In the heart of the woods
There's a house
Once a home full of love
Only now is it shabby shack lost in the woods
And only now is it posioned with hate and discuste
One can only wish it could be what it was
If you were to go inside
You would see adults angry and one intoxicated
Would would see the other taking the drunk one
Away from the prying eyes of children
We could still hear enough to understand
Punch's were thrown
Threats where given
He always kept us safe
You would also see a young one the age of nine
Confurting a smaller child
You would see the nine year old rush the others upstairs
You would then look around
You would see smashed plates
Chairs broken
Shattered vases
And a broken soul
That just went up the stairs
You would then finally hear a loud smack
And he would pull her out of the bathroom
He would finally yell back
And he would then leave
Leave the house so that he wouldnt cause more indirect damage
Knowing that we were safer with the monster
Then with them both truely livid
And if you where to leave this forest
You would see
That this place is not a forest
But a memory
Forever ingrained in my mind
Forever there to hunt me
Guess who I was will you?
