"Where are we, you guys?"
After the pink beam of light had shot out all over the three of you suddenly you were floating in front of this big tv screen thing. "Oh hello, Puppycat! Nice to see you again Bee! Looks like an intruder... allow me to get rid of them." The tv thing had opened its mouth with flames as it was pulling you closer to it while you kept flapping around "no no NOOOO" screaming while it was trying to drag you into its mouth with Bee protesting in the background till the tv screen had looked at your face more it closed up. "Oh! Aurelie, it's you! You haven't taken a mission in so long! Where's Serien? You two are always together with your missions!" Your eyes widened at what the tv screen was telling you.
"I-I'm not Aurelie that's my mom's name...." Bee and Puppycat were quiet looking over at you, especially Puppycat who had finally put together who you were. Of course, he suspected it at first but he hasn't seen you in years since you were born was the last time he saw you. But your eyes and how much you look like your mother were what made him assume already. The tv pulled you closer and examined you. "Hmm, I see... well mini Aurelie you can join Bee and Puppycat on their temp jobs then" the tv let you go back to your spot next to Bee who looked at you worried. "Whaaat was that temp bot?" Bee had finally spoken up "Their parents used to do temp missions with me, I'm sure she will tell you later but for now the three of you have a decision on your temp jobs."
You tuned out from what was happening trying to figure out how tf the temp bot knew your parents. You didn't recall anything off like that, maybe they hid it from you. "Hold still for uniform assignment... BOOP" You deadpan at temp bot till you realize your clothing was changed along with Bee's clothing. "Aww how cute!" you touched your bows and you feel that they had become longer than how they usually were but your hair was still styled the same. "Oh wow magic pockets!" Bee had exclaimed excitedly which started a line of you and her pulling random stuff out of your pockets till she had pulled out some gum offering it to Puppycat and you which you unwrap and began to chew on while looking into your pocket and pulling out a lollipop. "Haha nice" then the temp bot opened its mouth and the three of you got out of its mouth on a snowy area.
"Whoa! Look at all the music boxes."
You just walked right in and left Puppycat and Bee behind to admire the many music boxes which were there. "This is so cool!" You picked a baby pink one up and spun it till it opened up and let out music showing a figurine of a bear sleeping on a cloud. "Hahaha, cute." You looked over at Bee "I got a music box from my dad, well it does play more than just music I guess." You tilted your head "oh what kind of things does it do?"
Bee was about to respond till Puppycat picked up a music box asking the two of you something you assumed since you don't understand him. He proceeded to toss it and it hit the floor but it echoed on the ground which made you crouch over the spot it hit and tap it. Then the floor tile opened up revealing a music box. Bee had kneeled by you picking it up "hah! A hidden music box!" Then all of the pieces had fallen out from inside the music box. The three of you sat there hearing the distorted music with you cringing at the noise it was making "Yeah that doesn't sound right." Puppycat made some noise at Bee which she had fixed her deadpanned face from hearing "I have never fixed a music box before. Have you Y/N?" You shook your head "Nope never fixed a music box" Bee had then begun placing the pieces inside the music box properly.
"King on his throne. The witch on her broom. The butler and maid in the palace. The princess in the garden. The prince in his crib. And the other princess in her room." After she had finished placing them the tones of the music box were still mangled. While trying to complete it for the next few hours and finally the three of you completed it with the music playing a sad tune.
"The king in heaven. The butler and maid in the stars. The witch in slumber. The princess was lost in the woods and the other princess was lost at sea. The prince left alone."
"This is such a sad lullaby." You nodded "I know, what kind of lullaby is this? Why would someone want it fixed?" You shook your head as the three of you left it there and began to walk out to go finish some other tasks that were absolutely bonkers.
The cherry that tried to eat you guys was frightening till Puppycat managed to make a bubble and you both clung onto him. But the cherry had decided to eat Puppycat's bubble instead making the three of you fall into the whipped cream. While trying to escape it seems like the weird cherry wanted only gum but you threw in a few lollipops from your own pocket which pleased it greatly. As flowers began to bloom all over the jelly-looking planet. Finally, the three of you escaped the whipped cream with Bee biting into a flower and offering you a bite which you chomped on and nearly died choking on as Puppycat pushed the two of you in a hurry for some reason. Then ended up in some cloud world in which you had to defeat a creepy eye but you and Bee felt embarrassed since it was eyeing you guys so intensely.
Until Puppycat pulled out a classic ham on a bone and consumed it making him grow fucking huge for some reason. He then picked you and Bee up clinging onto him as he destroyed the eye from existence and quickly zoomed out of the cloud place. Finally winding up back at Bee's apartment in her living room. While sitting on the couch back in your bikini and Bee in her one piece with money falling around the three of you. Puppycat had begun to collect some money from the pile before handing a stack of cash to you and shoving it at your side with jabs. "Woah hey! Oh, are you giving me this?" Puppycat nodded and continued to shove it at you. "But I thought it was your and Bee's rent mon-" he had stood up and ran to your lap and shoved the money in your mouth. "Just shut up and take the money" your eyes widened "Hey you really can talk!!"
Puppycat just jumped off of your lap not caring and proceeded to try and beat the shit out of the spider that Cardamon hit and got blasted with spider webs at his face while Bee and Cardamon were discussing her rent situation. You had helped him out with the colorful spider which you picked it up with a magazine and placed by Bee's window seal to which it nodded at you gratefully and hopped to a tree. You then helped Puppycat remove the spider web on his face. "I could have brought that peasant down myself" you sighed thankful that only Bee has to deal with Puppycat's nonsense. "No, you can't aha" just as you were about to say something else Cardamon tugged your hand and began to pull you away to stand next to him. While he began to speak to Bee again while holding onto you.
"No thank you, Y/N will help me. Come on Sticky let's go."
Sticky had appeared and kneeled, allowing Cardamon to ride on top of her back. "Wait Cardamon! A moment I need to get dressed really quick!" He looked at you monotone "Yes you do" and he sat on Sticky while you asked Bee for some clothes really quick to which she gave you a pink skirt with a cream-colored sweater that had a pink bunny on the front. "Ahhh thank you Bee I will bring it back to you as soon as I can! Let's go Cardamon! Bye, you two! We will be back soon to fix your toilet!" You waved at Bee and Puppycat as Bee waved back and Sticky was already running slightly ahead of you.
Finally, the three of you were at the bridge with Sticky walking next to you keeping pace. Then you guys finally saw the Ele-stop shop, while looking around at the items you picked up some stuff to make dinner once you get back and you spot Cardamon reaching for a fishing pole you put it in your basket then Sticky comes around the aisle tracking mud which you hope none of the store workers see. "Let go get some groceries for the house Sticky, Y/N is already done shopping! We mustn't waste time. We're on a schedule." Sticky had barked at him and the three of you headed down a snack aisle.
"You know Cardamon I can make-" Just as you were about to finish your sentence he took back the fishing pole and opened it up then used it to grab his favorite gummy snacks and junk food and put it in a stray basket essentially cleaning out the whole aisle and both you and Sticky looked at the aisle in shock. You can't stop him from buying junk food you have tried before but he's too used to it so all you can do is try to make him proper meals when you can since usually he is buying the gummies to feed his mom. The three of you walked to the cash register with your basket and his basket and Sticky carrying a can of chips. The cashier looked amused to see the huge amount of snacks that Cardamon had "That's a lot of gummies, kid." Cardamon looked back at you and Sticky "They're not for me." To which the cashier glared at him "Aren't you too young to be lying?" Aw hell no your not letting him talk to Cardamon like that. "Here is the money, you believe what he tells you, or I will make you."
You gave him a mean look with mad eyebrows as he then looks up at you shrugging and backing off while checking out the items you guys have now purchased. You then carried the slightly heavy bags out while Cardamon and you walk out with Sticky in tow. Arriving back at your house first you have him and Sticky sit down while you made dinner for them. "Here just sit on the couch I will be finished with the food shortly." You leave them in the living room and walk off to put on an apron you finish making dinner and place it on paper plates for him to take home. Once you finished placing it in a bag for him to carry it in you leave it on the dining room table. "There you go Cardamon and Sticky some food for you two and your mom. I will be right back okay I'm going to go clean up really quick." While you had left back to the kitchen he wrote a quick note and left with Sticky out of the house quietly as he headed back home in order to get ready for fixing Bee's toilet and show Sticky around. When you had returned you look around your living room to see where he had gone only to realize he left "Ah that darn kid, ooo a note." You looked down at the contents of the note he had left you
'I left to fix Bee's toilet myself since you were taking too long I can do it by myself since it is my responsibility as a landlord, thank you for the food though"
He had also left a few bags of gummies next to the note which you open and pop one into your mouth annoyed as you put your feet up on the center table. "Wow, he really ditched me... Oh well..." You knew that he trusted you a lot but it often felt like he was pushing you away you can't do anything about that so you let him sadly. Often letting him know to come to you if he ever feels lonely currently he hasn't been letting you in his house you never asked him why though not wanting to make him upset.
Something not known to you, however, was that he had refused to come whenever he was lonely anymore since he feels that he is bothering you and he had begun to make plastic bags for his roommates now which he doesn't want to show you. You sighed squishing and looking down at the gummy in your hand before tossing it into your mouth. It was already late as you changed out of Bee's clothes and washed them to give to her when you see her again. After putting on your own pajamas you lay in bed thinking about how to help out more while slowly drifting off to sleep with two stars shining brightly outside your window.
(Another update hehe I have been writing a lot lately and it's been fun honestly! I gave your parent's names since it will be easier than constantly putting F/N or M/N. I'm still trying to figure out how I should end the story since once I'm done with Lazy in Space there's no telling when we will get another Bee and Puppycat season so I wanted to figure out a way to end it when the time comes.
