"Leo! Behind you!" Y/n shouts, throwing their tessen, striking some of the vines. The rest of the group jumped into action attacking the Krang vines.
"I knew this was a bad idea!" Donnie shouted to Leo.
"Leo, there's too many! We should go back!" Mikey said, stumbling back slightly as he struck out at the vines.
"No! We're going to get to those stairs!" Leo declared, slicing through the vines, trying to push forward.
"Leo, we're not gonna make it! We have to turn back!" Donnie called out.
"We push forward, get Raph, that's final." Leo ordered, striking down more vines. Y/n drew their tanto blade, striking down a vine, but one managed to grab their legs, jerking their ankles backwards, making them fall forwards. Luckily they immediately put their hands out in front of them, so their face wasn't slammed into the concrete.
"My legs! It's got my legs!!" Y/n screamed, the vines dragging them across the concrete, scraping against their skin and they thrashed about.
"Y/n!" Donnie and Leo turned towards them. Donnie immediately rushed towards them, a mechanical spider arm coming out of his battle shell with a pair of scissors. Leo was attacked by more Krang vines, slashing them away with his swords, in a bit more of a panicked fashion than before, as he tried to slice the vines while watching out for Y/n.
Y/n was thrashing in the vines grip, their heart was beating at a million miles per hour, making their breath rapid and uneven. They reach a hand out towards Donnie, who quickly grabs onto their arm, pulling them towards him, the scissors of his Battle shell cutting at the vines.
Just as Donnie was able to free Y/n's legs, a large Krang vine slams down on the ground, separating Case and Leo from Donnie, Y/n, and Mikey as they quickly evade it. Donnie pulling a stumbling Y/n away from it.
A deafening roar echoes through the subway as a subway bus that was infected by the Krang rears up to attack them.
"Mystic hands!" Mikey shouts, his hands out in front of him, straining himself. But nothing happens. Y/n stumbles over as the subway shakes violently. But Donnie is able to rush over to Mikey, pushing him to the ground, taking the Krang infected subway bus's blow. Cracking and breaking his Battle Shell.
"Donnie! Mikey! Y/n!" Leo shouts, trying to reach them.
Mikey gets back up and sees Donnie's exposed shell. "Oh, no! Donnie! Your softshell, you're exposed! We gotta find shelter!"
Donnie and Mikey quickly scramble to help Y/n up and get into the Turtle Tank. A Krang Vine tries getting inside, but is severed when the Turtle Tank door closes on it, spewing a gross liquid as it explodes.
"Oh, oh, keep it down, Vomitello!" Donnie says, trying to keep himself from vomiting as the liquid slides off of him.
"Oh." Mikey says gagging, putting a fist over his mouth, turns a darker shade of green in the face.
"That is so gross!" Y/n says, covering their mouth while leaning against one of the chairs of the Turtle Tank.
"Keep it down, daddy!" Donnie says, trying to sooth himself as he shakes the goop off himself.
The Krang growth envelopes the Turtle Tank and suspends it in the air, causing everyone to stumble slightly as the Turtle Tank tilts slightly to the side, definitely not helping with the nausea
"What do we do?!" Mikey shouts, panicked, latching on to a seriously scraped up Y/n.
"Don't panic! This thing has shields right? We'll be fine!" Y/n says, trying to remain calm.
"Donnie, come in. They found us! Where should we go? Donnie?" The sound of April's voice pierced through Donnie's comm line.
"April!" Y/n cried, relieved they were okay, and, hopefully, in a position to help.
"We're trapped. We are trapped in the subway under Metro Tower. The Tank is running out of emergency power and being covered in some kind of Krang bio growth. I repeat-" A mechanical arm for the Turtle Tank grabs a nearby Battle Shell for Donnie to wear as he's talking.
"April, come quick! We're getting squished!" Mikey interrupted with a cry.
"We're on our way!" April responded, and with that the comm line went silent.
"Sigh." Donnie said as they all took a short sigh of relief, knowing that help was on the way.
After a few minutes of deafening silence, the lights inside the Turtle Tank turned red.
"Hull integrity four percent. Breach imminent. Good Luck." the Turtle Tank Ai blared over the loud speakers.
"Good. We have an imminent amount of time!" Mikey said, trying to remain positive.
"'Imminent' means 'soon', Mikey." Donnie corrected.
"Don't worry. I'll save us with my mystic hands!" Mikey extends his hands and strains, but again nothing happens, not even a spark, "Casey must have been wrong about me." Mikey says in a deflated tone, his arms dropping to his sides, defeatedly.
"I'm sure he isn't! It may be a-" Y/n began, but was cut off by the Turtle Tank shaking violently as the roof began to cave in.
"This is it, Donnie, Y/n. WE'RE GONNA GET CRUSHED!!" Mikey shouts, as they all cling to each other, all collectively screaming as tears leaked down their faces.
"Knock-Knock!" They hear April shout from outside.
"April?" Mikey and Y/n called out.
"Anyone order a rescue?" April says, and the trio hears something being thrown and shattered outside.
And after a minute the Turtle Tank drops to the ground, and the Turtle Tanks door hisses open and the three of them rush out., greeted with the sight of April, Splinter, and F/Y/n.
"April! You saved us!" Mikey cried out happily, and the three of them were brought into a hug by April and Splinter.
"Uncomfortable with emotion." Donnie muttered, receiving a pat on the back by Y/n.
"Where is Leo? And, uh, future boy?" Splinter asked.
"Casey Jr." F/Y/n corrected from a few feet away.
Mikey points to a hole in front of them "Somewhere in there." He says with a slight shudder.
Suddenly they all hear a shout from somewhere down the tunnels.
"Faster! They're this way. I can smell them!" The Krang Sister's shouts echo through the tunnels.
"She found us! We gotta move! Now!"
The gang quickly moved out, leaving the subway. As they begin to ascend a staircase they hear some familiar voices up ahead.
"Donnie, Mikey, do you read me?" Leo's voice echoes through the comms, but also sounds like it's coming from up ahead.
"Come in, Leo. Come in Leo." Donnie responds.
"Donnie, Donnie, where are you?" Leo's voice was definitely up ahead, so the group went a little faster up the stairs.
"We've extracted ourselves from the subway and are currently ascending a staircase." Donnie hangs back and the rest of the group reunites.
F/Y/n immediately checked over Casey for injuries, and made sure he was okay. Sighing with relief as they see nothing other than a couple of scratches.
"I'm getting a lot of interference, but if you hold still, I can triangulate your position using a complex geolocation algorithm." Donnie ranted.
Though Leo wasn't exactly paying attention as he and Y/n immediately hugged, practically collapsing into each other. Both releasing a long breath, squeezing each other tightly.
"Thank goodness you're okay." Y/n said quietly, but was obviously very relieved. Leo chuckled at this, but it was clear to them he felt the same.
"Uh, Donnie?" Casey began, but F/Y/n just put a hand on his shoulder and shook their head.
"Odd numbers, primes... no, almost... Almost!" Donnie said, tapping a bunch of things on his gauntlet.
"Ahem." Splinter intervened.
"Ugh. I never get to use my algorithm." Donnie sighs defeatedly. Leo pulls away from Y/n to turn to his brothers.
"Man, I am so glad you guys aren't dead." Leo said, moving towards his brothers.
"Ditto." Mikey says as Leo hugs Donnie and Mikey. Mikey smiles contently at his brother, while Donnie looks very uncomfortable and frowns slightly. After a moment Leo's happy look turns into a serious one and he lets go of them.
"Okay, before this gets too mushy, we need to locate Raph. Donnie, can you tell me if he's still in the building?" Leo asks, turning to Donnie.
"Bet your mama's subatomic particles I can." Donnie responds pridefully, activating his gauntlet, "Got him! He's close. He's almost on top of us. Wait, he is on top of us." Slime drips onto Donnie's tech gauntlet from above. They all slowly look up at the ceiling in horror and slight disgust. As they spot a cocoon hanging from the ceiling.
"Oh no..." F/Y/n mutters quietly, recognizing what the cocoon meant.
"Raph!"
"Raphael!"
"Quick, get him down! Get him out of there!" Leo shouts. Casey runs using the chainsaw on his hockey stick to sever the cocoon's supports and it splats onto the floor. April and Splinter try to claw him out, but are unable to penetrate the membrane. Leo takes out a katana and slices the cocoon open, where he helps him slide out.
"Hang on, big brother. We got you. Almost there." Leo says pulling Raph a bit away from the cocoon.
"Leo, get back." F/Y/n warns.
"Raph?" Upon waking, Raph punches Leo away, and after Donnie and Mikey try to restrain him he throws them to the ground.
Y/n helps Leo up as he clutches his head and they all look at Raph, all bewildered. Raph's right eye bulged as Krang growth burst from Raph's eye. The pink growth forms on his body and tentacles take the form of his hands, it also covers his torso and his shell as three claws burst from his left hand while the right turned into a tentacle. April, Casey, F/Y/n and Splinter get flung by the infected Raph as the Key falls from April's backpack as they fall to the floor. The infected Raph growls and lunges to retrieve the Key and The Krang emerges from the other side of the room.
"Surprise." Krang says with a grin.
"What did you do to my brother?" Mikey cried in a tearful rage.
"Improved him." Krang motion to Raph. Leo glared and growled in fury, but then the floor shook and burst open as the infected subway bus emerged alongside Krang Sister and the other Krang zombies. They surround them as the infected Raph gives the Krang the Key.
"Thank you for this. We will be putting it to good use, Come, the world awaits destruction." The Krang turns to the elevator.
The krang sister leaps from the infected subway bus to follow Krang and infected Raph. "Tear them apart!" She orders.
At that the Krang zombies charge at the group. April throws up her backpack and knocks it with her baseball bat, launching it at the zombies and coating the Krang zombies in the vials of herbicide.
"We gotta move!"
Donnie scoops up Mikey and carries him away. While April, F/Y/n, and Casey run away, Y/n grabs Leo's hand, who's still horrified to see what happened to Raph.
"Leo, move!" Y/n cries desperately.
"No!" Leo shouts, taking one last look at his infected brother before the elevator doors close behind him.
Right before the Krang zombies overwhelm them, Splinter manages to throw a smoke bomb and they all make a quick escape.
