Madelynn's POV
The man stood staring at me. I was still confused by the previous situation. The man with the metal arm used that opportunity to tackle me to the ground.
The other instructed Tin Man to take the president to 'Nat'. Metal arm repeatedly punched me in the face as to knock me out, while blue suit and Tin Man fled through the window with the president.
Getting pissed I grab metal arm by the neck and punched him with all my remaining strength in the face. Once he stumbled back up, I swept his leg and got up once his body fell to the ground.
I wiped the blood running from my nose as I panted watching the fallen man.
Bucky's POV
I laid on the tile floor and winced from the pain going through my head. I had to hand it to her, she was strong. Stronger than anyone I fought.
She stumbled on her feet and glared at me. "I'm wasting enough time." She grumbled checking her watch. I got up ready to fight her again. She pulled out her pistol and shot one of the sprinklers.
Water started spraying out above us. Not seeing the point of her action I advanced to her ,but a wall of water formed around me, squeezing tightly.
I stared at her to see that she held her hand outwards and was squeezing as if she was holding me. Then it hit me, she was manipulating it all.
Her grip was getting tighter and tighter, putting me on the verge of death. The elevator doors soon opened and a woman's voice was heard. I wasn't able to catch what she was saying but my eyes widen when I saw the assassin's hand on her pistol.
The assassin lost focus of me and the water around me fell with a splash along with me onto the floor.
I gasped for air and before I could've made it in time to save the woman, the trigger was pulled and the bullet went through the woman's skull.
The only sounds heard were the screams of the little girl with her and the sound of a thud onto the floor.
The assasin's face remained emotionless as the gun shifted to the girl who was frantically shaking the woman's body. Luckily I was able to grab the child and ran into the elevator.
As the doors closed, several shots were fired before the assassin lowered her gun and lept through the window heading for Steve and Tony.
The little girl sobbed profusely as I panted and tried to get Steve through the intercoms. "Bucky?" He questioned. "Get.." I panted "The president far from here. She's. Coming. And stro-. Stronger than before." I said between pants.
"What about you?" "Steve just go ok. I'll make it back."
"Ok."
Madelynn's POV
I had been free falling off the 50 story building for a while. Once I was 10 stories above the concrete bridge, I sprouted dragon wings made of water and swiftly glifed before I landed on the bridge.
I scanned the bridge to see a few armored vehicles heading my direction before the came to a halt. Several HYDRA agents came as back up.
Some SHIELD agents came out of the vehicle and fired shots in my direction. The HYDRA agents placed a barrier infront of themselves while I formed my hands into an 'x' infront of my body and used my wings to protect me, collecting the bullets in the process.
Bullets of many kinds were fired at us either bouncing off or being collected by my wings. Once it ended I parted my arms, spreading my wings.
I turned the bullets around and pulled my index finger back before quickly pushing it forward releasing all the bullets onto the agents and armored vehicles.
The bullets penetrated the vehicles and killing off most of the agents off and destroying the vehicles. The HYDRA agents began to fire at the remaining agents.
I retracted my wings and turned the water into two orbs that shot bullets and were placed on either sides of my head. One arm over my injured stomach and the other controlling the orbs.
Agents ran to me with their own weapons. Changing from shield to orb was exhausting on my part but it paid off as agent after agent fell.
I felt almost drained from changing and changing. There was only one vehicle stopping me from my mission. Persons were about to come out so I threw a grenade in before launching the vehicle to the side which exploded shortly after.
I blasted the roof off of the vehicle and stepped on its bonnet to inspect it for the men but instead was face to face with a bomb due 3 seconds.
As a last resort of protection I formed a ball around the bomb. When it exploded I was flung back from its impact and soon fainted from slamming into a hard object.
