The frantic vibration awoke Vaani from her sleep. She groaned, slapping her palm to her face to block the sunlight creeping through the curtains. Rubbing her eye and began to lift herself up albeit she slumped right back to her spot. Tearing her eyes to the weight suppressing her to arise she couldn't help the corner of her lips quirk up.
Malaya nuzzled between her neck and shoulders softly snoring, illuminating her soft features a bit too flushed than usual. Vaani eyebrows knitted together as she lifted the back of her hand towards Malaya's forehead drawing a sudden shiver as she pursued the closest source of heat.
Did she go too hard on her last night? Sighing Vaani attended to unravel herself to tend the malnourishment in the alpha's complexion. A whine slid through the walls of the bedroom as Vaani stepped through her door descending to the storing medications.
With two pills in one hand and another with a glass of water she placed on the nightstand the alpha gently placed her cold hands on Malaya's flushed cheeks stirred her sleep.
"Peaches..." The tone was soft, comforting even as she placed herself back into her position they first laid. Tugging the piece of hair behind her ear she called again, earning a cute groan slip through the older alpha's lips.
After a few attempts she arose, her pale skin complexion and weak vitality distraught Vaani's humor. Embracing the sickly Malaya into her arms they spend their day with aid. Indifference to the source she arose to that morning.

When Malaya awakened with a feverish nature Vaani was quick to respond with medication stored in her kitchen cabinet. However worry began to appear when it passed a few days and Malaya's symptoms wouldn't alleviate as to Vaani's liking.
She stayed home those few days watching her lover in pain as she tried to regain her once cheerful and caring state. Yet it seems these days it wasn't enough until she called it quits and convinced Malaya to take a visit to the hospital.
"Come on peaches it doesn't look like you're getting any better, how about a visit to the doctors, hm?"
"You're overthinking things, I'll be fine in a day or two, things are usually like this when I get sick." Malaya retorted, while pushing a spoonful of porridge as it was the only thing that seemed to stay down and not out on the toilet seat. It was rough at first. It became overwhelming the first few days, restraining the tears threatening to spill; however on the third day Malaya could careless of her pride and let them travel out her eyes down her cheek.
The older alpha wanted to be strong as this was nothing to her yet this was something she hadn't experienced since she was a child diagnosed with a stomach virus. She hated those days vomiting nonstop and feeling drained of liveliness.
Malaya wanted this to be over suggestively persuading the younger alpha this will pass as her past experience lasted about a week. She was fine; she can pull through this.
On the other hand Vaani thought what an insufferable suggestion her peaches could request on. She knew Malaya was stubborn but couldn't she see this was for her own good health. No way in hell was she going to bypass this when she saw the pain and appearance of the alpha.
Carrying her bridal style she strutted towards her car. With a yelp bypassing the older alpha's mouth she reluctant, "hey Vaani, listen to me, there's no need to do it this way! I've been doing fine really."
Vaani quirked her eyebrows almost forming into one, "throwing up for the past couple of days is fine?"
Malaya subconsciously shrinks, lolling her head to bury into Vaani's neck to prevent her agitation. She was right, she wasn't getting better and she felt like absolute shit. It's for the better.
"Ok, alright let's go."

Arriving at the sleek pristine white hospital they entered the double doors and were quickly attended to their room. It was crazy what a big name can do in public places bypassing the excruciating long process to be attended to, especially for hospitals.
Malaya laid in the surprisingly comfort of the bed anxiously awaiting for the nurses to take her vitals as well as asking her questions. It wasn't till she was a particular one that made her skin crawl.
"Any unprotected sex?"
Malaya's eyes widen a deep flush creeping on her cheeks. What an embarrassment. Though it was necessary she couldn't help the awkwardness she felt in the particular moment.
She traveled her eyes towards Vaani scrutinizing her unbothered features staring deeply in thought. Malaya almost forgotten the fact a hanging question was unanswered creating an unthoughtful answer to slip out.
"No." The older alpha replied burying her head in between her knees.
"Actually yes." Vaani's voice resonated a few minutes after drawing her attention from both nurse and lover. "Uh...it was...um..."
Vaani stumbled across her words also beginning to see the embarrassment creeping her features. What was so embarrassing about sex?
She thought, it wasn't essentially a thing she would be flustered about but somehow this interaction loathed the room.
What is up with these two? The nurse lifted a single eyebrow continuing the questionnaire, "uh okay, we'll take a couple of blood samples and urine samples as the case could possibly be a pregnancy, okay? I'll bring some water for you."
Once the door clicked shut Vaani and Malaya came to complete silence with millions of thoughts invading their heads. Could I possibly be pregnant- when was the- how did- no there's no way-." Before Malaya could finish her internal battle with herself tender hands hugged her cheeks compelling her head up staring deeply into hazel worrisome eyes.
"Hey... if- if you are pregnant we'll work it out together...somehow, okay?" Malaya lips trembled, biting her lips to keep a whimper slipping out and blinking the tears threatening to spill. Could I really be a good mother? Was I even re-...ready...?
"Peaches, you okay?" Vaani's tone radiated an agonizing aura troubling the two. The younger alpha forwarded to lay next to Malaya placing a tight hold on her waist ensuring comfort. Malaya couldn't help bury her head into Vaani's chest breathing in the alluring scent soothing her clam. "Are you sure?" The older alpha spoke after a few silence minutes, "yes I'm a hundred percent sure."

After a few minutes the nurses took a few blood and urine samples they tested and came back with the results. To think none of the alpha's were worried was an understatement they dread for the test results wanting things to go right.
They were a bit unsettled when the nurse suggested a possible pregnancy; it just hadn't been a thought neither alpha thought about. Them starting a family so soon wasn't a part they so greatly fear it was just the position both alpha's were in. Vaani just had a poor relationship with her father, triggering a bad episode just a few days ago that Malaya never wanted to see her lover experience ever again. And Malaya the workaholic that sadly had to miss a few days due to her fatigue restricting her from even lifting herself out of bed.
Either or none were ready for a child to be born into this world not until they had their situation situated.
Greeted by the doctor the both shook hands with the tall alpha welcoming their stay and presenting his name. "Well I don't wanna keep you ladies here too much but congratulations, you're pregnant."
Malaya was stunned, her breath hitched as she subconsciously placed her hand on her stomach whilst Vaani's eyes widened, tightening her grip on Malaya's shoulder.
"I'll refer you to an ob/gyn to help you with this journey and start with the discharge process."
"Alright, thank you." Vaani countered, watching the doctor walk through the door. Vaani sighed how could she let this happen. It seems ever since she met Malaya she couldn't get a grip on herself. The younger alpha was always well protected when she decided to pleasure herself but that night they first connected with each other and protection was thrown out the window.
Vaani gritted her teeth, neither of them were ready, hence she was just starting to have Malaya all to herself but now they have a child on the way. How could this possibly end. Glancing towards Malaya she saw the worried look raise her features. With a hand placed on her stomach and her knitted eyebrows scrunched together Vaani couldn't help but pity her lover.
She can see the stress seep through her aura wanting more than to comfort her; tell her sweet things that frame her flustered face. Oh how much she missed those expressions these couple of days. "We'll go through this together I promise. I'll support you throughout this whole pregnancy and then," Vaani placed her hand on top of Malaya's delicate tender hand, "this bundle of joy will be the light of our world."
She smiled tugging her closer leaving a soft kiss heat her forehead while the long lasting threatening tears spilled.
