So, I was thinking about how some PJO characters don't actually have a backstory. Then I thought of Gabe. What if his parents were abusive? Or just bad people?
We know Gabe likes gambling. What if, in college or high school, Gabe used gambling as a way to avoid what was happening at home? But he became addicted?
And, over the years, he gradually forgets about his trauma but he still was a bad person in general (obvi) so he ends up doing the same thing his parents did??
This is just a theory, I despise Gabe but wrote this anyway
