"Oh! Adorable, baby. Just adorable!" Mrs. Sinclair says as she takes Lucas's picture.
"God. You are such a nerd." Erica says from beside Gabby.
"Shut up."
"No wonder you only hang out with boys and Gabby just pitied you."
"Erica!"
"Just the facts."
"Nerd." Erica mouths to Lucas.
"My God, I love this costume keep it up. Gabrielle gets in so I have a picture of both of you." She tells her, Gabby rushed over and starts to pose beside him.
"Oh my God, you two are just the cutest together."
"Gabby you are too cool for him," Erica says as they continue to pose.
"Erica!"

They were all singing the ghostbusters theme song as they put their bikes on the bike rack.
"Who you gonna call?" Lucas, Dustin, and Mike all say.
"Ghostbusters!" Will says with excitement as he runs over to them.
Gabby put her bike on the bike rack as they all started to chatter with excitement.
"Hey, Spengler!" Mike says.
Gabby rolled her eyes at them as she watched them talk about ghostbusters, she couldn't help but smile at them, they were her boys.
"Hey, Egon!" Lucas says to Will as they chest bump.
"Hey Venkman," Will responds to Lucas.
Mike's smile falls as he looks at Lucas and says, "Whoa, Whoa."
"What?" Lucas asked.
"Why are you Venkman?" Mike asked him.
"Because I'm Venkman," Lucas says in response.
"No, I'm Venkman," Mike says.
"Why can't there be two Venkman's?" Will asked them.
"Because there's only one Venkman in real life. We planned this months ago," Mike tells Lucas in an annoyed voice, "I'm Venkman, Dustin's Stantz, you're Egon," He points at Will. "Gabby is Princess Leia." and then says, "and you're Winston."
"I specifically didn't agree to Winston," Lucas says.
"Yes, you did!" Mike says in response.
"I don't think he did," Gabby says.
"No one wants to be Winston man," Lucas tells Mike.
"What's wrong with Winston?" Mike asked.
"What's wrong with Winston? He joined the team super late, he's not funny, and he's not even a scientist!" Lucas explained.
"He's a doctor," Gabby pointed out of course going ignored by the two.
"Yeah, but he's still cool."
"If he's cool, then you be Winston," Lucas responded to Mike.
"I can't," Mike says.
"Why not?"
"Yeah, Mike why not?" Gabby says with a smirk.
"Because..." Mike stutters.
"B-B Because you're not black?" Lucas says mocking
Mike.
"I didn't say that!"
"You thought it," Lucas says as Dustin looks around noticing people aren't wearing costumes.
"Guys... Guys!" Dustin says but they didn't listen until he yelled, "Guys!" They all look at Dustin.
"Why is no one else wearing costumes?" Dustin asked as they watched people getting out of the bus. Suddenly the bell rang, and they started into the school.
"Crap."
"Say conspiracy!" Gabby says bringing her Polaroid camera to her face.
"Conspiracy!" Dustin says with a smile while the others didn't, just had an annoyed look on their faces.
As they walk through the hall, people laughed and pointed at the ghostbusters but would stop when Gabby glared at them.
"When do people make these decisions?" Dustin asked me.
"Most eighth graders don't dress up," Gabby tells them.
"But everyone dressed up last year," Will commented.
"It's a conspiracy, I'm telling you," Dustin tells them making Gabby laugh.
"Dustin it probably was a school decision," Gabby says but Dustin wasn't paying her any mind.
"Just be cool," Mike says.
"Who you gonna call? The nerds!" says one of the boys in the hallway.
"Watch your fucking mouth," Gabby says snapping at them causing them to rush down the hallway.
"Why didn't you tell us about this Gabby!" Dustin asked Gabby when they got to their lockers.
"When was the last time you saw me in a costume at school?" Gabby asked him.
"Uh, 5th grade," Lucas says rolling his rolling.
"Exactly, and I didn't know they weren't going to dress up," Gabby says with a smile.
Suddenly, Gabby hears the sound of a skateboard. Gabby turned around to look at the girl.
"I wish I could skateboard." Gabby pouted.
"I'll teach you," Lucas says causing Gabby to give him a look of disbelief.
"I have never seen you ride a skateboard in your life, Lucas," Gabby says matter-factly.
"I taught you how to ride a bike didn't I?" Lucas points out.
"Can you two shut up?" Dustin says rudely.
"One you are a creep and two she doesn't like when you guys do that," Gabby says.
"Shut up," Dustin says.
"Shut up," Gabby mocks back.
"We going for this?" Dustin asked Lucas.
"Not right now. We look like morons," Lucas tells Dustin.
Dustin says, "Maybe she likes Ghostbusters?"
"Of course, she likes Ghostbusters, but that's not the point," Lucas tells Dustin, "The point is we're dressed up and she isn't. Gabby, you ask her."
"I didn't bring regular clothes. You?" Dustin asked Lucas.
"No."
"I told you before we take pictures get some extra clothes."
"I got distracted!"
"Oh, but you warn him."
"He didn't listen anyway," Gabby says rolling her eyes.
"Then we have no choice. We gotta do this. It's now or never," Dustin says.
"Right," Lucas says.
"Uh, you guys are weird," Gabby says before walking over to Max.
"Hey, you wanna walk to class?" Gabby asked.
"Yeah, come on." She says before putting her skateboard in her locker and closing it.
"So, your weirdo friends were the only ones to dress up?" Max asked with a laugh.
"Yeah, I tried to warn them, but they don't listen Dustin thinks people are conspiring against him," Gabby says laughing as they walked to class.
"No way!"
"They also want to ask you to go trick or treating with us tonight so I think you should play with them when they ask," Gabby says with a smirk causing Max to mirror hers as they walk into class.

After class, Lucas and Dustin were ready to go and talk to Max they saw her standing there with Gabby laughing. They started to walk up to them.
Dustin started to clear his throat so Max would look at them. When she and Gabby looked up, she gave the boys a weird look.
"Hi, Max. I'm Dustin and this is--"
"Lucas."
"Yeah, I know," Max responded, "The stalkers," Max says causing Gabby to laugh.
Dustin and Lucas chatted for a second before Lucas said, "Uh. no. Actually, we weren't stalking you."
"No, we were just concerned because you know, you're new and all," Dustin started.
"Yeah, for your safety," Lucas says.
"I'm the one that protects y'all," Gabby says causing the two boys to look at her making her surrender.
"There are a lot of bullies here," Dustin explained to Max causing Gabby to shake her head.
"So many bullies, it's crazy."
"Yeah."
"Is that why you're wearing proton packs?" Max asked in an annoyed voice.
"Well, these don't function. But" Dustin tells Max as he grabbed one of his ghost traps, "I do have this handy-dandy little trap here. And look, it even opens and closes. Look, look, look."
The trap door opened, and Dustin says, "Voila!" Max looked even more annoyed after he did that.
"It's cool, right?" Dustin asked. Max gave him a look.
"No? Okay. But, um. So, we were talking last night, and you're new here, so you probably don't have any friends to take you trick-or-treating, and you're scared of bullies, so we were thinking that it would be okay if you come with us."
"I have Gabby and It'd be, okay?" Max says sarcastically.
"Yeah. Our party's a democracy, the majority voted you could come," Dustin says.
"I didn't realize it was such an honor to go trick-or-treating with you," Max says.
"Yeah, I mean we know where to get the full-sized candy bars," Dustin explained to her, "We figured you'd want in."
"That's presumptuous of you," Max says in response. Lucas and Dustin looked at each other after she said that.
"Yeah. Totally. Um, so, um you'll come?" Dustin asked.
"I'll see you later Gabby," Max says rolling her eyes as she closed her locker and started down the hallway.
"We're meeting at the Maple Street cul-de-sac at 7:00. That's 7 on the dot!" Dustin yelled after her.
They stood there for a second before Dustin said, "Presumptuous. That's a good thing, right?"
"Oh my god, Dustin," Gabby says as she grabs Lucas's hand. Lucas rolled his eyes with a sigh at Dustin and the two walk away from him.
"Is it bad?" Dustin yelled after Gabby and Lucas as he run after them. "Lucas, Gabby, is it bad? Lucas? Gabby? Son of a bitch, Lucas. Gabby. Is it bad?"

After school, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Gabby were all biking to Mike's house.
"Really, everyone dressed up last year," Dustin is saying.
"Gabby could have told us she sees the future."
"It's not my fault Mikey that people didn't dress up," Gabby says.
"Hey, guys?" Dustin says loudly.
They turn around on the bikes to see a car driving super fast toward them. They all yell and shout while they start biking even faster.
"Go, go, go, go!" Mike yells.
"Mike, you need to haul ass!" Dustin yells back.
Gabby noticed that Mike wasn't moving fast enough, Gabby jerks her head using her powers to pull him over to the side of the road and causing the car to swerve away from them. As Mike and his bike tumble into the leaves.
"Shit, shit, shit, shit," Dustin repeats over and
over.
They were breathing heavily. Gabby's nose was bleeding as Lucas helps her up.
"Holy shit," Dustin says with realization. "Was that--?"
"Madmax," Lucas and Gabby say as she wiped her nose as they watched the speeding car continue down the street.
"Thanks, Gabby," Mike says to her.
"No problem, Mikey," Gabby says.
"That was awesome by the way Gabby," Dustin adds, grinning at her.

That evening, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Gabby was excitedly talk about anything and everything as we wait for Will to arrive. Gabby was now in her Princess Leia costume.
Finally, Jonathan's car pulls up and they holler at Will, waving enthusiastically.
"Will! Hey!"
"Stop Lucas!" Gabby yells as he keeps hitting her with the pillowcase.
"Back back!" Dustin yells standing in from of her.
Will gets out of the car and joins them. They welcome him joyfully with pats on the back and cheerful greetings.
"Will!"
"Egon!"
"Yeah! You ready for tonight, man?"
.....
"Trick-or-treat!" They all smile as the woman opens the door.
"Oh!" the lady who answers the door exclaims delightedly. "Well, aren't you cute?"
"The little exterminators and the cute little Princess Leia!" the lady continue holding out a bowl of candy to them.
The boys give each other annoyed looks, while Gabby has a smile on her face and then they each take a huge handful of candy.
"If I get another 3 Musketeers, I'm gonna kill myself," Lucas gripes as they walk down the hill.
"What's wrong with 3 Musketeers?" Dustin asks.
"'What's wrong with 3 Musketeers?'" Lucas repeats incredulously.
"No one likes 3 Musketeers," Mike chimes in.
"Yeah, it's just nougat," Will points out.
"Whoa," Dustin says, clearly offended. "'Just nougat?' Just nougat? It is top three for me."
"Top three?" Lucas repeats.
"Top three," Dustin affirms.
"Oh, God, give me a break," Mike groans.
"Seriously, I can just eat a bowl of nougat, straight up," Dustin tells them.
"Ew," Lucas and Gabby groan.
"Someone coming," Gabby muttered to herself.
Suddenly, someone in a Michael Myers costume pops out in front of them, yelling. They brandish a knife in their faces and causing the boys to all scream loudly.
Well, Mike, Dustin, and Will scream.
Gabby keeps a straight face before she bursts out laughing.
Lucas squeals. Loudly.
Then, the person starts laughing and pulls off their mask. Max
"Holy shit!" she laughs. "You should have seen the look on your faces," Max says causing Mike to roll his eyes at her.
"And you?" Max continues, addressing Lucas. "Who screams like that? You sound like a little girl and Gabby you didn't even flinch," she says high fiving her.
She starts to walk away but then stops when she notices they weren't following.
"Hey, you guys coming or not?" she asks. "Oh, I heard we should hit up Loch Nora. That's where the rich people live, right?" She laughs and starts walking away again.
"Wait for me!" Gabby yells as she quickly follows Max.
Lucas and Dustin let out an excited "Yeah!" and run after her, Will close behind.
"Another full size," Dustin babbles as they leave the doorstep of a Loch Nora house. "Like, seriously, rich people are such suckers." He continues on with Max, Gabby, and Lucas.
"Wait. You're not rich, right?" Dustin asked her cautiously.
"No, I live up Old Cherry Road," Max says as she laughs a bit.
"Oh."
"No, it's fine. I mean the streets good for skating."
"Hmm," Dustin says as he takes a bite of his candy bar.
"Not for my bike," Gabby says causing Max to laugh.
"What does that mean?" Lucas asked them.
"When Gabby was giving me a ride home, we hit this big crack and we fell off the bike," Max said as Gabby was laughing.
"We stayed on the ground for two minutes laughing," Gabby adds.
"Yeah, totally tubular," Dustin says causing them to look at him.
"What? Did I say that right?" He asked, "Or is it like tubular." He says causing Gabby to laugh.
"It's like," he starts to imitate a surfer. "Totally tubular."
"No, you're both doing it wrong it's like." She hands Lucas her pillowcase. "Totally tubular, hang loose." As she acted like she was surfing.
"Totally tubular!"
"What a gnarly wave, dude," Lucas says getting on Gabby's face.
"Totally brodacious, bro."
"Stop. My ears are hurting." Max says laughing as Dustin, Gabby, and Lucas continue on as they walk to the next house.
"Hold on Lucas take our picture," Gabby says handing Lucas her Polaroid camera.
"Say Halloween!" Lucas says pointing to the two girls.
"Halloween!" They two say posing together.
"Thanks, Lucas," Gabby says taking the camera from him and fanning the picture.
"Let me see." She hand the picture to Max.
"We look good," Gabby says smiling as they made it to the next house.
"Will," Gabby says stopping she was feeling a panic feeling. She turned around to see that Will wasn't with them.
"Mike," Gabby says as she grabbed his arm.
"What is it, Gabby?" Mike says in an annoyed voice.
"Where's Will." Mike looks around confused and looks at her before running in the opposite direction.
"Will!"
"Will!"
Gabby looked down to see his camera. She grabbed it just as she sees some older kids laughing about a 'Zombie Boy."
"What did you say about my friend?" Gabby says walking towards them.
"Go away kid this doesn't concern you."
"Yeah, now run along." He says shoving her back a bit she wasn't fazed she put both cameras down and her bag of candy before turning back to the teens.
"When it's about my boys it does." She says before kicking one in the nuts and before doing the same to the other than grabbing them both by the collar.
"The next time you mess with him I'll make sure you won't see another day you got that. Nod if you understand." She says darkly they quickly nod.
"Good, have a wonderful Halloween." She says with a sickly-sweet smile as the two run away she picks up everything off the ground and then sees that the camera was recording. "Sorry, Mrs. Byers but they were messing with him and Hi Bob!" She looked up to see Mike running to a house she quickly follows after him.
"Will!" Mike says as he grabs Will's arm.
"Will, what's wrong?" Gabby asks as she gets down beside Mike.
"We couldn't find you. Are you hurt?" Mike asked him in a panicked voice.
"Holy Shit," Dustin says as he comes down the stairs to see them.
"Is he okay?" Lucas asked.
"I don't know," Mike says to them.
"Will!" Gabby says as she shakes his shoulder.
"I'm gonna get you home, okay? I'm gonna get you home. Hold on." Mike says.
Mike grabbed Will and got him off the ground. Dustin ran over as Gabby stand up and says, "All right, take it easy."
"I got him," Mike yells at Dustin.
Mike put his arm over Will's shoulder and Will looked scared.
"Mike?" Gabby says as she hands him the camera.
"Keep trick-or-treating. I'm bored anyway," Mike says to them as he and Will walked away.
"What's wrong with him?" Max asked confused about what just happened.
Lucas, Dustin, and Gabby look at each other nervously.
......
"You think Will is, okay?" Lucas asked as they walked towards his house hand in hand.
"I hope so he didn't look too good he was really scared," Gabby says sadly.
"He's gonna be okay maybe he'll tell us tomorrow." Lucas as they walk into Lucas's house.
"How was the most amazing Halloween?" Lucas's mom asks as she sees them walk in.
"It was so good," Gabby says excitedly as Lucas nods his head.
"Oh, my goodness let me get another picture of you two." She says rushing to get the camera.
"Now pose!" She says excitedly as the two starts to pose with each other.
"Now hold up your pillowcases." The two do with big smiles on their faces.
"Mom, can we go eat our candy now?" Lucas groans as she continues taking pictures.
"Just one more." She takes two more as Gabby keeps posing. "Okay, I'm done only eat a little bit of candy you get nightmares, Lucas."
"Mom!" He yells as they rush to his room.
