*January 3rd: At UA High School Class 1-A Classroom*
It was two days after the new year and Aizawa was very, very tired. He did not want to teach these problem children. But he had no say in what he had to do; he was the one who applied to be a teacher at UA. Aizawa sighed; he used to like this bunch of first years who were in his class. But after what happened to Izuku, he didn't like them much anymore.
Aizawa was also missing Eri, he grown to care for the little girl. Yet he knew that she was safer in the imperial palace with Izuku and Ochaco. Speaking of the problem child; Aizawa was checking the message he received from Izuku about the mission to take out Overhaul and the LOV once and for all. Aizawa smiled when he read that Izuku would be joining them on the mission and what he wished to do on this mission.
'Be prepared class, because Izuku Midoriya; the boy you called a traitor, and a villain will be in charge of this mission that we will be going on. So, I'd be prepared, mainly you Bakugo.' Aizawa thought, he looked at the clock and checked the time. "Time to go inform the class about the mission because we meet with Problem Child this afternoon to go over battle strategy." Aizawa said to himself before he got up and went to the classroom and saw that the class was ready for the day. The class got 3 new students since Izuku left. Shinso was transferred to 1-A when Mineta was expelled for his perverted antics against the girls of class A.
Then they got 2 transfer students, both girls, the first one has brown hair and blue eyes. Her name is Grace Everhart, she has a quirk known as Aura Guardian. It's very rare and she is also a childhood friend of Iida's. She is also American but moved to Japan when she was 4 years old, she also transferred to UA from CC Academy.
The next transfer student is named Layla Tyler, she has blonde hair and blue eyes, her quirk is known as Celestial. She is also from America, she transferred from Triton Academy in Trenton NJ.
"Good morning Class," Aizawa greeted, "Good morning, Mr. Aizawa." The class said back, a change was also seen in the former Dekusquad. They weren't as energetic as they used to be, this also included Tokoyami. "As you know next week is our mission to finally take down Overhaul and the LOV. The Royal Family has agreed to help us by giving the punishments to these villains. We also heard from the Royal Family that another hero will be joining us. You guys probably never heard of him so I will give you a run down. We say he's a hero but he's more of a vigilante that works for the police and the Royal Family. His hero name is Green Lightning due to his quirk and he's fast as lightning. This man knows what he's doing, and he will be calling the shots." Aizawa explained, then Iida raised his hand.
"Yes Iida?"
"Sir, aren't you, All Might, and Hawks going to be there as well? Why is this guy calling the shots?" He asked,
"Because he is Eri's adopted father and his family has a past with the LOV, let's just say that his grandmother was a hero, and she was killed by AFO the leader of the LOV. So, he's avenging his grandmother and getting justice for Eri. Also, me and the 2 other heroes attending this mission will have different jobs then you kids and Green Lightning." Said Aizawa, "I see," Iida said, "This afternoon we will be meeting with Green Lightning, he will already be in his suit. He wants to go over battle strategy and he wants to watch you guys' train." Then Bakugo spoke; no hand was raised.
"You said this extra's quirk had green lightning, ya sure it's not the nerd?" His squad and the rest of the class minus Aoyama, Tokoyami, Layla, Grace, and the former Dekusquad agreed with him.
"I assure you that Midoriya is not going to be there, he's living with his mother and getting his education away from you idiots." Aizawa lied because he knew that Izuku was going to be there and Aizawa smirked to himself because he'd be seeing his problem child show this class of idiots minus the 2 transfer students, who was in charge.
"Now then let's begin with today's lesson." Aizawa said as he got to teaching, Layla and Grace didn't understand why the class hatted the name Izuku Midoriya. Grace needed to talk to Iida because something wasn't clicking in her mind. She was going to make sure she got her answers during lunch.
*Time skip: Lunch*
Grace walked right up to Iida who was about to sit down. "Tenya," She called to him, he looked up at her. "What's going on Grace? Do you need something?" He asked, "Yes, I need to talk to you. Come with me," She said, he understood and followed her into the hallway.
"Alright Tenya, fess up." Iida looked at Grace confused, "What do you mean Grace?"
"You know what I mean! Who was Izuku Midoriya and why does half of this class hate him!" Iida's eyes widened; he didn't know how to explain Izuku's betrayal to Grace. "Come on Tenya, what did you and that class do to him?" Grace's voice was stern, and it raised since she was so confused and angered.
Iida started crying, "I...I didn't...I didn't mean to" He sobbed, Grace was even more concerned, "What are you talking about?"
"I didn't mean to betray him..." Grace's eyes widened, "Tenya, what happened?"
"I'll explain, you see Izuku Midoriya was an amazing person. He was my friend, I first met him during the entrance exam. We became close friends...he was my best friend along with Asui and Todoroki, we were a squad. But soon that changed."
"What happened Tenya? You know that you can tell me anything." Grace said as she approached Iida and placed her hand on his shoulder. "When we first moved into the dorms, Midoriya was in a relationship with Ashido. But he found out that she was cheating on him with Kirishima. So, like any good friend would do; me, Asui, and Todoroki went to comfort him. But soon after that happened the 3 of us were approached by Bakugo, he said that if we didn't comply with his plan then we would be harmed."
"What was this plan he had in mind?"
"He wanted to get Midoriya expelled from UA." Iida responded; Grace's eyes widened. "Why though?" She asked, "I don't know Grace." Iida said, "So you basically had no choice but to betray Midoriya?" Iida nodded, "All of his closest friends were threatened so this includes Tokoyami. But Grace, I wanted to believe him...I really did. I knew that he would never betray UA, what can I do? I want to make this right and apologize to my friend." Grace could hear the sadness in Iida's voice, so she knew that he wasn't lying to her. "Hey it will be alright Tenya, I'm sure that Midoriya would forgive you when you tell him everything that happened before he was betrayed." Grace said before hugging Iida, "Thanks Grace you're amazing." She smiled, "Your too kind Tenya, now then let's get some lunch." He nodded and then they went back to the lunchroom.
*Outside at the entrance to UA*
Aizawa, Hawks, All Might, and Nezu were waiting at the entrance to UA. They were waiting for Izuku to arrive. But Hawks was just informed about the betrayal of Izuku Midoriya. "You mean to tell me what the entirety of the original class 1-A betrayed Midoriya months ago and now the entire student body, plus a majority of teachers hate him and think of him as a villain?" Hawks asked, "Yes, that is true and now he's coming back under the alias of Green Lightning. He's going to be joining us on this mission to stop the LOV and Overhaul." Aizawa said while smiling since his favorite student was coming back to the school.
"I can't wait to see Midoriya back in these halls even if it's only for a short time." Nezu said with a smile then he turned to All Might. "What time did Midoriya say that he was going to be here?" But before All Might could say anything else a black limousine pulled up to the front of the gates. "Now," All Might said, and Hawks looked at that the limo confused,
"What do you mean he's here now? Is Midoriya secretly rich or something?"
"No, he's not but you'll see what we mean." Aizawa stated, then the door opened and Izuku got out, but this boy wasn't alone. He extended his hand to someone who was still in the limo, Hawks was shocked at who else got out of the limo. "Wait is that the princess?"
"Yes, that is, but I wonder why she's here." Nezu said, then the couple approached them. "Welcome back to UA Midoriya." Izuku smiled at Nezu, "Thank you Nezu. I know your all wondering why Ocha is here with me, well I'll let her tell you." Izuku said, then Ochaco spoke. "I came to see him off since he will be gone for 3 days and I also wanted to make sure that he is safe while walking on this property, I don't want to repeat what happened when I first met him."
"I understand what you mean princess, I can assure you that Midoriya will be protected." Nezu said, "Problem Child do you have your suit?" Aizawa asked Izuku. "Yes, I have it, it's in the trunk I'll go get it." Then he went to get his suit out of the trunk of the car. "I can't stay for long, I just wanted to see him off but also I wanted to tell you all something." Ochaco stated, "What's going on princess?"
"I wanted to inform you all that Izu is thinking about taking his revenge against the people who betrayed him. But it won't be until later he doesn't know yet because he wants to get through this mission of taking down Overhaul and the LOV before thinking about anything else." Ochaco explained, "That makes sense and don't worry princess we will make sure that Midoriya is protected." Ochaco smiled, "Ok,"
Then Izuku walked over holding a case that has his suit in it, he hands the case to All Might. "Can you hold this?" He nods, "Yes of course," All Might takes the case and then Izuku walks over to Ochaco and hugs her. "I'll be home before you know it love, I promise. Take care of Eri while I'm gone, be positive Ocha because I'll come back. Like I told you on New Year's I have complete control over my quirk I'm not going down that easily." She nods and hugs him back, "Alright Izu, be safe I love you."
He smiles, "I love you too Ocha, I promise I'll be ok." Then they kissed before Ochaco got back in the limo since she had somethings to do back at the palace, Izuku waved at her as the limo drove away. She waved and smiled, then Izuku turned to the adults behind him, and he saw Hawks' shocked face. "What was that?"
"Oh, I should have mentioned this before but me and Ochaco are dating." Since that was cleared up now Nezu spoke. "Alright let's get you to the teacher dorms so that you can change." Izuku nods and follows the adults to the teachers' dorms.
'It's so weird being back here after months of living in the palace with Ocha and her family along with mom and Eri. But I know that this is something that I need to do for my family, then I can go and have an easy life with my beloved Ocha, our daughter Eri, and my mom along with Ocha's family.' Izuku thought, when they reached the teacher dorms.
All Might took Izuku to his dorm, the blond hero opened the door and handed Izuku the case with his suit.
"Go on son, I'll be waiting." Izuku nodded, "Thanks dad." Izuku took the case and went inside the dorm room to change. Midnight saw this and approached All Might, "Was that Midoriya?" She asked, "Yes, he's here for the mission to take down Overhaul and the LOV." All Might answered, "Can say hi to him before he goes to the class?" All Might nodded,
"Of course, he's just changing into his vigilante suit."
They waited for 5 minutes before Izuku came out, "Sorry about of the wait." Then Izuku saw Midnight, "Hi Ms. Midnight, how have you been?"
"I'm doing well, I just wanted to say hi since you were here. Also how is Eri doing?' She said, "She's doing amazing, me and Ocha love her so much and she is very use to living in the palace with us." Izuku answered, "That's great well good luck with this mission." Izuku nodded, "Thanks," then he turned to All Might, "Let's go All Might, we don't want to be late." Izuku said as he pulled up his hood and started walking towards the school with All Might following.
Izuku approached the school and was seen by Aizawa, "Alright problem child, let's go." Izuku nodded and followed Aizawa though the halls of UA. 'It's been a while since I've been here walking these halls towards the 1-A classroom.' Izuku was soon pulled out of his thoughts. "I must tell you something before all this."
Izuku looked at Aizawa confused. "What's going on Aizawa?" Izuku asked, "Well since you left, we have 3 new students since you left."
"Really?"
Aizawa nodded, "Mineta was expelled from school for his perverted antics against the girls, he was replaced with Shinso. Then we got some transfer students, both girls. One is named Grace Everhart; she is a transfer student from CC Academy and her quirk is Aura Guardian. The next one is Layla Tyler she transferred here from a hero academy in America. Her quirk is Celestial, also they don't know about what the class did to you. Also no one was given your old dorm room, I couldn't bring myself to put anyone else in that room." Aizawa explained, "It's alright Mr. Aizawa, I understand. I'll take back my dorm room for this mission, and also having 20 students makes my plan easier." Izuku said causing Aizawa to smile, then they arrived at the 1-A classroom door. "Been a while since I have been in here." Izuku said, "I know problem child, I'll tell them that you are here and then you can come in and go from there." Izuku nodded then Aizawa walked into the classroom.
*In the class 1-A classroom before Aizawa enters*
The class has returned from lunch, and they are waiting for Aizawa to come back into the classroom so that they can do some hero training. "I wonder when Green Lightning will get here." Mina said, "I know what you mean, but I still don't understand why Mr. Aizawa is allowing this guy to boss us around." Momo said, Shoto was in his seat and sighed, he knew that Momo wasn't the same person as she was when the school year started. She wasn't the same person he had a crush on, but he shook his head to get the thought out of his head. But then he thought about a blond-haired girl with cat ears and a tail that he met during his work study before the mission to save Eri.
The girl's outfit was of a maid in the palace but still she was polite and kind, a blush crept onto his face, and he smiled to himself. But he was pulled out of his thoughts by Aizawa walking into the room.
"Settle down you problem children." Aizawa said then he went behind the podium. "As I've already told you all is that Green Lightning was coming to talk to you all about the plan for this mission. He's here so I need you all to be on your best behavior." Aizawa said, "Alright you can come in." The door opened and Izuku walked in, no one could see his hair, but they could see his eyes. 'Is that Midoriya?' Iida thought, 'no way, that is him but what is he doing here?' Tsuyu thought, 'Could we talk to him?' Shoto thought,
Then Izuku spoke, "Good afternoon, Class A, as you all know my name is Green Lightning. I will be in charge of this mission to stop the LOV and Overhaul. I'll be looking forward to working with you all, but first I need to assist your skills and how powerful your quirks are. So please go get into your hero costumes and meet me and Aizawa on the training field." Izuku said, what he heard was his normal voice but what the class heard was a deeper voice. Since Izuku turned on the voice changer within his suit before he walked into the classroom.
"You heard him, get moving." Said Aizawa, then the class got up and went to get changed into their hero costumes.
Once everyone had changed, they were out on the training field. "Alright I want to see how you all are with quirk power and control. I hope I'm not disappointed." Izuku said, then he got them into partners and had them spar. Izuku evaluated them and he noticed that they all improved significantly since he left. He was not disappointed at all with their training now it was time to get into the good stuff. The class stayed after school so that Izuku could explain to them what's going to happen during the mission to stop the LOV and Overhaul.
"Thanks for staying."
"Not like we had much choice extra." Bakugo said annoyed, Izuku scoffed, "Stop with that attitude Bakugo, I swear if you keep this up then you won't be a hero at all." Izuku said,
"Now then, let me explain what I have planned. The 3 heroes joining us; Eraser, Hawks, and All Might probably told you that they have different jobs than you, that being when we find Overhaul's HQ 2 groups will come with me to stop and arrest him. Eraser will take the east of the location, Hawks in the north, and All Might in the south and west. Each hero will take a group of students, now then for me to put you into groups before I go over your jobs." Izuku explained,
"Group one is; Aoyama, Hagakure, Ojiro, and Shoji. Group 2 is; Sero, Ashido, Kirishima, and Bakugo."
"Why am I with those extras?" Bakugo asked, "I swear Bakugo! Can you ever do anything right and be quiet for once?! You're with that group so deal with it!" Izuku yelled annoyed. He was already hating the fact that Bakugo was being his normal self.
"Now then, group 3 is; Yaoyorozu, Todoroki, Sato, and Koda. Group 4 is; Shinso, Jiro, Kaminari, and Tyler. Group 5 is; Iida, Everhart, Asui, and Tokoyami." Izuku said finally finishing putting the class into groups.
"One more thing, group 1 goes with Hawks, group 4 goes with All Might, while groups 2 and 5 come with me. Any questions?" No one answered Izuku so he went onto the next topic. "Our objective is to arrest Overhaul and to confiscate the quirk erasing bullet that he has created from Eri's quirk. Also arrest his men as well find all of his locations where he has hide outs. But Overhaul is mine, no one take him down."
"Why is that?" Iida asked, "Because, he harmed my daughter and I need to get revenge on him for what he did." Izuku answered and anyone could see just from the look in his eyes that Izuku was serious about his decision. "I want all of you up and at the entrance to UA by 8:00 tomorrow morning. If you're not there right at 8 then I will come for you." Everyone nodded at him, "Good head to the dorms."
But before they could head to the dorms Aizawa spoke, "Green Lightning here will be staying in the dorms with you all."
"But Mr. Aizawa the only dorm we have in there is you know who's." Said Kaminari, Aizawa was about to speak but Izuku stopped him and went up to Kaminari, Izuku deactivated his voice changer and whispered. "Try and prevent me from entering my dorm Kaminari and you will have more than just a Detroit Smash to the face. Also don't say anything about who I truly am." Izuku then turned his voice changer back on, "I understand that the dorm you have is for someone else, but Aizawa talked to Mr. Midoriya and the boy has given Aizawa permission for me to use his dorm just for tonight." Izuku said, everyone understands and heads to the dorms, but Izuku looks at Kaminari and the look he gave scared Kaminari, but Izuku knew that the electric quirk user would not say a thing and he would forget what happened by morning.
Izuku entered his old dorm after getting the key from Aizawa, he closes the door and locks it before taking his suit off and taking a breather. "That was quite the day." Izuku said to himself then he messages Ochaco and tells her about how the first day went that is before he changed into the pajamas he brought and climbed into his old bed that was still there. "It's cold," He muttered, then he chuckled. "I guess I'm missing Ocha." Then he smiles, "I'll be home soon love, promise." Then he drifts off to sleep.
