Finally the day is here. It was the last day before going on vacation with my best friend Ana. We work together at the Marketing areas for two F1 teams while I work for Alpha Tauri she works for Red Bull, so there are times were we can be at the same meetings because our bosses wanted the four drivers to do challenges or things like that and we happily do all those stuff.
I was thankful for this great job and everything but there was a person ugh... I can't even explain the feelings and I really try everything to be nice and not show my dislike towards him but the way he flirt so effortlessly to every girl in the paddock and thinks it's too cool gets in my nerves.
Pierre: Lucy I'm tired let me go - he said a little angry because I was giving him some instructions for the interview of tomorrow
Lucy: trust me there's no other place that I wanted to be right now but we have to work on your statements. - I write something in my computer- and my name is Lucia no Lucy
Pierre: why I am the only person who can't call you like that? - I look at him after typing in my computer-
Lucy: you're lying. You're not the only one
Pierre: yes I'm the only one, all other drivers call you Lucy, especially Daniel and Carlos -he cross his arms in front his chest - "hi Lucy how are you beautiful" -he imitated daniel's greeting. I laughed at him -
Lucy: he definitely don't sound like that. Okay I think its everything for today, you can go now - i close my computer and start putting away my things when I notice he's still here - didn't you want to leave?
Pierre: it's the first time since you came here that you laugh at something I said - he gets up- it's beautiful...your smile
Lucy: those things will not work with me. I work here and I'm not one of your girls to flirt with - i grab my backpack and go to the door- Good night Gasly - i look at him and I can see he's angry, maybe because I didn't flitch for any word like other girls.
I put my negative thoughts aside and made my way to the hotel. There were certain things that I will not allowed myself, one of them was to have feelings or something like that for the drivers I work with. Especially Pierre because he flirts with every girl in the paddock, all in front of me and he didn't have a good reputation about dating.

The last race was here. I woke up earlier to take a shower, have breakfast quietly and made my way to the circuit. It will be a long day with the race at night. The garage was chaos but in a good way, everyone was happy, dancing, singing while working in the car. Beautiful chaos.
The race was incredible. I watched the fireworks with Ana, it was amazing and beautiful. We were so happy that the day was over. We talked to our bosses and they give us permission to leave in two hours and not stay for the interviews with the drives because we have to take a flight.
After saying goodbye and hugging some of them I made my way to the hospitality to grab my suitcase and in my way back to Ana i crush into Pierre
Lucy: oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention -pierre looks at me and my suitcase with a confused face
Pierre: are you leaving? - i nod - but we leave tomorrow morning
Lucy: no I don't, I have a flight to catch - i didn't know why but I talk again - im officially on vacation - i smile and he does the same
Pierre: well it's great, I'm happy for you, you worked so hard - someone call him and he leaves a heavy breath - okay I have to go. Have a safe flight
Lucy: thank you Pierre - i smile and watch his surprised face - what?
Pierre: Pierre and not Gasly? Are you okay? - i laugh again and start walking away of him. I wave my hand - bye Lucy - he screams and I smile to myself while I bite my lower lip.
After long way to the airport we finally made our way to our seats. We were sitting together with Ana, luckily. When I was going to put on airplane mode, a text message arrives. It was Pierre.
Gasly: have a safe flight and enjoy your vacations, Lucy.
Lucy PR: thank you Pierre. Have a safe flight tomorrow.
Gasly: Pierre. Wow.
Lucy PR: haha byeeeee

With that last message I put my phone down. He easily put a smile on my face, and tough it was hard to admit and didn't want to, he was special. I have to be careful before doing some stupid comments. I look at my friend who was concentrated to some book and look at the window. I just wanted to be happy and luckily I was getting there.
