. He smiled at her and picked her up to hold her against him. She sobbed loudly as she huddled into his chassis. She did turn and look at the whales when the orcas whistle, click and squeal before they began swimming away. She smiled as they dive under the water to swim away, they were happy with the song she had sung. But her heart was filled as several of the orcas leap out of the water with their bodies falling to the sides or backwards as they began to play. She sniffled and chuckled softly, almost like they were also honouring her mother.
