Soundras came next to us and lended us its hand. "Yuta, Rikka, let's go!"
"N-Nidaime?"
"W-What's happening out there?"
"There's no time! You two need to get to Junk! Now!"
"R-Right!"
We went onto Soundras' hand and Nidaime quickly took us to the Junk Shop.
Junk Shop Aya
The three of us enter the shop. "We're here!"
"Yuta! Rikka!"
"Rikka-chan!" Ms. Takarada went towards her and hugged her.
"Okaa-san..."
"Hey, you alright? Are you hurt? Do you need anything?"
"No no, I'm fine.
"Really? Oh...that's good." Her face suddenly turned serious. "Don't ever go out anymore, alright?"
"E-Eh...? O-Okay..."
Junk turned on. "Yuta, let's go!"
"Right!"
"Matte!"
"Huh?"
Rikka came towards me. "Can you really fight? You're still sick, aren't you?"
"Yeah...a little, but I'm fine."
"You sure?"
I nodded and smiled. "I'm fine. I can fight. Besides..." I looked at Junk. "They need us now more than ever, right?"
Gridman nodded. "Right."
I nodded, then I moved my arms. "Access...Flash!"
Present day...
We look around Tsutsujidai and see everything in ruins; buildings were crumbled and many people were dead; our friends lie on the ground, lifeless and still.
"What happened...?"
We look over at the other Gridman holding Gridknight by the neck. "You..."
"..."
Gridknight groaned. "G...Grid...man..."
"Why do you have him in your hand?" Gridman asked.
"..."
"Answer!"
He turned his head and looked at us. "I'm merely liberating him."
"'Liberating'?"
"That's right..."
"..."
"Gridman...Hibiki Yuta...don't listen-" Gridman tightened his grip and started choking him.
"Aagh..."
"Knight-kun!" both Nidaimes said from Junk.
"Let him go! You don't need to hurt him!"
"Hurt...?" He chuckled. "I'm not going to hurt him...I'm going to kill him..."
We froze and were shocked by what he said. "N-Nani...?"
"We're going to kill him...just like we did in our timeline..." said Yuta.
"You...killed...your Knight...?" I asked out of shock. "Matte...you said he died...fighting the kaijus..."
"Gomen Yuta, I lied."
My other self...the other Gridman...lied...again...
"Masaka..." said Gridman. "Were you the one who killed all your friends?"
"Eh?"
"..."
As I stared at them through Gridman's eyes, I slowly began to realize it. "No...no way...it...can't be..."
Yuta chuckled. "That's right. Gridman and I killed them. All of them."
There was a brief pause and it was silent.
"Uso...that's..." Utsumi said from Junk
"Yuta...killed them...?" said Rikka.
No...that...can't be true...
Yuta chuckled. "Rikka..."
"...!"
"Utsumi..."
"Tch..."
"Knight..."
"Aagh..."
"Max and the others..."
"..."
"And...Yomogi and his friends..."
"Ggh..."
"We killed them all...we liberated them all..."
As I stared at them, I could hear his words repeating in my head, over and over again; there was a pain in my chest, and for some reason, I felt a strong sense of guilt and regret.
"No...no! That's not true...!"
"Yuta..."
"You wouldn't kill them...! They were your friends!"
"..."
"It's not true! Tell me it's not true!"
"..."
"Hibiki-kun...it's true..."
"Nidaime...? You...knew...?"
"I did; Knight-kun did; everyone else did..."

"Hm. They kept it from the two of you. Interesting..."
"Hibiki-kun...we didn't want you to find out this way, but...it was for your own good."
"They lie, Yuta. They're only keeping you from doing the right thing."

"DAMARE!" Gridman and Yuta shouted.
"Hi-bi...ki..." Junk glitched out.
"Everyone!"
Gridman let go of Knight and he dropped to the ground. "Aagh..."
"You...!"
"Don't worry, they're fine. We just cut off their communications so they wouldn't get in the way."
"'Get in the way'...? What are you talking about?"
"Do you know why they're trying to keep the two of you away from us?"
"..."
"It's because they don't want you to become like us. They don't want you to become a so-called 'monster'.
Yuta chuckled. "Of course they would call us that...knowing what we did...but...it was all for a good cause."
I grunted. "A good cause...?!"
"That's right. We wanted to save them all, but they wouldn't allow it. Killing them was the only-"
"FUZAKENNA!"
"...!"
"You killed Rikka...Utsumi...Knight...and everyone else..." I grunted again. "They were our friends...we were supposed to protect them...!"
"If you'd gone what we went through, you would understand."
"ENOUGH! You don't deserve to live..."
Gridman's left eye glowed bright red. "I see...you are exactly like us..." He chuckled. "Fine. If you want to kill us, come, if you dare..."
Sayoko
"Two Gridmans, facing off each other..." I giggled and clapped my hands. "This will be quite interesting indeed...!"
Yomogi
"Ggh..."
"...gi..."
My vision was blurry, and I was weak; with the strength I had left, I grabbed onto the sides of the damaged cockpit and slowly pulled myself out. "Ggh...!" As I tried to move my body, I felt pain near my legs and hip, and stopped myself. Dammit...
"Yo...gi...!"
Huh...? That...voice...
"Yomogi!!!"
My vision finally became clear and I saw who it was. "Yume..."
She came up to me. "Yomogi!" She grabbed me and slowly lifted me up from the cockpit. "Yomogi! Are you-"
I suddenly felt dizzy and my vision became blurry again. "Aagh..."
"No no no! Stay with me!"
"Yu...me..."
"Yomogi!" She grabbed me even tighter and I heard sobbing. "Onegai...stay with me..."
"Yume! Yomogi!"
Two figures came closer and I looked to see Koyomi and Chise running towards us. "You...two..."
Koyomi came up to me and helped carry me. "Oi, you alright?"
"Y...Yeah..." A drop of blood fell to the ground below me. "Huh...?"
"You're bleeding!" said Chise.
"Come on, we need to get you to the hospital or something...!"
"Yomogi..."
Once we were on the ground, the damaged cockpit of Dyna Soldier from Dynazenon suddenly disappeared.
"Woah!"
"What...happened...?" I asked.
"I don't know, but...it seems like Gauma and the others left."
"You're right. I don't see them anymore..."
"Aagh..."
"Yomogi!"
"HMPH!" The ground shook and we could hear noises of someone fighting. "HAAH!"
"Is that...Gridman...?" I asked.
"Y-Yeah...and he's fighting the other Gridman..."
I lifted my head up and my vision became clear. "T-Those two..."
"HAAH!" Gridman punches Gridman hard in the chest. "HMPH!" Then, he punches him hard in the face.
"Hey...is it just me, or does it seem like he's more...violent...?" Chise asked.
"Yeah...he is..."
"Aagh..."
"G-Gomen, Yomogi. Come on, let's go!"

"Aagh..." Rex and the others groaned.
"Everyone!"
"Y-Yomogi and the others..."
"I'll get them. Just rest for now," said Nidaime.
"A-Arigatou..."
"Utsumi, what's wrong with Junk?"
"I don't know, but it almost seems like Gridman is cut off from Junk. Maybe that's why the others came back."
"Matte, so Yuta and Gridman can't hear us?"
He shook his head. "I don't think they can."
"Mazui..."
"Nidaime? Doshita?"
Her hands shook and we saw her terrified face. "If what I think is going to happen...then...we're all doomed..."
"What do you mean?" Max asked.
"They're the only ones fighting, and...both Gridman and Yuta have given into their anger. This would be the perfect chance to..."
"To what?"
' "...to turn them..."
There was a brief pause and it was silent.
"M-Matte...when you mean by turn, you mean-"
"Yes. Your Gridman and Hibiki-kun will become exactly like them..."
Yuta
"HAAH! HAAH! HAAH!!!"
We punched them, over and over again; the ground shook beneath our feet, and our fists created loud shockwaves every single time.
"HMPH!"
They get knocked back and crash into a building. "Aagh..."
We panted. "Haa...haa...haa..."
Gridman chuckled. "Subarashi. You've gotten stronger and faster from your anger."
"Damare..."
"Sooner or later, you'll become exactly like us. If you're willing to kill us, imagine how many people you'll kill to take us down."
"DAMARE!" We punched them in the face again.
"Aagh...!"
"The only ones who are going to die are you two!"
Yuta chuckled. "You're too weak to kill us, and too weak to protect Rikka and the others..."
"HMPH!"
Knight
"HMPH! HMPH!"
That voice...it can't be...
"HAAH!"
"Aagh...!"
Gridman...
As I listened to the noise of the two Gridmans battling, I was laying down on the ground, weak and helpless, unable to move. I remained in my Gridknight form, but my head continued to beep and my strength slowly dissipated.
"HAAH!!!"
Tch...! I focused, and with the strength I had left, I tried to move my body, but to no avail. Move...just...move...!
Suddenly, the ground shook and I could hear the sounds of their fighting intensifying.
"HMPH! HMPH! HMPH!"
"Aagh...!"
I grunted and my blood boiled. Stand up...and fight...Gridknight...!!!
My hands started to move, and I could feel the rest of my body beginning to move as well.
"Ggh...!"
I grabbed onto the soil and slowly pushed myself up; using my legs, I supported myself and eventually, I was able to stand.
"Ggh..." I was leaning over, back and forth, but with my remaining strength and remembering what I had to do, I was able to balance myself and recover.
"HAAH!"
"Aagh...!"
I panted and slowly lifted my head up to see something I did not expect.
"HAAH!"
"G-Gridman...?"
Gridman was on top of the other Gridman, repeatedly beating him with his fists, each blow getting stronger and stronger.
"HAAH!" Gridman punches him in the face again.
"Aagh..."
The other Gridman had a brutally beaten face; the rest of his body was injured, and the colors of his eyes were merely gone.
"Gridman!" I shouted.
He looked up from the other Gridman and looked at me. "Gridknight..."
I panted and I stared at him. "What...are you doing...?"
"..."
"You...you're going to kill him..."
"They killed Rikka and everybody else...!" Yuta said angrily.
"Gridman and Yuta deserve to die."
I stared at them, then clenched my fists. "No. I won't let you kill him..."
"Hm...?"
I walked forward. "I won't let you become murderers. I won't let you become monsters!"
"Knight..."
I took another step. "You always fought for the lives of innocent people. You always fought for your friends. Not once did you ever fight for revenge or anger!"
"..."
"Yamero, Gridman, Hibiki Yuta. You don't have to fight anymore."
"We..."
"Think about Rikka and Utsumi; Max and the others. They wouldn't want you to do this."
"..."
"Hahahaha..."
"...!"
Gridman slowly turned his head. "You have the power to end me, and yet...you hesitate because of your friends."
"You...!"
"I wonder...will you be able to kill me once I kill all your friends...?"
"HMPH!" Gridman punched him in the face.
"You won't lay a finger on any of them!" Yuta shouted.
"Yamero! You don't need to kill him!"
"DAMARE!!!"
Their shout echoed throughout Tsutsujidai, creating powerful shockwaves, knocking me back.
"Ggh...!" Am I too late...?

The door opened and we looked to see Nidaime with Yomogi and the others.
"Oh my god!"
"Yomogi!"
They gently placed him on the couch and Nidaime immediately pulled out her Live Baton. She placed a capsule into it, then immediately placed the Live Baton near his wounds.
"Aagh...!"
"Yomogi..." Yume said mournfully with tears in her eyes.
Rex went over to him. "Oi oi, Yomogi, you're going to be alright..."
"Aagh-..." Yomogi coughed up blood.
"At this rate...he'll-"
"No!" Yume shouted. "No, don't you dare say that!"
"Gomen, Yume-san, but it's the truth. Even with my Live Baton, I can't fully heal his wounds."
Nidaime pulled her Live Baton out and grunted. "If only mine worked..."
"Then how can we save him?!"
We were all quiet for a moment, then I thought of something. "Gridman! We can use his Fixer Beam! It's powerful enough to heal him!"
"That's right! If we can get Gridman to use the Fixer Beam, then he'll be fine!"
"Gomen, but I don't think that's a good idea."
"Eh? Why not?"
"With the way they are, I doubt they would comply. They're fighting Gridman; they won't stop until he's dead." She looked at Gridknight outside. "Even Knight-kun's failed to stop him..."
"But Yomogi's dying! Surely they'll understand that!"
She frowned even more and looked back at Yomogi. "If you want their help, then you'll have to fix their broken hearts first. Especially Hibiki-kun's..."
"Their...'broken hearts'...? W-What do you mean?"
"Normally, they wouldn't get angry or violent, but after all that's happened, they changed." She looked at me. "Do you know why that is?"
"..."
"It's because of what their other selves did...and...it's because of your breakup that Hibiki-kun's hurt."
"...!"
I was shocked by what she said and thought about it in my head.
Uso...the reason they're like that...the reason Yuta's like that...it's because of me...?
"Matte! Are you trying to blame my daughter?!" Ms. Takarada shouted.
"No, I'm not ma'am. I'm just telling the truth."
"You..."
"Unless you can change their heart, they won't help Yomogi. In fact...I'd say they're far too gone now..."
There was a brief pause and it was silent.
"No," said Nidaime. "No way you just said that."
"It's the truth."
"It may be true for you, but not for us! We can't just give up on them, that isn't what we do!"
"..."
"Our Nidaime's right. We can't just leave them as is," said Max.
Borr, Vitt, and Calibur nodded, agreeing with them.
"Everyone..."
She clenched her hands. "All of you are making a big mistake..."
"Maybe, but if it means saving them...saving Yomogi...saving our timeline...then we'll take those chances."
There was a brief pause and it was silent.
"It was stupid of me to believe that your Gridman could stop them..."

"So...are we going to fix Junk or what?" said Utsumi.
"R-Right. I'll get on it." said Calibur.
Knight
"HMPH! HMPH! HMPH!"
"Gridman, yamero! This isn't you!"
Gridman punches him one more time, then glares at me. "Damare..."
"Nani...?"
When I looked into his eyes, I saw it change color for a brief second and immediately changed back to yellow.
It can't be. That other Gridman is actually turning him...
Gridman chuckled. "Is that all...?"
"HAAH!" Gridman punched him again.
Yuta
"HAAH! HAAH!"
Die...JUST DIE ALREADY!!!
"...ta!"
We stopped ourselves. "Huh...?"
"Yu-...ta...!" Everything suddenly became clear. "Yuta!"
"...!" I calmed down and we unclenched our fists. "R-Rikka...?"
"C-Can you hear us, Gridman?"
"Yeah, we can hear you."
Gridman slowly turned his head and looked at us. "So...you can hear them again..." He chuckled. "How precious..."
"Tch...!"
"Yuta, yamero! You don't need to fight anymore! You don't need to kill him!"
"Rikka...but...he killed you...and everyone else..."
"Yeah...I know...but that doesn't mean you should go around killing people too! Not even him..."
"..."
"Yuta," said Utsumi. "I don't how you feel right now, but I guess you're feeling down and angry."
"Utsumi..."
"I understand why you want to kill him, I kind of understand why Gridman wants to, but what you're doing is no better than what they did."
"..."
"They're right...Hibiki Yuta..."
"Knight..."
"Remember what I told you before. You're better; you are not him."
"Don't let him depict who you are or who you may become"
There was a brief pause and it was silent.
"Doshita...? Not going to kill me anymore...?"
We grunted and clenched our fists; we felt a surge of anger rising from within us and our head beeped.
"Onegai...Yuta..."
"..." We grunted again, then raised our fist up. "HAAH!" We punched the ground near his face, then we stood up and stared at Gridman.
"You're...not going to kill us...?"
"What you did was unforgivable, but if killing means turning into people like you, then no."
"..."
"We'll never become like you, nor will we ever betray our friends like the way you did."
"Leave our timeline," said Gridman. "Don't ever come back."
We turned around and slowly walked towards Gridknight.
"Gridman..."
I frowned and suddenly felt a sense of guilt inside me. If we continued...we would've-
"Gridman! Behind you!"
"Hm?" We turned around, then we were punched in the face. "Aagh!" We fell to the ground and slowly looked up.
"Y-You..."
A shadow engulfed his and the rest of his body, then in an instant, he healed his injuries and returned to normal.
"H-How...?"
"Did you really think you would've been able to kill us?" said Gridman.
"It can't be...Alexis' powers?!"
They clenched their fists and Yuta chuckled. "You were real close, Yuta. If you actually managed to kill us, you would've been able to save everyone, and...get back together with Rikka..."
"Eh?" Rikka said out of surprise.
"You..."
"Raagh!!" Goldburn dives from the skies and tackles Gridman.
"Tch..."
"Raagh!!"
"Goldburn..."
"Run, Goldburn!" Chise shouted from Junk.
"Too late for that..." Gridman dashes towards Goldburn and grabs its neck, then he slams Goldburn to the ground.
"Raagh..."
"No!"
"You...!" We tried to punch him, but he uses Goldburn's body and slams us back. "Aagh!"
"Yuta, Gridman!"
"Tch...!"
Gridman's grip becomes tighter and he chokes Goldburn. "You're this timeline's Goldburn, aren't you?" He chuckled. "And just like mine...I'll rip off your wings...!"
"Yamero!!!" Chise shouted.
"Instance...Domination!"
"GGH!" Gridman drops Goldburn to the ground and grabs his head. "W-What is this...?"
"It can't be..." We looked around and saw a figure on a building in the distance. "Shinjo-san!"
"Akane?!"

Gridman was grunting, moving around holding his head like he was in pain. I was confused and wondered what was happening, but then I felt a familiar feeling.
Uso...this...feeling...
I looked around at the remaining buildings and saw a figure standing on a rooftop that resembled her.
It can't be...Nee-san...?
Yuta
"Shinjo Akane..."
"Gridman, Hibiki-kun, Anti-kun, it's nice to see you again!" she shouted.
"Ggh...!"
She grunted. "This Gridman is strong...!"
"You...came here to help us..." I said.
"Of course! You're my friends, aren't you?"
"...Right..."
"HAAH!!!" Gridman and Yuta let out a horrific screech and a dark-red aura surrounded them. "DAMN YOU...!!!"
"Tch...!"
"Akane!" Rikka shouted from Junk.
"He's...so...strong...!"
"TCH...!" Gridman slowly turned his body and glared at Shinjo. "YOU...!"
"Ggh!"
He slowly moved his arms and charged his energy. "GRID...EXTINCTION!" He shoots a dark-red energy beam towards Shinjo and as it heads towards her, it obliterates everything in its path and kills many people.
"No!"
Knight
"Tch!" I dashed towards her and moved my arms out to shield her. "Hmph!"
"Anti-kun!"
"Gridknight!" Gridman and Yuta shouted.
"Raagh!!"
"Huh?"
Suddenly, a figure dives from the sky and comes in front of me.
"Goldburn?!"
He transforms into his Shield Form and blocks Gridman's attack. "Raagh..."
"Goldburn, yamero! If you do that, then you'll-"
He slowly turned his head and looked at me. "Raagh...!!"
"You..."
Cracks formed around Goldburn and parts of its body slowly disintegrated from the energy beam; a tear fell from Goldburn's eyes as he weakly screeched one last time.
I grunted and closed my eyes. "Gomen...Goldburn..."
Yuta
The attack ends and we look to see a path of destruction and an even more ruined Tsutsujidai.
Gridknight falls to the ground and grabs onto the soil in anger. "Ggh...!"
"No..."
"GOLDBURN!!!" Chise screamed in sadness from Junk.
"Aagh..." Akane falls to her knees and pants. "Dammit...!"
Gridman panted and the aura around him slowly disappeared. "Goldburn...what a stupid decision you made..."
We clench our fists and I grunted. "You...!"
"Matte!"
"Huh?"
"Aagh..." we heard a groan coming from Junk.
"Gridman, Yuta, we need you two to use the Fixer Beam! Yomogi's injured!"
"Injured...?"
"Onegai, Yuta, Gridman! Help save Yomogi!"
"..."
"Yuta!"
"Tch...!"
"Raagh!!" Goldburn suddenly tackles Gridman.
"Aagh!"
"Gridknight...Storm!" Gridknight shoots an energy beam at them and it hits.
"Aagh!!!"
"You two..."
"Gridman, use your Fixer Beam!"
"But Gridman..."
"We'll fight him! Just save Asanaka Yomogi!"
"..." We grunted. "Understood." We moved our arms to our chest and charged our energy. "Grid...Fixer...Beam!"
We shoot an energy beam towards the city, and as it repairs the ruined Tsutsujidai, it heals the injured as well as Yomogi.
"Aagh..."
"Yomogi!"
"Did it work?"
"Yeah! Arigatou!"
"Aagh-!" Suddenly, we had a headache and fell to one knee. "T-This is..."
"Gridman, come back! Your energy is almost depleted!"
"N-No...not yet..." We pushed ourselves up and glared at Gridman. "Not until we-"
"Just come back, you baka!" Rikka shouted.
"...!"
"Let's go back, Yuta..."
"...Right..."
Knight
Gridman disappears and now it was just us in the city.
Gridman heals himself and glares at us. "You won't be able to defeat us..."
"Maybe not...but all we needed...was some time..."
"Hm?"
"Instance...Domination!"
"GGH!"
"Now, Goldburn, get out of here!"
"Raagh!!" Goldburn flaps its wings and quickly flies away from Tsutsujidai.
I weakly smiled and as my head beeped, I slowly lost consciousness and fell to the ground.

"Ggh...!"
We clench our fists and let out a shout, freeing ourselves from her control. We panted, grunted and looked to see no one around us.
"Shinjo-san...!"
