Finally, the day has arrived. Singhania mansion is all set for the guests to come. All the media channels were called. But no one had any clue regarding what was the celebration and press meet about. But one thing they knew for sure, if it was Singhanias', then there was something really important. Everyone was intrigued to know what does the Chief Minister of Rajasthan have to announce. All the business associates, political associates were sent invites. The press meet was scheduled at 11.
It was 8 in the morning. 3 hrs left for press meet. Akshara was sleeping in her room like a princess she is. Aryan went to her room and shook her gently. She was not the one to sleep this late. But since last few yrs her habits changed. He came out of those thoughts quickly and shook her once again – Akshu, Uto bacha.
Akshara got up giving a broad smile which could just lit the whole world – Good Morning, bhaiyya.
Aryan – Good Morning. Tumari favourite kachori banaya maine. Jaldi utho and come down.
Akshara sat on the table while Aryan came with the dishes in his hands. It was kachori and Poha – Wah, kya baat hai? Aaj apne sab meri favourites banayi?
Aryan smiled – Tumare alava aur kiske liye banaunga mai, Akshu?
Akshara's eyes misted. Her bhaiyya was smiling but she could hear wealth of pain in his voice. It was true. All the life they only had each other for support. But now will not be the case. Her bhaiyya will get to know that soon.
Akshara smiled for him – Sahi hai. Jo bhi banaoge abhi banaoge. Kal biwi aayegi tho mere liye kya hi banaoge? Biwi ke seva karthe karthe thak jayenge aap.
Aryan hit her forehead gently – Us ke liye abhi bahut time hai. Aur ye kya table pe baiti ho? Chair pe baito.
Akshara shook her head – Mai yahi bhaitungi. Aap ko koi problem hai?
Aryan – Mujhe kya problem hogi?
Akshara – Good. Now feed me.
Aryan bowed dramatically – Ji rani sa. Aur koi hukum. Banda hazir hai aapki seva ke liye.
Akshara smiled –Bas itna hi.
Aryan got up from the chair to feed Akshara who happily ate – Acha bhaiyya. Abhi ko kiya na aapne invite?
Aryan smiled mischievously – Haa bhej diya tere lover ko invite maine khud. Aajayega. Itna bhi uske khayalo me mat koya reh. Thoda humpe bhi dyan de.
Akshara hit him. Aryan laughed – Kyu maar rahi hai? Sach hi tho kaha maine.
Akshara – Chup raho aap. Vaise aaj ke menu mein kya hai?
Aryan – Pata nahi. Kyu? Kuch special chahiye tume?
Akshara – Haa. Chicken Biryani must be there. And aloo puri. And daal bhati churma. And...
Aryan smiled while feeding her another spoon – Ye sab Aru ki favourites hai?
Akshara nodded – Anya, Ajay aur Abhi ka bhi.
Aryan – Acha Akshu, how did Abhimanyu take this?
Akshara frowned – Take what?
Aryan – This. Your identity.
Akshara sighed dramatically – He already knew that.
Aryan shocked – Kaise? And why was he silent then? Since when he knew that?...
Akshara – Bhaiyya, Relax. Calm down. Mujhe nahi pata unhe kabse pata hai?
Aryan – You didn't ask him?
Akshara shook her head. Aryan – Why?
Akshara – I trust him.
Aryan sighed. Now it made sense. Abhimanyu cooking dinner for a stranger and letting them stay in his house. He did all that because he knew they were Akshara's family. What else did he knew?
Aryan – Does he know everything about you?
Akshara shook her head – I don't think so. I planned on telling him everything today. Tonight.
Aryan – Good. Partners who share life should not have secrets even if they are painful.
Akshara nodded her head. Its time her Abhi should know everything about her. EVERY DAMN THING!!
Kaustub Kumar and his mother Asha Kumar were surprised about the press meet. They didn't understand what does Aryan had to announce. They are just the parasites who live on Singhania's money.
Asha Singhania Kumar was sister of Karthik Singhania. Well to be precise, selfish step sister she was. She was married to Harish Kumar. It was an arranged marriage. Harish was an honest clerk who used to work under Kartik's father. Kartik's father knew what kind of a woman his daughter was. He didn't want her selfishness and criminal mind to go outside for the world to know. So, he got her married to Harish. Asha hates her father for this and Singhanias too. And she filled that hatred in her son's heart too.
Ever since Harish died, there was no proper income for the family. All that she inherited was lost because of wrong investments and her stupid business ideas. Aryan didn't like her a bit but Akshara being Akshara can't turn away from family. So, looking at Kaustub's qualifications, she offered him job at Singhania groups few years ago. Kaustub showed his skills and was promoted to be acting CEO of Singhania groups whereas Aryan was chairman. Aryan didn't want Kaustub in his company but Akshara didn't relent. He had to give in finally.
So far, Kaustub worked with utmost honesty. Not because he was loyal, it was because he wanted to gain Aryan and Aksharas' trust so that he can get married to Akshara in future and rule the empire. But little did he know that Aryan will never let that happen.
He was still in his dream land and then this announcement of press meet came.
Asha and Kaustub ran to Singhania mansion to know what was the matter.
Birlas were almost ready. Younger Birlas were very much curious to know where they were going to but Abhimanyu just sealed his lip and sat there with an expression of a calm saint.
Arav - Aap bata kyu nahi rahe hai? Hum jaa kaha rahe hai?
Anya was equally impatient - Batayiye na bhaiyya.
Ajay just sat beside them talking nothing. This show was running for more than 30 minutes by now and he knew his bhaiyya would not tell them. He couldn't burst his younger sibling's bubble by saying that. So, he let them take the stress of asking their bhaiyya.
Abhimanyu calmly looked at the watch. It was 10:30. Time to start. He stood and buttoned his coat. He was looking no less than a king, dangerously handsome. He looked at Anya and Arav pointedly. They sighed and got up. This suspense was killing them. And the fact that their brother knew but still chose to say quiet was irritating them to the core.
Ajay smiled looking at their faces. They were looking cute sulking, especially Arav.
He went to Arav and pulled his cheeks - Chehra sudhar apna. Bhaiyya nahi batane wale. He likes to keep the suspense way too much for our liking. And I guess it was bhabhi's plan to keep it a secret.
Anya nodded sinking her bhaiyyu's words - I am sure. yeh bhabhi ki hi plan hogi.
Abhimanyu opened his mouth after a silence of 45 minutes - Ab kusur pusur hogayi ho, tho chale?
Remaining nodded but Arav couldn't stay quiet - Aap ye sab bhabhi ke batane pe kar rahe ho na? Unhone hi kaha na kuch nahi bataye?
Abhimanyu raised his eyebrows intimidating Arav. Arav looked away. That look could scare him even when became 80. Abhimanyu smiled and ruffled his hair pulling him into his embrace - Haa. Your bhabhi wanted to surprise you. She wanted to see the look on your faces when you gets to know the truth. Now come on, smile for her atleast.
Arav smiled widely hugging Abhimanyu. He could do anything for his bhabhi. Few hours of suspense wouldn't kill him. Or so he thought.
Kaustub and Asha wanted to talk to Aryan badly but he was busy over looking the arrangements. Even servants didn't care enough to look at their uninvited guests. Asha and Kaustub still didn't knew that Akshara was back. People other than family were not allowed up stairs and the servants had clear instructions of who were family and who were not. Aryan made it very clear to them. Both mother-son duo sat in the living room impatiently waiting for Aryan to come.
But there was hardly 20 minutes left for the press meet. He was busy making sure that everything is in place. He didn't want anything to go wrong. This was the biggest day in his sister's life. He wanted the best.
Asha saw Aryan going upstairs and called him - Aryan...
Aryan turned around. He cringed looking at his so called Bua ji. If he had his way, they would be no where near them but he couldn't go against his sister - Ji
Asha gave him a sickly sweet smile - What is the press meet about, Beta?
Aryan - You will get to know, Mrs. Kumar. 20 more minutes. Why don't you both make your selves comfortable outside with guests till then? We have a small formal gathering for lunch after the press meet.
Aryan smiled and left upstairs to check if his sister is ready.
Asha fumed at Aryan's way of disrespecting her with the utmost respect. But both of them went out none the less.
Akshara was almost ready. She was excited. Excited to see Birlas' reaction. And excited to introduce Aryan officially to Birlas' as her Brother.
Aryan who just came inside saw his sister standing in front of him all set to face the world. Akshara came forward and hugged him. Aryan hugged back. His eyes slightly misted. That was his sister, whom he raised with his own hands. They lost their parents when he was 10 and Akshara was 9. He had to fill in their parents' place in Akshara's place which he did with out a single word of complaint. Akshara in all senses would be his first child. His daughter.
Aryan wiped his tears before Akshara could see them and pulled her back kissing her forehead - The world is ready for the real Akshara Singhania, Akshu. You already made me proud with all your achievements but this announce will make me happy and content. I know you hate all this attention but..
Akshara cut him off gently - My love for you is more than the hate for all that, bhaiyya. Don't worry. I am comfortable and happy with it.
Aryan smiled and took the kajal pen from the dressing table and put some below her near - Kisi ki nazar na lage meri bachi ko. You are looking beautiful and elegant, Akshu. I am sure Abhimanyu behosh hojayega tumhe dek ke.
Akshara sighed - Use dekh ke mai behosh na hojau bas.
Aryan smiled - I didn't know I will see a day where my sister would be clean bowled by a man.
Akshara - You know you are talking to your sister right? Every brother will be over protective when they get to know that their sister loves someone.
Aryan - And I am not one of them, Akshu. I trust you to take the correct decisions of your life. I am sure Abhimanyu will never ever hurt you because you chose him. He has to be the best. Ab bekar ki baate ho gayi ho tho, chale? It is time.
Akshara nodded her head - Abhi?
Aryan - Aajayega, time pe. It is just 10:55 Akshu. He will be here at sharp 11.
Akshara laughed at his sarcastic comment. It was true. Abhimanyu is not a person to come fast or late. He loves to be sharp on time.
Just as she anticipated, Abhimanyu entered the compound of Singhania Mansion sharp at 11.
