A few days pass, Chaeyeon was going home late from school when she suddenly felt hungry. Seeing that there's a convenience store right around the corner, she decided to grab some food on the way. She enters the store, making a ringing noise from the door opening, making an entrance of a new customer known.
She looked around the aisles for a while, looking through the foods available. When she was loooking through the ramen aisle, the door rang again, another customer came in.
Not really feeling like eating ramen, she looked at the next aisle which is the kimbap and other rice meals are placed. She was about to grab a piece of the tuna-mayo flavored triangle kimbap when someone also does the same, causing chaeyeon to accidentally hold the person's hand.
"O-oh... Sor-Wait, Sakura-ssi?", Chaeyeon said as she looked at the person who also attempted to grab some triangle kimbap, slightly shocked to see a familiar face.
"Huh? Do I know you?", Sakura confusedly asked as she looked at the latter. Sakura didn't recognise Chaeyeon as the other times she saw the latter, the girl is always masked up and always had a cap on.
"Its Chaeyeon", Chaeyeon shortly siad with an amused chuckle. She saw how Sakura's eyes subtly widen a bit as she realised who she was and she had to say that the reaction was cute.
"Oh yeah, Chaeyeon-ssi... Sorry I didn't recognise you right away.. Its my first time actually seeing your face without the mask and the cap covering most of it", Sakura said. Chaeyeon only nodded, realising that she what said was indeed true.
"I see... So getting something to eat?", Chaeyeon asked as she looked at the kimbap displayed in front of them. "Yeah... Too lazy to cook dinner actually...", Sakura said with a grin as she grabbed the triangle kimbap the both of them are going through earlier.
"Honestly, same", Chaeyeon replied with a chuckle. She also grabbed a piece of the kimbap and looked around again, this time through the beverages. Sakura followed after grabbing a cup ramen, also scanning the drinks.
Chaeyeon grabbed a banana milk while Sakura grabbed some cola. The two went to the counter and paid for their food. Chaeyeon sat on one of the chairs on the store while Sakura went on the water dispenser to have some hot water for her cup ramen.
Chaeyeon took a bite of her kimbap and sipped through her banana milk. Sakura then came, with her cup noodles filled with hot water. "Can I sit here?", Sakura asked Chaeyeon as she motioned the chair beside her.
"Douzo (Go ahead)", Chaeyeon shortly replied, gesturing her to sit down. "D-Doumo (Thanks)", Sakura muttered before sitting down, flustured at Chaeyeon suddenly speaking her native language.
"Didn't know you can speak Japanese...", Sakura said as she took a bite of her kimbap. "Hmm... I kinda just picked it up...", Chaeyeon said with a shrug, munching on her kimbap.
"Eh? Picked it up? You used to live there?", Sakura curiously asked the latter. "No... We frequently go there for family vacations so its almost a second home for me...", Chaeyeon explained before sipping on her banana milk.
"Ah... I see...", Sakura said, a hint of sadness on her tone, which didn't get unnoticed by Chaeyeon who raised her brow at this tone on Sakura's voice. "Something's wrong?", Chaeyeon worriedly asked, seeing the shift in the latter's mood.
"No... Nothing...", Sakura said, faking a smile. Chaeyeon looked at her suspiciously, not believing the girl. "I'm just envious that you get to go there while I can't...", Sakura said, still keeping her smile.
"Oh, sorry... But why though?", Chaeyeon said as she looked up from her food to shift her gaze to Sakura who's looking at the view outside from the glass walls of the store. "It's kind of complicated...", Sakura trailed off as she shifted her gaze to Chaeyeon.
Chaeyeon felt an uneasy feeling in her stomach when she met Sakura's gaze. She saw something deeper hiding behind her stare. She felt like she wanted to dive deeper into it but she decided to change the topic as to not make Sakura uncomfortable.
"There's not a lot of people around...", Chaeyeon said as she looked through the glass walls, seeing just a couple of people around. "Yeah... It's pretty late in the evening so maybe that's why...", Sakura said with a small smile as she started eating her cup noodles.
Silence engulfed them for a while, just them enjoying their meals while looking outside. This lasted for a few minutes until Sakura decided to break it.
"Hey, Chaeyeon-ssi... I have a question...", Sakura suddenly said, catching the attention of the latter. Chaeyeon hummed in question. "When you find out something about someone's parents and it could possibly be dangerous for them to know... Would you tell that someone what you discovered?", Sakura asked the latter seriously, waiting for her answer.
Chaeyeon hummed for a while, seemingly thinking her answer through before finally uttering it. "Well.... If I have some evidences that prove that it's true and I really think that telling them that would make them aware of it and be more careful then yes, I would tell them... You're just looking after them and it's harder if they just live without knowing the truth... ", Chaeyeon said, even nodding along herself as she answered Sakura's question.
"Ah... I see... Thank you...", Sakura said as she sipped on her cola, enlightened at Chaeyeon's answer. Chaeyeon wanted to asked why Sakura suddenly asked her that but decided not to.
"Well then, see you when I see you", Sakura said with a chuckle before getting up bringing her trash with her. "Bye, Chaeyeon-ssi", she said she she got out of the store, ringing the bell above it. She puts her trash on the bin outside the store and waved to the latter, a small smile forming on her lips as she saw the latter wave back at her.
With a sigh, Sakura walked away from the store and back to her house, Chaeyeon's words repeating on her head. "Maybe I need to look for more evidences... It's still not time to tell her...", Sakura thought to herself, walking through the empty streets with only the streetlights illuminating the way.
Wonyoung was lounging around the living room alone as Rosie was already asleep in her own room, when she heard their doorbell ring. Her brows furrowed as she glanced at their wall clock kust to see that it's already 10 pm. She wondered who would be there so late in the night.
She got out and opened the gate just to see Yujin grinning at her. "What the are you doing here so late in the evening?", Wonyoung asked the older, confused at her sudden appearance in front of her house.
"Its boring over there", Yujin said as she pointed at her house which is just beside Wonyoung's. "Besides, I was also wondering if I can bother you for a while until I get sleepy", Yujin cheekily continued with a grin, her dimples in full display for Wonyoung to see.
"Come in", Wonyoung said with a sigh although her lips said otherwise as she repressed a smile from forming. Wonyoung went ahead and didn't get to see the faltering of Yujin's smile.
Yujin followed Wonyoung inside and sat beside her on the sofa. "So what do you want to do?", Wonyoung asked Yujin as soon as the older sat on the sofa.
"I don't know actually", Yujin grinned. "Well then mind if I suggest something?", Wonyoung asked her to which Yujin nodded at. "How about we study?", Wonyoung suggested with a cheeky smile. Yujin was visibly displeased with the suggestion she heard which caused Wonyoung to laugh.
"I was just kidding, Yujinnie", Wonyoung siad in between laughter. "How about let's watch some movie? Like the good old times?", Wonyoung suggested after recovering from laughter. Yujin brightened up upon hearing the offer and immediately nodded at Wonyoung.
"Let's go", Wonyoung said as she went upstairs to her room, with Yujin following her from behind. Wonyoung smiled as she reminisced those times when they were younger when Yujin would always pester her and they would end up not watching the movie and just joke around.
They both entered the room and because Yujin was already there many times before, she didn't hesitate to sit on Wonyoung's bed, leaning her back on the headboard. Yujin patted the space beside her, motioning Wonyoung to come.
Wonyoung sat beside her and grabbed her laptop that's placed on her desk beside her bed. Opening it she looked through the movies to watch. Wonyoung, having trouble picking a movie, turned to the girl beside her.
"Unnie, what do you want to watch? I can't pick a movie...", Wonyoung said with a pout, looking at the laptop screen displaying the varieties of movies they can watch.
"Hmm... How about Alladin? I heard from Yena-unnie that it's good", Yujin suggested as she looked at Wonyoung. Wonyoung nodded as a reply and started setting up the movie.
After a few seconds of setting it up, she finally started the movie. With the both of them watching the movie, Wonyoung can't help but to feel giddy inside. She's currently in her bed with her crush, both of them sharing a blanket covering them up to their torso.
If her younger self was in here, she would have thought nothing of this and just think that it's just one of those days where Yujin decided to be the overly-energetic puppy that she is and have her spend their time together, but not the current Wonyoung. No. This is something that has changed in her since she realised she has feelings for her bestfriend.
When all this little things that they do before, they do it again, this time her emotions amplified to the thousand degree. Little brushing of their shoulders would make her heart thump like she just ran a mile.
After a while of them watching, Wonyoung is beginning to feel a bit sleepy and slowly leaned her head to rest on the older's shoulder. Yujin didn't seem to mind and even wrapped her arm on Wonyoung without shifting her gaze on the screen, pulling Wonyoung closer to her.
Wonyoung couldn't stay awake anymore as she felt her eyelids get heavy. She closed her eyes and slowly drifted to sleep. Yujin noticed the younger letting out soft snores.
"Aigoo... You didn't even finish the movie", Yujin thought as she turned her head to look at the girl next to her sleeping peacefully, a light chuckle escaping her lips when she saw the latter wrap her arms around her.
Deciding to just continue watching next time, she closed the laptop and gently placed it on the younger's desk. She then gently got Wonyoung to lay down completely on the bed, the arms around her slightly giving her a hard time.
After finally settling Wonyoung, Yujin layed down next to her. As soon as she layed down next to Wonyoung, the younger moved in her sleep and hugged Yujin from the waist, causing the latter to smile softly at the younger's sleeping figure before also wrapping her arm on Wonyoung.
Closing her eyes, Yujin slowly drifted to sleep cuddling with Wonyoung.
"You make me forget everything else aside from you..."

Hello guys^_^ a bit of a late update but still hehe....
There is a lot of things going on isn't? There's comebacks left and right and I'm very excited for it ^_^ also Chaeyeon's debut is finally coming~ I'm so happy she finally gets to release some music^_^
