George quickly looks up at me, "I'm sorry, I should've asked-"
"It's fine george, im over it" I whisper, "you haven't been in a relationship since?" He asks, "no, I haven't" I sigh, "how long ago did she...?" He doesn't finish the sentence, "2 years ago" I say, "why haven't you been in a relationship since?" He asks.
Because I'm scared to fall inlove again.
I'm scared I'll lose the person I love the most, again.
I shrug, "are you sure your over her?" He asks, "I will always love her, but you have to move on eventually" I say, "so your not over her?" He says, "I'm over her" I say, "doesn't sound like it" he goes on, "george-"
"It's ok if your not over her-"
"I'm over her" I say in a more angry tone then get up, pushing george off me, "I'm sorry" he says quietly sitting up, "no, I am" I sigh sitting back down next to him, "I'm just- I'm over her, I'm just scared" I whisper, "of what?" He asks, "losing the person I love again" I whisper staring at the ground, "oh" he whispers, "an the reason why I haven't been in a relationship since is because I can't go through losing someone again, because I barely made it last time, if it happens again I'm going to lose myself too" I whisper.
We're both quiet for a while.
"Well, I know how much your obsessed with me so I'm just gonna let you know I'm pretty broke and would be homeless if I sold this house" he jokes, I laugh, "did you ever have a serious relationship?" I ask, "nope, no one stayed longer then 6 months, that's why I swapped to being a total slut" he says, I laugh again, "you'll find someone" I sigh, "or die a loner" he laughs, I laugh a little too.
"Your too pretty to die alone" I say, he looks at me, "your a idiot" he says, I look down at him, he's smiling, blushing a little, "do you think you'll ever be in a relationship again?" He asks, "maybe" I shrug.
