(Your POV)
"Season 7!" I exclaimed. "But... we were in mid season 6!" I continued on with my ranting, some of the others joining in. Xisuma got us to calm down, I stopped yelling, and we accepted it. Then I realized the burn out on my base had just been wasted. I ran away, (slightly crying but no one noticed) to an area to make a base. Eventually, I found a mountain next to a vast jungle.
A few hours later, and the mountain had a massive cave in it. I made sure to use slabs and stairs for more depth, I used walls to make stalagmites and stalactites, I used vines for some life. Over all it looked okay in my opinion. After that, I went over to Xisuma with a question.
U/N: X?
XisumaVoid: Yeah?
U/N: I have a question, can you meet me at spawn?
XisumaVoid: Sure :)
We met, and after a few greetings I said what was on my mind. "So, is there any way to get a mob from one season to another?" I asked. He slowly nodded, a questioning look on his face. "I want my cats back." I explained. He made an 'O' shape with his mouth. "Okay, well. I can go back there, just me though. So I can get your cats. But you'll have to stay behind." I threw a couple diamonds at him. "Deal." He looked impressed. "Diamonds already?" He asked. I nodded. Then, after a few seconds, he vanished, telling me to wait there.
I waited. And waited. After what seemed like decades, he reappeared, holding Pastel and Sapphire. Upon seeing me, the meowed, struggling out of Xisuma's grip. He let them go, and they went straight over to me, nuzzling me all over and rubbing their cheeks against me. With that, I thanked Xisuma multiple times and he left.
I then returned to my mountain with my cats, already planning to get elytra in my head out of the annoyance I felt climbing the mountain. Once I got them settled down and fed, I headed over to my bed, more then ready to take a nap. Most Hermits slept during the day due to Bdubs making there be no night. It was good for no mobs, but bad because, well, no mobs for XP and loot. With that I drifted to sleep.
Y/N was running away from Ren and the red winter, hoping to escape. They were also, in a way, running from their past lives. Their yellow and green life, spent with the now dead parrot hybrid. Scar was also chasing them, he had been responsible for Grian's red life being lost. His first via a hoard of mobs, and second by Ren. Of course, all the player's Y/N had murdered were also haunting them,
Just not physically. But their guilty thoughts made them slow down, legs too tired to run any further. Grian's dead body flashed before their gaze, before a pain came from their chest, and black took over.
Server: U/N was slain by Renthedog.
I jolted awake from the nightmare, sweat running down my face. As I was just finishing recovering, I heard a knock from the entrance of my cave. Quickly preparing myself, I headed over to the main front to greet my new guest. Grian. He stood there with a mischievous grin plastered on his face, clearly having done or seen something. "Hello, welcome to Mount Eden, how may I help you?"
I asked with a phone call voice. "Oh uh, I would like prank assistance." He answered. I raised an eyebrow. "Come with me." He said. "It'll be easier if you see it yourself." We went over to the cliff I had made, and he looked at the sky. He turned to me. "Can I carry-" He was cut off by me jumping off the cliff and landing a bucket clutch. I looked up, seeing his jaw dropped face peering down back at me.
He flew off and landed next to me. "How?" He asked. I shrugged. "I have my ways." He pouted. "Anyways, it'd be easier to fly there anyways, so," He extended his arms out. "May I?" I nodded, walking into his arms. He held onto me and flew up into the air, soon arriving at a hill terrain on the jungle. Inside the hill were a selection of hobbit holes, all looking homey and nice. "So this is my starter base, but,"
We went to another area with a different hobbit hole. "This is Mumbo's starter base." He said. I looked confused. "I don't see the problem here." I stated. "There can only be one!" He yelled, afterwards placing down a sign with his sentence on the build. "What do you want me to do?" I asked. "Prank him!" He exclaimed. I sighed, nodding. "Why not."
A few hours later, I had a full colour pair of drawings. One with a moustached Grian, and one with a non-moustached Mumbo. It would be great. Grian had also modified Mumbo's build to make it look like his face. Once in MumboJumbolio's base, I took out two item frames and placed the two drawings in them side by side. Then I left.
(Mumbo's POV)
After collecting some resources for my item sorter (don't wanna have a chest monster like Grian) I headed back to my hobbit hole to put them into a chest. Once I made it there however, I saw a Grian face and a sign at my bases entrance.
'THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!'
I sighed, shaking my head with a grin. I had seen Grian's base before, and we both had the same idea. Then I walked inside. I saw two (well drawn) pictures on my wall. One of Grian with my moustache, which was nightmare fuel, and one of me without my moustache. I burst out laughing. "Oh no... Why?!" I yelled in between laughs.
Then I noticed the name on the corner of both drawings. "Of course, he got their help. I never knew Y/N's cute drawings could be this scary."
(Your POV)
I needed some quartz for my elytra shop I had planned, so here I was. In the nether, my favourite place! I was using my best, fastest pick axe to mine, wanting to leave as soon as possible. No one got to enjoy the egg, so I needed to make a new one fast. And H/N was also on my mind. I would be sure to get an enderman head on my way out of the end.
I had collected about 200 pieces of quartz when I found a strange mineral. It was kind of dirty, with a lined texture on it and spirals at the top. I picked it up and pulled out my chat device.
U/N: come at spawn everyone I need to show you something
U/N: it's urgent
XisumaVoid: Are you in danger?
U/N: no but it's still important

I smiled and made my way over to spawn. Once I got there there was a few hermits but not many. After a few minutes they piled up until the whole server was there. "So," I began. "I was going to the nether for quartz, when I found this," I showed them the mineral and they all gasped, except for Xisuma. A look of realization crossed his face, before he walked to go next to me.
"That is an ore called ancient debris." He explained. "It is a new creation made by our world. See, we traveled through time, and new things are here now. That includes ancient debris. It can also be used to make a netherite scrap, which can make a netherite ingot. If you combine an ingot with diamond gear, you get netherite gear, which is stronger then diamond." He finished.
Silence took over the crowd, everyone processing the information. "What else is new?" Doc asked. "Well, there's some new species in the nether. Hoglins, rabid pig monsters. Piglins, half human half pig hybrids with crossbows, swords, and sometimes axes for the tough ones. Striders, able to walk on lava and a loyal companion. A whole bunch of new biomes to the nether. Just... wait and see is my advice." Xisuma answered.
We all nodded. Eventually, we all went our separate ways, me going to the nether again. I had two things I needed to do. One: get the rest of the quartz I need. Two: Get a ton of netherite to flex on other players.
As you can see, I had business planned.
After a boring grind for the materials I needed, I put away the quartz, and got out the ancient debris. I made it into a netherite ingot often some puzzling, and it and a diamond helmet on the table next to each other. I watched in pure awe as it turned into a cool looking black helmet. After turning all my gear into netherite (with a few ingots to spare) I went towards Grian's hobbit hole.
I knocked on the front door and waited. After a few seconds, a Grian appeared behind the now open door. He fell back at my armoured appearance, shocked. I started throwing netherite on the ground, bathing in them. Once he recovered from the surprise, he watched in amusement as I rolled in the blackish grey ingots.
I got similar reactions from Scar and Mumbo, each one making a grin on my face as I ran off. Over all I just pranked players and gathered resources for the rest of the day, also gaining three or four elytra (burnout for the win!). All I knew is that I was glad to be back on Hermitcraft.
Even if times have changed.
1607 words! Sorry this took so long, there were some technical difficulties and I couldn't go o onto wattpad for a while. But! That's this chapter done, now I'll just binge watch and binge eat for a few hours. Stay strong and goodbye!
