October 15h 1978
The day was starting good, mostly cloudy but I do see
some sunlight. I put the paintbrush in the cup and got
up from the chair to put my notebook on the counter to dry. I hear my siblings yelling, what are they fighting about? I hear Finney my brother running out of his room behind me. Something hits me at the back of my head.
"Ow!" I yelled and turned around to see Finney throwing out stuff from a box like he was looking for something.
"Finn!" I yell out his name.
"My glove! Y/N WHERES MY GLOVE?" Are you kidding me he knew he had a game today and he didn't remember to look for his glove.
"Where did you last leave it?" I asked.
"If I knew I wouldn't be looking for it!" He yells.
I then see my younger sister Gwen come with Finneys glove.
"There it is Gwenny has it, can you stop making a mess!"
"Thanks Gwen. Holy shit come on guys we have to go!"
Finney says looking at the time.
The time was 2:15 and Finney's game started at 2:30, the ball park wasn't really far but we still had to hurry.

We made it to the field in 10 minutes, Finney goes over to his team while Gwen and I go to sit down at the benches.
"Hey guys" my friend Donna says.
"Hey" Gwen says with a smile.
"Hi Donna, how are you?"
"I'm good, how are you?"
"I'm ok nothing much has happened"
"How's Bruce ?" Donna said raising her eyebrow.
"Hey I never said I liked him, I just think he's cute."
"Yeah, ok." The game was starting and I was cheering on Finney. A small rock pebble gets thrown at me. What the fuck that hurts. I turn too see the person I hated the most, Robin Arellano.
I've known him since kindergarten, been enemies since then. He was laughing with his friends and I was already mad.
I don't get how my brother is friends with him but Finney did tell me to get along with Robin but it never worked out.
I was watching the game and Finney was about to win against Bruce Yamada. Finney pitched the ball but Bruce hit it with his bat.
The ball flew over the fence and Bruce got home run. I saw the upsetting look on Finney's face. I see Finney talking to Bruce, they shook hands.
Bruce is really nice, also handsome. I saw him wave at me so I waved back.
At the corner of my eye I saw Robin scoff and rolled his eyes.
"What's up with you?" I asked him.
"He's just an idiot, ok." He walks away.
What the fuck is his problem? why does he have to act like a douche every time?
Time skip
We got home to see dad passed out on the couch with the tv on and of course with a beer bottle in his hand. He always been like this since mom died and he always wants to take his anger on us whenever he's drunk or not.
I took my painting off the counter and went to my room.
The music was playing on my radio while I was studying for the Math test that I have tomorrow.
Elvis Presley's voice always makes me focus, still upset that he passed last year. I continued to study until someone barges through my door.
It had to be Robin are you shitting me, I was tired of seeing him already.
"Jeez, do you knock?" I said turning off the radio.
"Whatever dipshit, Finn made food."
I get up and pushed him out of my way and headed to the dinner table.
