The alert from the front door notified Spencer of Trina's arrival. He wasted no time approaching his girlfriend and connecting his lips with hers.

The action caught her off-guard.

Spencer pulled her closer to him as her lips began reciprocating to his. "Spencer,"  Trina called out to him as she slightly pulled away. He hushed her, "We can talk after," He said in a whisper. They looked into each other's eyes — the elephant in the room faded for a moment.

A sense of finality covered the duo as they brought each other to climax. Spencer rolled from above her and they stared at one another as they played with each other's fingers.

An overwhelming feeling covered the duo as an inexplicable ambiance clouded the room.

Spencer exhaled softly as the rippling sound of Trina's phone woke him from the nap that they had taken after being intimate. He checked the time from his phone noticing that they slept until midnight. He noticed a few missed calls and texts from Esme. However, they didn't look important enough to acknowledge, so he rested his phone back to where it was.

Feathered kisses trailed down Trina's arms as she slowly stirred awake. Spencer's hand drug up her arm as she looked up at her lover, who laid a kiss on her collarbone. "What time is it?" She asked as she reached for her phone. "It's like 12:05," Spencer noted before hearing a small chuckle from his girlfriend. "We slept that long?" She asked with a laugh to which he nodded.

He held her tighter for a while until she pulled away to use the bathroom. Her phone buzzed a few more times making Spencer glance at the electronic device in curiosity. The sudden flash of Christian's name on the screen alerted him — he pounced up, reaching for the phone.

The bathroom door opened.

"What are you doing?" Trina asked as she approached him in his shirt and her undergarments. "Time to talk?" Spencer asked as he rested her phone back on the table, where it vibrated once more. Trina picked it up — typing away at the screen before resting the device back at it's location.

"I don't know where to start," Trina whispered as she sat beside Spencer. "We can start with your attachment to this guy," Spencer unintentionally approached very coldly. Trina rolled her eyes before looking away, "Haven't we already?" Trina mumbled as her phone vibrated again. Spencer catches his rival's name decorating her screen again.

His eyes traveled from the phone to her.

"You know what, yeah. Let's talk about this," She turned to him as she flipped her phone from his view. "You accused me of liking Christian, so you first," She pointed at him before adjusting her position on the bed. "Am I wrong?" He asked, their eye contact lethal at the statement — He frowned at the gulp from Trina.

"Put yourself in my shoes, how would you feel if I kept entertaining someone who likes me while in a relationship," He spoke as he adjusted his seating position as well.

"You're already doing that," She pointed out blankly, "Pardon?" Spencer raised his eyebrows — taken aback.

"My sons, you've summoned me this late for what reason?" James entered his son's shared organization in casual attire. Christian placed his phone in his pocket as Christopher's lips parted to speak, but he sealed them as the repeated click-clacks of stilettos flew through the halls.

Christopher smacked his lips at the sight of his and Christian's mother entering the room. "Why is she here?" Christopher asked. James shot a glare at his elder son,  "She's my wife, and your mother" James stated the obvious making the older brother roll his eyes. "So, the Gonzales brothers were the ones behind the hijack of our shipment," Christian laid a hand on his brother's shoulder as he informed his father — his mother listened.

The Gonzales family — one of the original five organizations that ran the ports in Port Charles. One that was feared among the people.

James' face twisted as he cursed. "So, they sold our shit to us...gaining double profit," James summarized as his thoughts ran a mile per minute. They panicked and bought products from that family to meet their shipment deadline to the buyers.

"They have some of the PCPD on their payroll. We may have an informant because once the shipment arrives and begins transportation we get busted," Christian summarizes.

"They don't know that we know," Christopher commented as his temper mellowed. "Me and Christian feel like we should send a message, so we came up with a plan to make sure they remember who they persuaded to join the family," He continued, intriguing his father. "Inform me, what is my role?" The boys spoke as their mother sat to the side.

"Why scare them when we can just take them out?" Theresa inputted as she listened to the plan. The males turned to her. "I mean...that's how we typically function, why are you guys being so prudent."

"Honey, this isn't Mexico.." James proclaimed, "We don't have the police force on our side...at least right now," He continued and Theresa's red lips stretched into a smile. "Leave that to me...Let's get back to the way we used to be, yeah? I don't like when people mess with my money," She gritted as she stood and walked away.

"

Who am I entertaining?" Spencer asked with wide eyes making Trina frown. "Esme?" He asked. She rolled her eyes as she looked away. "Trina. First of all, I'm not entertaining her — I'm tolerating her, for my brother...you know this! Why is it suddenly a problem?"

"It's always been a problem!" Trina shouted. She released a short laugh, baffled at his ignorance. "Spencer, you're not this dense. Can't you see the problem? You are living with your ex-girlfriend — who you suddenly seem to have softened to! Raising a baby that's not yours. I understand he's your brother and you are clinging to that purity that he has but I am suffering because of it." Her voice cracked as she pushed out her words.

"Trina, you never told me that you felt disturbed!" Spencer spoke quickly, slightly interrupting her as he reached for her.

"Do I have to tell you everything?!" She jerked away. Her volume rose as her temper did. "Then you accuse me of having feelings for Christian! Can you blame me if I do?!"

Everything stopped.

"What?" Spencer stated as he blinked at her. Her lips parted then shut. "So you confirm that you like that guy," He asked. Trina felt the block of ice that quickly grew between them — it was too late to recant. "Isn't that what you wanted to hear?" Her voice came out in a cracking quiver. Spencer shook his head as he stood up.

"You're upset at me about Esme...granted! I understand — I can fix that. But, you went and caught feelings for another guy! Instead of coming to me to work this out!" Spencer's words came out loud and rapidly. "No! Spencer, it did not happen that way! I would never do that! It just happened! And the Esme and Ace topic, I felt like I couldn't come to you. That would've been selfish!" Trina tried controlling the tremble in her voice as she stood and followed Spencer.

He leaned against the wall, his forehead pressing against the timber frames as his fist held him steady.

"You know what, I get it...I get it, it's the hero complex. He saved you and it's all these different emotions," He suddenly spoke as he pushed himself from the wall. He looked at Trina, who shook her head, "I guess it's part of the reason," She whispered.

She saw her lover's heartbreak in real time and she cried.

"Trina...I don't believe any of this is happening right now," His voice softened making her cry harder. She exhaled, "Neither do I," Her words came out hoarsely. "Why?" He asked. His glossy gaze became dry as he began withholding his emotions the way he's known to do. "Like you said, it's just everything that's happening. I admit I found him attractive — he was always there when you were caught up with Esme and Ace. When I wanted you, he was there instead." Trina sniffled as she confessed her emotions.

"Then after the shooting...." Her voice dragged off. "You were just gone for him...down bad as they say," Spencer spat in disdain finishing her sentence. Trina looked up, their three-feet distance felt like a mile. "No, I'm that way for you and you only," She combats.

Spencer scoffed.

"Right..." He dragged his word before continuing. "I told you, Trina. I told you to keep your distance and you refused! You want him just as much as he wants you so don't give me that crap," Spencer voiced as he left his position to pick up his phone. He released a breath as he held himself up against a dresser.

He pulled out some clothes before heading into the connected bathroom where Trina heard the shower running. She sat on the bed, pulling her knees to her chest as she silently cried.

She missed the moment he left the bathroom. He stared at her as she cried in the fetal position. She sat up quickly as she realized the shower stopped, and her eyes immediately met her lover's. "I'm going to sleep in the other room, tonight. I'll take you home in the morning," He told her softly as the shower calmed him.

"No, come...let's fix this, please?" Trina pat the space beside her. Spencer felt a tug at his chest as he forced himself to stay stationary. He shook his head, "Not now, I just want to be alone right now,"

"Spencer," She whispered.

"Goodnight Trina,"  He left their shared room to enter another where he mimicked Trina and spent a sleepless night in tears.
