Finally Nandani was all set to join the company again . Avoiding the fact Manik didn't wanted her to work so earlier as he wanted her to take rest .
But she was adamant on her decision to join the company. So she came back . But something was changed in the air as she entered in the company.
She can feel it something is changed. But she can't see what changed. Shrugging her shoulders she made her way to her cabin .
And there she was greeted by her friends Cabir, Navya and Aman . All were standing there holding bouquets for her .
Aman can chirping happily and greeted her and gave the bouquet saying "Welcome back Nandu. We really missed you here . I hope you are fine now."
She nodded her head with a smile . Then after Navya and Cabir also passed the bouquet to her hugging her Navya said "Good to see again Nandu."
Cabir also said "If you need any help feel free to tell me " .
Seeing so much affection she got tears in her eyes and she said "Thank you so much all of you. And yes I'm fine now." She smiled .
They chatted for few and all of them left . She placed the bouquets on her desk and She began doing her work .
After a while her telecom ringed and she left her cabin to Manik's.
She knocked and made her way inside after getting his response.
He was working on some files when he sensed her presence he lifted his head and looked at her . And checked if she was okay or not.
"You fine now Ms. Murthy?" He asked her .
"Ya sir I'm absolutely fine and thank you also for saving me " she said genuinely smiling .
He nodded and was busy watching her only . He was not lifting his eyes away from and she was not ready to break the eye contact.
She can finally see him after so many days . Both were looking at each other as they were yearning for each other it can seen in their eyes .
What seems like eternity Nandani cleared her throat and grabbed his attention which he quickly averted his gaze and started coughing.
"You called me sir for something?" Nandani breaked the awkward silence.
Manik thinked a little and said "Ya I have told you about the traitor to find. Have you checked it??"
"Yes sir I'm trying my best I have already told the team to check everyone's bank details and all of things . At the end of the day it will be infront of you " she said in one go .
Manik gave a curt nod and signalled her that she can leave .
She turned and walked a little. But felt little dazy and stumbled a little. She tripped on her foot and was going to fall but Manik ran to her and held her in his arms .
He placed her on the beside couch and patted her cheeks saying "Nandani?? You alright??"
"Y...ya I... I'm fine " she mumbled a little .
"I told you na ? To take rest. Why can't you listen to me for once??" He raised his voice a little .
She looked into his eyes and can see some concern for her in those orbs which was so mesmerizingly beautiful.
"I don't feel okay alone in my home . And what will I do all day ??" She said looking directly to his eyes .
He sighed knowing very well how someone feel alone when there were no one for them when they need someone, can rely someone , to cry on someone's shoulder.
"You can call me . I'll give you the company . Or you can call your friends also" he said not removing his eyes from her holding her close to him .
"But I don't think you like my presence Mr. Malhotra " she said with tears in her eyes .
Seeing her tears something punched in his heart . It was hurting him watching her crying . And he was ready to take her pain away . And filled with happiness. Whenever she smile his heart blooms and whenever she cry his heart clenched.
Manik held her cheeks in his palms and wiped her tears. He shook his head and was going to say . But .
"BHAI" Aman barged in his office without knocking. And halted in his steps looking the scene that unfold in front of him .
His eyes widened and he quickly closed his eyes with his hands and said "I'm really sorry Bhai . I didn't knew you guys are doing kuchi kuchi here. " He said without any filter on his mouth .
Nandani quickly sat on her place and moved a little from Manik.
Manik closed his eyes in frustration and rubbed his hands on hairs mumbling "Karne hi kaha deta hai jo karunga"
"What?" Nandani asked .
"N...nothing nothing " Manik quickly said .
"Don't you know how to knock ??" Manik said being annoyed by his brother.
"Don't you know how to lock your door?" He said back moving his hands from his eyes .
Manik narrowed his eyes and was going to say "Nothing was happening here Aman . You are getting all wrong " Nandani jumped in between.
Aman smirked towards Manik and raised his eyebrows in amusement. "Really? Lag toh nahi raha tha "
"She was feeling dizzy and I was checking on her nothing else " Manik said .
Aman hurriedly ran towards Nandani and checked her cautiously. "You alright Nandu?? You should go home . Bhai will drop you "
Manik heads snapped at him and he asked raising his eyebrow demanding an answer for his previous question.
Aman smiled sheepishly. "Aap toh velle baithe ho toh thora kaam karo"
Nandani laughed a little watching them . Both of them snap at her beautiful smile . Manik was admiring her smile and Aman was admiring his brother who was admiring Nandani
"It's ok Aman I'm fine. I'll take medicine. I can't leave from here alot of works are pending and I have to complete it" Nandani stated .
Manik nodded understanding her and he was also not ready to leave her alone as he wanted to spend some time with her . Why ?? He also don't know or you can he don't want to accept.
Aman was going to interrupt but a man came and said "Mam the thing you gave us to do is done "
Nandani and Manik both of them looked at each other at the same time and nodded notifying they got the lead .
Aman standing there clueless added "What ?? Are you guys planning something ??"
"Let's go I'll tell you on the way " Manik said .
The trio left the cabin and get the room where cyber team was there . On the way Manik narrated everything to Aman and his jaw clenched hearing everything.
When they reached the security head greeted them and Nandani said "You find the lead ??"
He nodded "Yes mam there is a employee who is getting a large sum of money every month from the last 8 months . And there are also some footage where we can see he is talking to our rival company. "
Nandani looked at Manik only to look at his red eyes , veins popping out from his neck and head .
Nandani said in between "Sir I think we need a plan to catch him and Neyonika mam red handed. "
Manik looked at her and thinked for a while and he said "First tell me the plan" .
Aman rubbed his hand on Manik's back and said "Everything will be fine Bhai. ! I'm here . I'll make everything fine . You don't need to worry "
Manik nodded his head and left from there after discussing the further plan.
Once he left Nandani and Aman discussed more things and headed back to there normal work like nothing just happened.
On the other hand Manik was pacing around his cabin and thinking about how he can get back his dad's house , how can he destroy Neyonika.
Soon after Nandani came and stood beside him and said "Sir I think we should leave for the court . "
Manik gaze outside the building thinking alot . After a while he nodded and both of them left the company for the hearing . Aman soon joined them at court .
Aman was trying his best to keep Manik calm but he himself was worried about what was going to happen.
(I don't know how to write the court scene so I'm skipping it)
*After an hour*
All of them came back from the court with a huge smile plastered on there faces on the other hand Neyonika came with an angry face and was ready to lash on whoever will come front of her .
"I told you na Bhai everything will be alright. See" Aman said with a huge grin at his face.
Manik smiled seeing him smiling Nandani also smiled . They were taking and going towards there car but halted on there steps .
"MANIK STAY RIGHT THERE" Neyonika roared and came towards them .
Smoke came from her ears and eyes was red due to anger. She yelled "How can you do this to me Manik?? I'm your mother for God sake "
"Tsk tsk . You are wrong . Step mother" Manik said .
"I wanted the company you snatched it from me and gave this to your orphan brother . I wanted that house you snatched that also . WHY? " She said .
"Because both of the things are mine from the starting and it will be remain mine . And I can give them to whoever the fuck I want " Manik said pointing his index finger at her .
"And what you think all the game only you can play. Huh ??" He added with a smirk.
"W...what g...game ??" She stuttered.
His smirk grew wider and he said .
"Ok let me explain what game MOTHER"
