Back in the Arc residence
Arthur was pacing the room waiting for his son to come home.
Arthur: why hasn't he come home?
Joan: Arthur, relax...
Arthur: Are you sure his friends didn't come to visit them?
Saphron: i called Blake, Ruby, Nora, and Ren, and they said they didn't meet him whatsoever.
Joan: oh no...
Arthur still paced the room, until he realized something.
Arthur: he couldn't...
His wife looked at him with concern until she knew what he was talking about.
Joan: you don't mean...
Arthur: Saphron, get the girls... we're gonna find your brother.
Back in Ever after high
Jaune was walking the halls of ever after high, he went into a library where he pulled out a book and read about a place called Avalon.
Jaune: Avalon... unknown by many but it is known to be the place of unimaginative powers it is also where the Kings of Camelot go there to attain unmatched power through a test to see if they were worthy to attain the hidden power of Avalon. None have prevailed, for the test marks twelve doors which include; the doors of Truth, Just, Fortitude, Benevolence, Chivalry, Proud, Loyalty, Liberal, Noble, Sacrifice, Honor, and Valor. But tales say there is a thirteenth door that leads to the truth of mankind.
Jaune then turned to a page that showed a picture of a king.
Jaune: the line of the Pendragon, a noble lineage where the true leaders of kingdoms were born. As the line continued, unfortunately, the last known record of the last king; King Arthur Pendragon was lost. The truth of his disappearance claimed to be the Cause of a scandal of his wife, Queen Guinevere said to have an affair with one of his knights. Heartbroken and depressed the king was said to have fought a lot of battles to forget and was badly wounded.
He then looked at King Arthur's picture who then inspected it towards the picture, unknown to him that it was a familiar face.
Jaune: huh...well whoever you are you sure look like a noble person.
He decided to borrow the book. After he had left the library the bell rang which a few students went to their classroom, Milton Grimm was beside him and looked at him.
Milton: do you wish to attend one of their classes?
Jaune looked at the Headmaster and back to the halls.
Jaune: can i?
Milton: of course, see what this school is about. Also, i wish to see what you hold. If i know Ozpin which i do... your world's knowledge could benefit this world.
Jaune then went to one of the classrooms which was Magicology, Along with the Headmaster he went inside the class which alerted the teacher.
Milton: Mr. Rumplestilskin, Mr. Arc wishes to join this class.
Rumplestilskin: alright, i wish to see you in detention when you fail... hehe he...
The little munchkin that looked like a gnome chuckled at jaune who just looked at him weirdly.
Jaune: okay...
Rumplestilskin: you may sit with Ms. Queen.
Jaune looked at where he was pointing, to show the girl he saw in a legacy day, and the one during the food fight.
As i sat down with the girl, she moved away from me a bit.
Jaune: i don't bite. Don't worry.
Raven: i know, but you should not be talking to me.
Jaune: and why not?
Raven: I'm the daughter of the Evil Queen. It should be obvious.
Jaune looked at Raven with confusion.
Jaune: Who?
The class then turned to Jaune after he had said he had not known the Evil Queen.
Raven: wait you don't know who the evil queen is? Don't you know the story of Snow white and the seven dwarves?
Jaune: Never heard of it.
The whole class was then shocked by the Blonde who have not heard of the famous Snow white.
Raven: wait you don't know Snow White.
Rumplestiltskin: MR. ARC! IF YOU ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TALKING TRY TO ANSWER THIS PROBLEM!
The class then got silent, jaune then got up and walked up to the board and looked at the problem. As Rumplestiltskin grins, waiting to punish the boy and put him in detention, Jaune did the unexpected thing.
Jaune: Sir, this problem is redundant.
Rumplestiltskin: Huh?
Jaune: first of all, the chemical compounds are not compatible since Fairy dust and Undine tears will only make the content mushy. Second, the equation is just filled with unnecessary content, you need to remove this... that... all of this... and that... and there. The whole equation is easily understandable and the equivalent to all of this is 2.021
He then dropped the chalk and went back to his seat. Shocked the professor was until the bell rang. Jaune was about to leave the room when a voice called out to him.
???: Mr. Arc!
He turned to the voice and saw a boy running towards him, he had black hair and emerald green eyes, he wore a dashing white polo and black tie with a dark gray vest, and lightish gray pants, and a coat to make him elegant.
???: remarkable answer, the names Magnus... Magnus Wyltt son of Merlin.
Jaune: Merlin...Merlin... where did i hear that name?
Then a flashback of the book he had borrowed, the Name Merlin was written there.
Jaune: the great Sorcerer Merlin?
Magnus: Guess you heard of my father.
Jaune: only read it.
Magnus: want to hang out?
Jaune: sure.
Then the two got out of the classroom and went to the cafeteria for their lunch. As the two got their trays and went to an empty table, they began to eat.
As they were eating, Magnus then asked a question.
Magnus: so how did you get here in Book End?
Jaune: that's the thing... i don't remember, the only thing i know is that i tripped and fell into a well which brought me here to this crazy world.
Magnus: the term we like to use is Mad. but it sounds to me that a well of wonder brought you here.
Jaune: a well of wonder...
Magnus: it originates from Wonderland but was sealed off, but since most of the magic here in Ever After runs on a little of Madness from Wonderland we allow the Well to stay here. But it is said that the well can't stay in one place.
Jaune: meaning it just shifts the position it wants, like the shifting wormhole theory.
Magnus: hmm... yes like that.
Jaune: and why does this have to do with how I got here?
Magnus: well you see, if the well of wonder can generate madness and even magic, maybe a well from your world allows you to travel into our world.
Jaune: but you said the well also gives off magic, but my world never had magic, nor did it even exist... except for the stories.
Magnus: well i tried to research it but the headmaster forbid me to. It's like the man has some grudge against curiosity or even the thought of going off track.
Jaune: why not? isn't that humanity's way of life, destiny is but a goal but how you do it is up to you.
Magnus was impressed by what he had just said.
Magnus: wow, very wise words.
Jaune: my grandfather told me that.
As the two conversed, Raven along with a girl in a flimsy outfit and frilly design came towards the two.
Raven: hey, do you mind if we join you?
Jaune looked at Raven who then just smiled.
Jaune: sure, come join us.
The two then sat together with Jaune and Magnus. Raven sat beside Magnus across from Maddie, who then sat beside jaune.
Maddie: the name's Maddie hatter the daughter of the Mad Hatter.
Jaune: your Mad hatter's daughter?
Maddie: you know my daddy dear?
Jaune: i got a job there since i came to this world.
Raven: that seems like a nice way to do things here?
Maddie: so everyone talking about how you fell from the sky and land yourself here in merry old Ever after high.
Jaune: well i hope there are some good ones.
The trio laughed at his joke, and from the door, a girl with blonde hair, white skin, and rose lips walked up to Raven's table.
???: Raven!
She turned to see Apple white coming right towards them.
Apple: oh hi apple.
Apple: hey roomie... oh and hi there.
Jaune looked at her with nothing but skepticism towards her, he then leaned toward Magnus.
Jaune: who is she?
Magnus: apple white, daughter of snow white.
Jaune: (Expressionless) oh...
Apple: i wish to say this on behalf of the school, welcome to Ever after high.
Jaune: yeah I'm not staying.
Apple was then surprised by his remark.
Apple: I'm sorry...
Jaune: I'm not staying, I'm just here for the time being until i can figure out how to get back home.
Apple: well i could maybe give you a tour-
Jaune: no need.
He stood up and went out, walking right past her. Leaving her amazed at how Jaune ignored her. As he left, the whole room saw the thing and was astonished to give the popular girl in school the cold shoulder. He went to the massive courtyard, he then walked to a tree and lay down on the bark. He then began to sleep right under the cool breeze and singing birds.
???: snore*
Jaune awoke at the sound and he found a girl sleeping on the other side of the tree. He snapped his fingers and she woke up.
???: oh I'm sorry did my snoring bother you?
Jaune: well yeah, but it seems we have the same idea of sleeping under the tree.
???: yeah seems like that.
Jaune: Jaune Arc...
???: Briar Beauty, Daughter of Sleeping Beauty. I know you you're the guy-
Jaune: who fell into this world yeah.
Briar: wow, never knew i could meet someone who fell from the sky.
Jaune: well if i fell from i would've been an Angel who fell and was wounded.
The bell rang signaling the next period.
Jaune: aw man... well guess we should head back inside.
He stood up and looked towards Briar, offering her his hand.
Jaune: need help?
Briar was caught off guard as she saw jaune smiling at her. Her heart beat so fast as she blushed. As she took his hand jaune lifted her making her close to him.
Jaune: we'll see you around, Briar.
As he walked away, Briar pulled her hands close to her chest as she blushed red.
Briar: my heart is beating so fast... he's so gentle.
Next day jaune pov
I was starting my work in the mad hatter tea shop and haberdashery. I had to wear a butler uniform which worked well for me, I served drinks and sweets to the customers. Most of the time it was just ladies who came to the shop just to goad at me and watch me work, at least it got me so many tips from them, as I was cleaning up a table Mr. Hatter called me.
Mad hatter: jaune boy.
Jaune: yes sir?
Mad hatter: can you work in the kitchen for a while the chef called in sick and I need to have sweets in a few minutes.
Jaune: I can cook. And don't worry sir I'm an excellent cook.
Mad hatter: Jolly good my boy.
He then opened a teapot and jumped inside going to another place.
Jaune: I still don't understand how he does that.
I went to the kitchen where I thought of what to make, but then the sound of the bell rang and I went for the counter.
Jaune: hello welcome to the mad hatter tea shop how can I help you...
And I saw it was Apple white standing by the counter.
Apple: hi I know we got off the wrong foot but I wanted to meet you.
Jaune: okay...
Apple: let's start with an introduction, I'm Apple white.
Jaune: Jaune Arc. Now are you here to order?
Apple: well I was here to meet you but I can order.
Jaune: what will it be?
Apple: how about you surprise me?
Jaune: a challenge... I accept.
I then asked her to sit and wait while I make something. I went to the kitchen and thought about what to make, i thought i would make an apple pie but it was to cliche. But i remembered my Nana Marie's recipe, "Apple crisp with muesli and oats bits, cinnamon sugar drizzle with a domed candy floss" and i could make my signature Apple Mint tea.
I then worked on it, I cut the apples into wedges, and dehydrated half to get them into a nice soft but wrinkled texture. I used oats, and muesli to make bits that would combine with the apple, i then made the cinnamon sugar drizzle by boiling water and sugar with a cinnamon bark in it and a little bit of salt to balance the sweetness. I then made the candy floss, and learned it from a local candy floss maker back home.
As i finished making the tea, I plated it into an elegant design inside the bowl. I then delivered it to Apple who was surprised to see the food looking nice.
Apple: why thank you.
Jaune: you're welcome, here we have an Apple Crisp with oats and muesli, drizzled with cinnamon sugar syrup, under a domed candy floss. And here is an Apple Mint tea, just to wash it down... oh, and something to enchant you.
I grabbed a pin and dipped it into the water, I then pricked it on the dome which then melted away dropping on the apple.
Jaune: enjoy~
As i walked away she called out to me.
Apple: wait.
I turned to her.
Apple: do you want to talk?
I was still busy with work, but i had a few minutes before my break.
Jaune: i have a break in a few minutes after my shift, i can talk.
I then went back to the kitchen, i turned back and saw her eating the food joyfully.
Jaune: Nana... hope you're proud of me...
After my shift, i went out to the plaza with Apple who did ask me if we could hang out and talk, so i did.
We then went out to the streets passing by a few shops and places, she then started to speak.
Apple: so where do you live?
Jaune: Well I'm from Vale close to the Vacuo border which is in between the two, so we don't know where i was originated.
Apple: what is it like in your homeworld?
Jaune: compared to this? Well... just normal. We do have a shattered moon, so that's kinda new for you guys.
Apple: you have a shattered moon?
Jaune: freaky when you see it but to me, it's something so beautiful.
Apple: what about the school, I'm sure you study.
Jaune: (sheepish) yeah... i did... once, but i was kicked out.
Apple: oh why?
Jaune: it's not something i wanna talk about. But what about you? What's up with the whole destiny shebang this place is talking about?
Apple:(joyful) oh you want to talk about it?! Well, you know about my mom, who is the queen of this land and I have her destiny.
I looked at her confused and still lost about this whole destiny Mumbo Jumbo nonsense. But i just gave her the benefit of telling me, since my parents told me to be nice around women, especially if she's a princess.
Apple: so my mother's story is about how she eats a poisoned apple from the evil Queen, and i fall asleep until my prince charming wakes me up with a kiss and i become queen and live my happily ever after... isn't that wonderful?
Jaune: in your point of view.
She looked at me confused.
Apple: what do you mean?
Jaune: well for one, you have all of this attention and it revolves around you making you the person who gets everything... but what about raven?
Apple: huh?
Jaune: raven is but a girl who just straight up kills you, but to her thought being pinned as the bad person from the day you are born makes them isolated from the whole system. I know I'm just new to this but I think you should think about it.
As i walked ahead, i turned back to her.
Jaune: my father once said, the title isn't what makes you, you... it's the things you do that define who you are.
You see, back in my home world, I wanted to be a hero, a knight someone who can live up to the family name. But I was but a weak and helpless boy, my father's stories of knights and heroes and adventurers going around the world make me want to believe that i can do the same thing. But as i enrolled in Beacon academy i was shunned and isolated like Raven.
I saw Apple who was feeling down, but as she was about to speak, an alarm rang from afar.
I saw a group of men on a nearly damaged carriage with stolen money as they brought a fresh load from a bank.
Jaune: what the?
Apple: it's the Black Crown Gang, they're just a bunch of robbers... oh they're just so mean.
I saw when they were taking the loot, the authorities tried to apprehend them but they clobbered them back.
I grabbed my scroll and had my custom-made weapon locker come to me. I pressed the button which activated the system, it was then the faint sound of thrusters was coming right behind me then landed right beside me.
Apple was Surprised by the locker falling from the sky. I then opened it and grabbed my holster and weapons, i then walked right towards them until apple stopped me.
Apple: they're too many you can't beat them.
Jaune: someone has to help them, and i suggest you stay back.
As i went back to the group, my heart was beating since i haven't been trained to fight.
Jaune: HEY!
The group turned to me and they sneered.
Thug 1: well lookee here... some boy playing hero.
Jaune: that money belongs to the people.
Thug 2: well these goods are now ours unless you wanna take them back... *Snap* ... talk to my associates.
Then a few thugs came out with their weapons. I looked around and counted them.
Jaune: let's see... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, ... 9 of you guys and one of me...
Thug 1: scared?
Jaune: well I've been scared once, but i don't think you guys are any good with those weapons of yours.
Thug 3: what you say?!
Then one of them rushed towards me, i looked towards him and pulled my Crocea Mors to me and activated the shield, and used the impact distribution to make him fly back.
They all looked surprised by what happened, and i looked at them with dead-set eyes.
Jaune: what you all just witnessed is my Weapon; Crocea Mors 2.0, my shield has an impact distribution mechanism that allows the impact to send that bozo flying, it's like hitting a super bouncy jello which makes you fly when you hit it. But that's not all that this baby can do.
Then i pulled the sword out and shifted it into a spear.
Jaune:(killer tone) would like to find out?
Then the group charged at me with their weapons at hand, i let them come to me, but how they were fighting was so weak and elementary. One tried to do a jump attack, but i dodged away and used my shield to knock him out. Another tried to hit me from behind but i used my spear to block it and kicked him away, two delivered a series of attacks with their swords, but i parried and blocked them, i then did a shield bash at them which made one fly and kick back a few of them. Then big guy with a club came walking right up to me, i then reverted my spear to sword mode, and sheathed my blade.
Big Thug: hehe... giving up?
Jaune: nope, just warming up!
I then transformed my Crocea Mors into a longsword mode.
The thug then did a downward attack, but i then did an overhead block which stopped it but the weight almost made me fall. As i held back the weight, i felt a surge of power within me. As i pushed myself to parry it, my whole body started to glow.
Big Thug: huh?
Jaune: nghhhhh... HAH!
I parried the club away from me and a kinetic force pushed the big guy back to his bottom. As i stood up i noticed my body glowing, it was the aura that covered me and gave me strength. And there i knew i had awoken my semblance.
Jaune: my semblance... it's aura amplification.
Big thug: well i don't know what you did but you are going to pay.
As he grabbed his club and charge toward me, i then began to think about my semblance.
Jaune: if my semblance can amplify my aura, can it amplify my speed and strength? Let's find out.
As the big guy came towards me, i then transferred my semblance to my legs which glowed, i then place a bit of aura on my hands to support my sword which then covered my sword.
As he came towards me, i then waited for an opening. When the big guys came, he then lifted back his club and left an opening, i then took this opportunity and dashed in a flash.
SLASH!
I was then on the other side, with the big guy right behind me. I then deactivated my weapon and sheathed it on my waist.
Big Guy: he's too fast...
He then dropped to the ground knocked out, and with his club cut into two pieces.
I then looked back to the carriage with a load of loot, as the one thug who saw the whole thing, he then tried to get the reins, but i then pulled my gun and shit the carriage.
BANG!
The thug jumped and fell right off the vehicle, i then walked right up to him with my gun at hand and i pointed at him.
Jaune: Freeze! Don't move!
Thug: okay! okay! Okay!
He said, on the ground with his hands up. I flipped him over and grabbed a rope and tied his legs and hands, along with the other thugs.
As the authorities came, they were all surprised to see me apprehend the thugs.
Jaune: take them away officers.
Officers: woah...
As they began to bring the thugs away, a whole crowd then applauded me for seeing a remarkable fight and saw me take down a whole Gang of robbers.
