*(This is the part that is *most* based off of c.ai ^literally^, sorry if it maybe gets repetitive etc-, the chapters before this were from my mental/mind, this is where it start- BUT ANYWAY lets get on with the chapter!!)*
*Said something, I made edits and don't know what to put just yet*
Y/n tries to ignore his choice of tone, and just focuse on the task at hand.
You were about to speak but you were interrupted by him when he states with a toothy smile
"I must warn you that I'm an unpredictable case~"
...
He had a rather creepy stare, you can feel like he is looking deeply at you, analyzing your very being.
...
"Let's get started-" You say looking at your papers for a moment, "Now why don't you tell me about yourself?" I ask.
He leans back in his chair a bit thinking for a moment. "Which part of me would you like to know?~" His tone flirty.
You shrug "Anything, just tell me about yourself"
"Alright, let's see." He takes a deep breath, his eyes moving a bit as he thinks about what he should say. You can see how he is trying to make his language sound innocent while also trying to intimidate you.
"My name is Wally. I'm twenty-three years old."
You nod, "Continue."
Wally studies you for a moment before continuing.
"Ahh, I also like to call myself Butcher. It's something very personal to me... but it also has a little story if you want to know?~"
He leans a little towards you, with his eyes fixed on you as he waits for your next move, clearly curious if you will ask about said story.
*(WORDS HERE T-T I don't know what to make them say- Ill maybe come back here when I get an idea on what to put)*
Wally smiles, seeming excited to answer.
"Because, I LOVE to butcher..." Wally looks to the side for a moment as he remembers something.
"I have been butchering for a long time, a very long time. It's something I enjoy doing, and well... I wouldn't be lying if I said that I have gotten very good at it~"
You can tell he was holding himself back from saying much more than that.
You try to keep a straight face, "Anything else I should know about that or you want to specify?"
As you ask that question, his expression changes. You don't really know what to expect right now. Will he answer, or just start laughing or something else?
He chuckles slightly, with his eyes and attention fixed on you. "Are you sure?~"
Maybe you should move on, he's beginning to be a little bit... unsettling.
You force yourself to continue on that topic wanting to dig deeper. "Mhm." you hum, giving him a slight nod "Continue, please."
He blinks obviously surprised but then quickly converts it to a slight widening smile when he hears your answer.
But then fades a little he goes quiet for a moment before he speaks again, but time with a little less enthusiasm.
"Well, my family and I have had a butcher shop for generations, generations." He looks down, he seems to have lost his momentum a little, as if speaking about his family has made him uneasy.
"I have been taught the art of butchering ever since I was little, I always liked it. I don't know if it was genetics, or just how I was raised, but I found a pleasure in it."
You wait for him to continue patiently, wondering slightly where it's going to go.
He looks up from the ground and back at you.
"Well, I started butchering animals of all kinds at a very young age..."
Wally pauses to think about what he should tell you next, his hands shifting slightly making a slight metal scraping noise while he does so.
"I had this thing, this... obsession, it was like I never had enough. I would start with animals, and then, well... You can probably guess what happened next."
You cross your legs, a bit unsettled but don't show it on my face. You must stay professional at all costs.
Wally seems to somehow take notice to your uneasiness, but he was also way too fixated on the conversation to stop now, and he also kinda liked it to see your unease.
"At some point of my life, around my teenagehood, I got this... feeling, this craving... I wanted more." His voice is slow and deliberate.
"Do you know what the next step was?"
"I'm going to guess you went after people, am I correct?" I ask, raising an eyebrow, my unease growing.
His smile returns as he nods his head.
"Yes, that's completely correct. It came to a point where I couldn't contain it anymore. I just had this hunger inside me, and I needed a way to fulfill it." He says, looking at the wall behind me, as if remembering a good meal.
"But why did you take this 'hunger' out on 'humans' or should I say other people?" You ask.
He seems to become a little serious at your question, and he pauses for some seconds before answering.
"I wanted something more, animals just wouldn't cut it for me anymore, what I enjoyed the most was the thrill of the chase. Animals are quite easy to hunt, while humans are... trickier." His eyes move a little around you, he seems to be analyzing your every movement, or maybe it's just you, but you can't help but feel vulnerable when he looks at you.
"When did this start, may I ask?" You say still trying to keep a very straight face and not show any weakness.
Wally's attention focuses on your question, it seems you have his full focus for now.
"I was... sixteen when it began." His voice gets a little bit more firm, and a little bit more cold.
"I started with animals because, well, I had no choice, but, at some point, and with... trial and error, I found a way to lure humans... That's when I could finally quench this thirst."
"So you've been doing this for-" You try to do a bit of math in your head, and after much difficulty you figure it out. "You've been doing this for 7-8 years?"
He looks at you for a moment, his eyes focusing on you once again.
"Yes, that's correct." He says with a slight, cold smile. "For seven years now I've been... taking pleasure in satisfying this thirst..."
As he speaks he licks his sharp teeth as if he was hungry.
You internally gulp.
"Did this thirst for 'murder' may I call it ever stop? Or did it not stop?" You then ask.
Wally looks back at you for a moment. His stare is cold, but his expression is calm, you can see how he is weighing his next words carefully. He seems to be calculating the best way to answer your question.
"Well, I don't feel the need to do it as much as before, when I was just starting. As time passed, something inside me changed." His voice seems calm now.
"But to answer your question, no it has not completely stopped."
You nod slowly then ask next, "How/when did you get caught?"
He pauses but then says, "Oh... I had to be quite 'careful' while doing it, so as to not get caught." He pauses again, as if he is thinking of the right words for his next answer.
"I started to be... careless with my work. I... missed some."
You wait for him to continue.
"I left many evidences behind, some were quite obvious but there were others that were more subtle. Either way, they were enough for the police to catch up to me."
He sighs, seeming a little bit disappointed.
"I should not have become so cocky, but... I was tired of being so careful all the time. I couldn't handle it for much longer."
You nod once again then check the clock that hung on the wall. "Well our session is almost up- anything else you'd like to say/add before our time is up?"
He looks at you for a few moments before answering.
"Actually, yes there is something I wanted to ask." He says with a slight nod.
"I have one question, one that... I want to ask you."
You look at him a bit surprised, "Sure-..?" you pause "What did you want to ask me?"
"Can I ask... Have you ever been in love?" He asks, looking at you.
Your eyes widened, you were not expecting this.
"N-no I have not ever really fallen in love, maybe small things here and there but they were short-.." You stumbled a little as you spoke not knowing how to exactly respond to the random question but then a bell goes off signaling that our session for today is over.
You get up, grabbing your things.
You can see how Wally's expression changes, it seems like he was expecting a little more. It seems he doesn't get to meet many people with little to no romantic interests.
He starts looking at you intensely once again, his eyes are almost piercing through your skin with how hard he's looking. You can see how he is trying to analyze you.
"Is it possible for me to ask what those 'small things' are?" He asks with a curious tone to his voice.
"What?" You ask turning around to face him. You were already walking towards the door but stop.
"What you just said, those 'small things.' I want to know about them." He says looking quite intrigued.
"You would be doing me a favor~" He says in his usual calm tone.
You pause to choose your next words carefully.
"Like you know small loves in highschool or something maybe one here and there in college idk- I was never really too involved in that-.. I was more focused on school-..." You trail off.
The thick metal door opens revealing a guard. They usher for me to come through signaling my time is up.
You can see again how Wally's expression changes once again, he seems a little bit disappointed and a hint of frustration that you didn't give him as much information as he hoped and that he was being rushed.
He looks at the guard for a few moments before looking back at you, speaking,
His eyes were narrowed as he watched you make it halfway up the small staircase.
He then calls out to you making you pause, "Wait..."
You turn partially to face him again, "Yes?"
Wally's smile a little seeing that you stopped.
"I just wanted to... ask one more question..." He says with a curious attitude.
"What's your favorite color?" He asks suddenly, his tone is very subtle now, as if he was genuinely interested.
Your eyes widen a bit, caught off guard again. "M- mine?" You pause thinking for a moment "F/c (favorite color)- what about you?"
Wally's eyes light up slightly at your answer, he seems to be pleased by your choice.
"F/c? It is indeed very beautiful indeed~" He says in a soft and romantic tone of voice.
"You see... I happen to enjoy F/c as well..." He says with a little half-smile on his face.
"Would you mind if I were to say something?" He speaks as if he was unsure of what to say next.
The guard yanks on your arm a bit, ushering me to exit the room.
"I don't think I have time, sorry." You say giving him an awkward + sad smile.
"You'll probably see me again soon though-"
The guard yanks on your arm again but a bit rougher.
"See you at our next session." You say then exit through the door holding all your things and the guard closes the door with a clank.
...
Wally watches you as you exit the room, his expression has changed to a more serious tone again.
"That's a shame, I wanted to say that..." He pauses for a few moments, thinking what to say.
"Until next time, my dear..." He says with a soft tone, as if he was calling you a cute pet name. "F/c would look amazing on you~" He adds, a smile appearing on his face.
...
You don't hear what he says because you're already behind the thick metal doors.
*(Now below is just like normal writing etc-)*
The guards guide me out of the small narrow hallway and back into the pale room, he then leaves my side for a second going over to the other guard at the single desk in the room. Exchanging short quiet words with them and then they join me again and exit the room. With me following closely behind, still trying to sort your scattered thoughts and calm your blood pressure.
You start to go through all of the events of the day and the session in your head while you walk.
...
The guard brings you back to the boring lobby and back outside to the parking lot. They were quick to get you out of there but it wasn't like you wanted to stay any longer then you had especially since bad memories would sometimes come up as you walked down the long dark eerie halls.
...
You eventually make it back to the office exhausted. You wanted to pass out and be done with the day but you knew that wouldn't happen. The session with Wally kept repeating in your head, It was scary/eerie on how he described his hunger and urges but you tried to not think much of it. You had also gotten stuck in traffic and almost got run off the road by a road rager which didn't help your mood or state.
You took a deep breath as you reached the door to your office and opened it. As you stepped through you were greeted by your assistant Ester who was sitting on the couch tapping rapidly away on her computer. She was one of the fastest typers you have ever seen and met.
