I swipe my card as I opened the prison gates, leading new convicts to the prison yard and soon to their prison block. Welcome to Hell's Gate prison, it lives by it's name because Hell's Gate is nothing but a devils playground. Home to thousands of prisoners, Hell's Gate is one of the worlds dangerous and strictest prison. From murders, drug deals, rapist to mafia bosses, you ask we have them all.
Working at Hell's Gate is basically asking for a death wish, working here is practically putting your life on the line, letting these bastards suffer and die slowly either from other inmates or just by other causes. Hell's Gate don't believe in death penalty, the highest sentence is life, you've done your crime then you'll serve it and die alone in prison, it's harsh and sad way to die but it's on them. Hell's Gate is known to have the most highest security, we got cameras everywhere and we make sure they don't do something stupid. You may asked, Xander why the hell are you working here? Well ... my father use to be a prison guard in Hell's Gate, he was killed as some inmates try to break out. In order to do that they needed my father out of the picture. I vowed I'll continue his dream working as a prison guard, seeking revenge won't bring him back to life.
Studied and trained hard for years just to get a position, most looked at me like I'm crazy applying for the job. Looks can be deceiving as most tend to forget, I proved them wrong with my gun and self defense training and soon I've got the job. Warden James is friends with my father, he's a hard man to impress and tough on me but I wanted no pity coming from the man I come to respect. I'm tough onto the prisoners, they soon learn not to mess with me, I'm tough to handle and have a feisty attitude. But there's one thing they come to learn, no one is the boss here, I am. Warden may be my boss but the only person who runs with prison is me.
"Joe take the prisoners to Block W" I said. Joe nodded and leaded the new prisoners across the prison yard and towards their block. I walked to James office as he have some news he'll like to share.
"Good just on time please have a seat" he said. I sat down and place my feet onto his desk, he slap my foot away but I put them back.
"We have a new transfer, five prisoners will now be in Hell's Gate. They aren't your ordinary prisoners, these guys are smart and dangerous. They'll now be in Block A for now on, no other prisoners shall enter that block" he replied
"Five? why does five convicts needed a whole block to themselves, doesn't make sense. Everyone here is dangerous and smart, what make these bastards so special?" I asked. James chuckled.
"They're the Alessio twins and their men" James replied. I gasped in surprise, Alessio twins is one of the worlds dangerous mafia gangs, whoever caught them must be a legend.
"How is that possible?" I asked
"Can't say, it's unknown how they've been caught" James replied. James explained more about the situation, other prisons can no longer contain the group. Hell's Gates is the prison for them, everyone feared the Alessio twins, they're monsters and cold heart. Just their men along can take down an army base as rumors says. There's so many theories how the Alessio twins become number one, some say they killed their entire family in order to gain wealth, others say they worked with a secret service to gain information.
"When will they arrive?" I asked
"Tomorrow afternoon" he said
"So the question is who'll guard them?" I asked
"These aren't ordinary prisoners, they needed to be guards 24/7. So I'll offer you a position Xander, you're a hard worker and can make inmates shiver in fear. I love you as my own son so offering this position to you is risky and dangerous but you're the only man for this job" he replied
I thought about it for a minute, Alessio twins under my supervision. I won't let Italian mafia twins take me down and so I accepted the position, I never back down from a challenge and something like this is hard to resist. I walk back to the court yard and started my second shift, watching prisoners as they work out or play basket ball for only ten minutes. My mind drifts off to the Alessio twins, they're dangerous and mysterious, no one knows what they look like nor how they sound. Sound boards are used to cover their voices and tracing it leads to a dead end. By tomorrow everyone will know who they're and what they look like, just hope I hadn't make the biggest mistake of my life.
