Izzy held the case in one hand, while her other arm was around Tony's back, as they walked back to her apartment. People were looking, taking photos and stopping them to ask questions, but Tony brushed them all off politely.
'You're completely insane for doing that. What if I didn't make it?..'.. Izzy shook her head.
'I trust you Iz, more than anyone or anything..'.. He looked down at her, his arm across her back, his hand in the pocket of her shorts... 'I wasn't scared..'
'Bullshit..'.. She rolled her eyes... 'I know you too well Stark, you were shitting a brick..'
Tony laughed, grinning across at her... 'I've missed you..'
'I missed you too..'... They turn onto her street, and she sighed... 'What do we do now?..'
'Cap said you knew what we were doing. We don't have to do that, but I'd like to have you home with us Iz. I need you home with me..'.. He stopped, turning her to face him... 'I know it's going to take some time to get through what's happened, but we're a team right?..'.. He held her waist.
Izzy smiled up at him, nodding... 'Partners. Tony and Izzy..'
'Ironman and Pheonix..'.. He leaned in, kissing her softly... 'You like the suit though?..'
Izzy chuckled, shaking her head, and slipping her hand in his... 'Its perfect. I didn't know you were doing that. I didn't see it when I was watching you at the compound..'
'Creepy stalker..'.. Tony gently squeezed her hand, teasing her... 'I did it away from the tower. I'll show you the place soon..'
They walk up the steps of her building and head inside, making their way to her apartment. Izzy opens the door, her eyes widening, before she slammed it shut... 'As if I don't need enough trauma..'.. She shook her head, and then knocked on the door... 'You got thirty seconds to get dressed, and then get that table out of there!..'
Tony quickly caught on, and sniggered seeing the look on Izzys face... 'Who was on top?..'.. She gagged and shook her head.
'Don't, just don't..'... The door opened and her dad was flushed beetroot red not looking at her, and her pops was smirking as he filled a glass with water to drink. She was thankful they were both dressed... 'Get it out of here..'.. She snapped her fingers to the table... 'I ate my food there. You two got a bedroom, for fuck sake..'
Both men say nothing, as the pick up the table, and begin to get it out the door... 'Hang on...'... She calls to them, putting the case down on her couch, and folding her arms... 'I want to know, is there any other furniture that needs to be thrown out, because you two can't keep it in the bedroom?..'
The guilty faces from them both told her yes... 'I'm going to pack my shit. I want all furniture you two fucked on, out of here, and then pack your shit. We're going home..'
'Wait, what?..'.. Steve looks between her and Tony, seeing her cuddle into his side and he smiled... 'You two are ok?..'
'I got a lot of grovelling to do, but we're ok..'.. Tony kisses her head... 'But you two might not want to hang around with that..'.. Tony gestured to the table, reminding them of what they were caught doing. The two soldiers hastily escape with it, leaving the other two sniggering.
'Want to help me pack?..'.. She smiled at him, seeing that wicked gleam... 'And only pack. We still got to talk it all out properly first..'
'Got it. Come one, which one is your room...'... He slaps her ass and walks towards the bedrooms.

Nat had no idea what had happened, after Steve talked with Tony. Both men were very hush hush about it all before they left the compound. It had been a few hours, but Tony had messaged everything was fine.
She looked over at Pepper, cooking with Wanda and Vision, while Sam, Thor, Clint, Pietro and Rhodey were playing poker at the table, using jolly ranchers as currency.
'Did you miss me?..'.. Nats head almost did a 180, as she whipped around, seeing Izzy at the door, holding hands with Tony. She threw herself over the back of the couch, making a beeline for her friend.
Izzy let go of Tony and caught Nat in her arms, as the red head wrapped her legs around... 'I'll take that as a yes..'... She laughed, and put Nat down as the others rushed over. Every one of them hugging her tight, speaking comforting words, glad that she was there.
'You're back right? You're staying?..'.. Nat asked, looking between the two and then Steve and Bucky.
'I'm home. I've missed you all...'.. She smiled, as Tony wrapped an arm around her waist.
'So, the thing we got going on, is that..?..'.. Sam nodded at Tony who shook his head.
'She already knows, and no. We've still going to work through it but, for now, no..'... Tony tells them all.
'Whats that smell? It's amazing..'.. Izzy snuffed at the air, and she saw Wanda smile proudly... 'Pepper was teaching me and Vision how to cook, its beef bourguignon..'
Izzy stepped forward, linking her arm with Wanda... 'I'm sorry we haven't been properly introduced, but I'm glad you're here, both of you. Between us, me and Nat sorely needed another female on the team..'
Tony watched as she walked off with the women, over to the kitchen... 'You two good now?..'... Rhodey asked, as all the men moved to sit on the couches.
'Kind of. We've got a lot to get through but, we'll be alright..'.. Tony smiled as he sat down, watching Izzy laugh at something Nat said.
'Does this mean she's back for good, and on missions?..'.. Clint asked, as he phone pinged.
'Yep, I'm home!..'... She called from the kitchen.
'Seems you two made the news..'.. Clint held his phone up... 'Friday, pull it up please..'
They all watch as a screen comes down from the ceiling and a news report comes up, with Christine Everheart talking about it.
'We have eye witness accounts of Tony Stark falling from the old Avengers tower, only to be rescued by another in a suit, similar to his Ironman. Witnesses report that the hero saved Stark, landing safely on the ground before the person exited the suit and struck him..'..
Video footage plays on the screen and people screaming could be heard, butting the team sees Izzy catch Tony, and then it switches to them on the sidewalk, where she slapped him. Their conversation was clearly heard, before showing them kissing.
'Could this new hero be Starks love interest? Who is this mysterious new woman in his life? And is she on the team of heroes? We will keep you updated as soon as we find out more. I'm Christine Everhea-..'
'Friday turn it off..'.. Izzy sighed, and the screen went black... 'I swear if they call me anything other than Pheonix, I'm gonna be pissed. Like I don't have enough names already...'.. Izzy began to lay the table with Nat.
'There's a lot of speculation, and already they've found out who you are..'... Clint scrolls through his phone.
'Stark, come here..'... Izzy called to him, and he walked over, as she pulled out her phone, setting a video to record... 'I really don't want to do this, but better to get ahead of the crowd..'.. She hit record, and smiled at her phone.
'Hey everyone, my name is Izzy Matthews, and I'm guessing you've already seen the news. So here's a quick rundown for you. I'm engaged to Tony Stark, we've been together since 2010. Yes I'm on the team, my name is Pheonix..'.. She held the phone out, making sure to get the team in the video as she moved around.
'I'm the super soldier daughter of Steve Rogers..'.. She side hugged him, and he kissed the top of her head... 'Yes, I look good for a 71 year old, right?..'.. She chuckled... 'There's more to the story, but you don't need to know...'
Tony walked over, wrapping his arms around her from behind as he smiled at the camera... 'All true, and she's the most amazing woman I've ever met, and glad she's mine..'
Izzy tilted her head, grinning at him before looking back at the camera... 'Just wanted you all to know, before the news starts ripping apart my life, not that there's much there for you all to know. You got any questions, feel free to email them across Christine Everheart, I'm sure Miss Vulture had plenty to say about me. The look of disappointment on her face said enough. Love you all, bye..'.. She blew a kiss and waved, before posting it online for the whole world to see.
'Can't believe you did that..'.. Nat chuckled.
'Everheart is a bitch. I wanted to stab her before but Stark wouldn't let me..'.. Izzy rolled her eyes, slipping her phone into her pocket.
'But, won't Hydra come after you again?..'.. Sam asked, as they began to take a seat at the table.
'They don't remember me, none of them will. I had to create a whole new identity for myself. Birth certificate is legit, as are all my documents..'.. Izzy shrugged as Pepper, Wanda and Vision brought the food to the table... 'Everyone is going to wonder as to how they dodnt know o existed, that's all..'
Izzy felt Starks hand on her leg, giving it a squeeze and she saw the questioning look in his eyes. She nodded at him, to let him know she was ok, and she really was. She was home, with her family.
