Lucas Handler
"You could've seriously hurt him!"
"I wish I did!" My breaths are still coming in fast and the blood in my veins courses rapidly. I try to tell myself to calm down but every time I replay what just happened, my pulse skyrockets again and my fists clench. What I did to George was tame. I should've ripped the prick's tongue out.
Her eyes and cheeks still glisten as she throws her hands up in the air and starts yelling, "Lucas, I don't need protection! I don't need you to defend me! I could've handled it on my own! I don't need anyone!" Talia's words fan the flames of fury in my body.
"Fuck that! You need me!"
"No, I don't!"
"Shut the fuck up, Talia! You do!"
"No, you shut the fuck up! I d-don't!" Her voice cracks.
Lava-like heat pours over me. "You need me just like I need you!" Without another thought or word, I dart over to her and grab the back of her neck before crashing my lips onto hers. I can taste the saltiness of her tears and press my lips harder against her. I want to lap up every last drop.
She kisses me back for a brief moment, before pushing me off of her. "No! I don't need you!" she says as more tears stream down her beautiful face. And while those words leave her mouth, her body language is saying the complete opposite. She is clinging to my chest so tight it's as if she thinks I will flee.
"You do, Tal! Habibti, you do," I say much more softly. I bring my thumbs up to wipe off her cheeks, before slamming my lips back onto hers again.
This time, she doesn't resist and starts kissing me back with the same intensity I'm giving. I move quickly, feeling like a hungry wolf having finally caught my prey. If I don't move fast enough, I'll starve to death.
Sounds of our heavy breathing and rapid lips smacking together fill the air. Fire blows through me as the woman of my dreams continues to melt under my touch. My dick is already rock solid and my hands roam over her, squeezing every part I can find. Her sides, her round ass, her soft breasts.
She moans as she presses herself against me. Her hands quickly move to my length and she starts messaging it over my pants. Waves of pleasure fill me, but I catch her hand. We don't have time for foreplay. I need to have her again, to feel like she's mine and I am hers.
"Quick, bring up your skirt and spread your legs," I command while picking her up and placing her on the edge of the desk. "Are you on anything? Can I fuck you raw? I'm clean."
Talia nods hastily, "I'm clean too. And I have an IUD. Please, Lucas. I need you."
Those words fuel my body like gas in a Concorde jet. I reach in between Talia's legs, push her panties to the side, and shove two fingers between the wet and warm folds. She crumples forward as my fingers move in and out pressing against her sweet spot. The moaning against my chest coupled with the slickness of her pussy makes my body vibrate intensely. I use my other hand to pull my dick out of my pants.
She whimpers when my fingers draw out of her, but gasps sharply when I replace them with my throbbing cock.
I shudder at the intense feeling of being connected to Talia without any latex between us. "You feel fucking amazing, Tal." I move the fingers that were just inside of her up to her mouth and shove them inside. "I want you to taste yourself to see how amazing it is."
Her lips mold around my fingers and she starts sucking off the juices that are on them as I start thrusting into her. "Fuck, baby. Let me take care of you like you take care of me. I don't want anyone to hurt you. I don't want to hurt you."
Talia hums against my fingers and a pop fills the air when she pulls away. Her arms and legs cling tighter around me as I move in and out. In and out, relishing the rapid friction against me.
I grab the back of her neck and slam my mouth against hers. My tongue moves to lap up the taste of her sex residing on her tongue.
Grunts and moans fill the air as the pleasure in my body scales rapidly. "Say it again. Tell me you need me," I beg after pulling back but keep my hand tight around her nape.
"I need you, Lucas."
"Tell me you belong to me."
"I-" Her head drops against my chest. "I belong to you, Lucas."
"Good girl," I pick up the pace of my thrusts. "And I belong to you. I'm yours, Tal."
"Fuck, Lucas, keep going! I'm going to come!" Her body grows visibly tenser under me and she digs her nails into the jacket on my back sending more pulses of energy through me.
Her eyes start rolling up to the back of her head just as I reach the point of no return. I shudder and groan as I release myself into her. She clenches around me as her deep moans signal the arrival of her release.
Neither of us move. We both stay in an embrace for a moment, breathing hard. When I lean back, I search her face for any sign that will tell me how she's feeling. Sweat mattes a strand of hair to her forehead, and I move it before pulling out of her. We both groan at the sudden loss of contact.
Looking down, my eyes fix on Talia's folds, now dripping with my cum. My dick twitches again, and I quickly look back up at her. "I'm so sorry, baby. About everything." I grab her head and kiss her again. Her soft lips move over me as her body sinks deeper against me. We stay immobile for another moment while breathing hard before we start slowly cleaning up. Once we're both able to wipe off and re-dress, I break the silence. "Tell me what you're thinking," I pause before adding, "Please."
She hesitates and then faces me with a valley between her brows. "What do you want from me, Lucas?"
I gulp. I can't hold it back anymore. This is too big and too important to not say to her. And with the spoken promises from our encounter swirling through the air, it doesn't seem so out of the realm of possibility. "Talia, I want us to be together. I want all of you."
Her eyes grow wide for a fraction of a second before her head shakes. "It's not possible though."
I try to keep my nerves steady. We're chartering into a discussion that has a million possible paths. One wrong move, and I could end up in a ditch. "Do you want to be with me?"
She sighs and takes a long moment before responding. "It's too complicated. We're supposed to hate each other. This was never supposed to happen."
"I don't hate you." Gravity pulls at my voice. "That's quite the opposite of what I feel towards you."
"No, Lucas. Please, don't say it. Please, please! Don't say it." She presses her hands against my chest while furrowing her brows.
"I love you, Talia."
A gulp bobs over her neck and her chestnut eyes grow wide. I don't care about the mess we happen to be in. And I don't even care if she doesn't say it back. All I care about is letting Talia know and freeing myself from the chains of unspoken love. My thumbs move up to her brows and I try smoothing out the lines. "Tal, I don't know what that means for our careers, but I just can't go on pretending that you don't have me. I can't pretend that I'm okay with just keeping things physical because I'm not.
"I want to see your face the first moment I wake up. I want to hear your laugh every single moment. I want to see you smile, watch you dance, be there when you take care of your dance group, and see you just being you, doing all the things that you love to do in life. These past few days without you have been pure torture. I don't want to do them again. I want us to be together like a normal couple."
Talia quickly shakes her head and tears drop from her eyes, along with my heart in my chest. "We're not normal, Lucas. I can't see how we could be a normal couple if one of us has to give up their career for the other. I don't want to ask you to give up the position and I can't give it up either."
"I know, I know." I take a deep breath. She's right. We are anything but normal but we need to at least try. My heart can't take it otherwise. "All I'm asking is that we figure it out together. We don't have to rush into anything and we still have about a month left on this competition which gives us time to think things through."
The frown on her face softens, and I pull her in tighter. "We'll set some rules in place. We don't talk about work outside of work, okay?"
"What else is there to talk about?"
I crack a smile. "Plenty of things. We could talk about our families and our hobbies. I don't know, maybe about the person one of us saw running naked on the street. We'll figure it out."
Talia lets out a breath of a laugh through her nostrils before her pinched expression reappears. "I'm sorry, Lucas." She steps back and crosses her arms around herself while my stomach dips. "I-I'm so fucking scared. I've never been scared of anything in my life but this," she pauses seemingly to try and find her words, "this feels like I'm about to fall off of a moving ship in the middle of the ocean."
"I know." I step forward and hold her again. "But you just said it yourself, Tal, you belong to me. You can't deny it."
She gulps again and then nods. "What do people in relationships even do?"
I smile softly. "Well, I'd buy you things, first of all. Flowers, chocolates, jewelry." Her eyes light up and I chuckle before continuing. "We'd go out on dates, we'd cook for each other, we'd meet each other's families. I already told my mom about you, and she's excited to meet you this weekend at her Labor Day party."
"You did?" She tucks in her lips briefly before continuing. "I already met your dad and I'm not a fan."
"Look at how much we have in common already, Habibti." Talia laughs and my stomach flips. "Also, remember my mom is nothing like my dad. You'll love her."
She takes a deep breath in. "This is crazy, you know that right? I just- I don't know if I can do it, Lucas. I don't know if I can be who you need me to be."
Even though I nod, I don't get it. I'm presenting my beating, bloodied heart to her on a silver platter and it's not enough. I take a step back and she frowns instantly.
"Lucas, just give me time! Please, I just need time. I promise I'll think about what you said."
I lick my dry lips before sighing. "Sure. Fine."
"We both know what we mean when we say fine."
My face softens and the sides of my lips tug upward before I clear my throat. "I need to go talk to my staff. I suggest you do the same with yours." While I will be giving Talia time, an ache in my heart has already started to form. I need to get back to work and distract myself while I wait for the answer that I have no control over. As much as I can try to strategize and plan out how to win Talia, the ball is now in her court and I can only pray for a direct serve back to me.
