Bright wasn't enjoying anything anymore. After getting silent treatment from Win, he felt he lost something from his life. These months, he didn't see Win crying again, not smiling like before. He just went to his sister's house and came back from there one week later. From then, he started acting differently.
Win didn't even run away like before whenever Bright brought a chic in the room. He observed Win doing his own works ignoring the nasty things of Bright. Bright lost interest in having chics at night.
He sat alone at the backyard. Inside the venue they were enjoying. His uncle was cutting cake and all. He felt someone beside him, it was Win with a plate.
"It's the last piece, I saved it for you here" He put the piece towards his lips, he smirked and rolled the tongue over his fingers sliding the piece inside his mouth leaving him all flustered. He patted his head "Thank you".
Win coughed was about to get up, Bright held his hand. "Stay please" Win silently sat there. Bright felt good after having Win beside him. His mood suddenly littened up.
"You said you won't come down?" Bright asked softly. Win sighed "I saw you sitting here alone, that's why"
"Finally you talked to me" Bright said. Win looked away. "I missed our friendship"
Win gripped the plate, gulped his saliva.
"Let's go"
"Where?"
"To take a dip" Bright dragged Win.
Win held his hand "I.. I" Bright pushed Win to the water suddenly. Win thrashed around feeling scared. His vision was becoming blurry due to nervousness.
He was pulled away to the surface by Bright.
"What the hell?"
Win panted hard, he started crying. Bright frowned seeing him crying again after so many months.
"You can't swim?" Win shook his head
"I-I'm sc-cared of water"
"Who the hell gets scared from water?"
"M-Me.. "
"Are you serious?"
"Um-m.. I'm sorry" Win sniffed. Bright sighed "Fine you stay here" He walked away. Win looked at the water, waiting for him. But he didn't come back, Win was looking for him. He felt a towel around him, he looked up. He saw Mile.
"P"
Mile sighed, he didn't look at Win. "Phi.. Where's Bright?" Mile looked here and there.
"Phi--"
"He's... Uh.. He's making out with that girl Yaya" Mile sighed. Win closed his eyes. His jealousy took him, but this time it was at extreme level. He thought Bright changed but he was wrong.
They walked inside the mansion.
"Oh here comes the great maid of our mansion" Win stopped walking, Mile was beside him. They saw all the people looking at them.
"Our maid, successfully seduced him, see how they are coming inside being all wet" Brian said.
All looked at them in disgust.
"I need to call the cleanet to clean our pool area, these nasty people nowadays"
Win shook his head "S-sir.. I.. I fell in the pool.. P'Mile helped me"
"Shut up, show us the evidence then" Brian said. All nodded. Win looked to Bright, who had his arm around Yaya's shoulder.
"What are you looking at him?" Brian asked then looked at Bright more like glare. Win tried to say but Bright cut him "I don't know anything uncle why he's looking at me" He shrugged. Brian looked at Win "Now what? Give evidence"
Win had tears flowing down from his eyes. He was stabbed million times into pieces. Mile was glaring at Bright, he wanted to beat him into pulp.
"Now he got Mile, this is his nature. Getting attention from the boys" Brian said and smirked. Yaya smirked too. She gripped Bright's arm. Bright looked down.
"Yes uncle, even he kissed me inside the kitchen room. When I tried to back away he hit me on the nose, he forced himself on me" That same man said.
Obviously people will believe a powerful man not a mere person. Win felt his whole world destroyed within seconds.
"What shall we do to him then?" Broan asked everyone.
"Sell him to someone"
"Kill him"
"Feed his body to the dogs"
Win closed his eyes, feeling ashamed hearing all the words from others. Mile shouted at them
"SHUT UP MOTHERFUCKERS, YOU DON'T KNOW A SINGLE THING ABOUT HIM"
Win stopped him by holding his hand. "No Win let me spea--"
"No need P'Mile"
"Oh my god, now Mile is also tamed by this bitch" One of the lady said.
"Let's sell him" Brian said.
"How much?" All boys roared.
"Give me a lumsome price and take your twink" Brian announced.
All started telling the prices. Bright kept on looking at Win, Win was clenching his jaw, looking down. When Win looked up, Yaya immediately kissed Bright. Bright was shocked. He didn't feel anything in that kiss, rather he felt disgusting. He didn't move his lips, his mind was having a roller coaster emotions flooding inside.
Yaya pulled away, turned to look at Win then smirked. Win eyed her, with hate, anger, jealousy.
"Ok so it's final, 20 million will be the ultimate price, take him" Brian said.
The old man came in front of Win, pulled him close. Win didn't look up, he let his body being pulled by the old man.
"So pretty baby boy" The old man sniffed his cheek. Bright felt irritated seeing the old man touching Win. When he touched Win for the first time, it was a pleasurable experience for him, the way his hand gave him pleasure in class it made Bright greedy. Just because of his ego and constant anger on his uncle he passed the hate to Win.
Bright on one side realize his mistake but the very next moment his anger takes him. After seeing Mile so close to Win, he couldn't control his anger. He felt jealous too. What's stopping him? He don't know. Why he can't love Win? He keeps on chanting that he's straight he likes girls but still somewhere in his heart he needs Win.
"Bright" A cracked voice called him. He turned his attention, his eyes widened seeing his mother. He ran to his mother.
"Mom" He hugged her. His mother hugged him too. Brian gritted his teeth. Bright's mother saw Brian he was slowly shaking his head. She gulped and started crying on his shoulder.
"Br-Bright... This boy.. This boy is a criminal. He threatened everyone of us if I-I don't g-give him the inheritance h-he'll kill us.. " His mother said.
Bright's eyes widened. Brian closed his eyes and smirked as his plan of clearing his name succeeded finally. For few days, medias were investigating on him as they got a hint of Bright's mother being trapped by Brian, just to clear his name in front of the medias and other ministers. He made a plan.
"What? What are you saying Ruby?" Brian asked innocently.
"He.. Even beat the security outside the mansion, giving me dead threats"
All gasped. Win didn't flinch, he was looking down. Bright glared at Win again his anger, frustration all clouded his mind.
"Oh my god.. Is this boy for real, he's not even denying it.. See how shamelessly standing here"
All nodded. Bright walked up to Win and dragged him outside the house. Mile was shouting at him but Bright ignored him.
They stopped outside the mansion's gate. Bright pulled the wedding ring from Win's hand then pushed Win outside "Just get out before I do something terrible to you" Win looked at him finally, tears rolled down. Both stared at each other one with rage and another with sadness.
