Chapter 11: Fate

I woke the next morning to his alarm going off. I stretched my body softly against his and he pulled me closer.

"Mmm, Harry, we have to get up." I said, opening my eyes.

"No, we can stay right here, like this." He peeked his eyes at me and I giggled softly.

"We have the meeting with Jeff." I said attempting to sit up but he held me tightly.

"Which is a phone meeting we can take, right here." He reached over and shut off his alarm, turning back and moving his body so he was hovering over me slightly. He searched my eyes before he leaned down and kissed me gently, and I couldn't help when I reached up my arm and pulled him deeper into the kiss. We stayed like this until he broke the kiss, kissing my nose and forehead softly, laying back down.

We laid facing each other quietly, two giant smiles on our faces. He reached over and ran his fingers through my hair causing my eyes to close and feel so relaxed. It was that safe feeling he always brought since the beginning. The natural flow of just being around him.

"I've longed for this moment you know?" He said softly and I opened my eyes to look at him.

"Such a liar Harry Styles." I said softly.

"I'm not. I swear it. The day after I came home from LA, I wished I could have done this. Just comforted you all night."

A small smiled played on my lips, and I reached up for his hand, pulling it toward my lips and kissing his fingers softly, "Well, we have a whole tour for that."

He smiled big, and used the hand I was holding to pull me closer to him. I settled into the crook of his neck and we stayed this way until Jeff called.

"Hi Jeff." Harry said putting phone on speaker.

"Morning, is Christy there too?"

"I am. I'm here."

"Okay perfect, I'll email all of this to you after but let's review! So I have to ask, is your current living situation alright or would you both like space?"

Harry looked at me and smiled, "No it's fine. We have a system and it helps both of us actually be on time."

"Okay. So in Chicago, you'll have a suite at the hotel. Christy there are two rooms so you will have your privacy."

As Jeff said this, Harry moved my face to his and mouthed, "We won't need that room" and I stifled a small laugh, as he leaned down and kissed me gently.

"Sounds perfect Jeff. Uh, any changes to time off, or the tour dates?" I said smiling at Harry.

"Not as of right now, but as a reminder if you need an extra day off at any point just let me know."

"Thank you."

We sat through the rest of the meeting half listening to everything Jeff was saying, half kissing quietly. We answered when he needed a response, and by the time we were done with the phone conversation, I didn't know how we would ever be able to leave this bed.

We arrived at MSG, I did a good job of keeping my distance from Harry. I helped set up his dressing room, fixing his outfit for the night and tried not to sit next to him when possible.

I sat on the stage as he did his laps and Jeff came and sat next to me.

"You know, you are the only assistant I've seen him be himself with. He really trusts you." He said quietly, almost as if in thought.

I bit my lip and turned to look at Jeff, "Like he said earlier, we have a system. It's helped create the trust."

"Mmm, mhm. Well I'm glad." He smiled at me patting my shoulder as he got up, "Want to watch the show again tonight?"

"Sure." I smiled big.

Harry really gave it his all tonight and called Jeff and I out for not dancing during the concert.

"My assistant and manager are back there. Just standing around. Like if my music is so boring. Look at them, boring." He teased and I felt myself turn bright red, Jeff shrugging at the fans causing me to laugh.

When the last song came on, Jeff and I began our walk back. I made it to Harry's dressing room, gathering his things to load it in the car.

"Are you two leaving together or is he leaving separately?" I heard his bodyguard ask.

"Umm, I think together." I knew he had said no more girls, but I didn't feel confident in that, "Can you prep both just incase?"

He nodded and I finished gathering everything and walking out to the car, loading it into one of the cars. I leaned against the outside as I waited for him to finish his goodbyes and come back here.

When he finally came he looked at both cars raising an eyebrow at me, "Going somewhere?"

I looked up at him, "No. I just didn't know, if you had plans."

He leaned and whispered, "My only plans are you. Going home to you."

I bit my lip, looking around making sure Jeff wasn't around, "Okay."

I looked back up at him and smiled softly.

"Come on Christy, get in the car." He said and I nodded, removing myself from the car and opening the door, getting in followed by Harry.

Once we had driven further enough away, he removed his seat belt and scooted over to the middle seat, and leaned in kissing me deeply, his tongue running along my lower lip, and I felt nervous, unsure of what to do, I broke the kiss and bit my lip looking down.

"What's wrong?" He said quietly.

"I've just," I shook my head, my face flushed.

He lifted my chin, "Words Christy."

"I've never, kissed someone. Like that. With tongue." I swallowed. I was a grown ass woman, with zero experience in anything, and suddenly the image of the blonde on top of him flashed across my eyes.

"That's fine. You just, you gotta trust your instincts." He chuckled softly, and leaned in to kiss me, pulling away, "Just like how your lips know to do that, and very well I might add, they'll also know what to do with this."

He leaned in again and kissed me, only this time he moved his tongue along my lower lip, slipping inside and finding my own. He was right, somehow, I knew how to move my tongue against his. How to kiss him in this way and it made me feel like a teenager again, discovering new things, with a boy I was falling for.

The next morning we were at Central Park early. It was our last day off before the final shows. I sat between his legs as we watched the sun slowly start to bring more light to the park and the city. I leaned back against him, taking a deep breath.

"So I have to make sure to buy a magnet to mail out to my dad. He has a fridge full of the ones we've collected through the years, and I promised him one everywhere we went."

"We can do that. Do you think he would like a jersey from the game tonight?" He asked kissing my cheek and wrapping his arms around me.

"Are you kidding me? He's the Yankees number one fan. He would love it." I smiled turning my face towards him.

He kissed me softly, "I'll get him one. You can tell him it's a thank you for lending me his daughter."

I giggled softly and shook my head, "He would tell you it's not lending cause I'm worth a pretty penny."

He chuckled, "You are worth more."

I looked out at the park, and took a deep breath, "If I would of let you upgrade my flight, that night we met, would you have tried to make a move on me?"

He shook his head, "No."

"Oh."

He laughed and kissed my cheek continuously, "But not for the reasons your pretty little head is going to. I just knew your were different. You wouldn't go for it even if I tried."

I looked down and smiled big, "That's true."

"But I would have found a way to get to know you. I can't even begin to tell you how excited I felt when I saw you at the bar, before I knew you were my assistant. It felt like fate."

"I mean, it still kinda was, don't you think?" I said softly.

"True. Somehow, I still got you." I turned to look at him again and smiled, he kissed me.

When we broke the kiss, I looked around as more people started to fill the park, "We should go."

"Okay." He smiled.
