Alex P.o.V
The twins, Lukas and Jada, are a little bit older than one month now. I wouldn't say it's been hard, but it hasn't been easy. I have had so much help from everyone, especially Liam, Hayden's brother.
Liam comes over at 8 practically every morning, and spends the morning with the twins so Hayden and I can get more sleep. I told him he didn't have to do, but he insisted. Over the past month I have really gotten to know Liam. He is such an amazing kid. He's told me many stories, and I amazed how happy he is even after all his horrible struggles.
Although, this morning I woke up in my bed alone, Hayden claims my bed as his now. I heard bursts of loud laughter coming from the nursery, so I walk in there. I see Liam holding Lukas and Hayden holding Jada. I took Lukas from Hayden's arms and then sat on his lap.
"So what are you two talking about?" I ask, but staring at my baby boy.
"Nothing." They both respond quickly with straight faces.
"Really?" I look at both of them, and then they just burst out in laughter, and Jada in Liam's arm started giggling also. She's just way too cute.
"Nevermind. I don't even want to know. So anyway Liam, when do you have to go back to England?"
"Next week. A few days after graduation. We're going to be there for two weeks, because I need my final exam thingy and I have to pack up, and say goodbye to some people."
Hayden cut in, "but he won't be alone. Me, you and the twins are taking a little vacation to England also. My dad told me it's my graduation present."
"Yes. I'm so excited but wait, speaking about graduation, why aren't you at school?"
"There's three days left until graduation. You really think that there are any seniors at school?"
"Yes. The ones wanting to say goodbye to all their friends and teachers."
"Well those are nerdy people. And I have had survived the past four years in that hellhole I don't need any more days than I need to."
"Hey, watch your mouth. You are going to corrupt our kids."
"Wow, you guys fight like an old married couple." Liam cut in laughing. "I think I'm going to steal Jada from you. She is absolutely the most cutest thing ever in this world." He says staring at her with admiration. I just smile at him and soon Cody walks into the room.
"How are my favorite God babies?" He asks tickling Jada stomach.
"Here. You can take her. I'm going to get something to eat. I'm starving." He handed the baby to Cody, then Cody sat down and Liam left.
"I really love Liam, he's a great kid." Cody said.
"Yeah. I've missed him. I'm just glad he's better, he went lived some really tough times that no boy should go through." Hayden talked while staring down at Lukas.
"Hate to kill this depressing mood, but let's go do something fun." I said breaking the silence. What could we do? "Isn't the fair in town this week?"
"Yeah, I think so. I believe Dallas is working it. Let's go. It'll bring fun." Cody told us, I looked at Hayden to see what he thought. He just had a grumpy look on his face.
"C'mon Mr. Grumpy Pants, we're going. Come dress Lukas, I'll dress Jada. Cody hand me my daughter." I said jokingly, Cody handed me Jada, and then he left shutting the door behind him. I put Jada in her crib, and Hayden put Lukas in his.
Hayden walked towards me and put his arms around my waist, "You look incredibly sexy this fine morning." He whispered in my ear and then started kissing my neck.
"Hayden, the kids are right next to us."
"Babe, calm down they can't see us, and I really want to make out with my gorgeous fiancé." He kissed my lips, and I responded by kissing him back.
Well you could say things got a little out of hand because Hayden and I ended up on the chair, me straddling him, and both of us shirtless. I got off of him and put my shirt back on.
"Are we bad parents?" I laugh
"Why do you say that?"
"Because if I didn't stop us we could have just had sex."
"Everyone has their own needs." He says and smirks, I jokingly smack him on his head.
"Come on, let's get ready. I'll dress Jada, you dress Lukas. Make sure he matches. We're are going out in public." I can't believe how bad Hayden is at dressing the kids. He thinks a orange shirt matches with bright yellow shorts. I don't know how he survives.
I dressed Jada in a purple shirt and a skirt that had pink and purple polka dots. Hayden put Lukas in orange shorts with a blue shirt that had some orange design on it or something. He actually sorta matched. As for me I put on short jean shorts and a teal colored floral shirt that was a little bit big on me, I didn't want something so skintight yet since I haven't lost all my baby weight yet.
I packed a bag the diaper bag, and Cody came up and grabbed it for me and took it down stairs while Hayden and I took the twins downstairs in the elevator to the garage. We put the kids in their car seats and made sure they were locked in tight, so that they were safe.
While I was waiting for Cody and Hayden to finish getting ready I called Sophie to see if she wanted to come. I doubt she would though since her due date was right around the corner.
"Hey Sophie you wanna come to the fair with us?"
"Shut the hell up."
"Excuse me? I didn't means to say anything wrong." I laughed to myself.
"I'm sorry. I'm just really irritated. My dad keeps trying to get me to do some pregnancy exercises or whatever. And I don't want to do them, I can hardly move. I don't know how you did it with twins, I can't even do it with one."
"It's all worth it in the end. Just hang in there. You are almost done."
"Love you Alex. I'll talk to you later. Bye." And she hung up the phone.
"Bye Soph. Nice talking to you." I said to myself.
I turn on some music and get on Twitter while I wait for Cody and Hayden. I was kinda surprised on how many people had congratulated me on the babies, including a lot of people from my school. I look back at the twins, Lukas is sleeping, as always. And Jada is looking at her toes giggling. The doctors said babies that have lung mucous build up are sick for awhile but Jada is perfect and healthy.
Hayden was putting the bags and double stroller in the trunk of the car. When he was done he got in the driver's seat, buckled himself in and drive out of the garage.
"Where's Cody? I thought he was coming." I ask.
"He said he's going to meet us there later. He had to stop at the store for something Derek needed." I nodded my head and we just sat in a comfortable silence and Hayden spoke again, "I'm just really glad he met someone that makes him really happy."
"Me too. I've known Cody for less than a year, but he's been the best brother I've ever had. He was the second person to know that I was pregnant. He helped me so much." I'm happy that he's happy. I was smiling to myself and then Hayden let out a little chuckle. "What?" I ask.
"When you told me I was going to be a dad. I remembered you fainted. That felt like forever ago. And now I'm glad that I can say I love you and our beautiful babies."
"I love you and our beautiful babies too, so much." Hayden put his hand on my leg and and I got tingles from his touch and butterflies in my stomach. I actually love how he can make me feel like this.
We continued driving to the fair being goofy. We were horribly singing to music, Jada was giggling at us, and Lukas stayed asleep the whole time. We pulled into the fairgrounds and found a place to park. Once we did we got the babies out of the car and set up the double stroller.
As we were walking in the gates two people that Hayden and I were both familiar with were holding hands.
Brittnay and Liliy. School bullies.
We made eye contact and instantly grief and regret washed over their faces. They quickly ran over to us, frantically speaking.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry for everything thing that we've done."
"Your babies are so cute. Congrats."
But all I heard was blah blah blah.
"I don't understand what's going on?" Hayden says just as confused as me.
Brittnay started talking, "Well after you guys saw us in Michigan, we realized that you guys are happy together, and we wanted something like that, I mean minus the baby. You guys are perfect together. A little while ago we came out to our parents and family, and just started rolling out from there. And since we are graduating next week Liliy and I wanted to start a new life out together."
"You guys have no idea how incredibly bad I feel. We treated you horrible. I called you a slut when in reality I'm the slut and I'm trying to change. I'm not going to be doing any of that anymore. I realized it was time for me to grow up." Liliy added. "I know you guys should never forgive us, but I just needed to get that off my chest. Again I'm sorry."
I didn't really know what to say, I felt like I definitely grew up after having my babies. And I know all of us just want to move on from high school, even though I still have one more year, I said something I never thought I would.
"I forgive both of you, it's now something of the past. Go graduate and live your lives." And Hayden smiled at me and I smiled back. Both girls ran to me and hugged me practically crying thank you. Just being nice I awkwardly hugged them back. After a few moments they pulled away said sorry again and they left.
"What just happened?" Hayden asked looking still confused.
"I forgave them?" I said more in a question, did I really do that?
"I love you Alexandria Jane Mason." He kissed me.
"I love you too Hayden Paul James." I heard Jada and Lukas cry out, and I got close to them. "I also love you Lukas Taylor James, and you too Jada Chloe James."
"Our happy little family." Hayden says, "now let's go have some fun."
One thing that I like about not being pregnant is that I can walk like a normal human being, without needing to waddle and looking like a bloated penguin.
And we walked everywhere, all over the fairgrounds, all day. Dallas joined us halfway through the day after he got done with his shift, but he and Cody left to go do something and they said they meet up with us later during the night.
The sun was starting to set and people were starting to make their way over to the hill where the fair people were going to be putting on a huge firework show. Hayden and I found a spot on the hill and took the babies out of the stroller and played with them for awhile and then Dallas and Cody came up and sat with us.
It was getting really dark now and I thought the fireworks were about to go off soon. And I was right, I looked over at Cody and Dallas, Dallas whispered something in Cody's ear and a few seconds later they were kissing. I felt like a creep watching, but you could tell that the kiss was gentle and passionate. They pulled away and Cody blushed and smiled. It makes me happy that he's happy.
Some time later the sound of fireworks starting going off, but it was a good thing that they weren't that loud or else they would have hurt the twins ears. I cuddled up to Hayden while I was holding a sleeping Lukas and he was holding a very excited Jada.
I must've fell asleep because I noticed that Cody was taking Lukas from my arms and putting him back in the stroller. Hayden was also sleeping with a sleeping Jada in his arms. I stood up and became more alert to my surroundings and practically everyone was gone.
"I didn't have the heart to wake you all. You guys looked super cute together." Cody said.
"You're such a goon Cody. Anyway what time is it?"
He looked at his watch, "uhh, it 11:30 pm."
"Cody! You should've woken us up!" I said laughing. "Now we got to get these two up." I grabbed Jada and put her in the stroller while she was still sleeping. I was going to tease Hayden to wake him up, since I am such a devil. I cuddled up next to him, and he must have felt me because he rolled over and grabbed me and pulled me closer to him. I whispered Hayden seductively in his ear and kissed his neck. Well that woke him up, because he responded instantly by kissing back.
I laughed and jumped from his grasp. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"What just happened?" He said in very husky voice.
"We have to get home. It's 11:30."
"Where are the twins?" He jumped up and kinda started freaking out.
"Calm down macho daddy. They are in the stroller. Which is right next to me." I chuckled and pointed to my side.
"Okay good. Now let's get home before I fall asleep again."
Cody but in, "I'm going to drive you guys home. You're not in awake enough to drive."
We agreed and started walking to the cars. Cody was driving us, Dallas was driving Cody's car and he was leaving his here over night since he still has to come here tomorrow.
I fell asleep again and felt my body being picked up, but I could it was Hayden's arms, while he walked up the stairs.
"Wait, what about the babies?" I asked.
"Cody is going to put them to bed. He knows what to do. Now just go back to sleep." And he continued carrying me up the stairs until I got to the bedroom and he put me on the bed, I took off my shirt and shorts, as did Hayden, but I took his shirt and put it on. I then cuddled up with my blankets and then soon Hayden came up and grabbed me from behind and he fell asleep, I did too a few seconds later.
A few days later.
"We stand here today on the precipice of the future. It's not a distant reality anymore. It begins here. It begins today.
We began high school as children, but we're leaving here as adults. We've completed a basic education that will serve as the platform we use to launch ourselves into our futures. Some of us will go on to college, others will go straight into the workforce, but each of us will travel our own path.
No matter where we go or what we do, there are challenges ahead of us. What I'm asking from each of you, and from myself, is to meet those challenges straight on with your head held high and your heart wide open. It's not enough to simply try to get by in life. That doesn't move the world forward. You must try to excel in everything you do; strive for excellence in every task, large or small.
Although it may not be easy to see, every accomplishment you achieve is added to the world's accomplishments. Your individual successes benefit society as a whole because when you succeed, you lighten the burden on your fellow man. When you succeed, you are in a position to give rather than take.
Imagine if every individual lived up to his or her own potential. Think about how amazing that would be, and how much better off the world would be. Now imagine if just half of those individuals lived up to their potential. The world would still be an awesome place. If even 1/4 of those individuals worked to make their lives successful, they could still make some amazing contributions to society.
Well, we may not have the power to inspire the entire world to strive for success, but we do have the power to try to achieve it for ourselves. My challenge to each of you, and to myself, is to do all that you can do to reach your full potential. If each of the 200 students in this graduating class is able to do that, just imagine the effect that would have. The future is truly in our hands, so let's make the most of it.
Thank you." The valedictorian spoke. Of course I was crying, and if you couldn't guess it, tray is the day. Graduation day. Hayden is finally graduating.
There was a couple other guest speakers and then the principal started calling names.

"Bianca Lyssa Jackson." Mr. Walke said and Bianca walked up to get her diploma.
"I am going to Colorado university in the fall to become a doctor." And the audience clapped.
"Hayden Paul James." Mr. Walke announced.
"I am attending Florida state university in the fall on a football scholarship, and I am still undecided on what I am going to study." And he smiled got his diploma and sat with the rest of his class. As he was looking in the crowd we made eye contact. And he mouthed,
"I love you."
"I love you more." I mouthed back, and he just smiled.
I would have never believed that I would be 17 and have twins with the player aka the love of my life.

A/N:
AND THAT'S IT FOLKS. It's all over.
But Alex and Hayden's journey is just beginning..in the SEQUEL.
Although the sequel won't be posted for a while because I realized that this book needs MAJOR editing.
I also have another idea for a book that I sorta started, but whatever. Who knows what will happen.
I know that there are many things that are left unanswered...so that is why I am going to have Q&A.
Some will be answered in the sequel, but for now you can put your question about ANYTHING in the comment section or inbox me.
Whatever works for you is best!
I can't believe that I very roughly completed my first book. Thanks to the help of every single one of you. I could have never continued without you guys.
I got the graduation speech from teens.lovetoknow.com from sample speeches.
This is it. Bye everyone. *waves & wipes tears*
