Namjoon was alone at home. It was his day off. Others will be back by evening. He spent his time reading books and watching TV. But now he is bored. He doesn't like to be alone. He loves it when his mates are home. Now Jimin too. He was relieved that at least jimin will return soon. He always arrive before his mates.
Namjoon likes to talk with Jimin. The younger understand his thoughts. They recommend books to each other. His mates were never fond of reading. They always fell asleep, whenever he start talking about books. But still they try to listen to him or pretend to listen to him. Eventually he stopped talking about books.
But with Jimin it's different. The younger himself is a book lover. He will listen to him, will give his opinions. They read the books each other recommended. And will discuss about it when they get time. It's good to have someone with the same interest. They can talk about it a lot. No need to stress about boring other one. Can share opinions. Will learn new things. That's how it is with Jimin.
Namjoon was waiting for Jimin to arrive. He wanted to talk about the book he read today. Jimin is definitely gonna like it.
His thought interrupted when he heard the sound of front door opening. Jimin must be back. He walked towards the door, to greet the younger.
But he met with a tired Jimin, who were struggling to stand straight while trying trying to hold on something. But that's what not caught Namjoon's attention. It's the scent that coming from the younger. The delicate sweet scent of lavender. A really strong one, that make Namjoon's heart beat fast. It's like a smell when an omega's heat start. How can Jimin smell like that? He is a human. Human doesn't have heats or ruts. How can Jimin go in to heat? If he is not in heat what is that smell. With that scent Namjoon barely could control himself.
Jimin slowly walked in bending slightly, with the palm pressed on his belly. The younger looks like he is in pain. Suddenly he tripped on his own feet
Namjoon ran up to him and hold him by his waist before he could fall. Because of the strong smell it's hard to be near Jimin. He don't know how an omega feel during heat. He only know things he read. There aren't no omega in Bangtan. His pack were friends since childhood. After presenting they decided to be a pack, and mate. So they did. Because of that he don't have any experience with an omega in heat.
Jimin was in the verge of collapse. So Namjoon picked him up bridal style and went to Jimin's room. The smaller was writhing in his hold. His eyes were closed because of the pain. Tears running down his red cheeks. He was sweating profusely. He looks ethereal even in this state. Namjoon's heart skip a beat. He was feeling really hot. He was trying stop his alpha from taking contol. Namjoon quickly put the younger in to the mattress and covered him with blanket.
"Jiminie, what happened? Did you hurt somewhere?" Namjoon asked keeping a little distance from the younger man. If he spent more time near him, he will lose control. It's only been two days since the kiss incident. He don't want to put Jimin in another problem.
"I- i don't know hyung. I- " Jimin was stumbling with his words. Namjoon noticed how his eyes were glowing like it did some weak before. Namjoon would have awed, if the younger wasn't in this condition. "I am feeling really hot. And my stomach hurt a lot. I can't handle it. Please do something hyung." He stuttered out. He was crying, holding his tummy, curling in to himself.
The younger tried to get rid of the blanket. "It's really hot hyung." Namjoon helped him for it and turned on the AC.
"I will call Jin hyung or Yoongi hyung. They would know what to do. I will be back in a minute. Okay?" He went out of the room, without waiting for any reply.
He can't spent there more time and he need to call Jin and Yoongi.
The scents doesn't affect beta's as much as alpha. So calling his beta mates are the only thing Namjoon could think of.
He first tried Yoongi's number. But the second oldest didn't pick up. So he dialled Jin's number. He picked after two rings. Namjoon told him the situation. Jin agreed to be back quickly.
Namjoon relly wants to help Jimin. If it's heat, (he is sure that it's heat, even though he don't know how a human can go in to heat.) he can help Jimin. But without Jimin's permission, he can't invade his privacy. Also they are not mated. So the only thing he could do now is wait for Jin. The beta always know what to do in this kind of situation. So he did that, he waited for jin.
