Kartik's family:
Manish and Suwarna Goenka:Kartik's parents.Here in this story,Suwarna is his real mother not the step one.
Keerti Khanna:the only sister of Kartik,happily married to Rithik Khanna.
Suhasni Goenka:his Dadi who lives in US with his younger son nd rarely stays in India with her elder son nd his family.
Surekha and Akhilesh are his chachu chachu who live in US with their only son Luv who was only two years younger than Kartik.He and his father handles the Goenkas' other branches in US.
I will introduce Naira's family in the story itself.

A guy was sitting on a desk chair in a collosal office.The bright light was peeping in the office through the large glass windows.His eyes were focused on the screen of laptop that was placed on the white modern solid surface table.When suddenly another person came inside knocking the door.He moved his attention towards him who just entered his office a few seconds before.
"Sir!Mr Singhania was requesting to proceed meeting at his house as he is too ill to conduct the meeting in his office.He was waiting for ur response.What should I inform him then?"
1st person:Aarush! Inform him that we are coming to his place in evening.I don't want to delay this meeting anymore.
So guys the first person is none other than Kartik Goenka.And Aarush is his trusted PA.He straight went out of the office to call Mr Singhania,listening the order of his boss.
Evening,6 PM:
Singhania's house:
Kartik arrived at Mr singhania's house with all his majesty.His PA accompanied him.Whereas Mr Naitik was also in the study with two of his office employees.They started the meeting after some professional greetings.Kartik was telling the pros and cons of the deal on the big screen confidently.He gave the brilliant presentation with superb energy that the people presented there were impressed with his business skills.At last,Mr Naitik appreciated the young blood and signed the deal saying"Young boy!It will be our pleasure to work with you."
They were going to work on the construction of a hotel.Both the leading construction companies of India were going to work together on a big project and it will surely be the next hot news in the business world.
After 2 hours' long meeting,they all settled themselves on dinning.They were having the cuisine peacefully when Naira Singhania entered the hall nd started going upstairs.Suddenly her dad,Naitik saw her and stopped her midway.She moved back,making faces.
Naitik:Naira!Where are you coming from? Anyways sit with us and eat something.
Naira:Thanks for your concern.But I am not in a mood to eat anything.
Naitik somehow felt insulted by her word "concern" which he
knew,she used to mock him.
Sushma(Naitik's second wife):Let her go Naitik!Abhi us ka mood nhi ho ga.
Naira:Excuse me!who are you to interrupt our conversation?It's better for you to mind your own business Mrs Singhania!
Naitik (furiously):Behave yourself Naira!Now you are crossing ur limits.
Naira:This is all because of your wife.She do compel me to cross my limits.Ask her to not utter a single word in my affairs.Damn it will be a great favour from your side.Saying this she went upstairs.Whenever Sushma said anything,it somehow triggered her soo badly.She just didn't like her presence and her interference,in short she didn't like her thoroughly.And well she also interrupted their conversation as she very well knew that Naira didn't like this at all.
Naitik was sitting on the chair in full rage.And his anger was justified somehow as his daughter insulted him in front of his guests,his business partner,his employees.But swear! she never gave a damn speaking anything infront anyone.All these things typically had a zero effect on her.
And well at that moment,Kartik was shamelessly gazing Naira.To be honest,if there were any other girl than Naira at that place,he would surely loath her,talking to his dad in that rough tone.But he didn't know, why he didn't detest her.He was even attracted towards her.In those 2 minutes only,he scanned her from top to bottom.He saw some strange emotions in her eyes.
She looked upset,anguish, insecured.....wait ...insecured...insecured of what?He himself didn't know.On the top,why the hell he was thinking about her.He had many other things to concentrate on than a girl,an impudent girl!infront the whole world.
Naitik knew kartik's family for a long time.He even worked with his father and they used to meet in many business parties.But Kartik came at his house and also saw Naira for the first tym.He never ever met her before but often heard the stories of her rudeness.
On the other side,Naira entered her room fully tempered that she started throwing the pillows of well arranged bed in some corner of the room saying"Samajti kya han wo khud ko?Kyu..kyu mery matters may interfere krti hn?Mai baat kr rhi thi na un sy (naitik) but nahi unhy bich may zroor tang urani hn ta ke mjy gussa chry or wo Mr singhania sy sympathy gain kry.
Par unhy kya lgta hn wo ye sb kr k apni position strong kr lay gi .Aray yaar!wo tu unki already bht strong hn.Mr singhania tu hmsha sy ee husband hony ki duty nibha rahy hn,wo mery baap bany hi kb hn?"And a lone tear fell from her eyes which she wiped soon and started thinking about other things to divert her mind.She is not weak to drop her precious tears for someone who didn't even care about her.Not at all.

Naitik:Did you see Sushma how she talked to me in front of the guests?It's enough now.I am her dad,not a joke.She is now crossing her limits.Mai is larki ki or badtmeziya bardasht nahi kr skta.Isy idea nahi han k itna fame,paisa or comfort ghaar bthy zubaan chalany sy nahi mil jata.Is sb k liye mehnat krni parti han.
Sushma:Let it be Naitik.You know her na wo bachpan sy hi aisi han.Ap itna gussa mat kary.Kya faida us nay kon saa kisii ki baat maan laini han.
Naitik:No sushma!I have decided Naira ab kal sy office join kry gi or jo deal mainay kartik k saath sign ki han wo project Naira hi handle kry gi.Now it's high time!she should join office and start working.Buhat kr lia enjoy is nay.Ghaar may bthi wo wsy b had sy zyada irritate ho jati han.Is liye behtar yhi ho ga k wo proper office aye or kaam kry.
Sushma:Naitik do you really think k wo ap k saath jaye gi kal office?Naira sirf wohi krti han jo usy pasand ho.Wo aisy kisi ki b baato may a k koi kam nhi krti.
Naitik:Mai kisi wli list may nahi ata.Baap ho uska.
Sushma just rolled her eyes hearing his husband's statements because she knew well Naira never did the things she disliked.She was moody enough to listen herself only.
She soon dropped this topic because she knew Naira will decide tomorrow whether she wanna go office or not.So now it's useless to discuss about it again and again as it will bother them only.

Next Morning:
Naitik called Naira at breakfast table.She came there with grumpy mood.
Naitik:Here I asked you to come for an important purpose so stop making faces Naira!
Naira was sitting on the front chair opposite to Naitik.She was rolling her eyes and playing with fork moving it on pasta's plate which was kept untouched infront her.She didn't even reply hearing him so Naitik continued without caring about her mood.
Naitik:You have to join the office from today.Kal jo guests aye thy jin sy meri beti buhat achy sy mili thi.Wsy must say!tum nay apny behavior sy kya perfect sketch portray kia tha apna sb k minds pay. Shabash!isi ki umeed thi mjy tum sy.
(Setting his glasses )Anyways it's useless to talk about this.So where I was?O han tu mainay kal un k saath deal sign ki thi.Ab wo project tum handle kro gi.
Naira was shocked hearing him.To her,it was nothing but orders.Orders of her dad seriously!He could have talked nicely to her but no!his dad as usual taunted her, taunted her soo roughly.
Naira:Excuse me!Mai aisy kaisy ye project pay working start kr do.I haven't any idea about it.And how can you suddenly give such a big project to me?
Naitik:Jb kaam krna start kro gi tu tumhy sb idea ho jaye ga.
Naira:Ok!give me some time.I will think about it.
Saying this she went from there.Naitik said nothing afterwards as he also knew Naira will be offended and will surely not listen to him if he started forcing her.He at last thought to behave calmly not foolishly.
Naira straight went to her room nd fell in the middle of the bed.She started thinking about her dad's offer staring the ceiling.She was thinking deeply to accept his order to work at his office or not?Later she concluded to work at his office as she often got bore at home, moreover she will not have to face her step mother who always ruined her mood,the big reason to accept his offer.
Lastly she went to her dad and told him about her final decision.He was much happy to hear that whereas Sushma was shocked as she didn't expected her positive response.Naira felt happy and assured that she took a great decision seeing her disappointed.
