*You can't even concentrate. The only thing the school is talking about is how Hogwarts have two champions for the Triwizard Tournament. The group of Hufflepuff sitting a row behind you is discussing loudly about Diggory being the true champion. You close your eyes, trying to calm down. For the last half an hour, you have been sitting in the library, trying to do your potion homework, which you have only half-complete. Then to your dismay, Viktor Krum enter the library. At this, you stand up and leave. On your way out, just as you predict, a bunch of Krum's fangirls pushes their way in eagerly. You walk quickly towards the Ravenclaw tower when you crash straight into someone, causing their stuff and yours to fall to the ground.*
y/n: Sorry!
*You squat down and begin picking up their books but stop quickly when you see a smash bottle of ink spilled all over your potion homework.*
The person: Be careful with the broken glass *It's a male voice. He crouch down and point his wand at the ink bottle* Reparo! *The bottle is fixed but nothing can be done with the spilled ink*
*You hand over his books and pick up your ink-soaked parchment. If you don't get this homework done, Snape is going to kill you. You watch the ink dripping from the parchment.*
The person: Is that the potion homework?
y/n: Hm? *You look up at him for the first time since you crash and realise it's Diggory.*
Cedric: I'm in your potion class, remember? *You nod* Let me help you with the homework, to make up for ruining it
y/n: *You consider this. A helping hand would be nice, you are struggling, but you don't really like Diggory, he's popular and it's annoying.* Are you any good at potion?
Cedric: I'm okay at it, come on. The homework is due next period. You only have less than twenty minutes to finish it
y/n: Fine
Cedric: Great *He stands up and offer you his hand but you don't take it. You stand up yourself.* Shall we go to the library?
y/n: No
Cedric: Why?
y/n: *You sigh and mutter* Krum's fangirls
Cedric: *He laughs and you find yourself smiling* Okay, how about the Great Hall?
y/n: *You nod*
*Once at the Great Hall, you sit down with him at the Hufflepuff table, even though you are a Ravenclaw. You get out a fresh parchment and your quill.*
y/n: Do you have an ink bottle, I left mine in the library
Cedric: *He smiles at you* When you ran into me, it smashed. Remember?
y/n: *How can you forget?* Yes, of course. Sorry about that. Do you perhaps have a spare one?
Cedric: Who wouldn't? *He takes a bottle out of his bag and place it in front of you* There
y/n: Thank you *You look down at your blank parchment.*
Cedric: You know, we only have around 10 minutes. Do you want to copy mine?
y/n: *You look up at him* It'll get us both in detention
Cedric: Don't copy it word by word
y/n: *You think then shrug* Okay *He takes out his homework and you start writing. When the bell signal for class, you roll up your parchment and find yourself smiling at him again* Thank you
*He takes back his homework and you put yours in your bag, maybe Diggory isn't so bad .*
*At potion*
Snape: Late! Ten points away from Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff
y/n: But we-
Cedric: *He nudges you and whispers* It's not worth it, you know Snape is not someone to try and reason with *You nod and go sit with some Ravenclaws while he joins his friends.*
*Potion is not your best subject but not your worst either. Today, you are reviewing the Dreamless Sleep potion. Everyone on your table is doing at a slightly slower pace than you are. Adding the neatly cut lavender roots to your cauldron, you steal a quick glance at Cedric. He doesn't seem to be paying you any attention, this somehow makes you feel a bit disappointed.*
Snape: Do focus on the amount of roots you are adding, Haruki *Snape is looking over your shoulder* And pay attention to your cauldron instead of boys *At this you blush*
y/n: I'm sorry Professor *A boy on your table snickers*
Snape: Your potion is turning a dark shade of green Klein, there is nothing funny so I suggest you focus or you will fail your N.E.W.T (last exam taken by 7th years) *The boy immediately go back to stirring and Snape shuffle away*
*At the end of potion, you are walking out of the dungeon feeling somewhat confuse. You don't care about that Diggory boy but you also hope that he would talk to you again. You push away your thoughts and make way to the Ravenclaw common room. Once in your bed, you lay down and close your eyes. The feast is going on right now but you aren't in the mood to eat anything. You stand up again and grab your broom, even though Quidditch is cancel this year, you want to go out and fly. It was about a year ago when you were riding your broom on the Quidditch pitch as a Chaser. You leave your dormitory and go outside. It is dark and the only light source is coming from Hagrid's hut or the windows from Hogwarts. You mount your broom and kick off the ground. The familiar feelings when flying come rushing back to you. You zoom around the Quidditch pitch, flying through the goalposts and zigzagging around the stand. You decide to fly over the lake as well, letting your toes brush the water surface. You feel that happy feeling again, the stresses about homework and new spells is gone, replaced with the joy of flying. Oh, how you've missed it. Once back at the Quidditch pitch again, you come to a stop by the ground. You carefully climb off your broom and go back to the Ravenclaw tower. On your way to the entrance, you find Krum, leaning against the doorframe. He looks at you.*
Viktor: You flew vory vell *He says with a strong accent*
y/n: Hm? You saw me fly?
Viktor: Yes, I vos votching you
y/n: *A bit creepy, you tell yourself.* Well thank you? What are you doing out here anyway?
Viktor: I vant a bit aff peace, the attention vos suffocating me
y/n: You- *You stare at him in disbelief* You don't like the attention?
Viktor: I don't mind a bit aff attention but too much is not good for me. I need to focus on how to beat the first task. It's about dragon
y/n: I see- *You pause* Hold on a minute
Viktor: Vat is it?
y/n: How did you know what the first task is about?
Viktor: I- uh *He suddenly looks like as if he said too much* I vill tell you but you can't tell anybody? *You nod uncertainly* Karkaroff show me vem dragons so now I am trying to vigure out a vay to succeed the first task
y/n: Okay...Isn't that cheating?
Viktor: Fleur have already known and I am pretty sure that the Potter boy knows too
y/n: So-
Viktor: So it is vot cheating
y/n: No! So that means that Cedric does not know- *You pause* When is the first task?
Viktor: I'm pretty sure in avout a veek
y/n: Ah okay, thank you. I will see you around I guess?
Viktor: Vell yes aff course, Miss..?
y/n: My name is y/n
Viktor: Lovely name, have a good vight y/n
y/n: You too
*With that, you leave Krum and rush quickly to find Cedric. Luckily, you spot him going towards the Hufflepuff's Common Room by himself. This is the perfect opportunity.*
y/n: *You go over to him* Cedric? *You say quietly, suddenly feeling rather shy*
Cedric: *He turns around and when his gaze fell on you, he smiles* Oh y/n, what's up?
y/n: I'm not sure if you have heard but the first task is about dragons
Cedric: Oh, yes. Harry told me just this afternoon but thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it.
y/n: *You feel your face heating up from embarrassment* Oh well, goodnight then
Cedric: Goodnight
*You practically run back to your Common Room.You didn't bother changing and just lay in your bed. You throw the covers over you and let out a small squeal. Even though it was quite embarrassing for you,you were glad you talked to him. You can't help but grin stupidly whenever you think about that extremely cute smile he gave you. You close your eyes and slept dreamlessly.*
