A perrywinkle eyed boy woke up to the sun peeking through the blinds of Luke's bedroom.
After the two had finished their date,the boy offered if he wanted to go to his house,for a Drink and extra chat, Zander agreed,and that's what they did until..until Zander bluntly told Luke to Kiss him,and one thing led to another and..
The boy felt a tap on his shoulder,he turned around to see his date smiling at him.
Zander laughed and simply said. "Hi" and went in for a peck on the lips,the other gladly accepted and after it was done,Luke lingered near and replied, "hey". The boy sat up and looked at Zander,who in return gave a confused look. "You ok?, you were very tired after,yeah" he asked.
His face turned red as he said it. The shorter boys did the same,recalling the night,it was amazing,one of the best nights in Zanders opinion,he just hoped it was the same for Luke. And now to top it all of he's asking if he's ok?. My oh my.
"I think so" he replied,also sitting up
"That's good" the boy sighed,burying his head into the his sweatshirt Zander was wearing
Zander didn't really want to sleep in no shirt,even with his ex,Mike he never went unclothed,Mike thought it was weird, but after he told Luke,he just tossed him a sweatshirt from the end of his bed,he didn't even have to explain.
"Do you feel ok? You were tired after.." his lips curled into a small smile near the end of his sentence. Which spread to Zanders face.
"I'm ok,I think" he said,leaning his head onto the headboard,looking at the ceiling.
"That's good,sorry if you ache afterwards" he said,looking up to the boy.
"It's ok,if I do,the night made up for it" he joked.
Luke laughed and the two sat in eachother's presence. A silence overtook the room,not an awkward one that usually occurred after these dates,just a silence,a silence the two were ok with.
After a few moments,the purple eyed boy spoke,making the other jump slightly.
"Did you enjoy it?" He said quietly
"Hm?" The man said ,looking up
"Did you enjoy last night? With me?"
Zander waited for the awkward silence that ussally followed..it was going to be bad,he only wanted that night like all the others , he—
"Yes,very much so"
"Oh— wait,you did?" He asked
"Of course,I think what I said last night confirmed that" he laughed,grabbing Zanders hand.
"Oh, well..thank you,this never happens! Ha!" He said,smiling.
"How about you?" Luke asked,staring to the side.
Luke never got an answer from Stacy,she ussally ignored him after they were intimate with eachother,go on her phone , message other people or go to sleep. He too also anticipated silence and a change of subject,but no a reply was given.
"Very much so,you were very very good" he smiled.
Luke smiled,the two both relieved as they both majorly enjoyed eachothers company and the other.
They sat together for a while,just soaking up eachothers company. Zander wrapped one arm round Luke's torso and luke stayed where he was,in Zanders arms. He was getting more affection in this date than his whole relationship with Stacy,and he loved it,he never really knew how fond of affection he was until Stacy stopped , showing less and less to the auburn haired boy near the last few years of there relationship.
After a while of just sitting , The purple eyed boy l realised he was meant to meet up with the club at about half ten,he looked at his wrist to be greeted with...no watch,he didn't put one on? Odd of him.
"You know the time?" The pianist asked
Luke picked up his phone and tapped the Home Screen. "Uh just after ten" he said.
"TEN? SH**!" He said,eyes wide.
Luke,took aback,flinched,a confused look on his face.
"What? What?" He said,raking his hand through his auburn hair,shifting from the boy.
"I'm meant to meet some people at a place at 10:30! And then if I'm late they'll be like 'OoOOoOoo ZANDERS DATE WENT WELL' and then I'll never hear the end of it!"
He said,getting up frantically.
"Woah,a lot of info to take in in the span of like,5 seconds" he said,putting his hand over his face,rubbing his eyes. "Where's the place?" he asked,taking out his phone,opening safari.
"It's in town near prim' he said" getting his clothes off of the floor,bundling them into his arms,with his bag on his shoulder.
"I can drive you" he smiled,sitting up
"Are you sure? I can get an Uber,I'll be ready in like,20 minutes,I can order one,my phones still charg—"
"No. I'll drive you,I need to go to Aldi anyway." he said,getting up and going to his wardrobe. his bare chest to the back of Zander .
"Are you sure? I'll feel awful" he sighed,leaning on the wall of his room.
"No,I need to go out,you'll be doing me a favour,if I don't pick up Fanta with the money Mika gave me,I might get killed." He laughed.
While opening his wardrobe,he added to his previous note. "Oh and bathroom is to the left as soon as you walk out my door,if you wanna get ready in there,I'm easy" he said,picking out a jumper to wear.
"Oh! Ok thanks!" He said,opening the door.
"Wait,he paused,hand in the handle. "Aren't your mates here?" He asked.
He shook his head no. "Mika is with family,and Lucy belled me saying she ended up staying at her boyfriends,so your free to like,get changed in there without people goo-goo eyeing you" he laughed
"Oh! Loveley!"he said as he walked into the bathroom,still locking the door just in case.
As the boy got changed he felt happy,this was the healthiest date he ever had from the dating pit of match. Even if it only lasted for this,he's been treating him better than anyone else from here,ever. ,he looked in the mirror and spotted two very in-the-spotlight hickeys in the middle and on the side of his neck. Crap. He would get absolutely torn to shreds about this if the club saw these. The purple eyed man dug in his bag for concealer,and found none. Great. He tried to make his hair cover it,being as it was to his neck,and he succeeded...ish,the one on the side of his neck covered,but,the larger,more dark one was still slightly visible,being as it was nearer the middle of his neck,oh well!
He put what little makeup he has in his bag on. Mascara. No blush,no lipstick or tint!? It will have to do,and got out of the bathroom.
He walked out of the bathroom to see a rushed Luke searching for something in his bedside table drawer.
"You good?" The boy asked,sitting on the bed which Luke had made while Zander was getting ready.
"Yeah,I just, ah!" He said,taking out a blue and white box,sitting on the bed next to his date and opening it, only to be greeted with an empty box. The boy sighed and threw the box in the bin on the opposite side of the room.
"What was that,and why are you so depressed over an empty box?" The purple eyed boy smirked,it was quite funny to him.
"Contacts,I ran out yesterday and forgot to buy some on the way back from when I was out." He said getting up ,moving to his desk,opening a drawer and taking lit a glasses case.
"Now I'm gonna have to wear my glasses. They only come out once in a blue moon for one of two reasons: when I go to dinner with my aunt,or when I run out of contacts" he joked,putting them on.
"Ah I see— what are you on about! They look really nice!" The boy said,looking at the thin rimmed rounded glasses the man has put on, they were a pale gold,which highlighted his daffodil coloured eyes.
"I know they're Ho— oh! Thanks!" He smiled. He picked up his phone and read the time. "Not to rush you out,,but 20 past and I know you don't wanna be late,wanna go?" He asked,grabbing a bag,presumably to put shopping in.
"Yeah,thanks for driving me,you really don't have to" , he smiled,waiting by the door for the boy to unlock it. "No! It's a pleasure,stop feeling bad!" He reassured the man as he opened the door and clicked his car open with the keys (a/n : luke has a cream coloured mini with a Yankee candle air freshener and tiny fuzzy dice and no one else can tell me otherwise)
As the two drove with the low hun of Luke's playlist playing,Zander couldn't help but have a smile tug at him the whole time. It's the most he's smiled in a while.the two chatted about their plans for the rest of the day and both silently hoped the other would message when they were home.
After about five minutes,Zanders phone started to buzz. He looked at the iD,Haley. "Sorry,sister probably having a mini crisis,Give me a moment"
Luke smiled and adjusted his glance back to the road.
"Hi! He said,rather happily.
"Your happy" Haley teased over the phone in the cafe.
"Yeah? And what?" He asked,smiling, "anyway" he stopped the conversation early so it would direct to the subject of his date as he felt bad talking about him when he was right next to him.
"What you need me for?" He asked,looking out the window. Luke smiled at his stubborn and candid nature.
"Your the only one there?" He laughed, "you probably look so stupid,where's Jake,I thought he'd come with you"
"He wanted to have a shower,and you know how long he takes" the girl on the other end rolled her eyes.
"Fair" the boy replied. "I'm nearly there,though,so you can be saved from loneliness" he smirked as he said this. "There is a bit of traffic where I am though,he said,looking ahead,in-front of them."
"Traffic?" Sje saod,confused , "I thought you'd have took the train,being as your still looking for cars.."
Being as the two were next to each-other,Luke could hear bits of the conversation so he looked over and smiled,as Zander glanced over smiling too,both of them knowing why he was in a car. It took Haley a moment before the dark haired boy heard a gasp on the other end of the phone and a loud whisper of. "DID YOU GET DI—"
Zander turned red and immediately cute her off, "WOAH— HES—I'M- I'm just— no? What!? That's crazy? I have an UBER" he blurted out as soon as he could.
"Mhm ok then—oh Milly and Sean are here now I'm leaving you now bye idiot!" Sje said
"YOU CANT JUST SAY— whatever bye!" He said as he hung up and leant his head on the dashboard in front of him and groaned. Luke was laughing a little bit,and looked over when they hit a red light.
"That's Haley! He said,embarrassed. "What if an Uber driver actually heard that?!" He whined,leaning back onto his chair,looking over.
"She wasn't wrong" he said,holding back laughs.
"SHUT UP!" He yelled as the two erupted into laughter.

They got to the cafe and Luke stopped by the front,half on the pavement.
"Thanks for dropping me of and for a loveley date, hopefully I'll see you again?" Zander asked crossing his fingers,looking at the man across from him.
"Of course" he smiled , "and I'll message you my number on the dating app after as it's really easier to message on something like messages or snap. He carried on.
"Oh ok alright! yes!, s-see you soon, I'll message you tonight !" Zander said looking the happiest he's ever been.
The showered of the two got put,taking his bag and shutting the passenger door. He waved as he walked in,the two of them feeling practically dizzy.
As soon as Zander walked in Milly Sean ,and Haley's eyes were on him.
"A hello hi would be nice!" He rolled his eyes,and as of on queue,Jake stumbled in,sitting next to Haley, "alright Haley,I'm here! Did I miss Zanders date? Did he come in?" Zander stared daggers at a sheepish haley,who nervously laughed.
"You told everyone?!" He said,annoyed.
"What!no! Just Jake,then Jake just now told everyone"
"So? Did you stay the night?" Milly teased,raising her eyebrows at Zander.
"No! No actually,I went home after,and that was an Uber." He said as calmly as possible,and it would have convinced Milly and Sean if Jake hadn't piped up. "Oh please!" The blonde laughed.
"1. Creased shirt,usually you would never set foot outside with creased everything, ergo,it was on the floor. 2. You are unusually happy,which is weird. 3. Someone forgot to pack makeup because uSally you have some from of lip tint or gloss on them ,which leads me to point 4. No concealer for that mark riiight there!" He said,pointing in his neck where Zanders hickey was.
Zander groaned and admitted defeat "fine,yes,I stayed the night and I'm now understanding why you arranged our club coffee brunch today." he sighed in defeat
Zander got his coffee he knew that all today would be about was him and his date with one of the kindest men ever
He wasn't mad about it he loved talking about Luke,this was the start of something,he just knew.
