It's been three months since the death of Muzan Kibutsuji and the demon slayers are still resting from their fiercest battle yet. In the Sun Mansion, Tanjiro rest well in his bed surrounded by his siblings and Kie who were all sleeping, except for Nezuko.
Tanjiro: Amazing. The cherry blossoms are blooming.
Nezuko: Yeah. They're incredibly beautiful. You still can't use your hand properly?
Tanjiro: Yeah. It's wrinkled like an old man's now. But I'm still able to move it. I'm unable to feel anything below the elbow, however. But I originally lost it before. And my eye was returned to normal. Unfortunately, I lost my ability to see out of it. And how are you doing, Nezuko.
Nezuko: Knowing that it's finally over, couldn't be better.
Tanjiro: And so many of our friends were hurt with wounds that'll scar their bodies forever. I still feel guilty of being part of that.
Nezuko: They were more concerned about you then their injuries. You don't have to apologize for their own choices. You're just asking to get flicked on the forehead.
She took hold of Tanjiro's head.
Nezuko: Even so, I was really scared you turned demon, brother.
Tanjiro: Giyu was scared that it was over, once I bit you.
Nezuko: Everyone did.
Tanjiro: Even I was believed it was over when I was trapped in Muzan's cells. From what Yushiro said, the antidote that Shinobu and Tamayo created was injected into me after I bit you, Nezuko. We were given a lucky break.
Nezuko: Seriously?
Tanjiro: I believe so. From what I learned; your blood was somehow unique as father's Sun Breathing techniques was at its strongest when we were born. Meaning, your blood was resistant.
Nezuko: Seriously?
Tanjiro: Yes. You've become immune to Muzan's cells when I bit you.
(Flashback)
One night, Yushiro was telling Tanjiro how he was able to return to human.
Yushiro: Nezuko's blood and Shinobu's antidote. If those two factors weren't combined, you would've been stuck as a demon forever. You should count this as lucky. Not to mention your attributes. From your letter of the Swordsmith Village, you've been able to withstand the sun for a matter of seconds after killing Upper Rank 4. An outstanding ability. Your demon form is indeed stronger than Muzan or any of the Upper Ranks. That must be why he was desperate to capture and devour you. I'm still mind baffled you still stayed alive down there without falling to the feral side. You're indeed amazing like that man that spared Lady Tamayo. Good job on doing the impossible.
Tanjiro: It... wasn't just me... Everyone else played a role in defeating him...
Yushiro: I was being sarcastic. Don't take that last statement seriously, dumbass. In all honestly, every time I see your face, I get constantly annoyed to the point where I wish to perish. Farewell.
He grabs Chachamaru and takes his leave. But Tanjiro gives him final words.
Tanjiro: Don't tell me you plan on dying as well, Yushiro. You are the last piece of Tamayo that needs to keep her memory alive.
Yushiro doesn't reply and exits the room.
(Flashback Ends)
Tanjiro: I truly hope Yushiro's doing okay. He's completely disappeared and not the Oyakata was able to locate him.
Nezuko: I'm sure he's doing fine. Tamayo taught him everything on how to survive.
Tanjiro: One can only hope.
They soon hear a knock on the door as Hotaru enters the room.
Tanjiro: M-Mr. Haganezuka.
He was then feeling scared. He remembered the last time he saw his sword it was completely snapped in half.
Tanjiro: Mr. Haganezuka, about the sword you forged back, I'm sorry. I never meant for it to snap. You put so much effort into cleaning it. And now, it was for nothing.
Hotaru: Did it?
Tanjiro: Huh?
Hotaru: Did the sword I reforged for you deliver the final blow to Muzan Kibutsuji?
Tanjiro: Before I died, I remember putting my strength into my grip until the sword burned too bright for Muzan to handle.
Hotaru: Then what reason should I be mad? You were able to defeat the man that brought this world hell. And because you used my sword, I am indeed grateful.
Tanjiro: T-thank you.
Hotaru: I can repair it as a token of my appreciation.
He then grabbed Tanjiro by the collar violently.
Hotaru: But I promise you, if it is someway broken by your clumsiness, I'll make you wish you indeed back there!! Understand!?
Tanjiro: Yes!!
Hotaru: Good!
He was then tickled on his sides by Kozo and Kotetsu.
Kozo: Honestly, Haganezuka. Your swords are indeed art. But you should lash out a people who fight in your name.
Tanjiro: Mr. Kanamori and Kotetsu.
Nezuko: It really is nice to see you both again.
Kozo: Likewise, Mr. Tanjiro and Ms. Nezuko. But this is Mr. Haganezuka's first time visiting you.
Tanjiro: How come?
Kozo: After he heard of Muzan Kibutsuji's defeat, he was puzzled. But after learning that the sword he sharpened was snapped, he took his rage put on the mountainside smashing rocks and cutting down trees. He was flabbergasted.
Tanjiro: Oh. I think we get it now.
Soon Shinjuro peaked from behind the doorway, but Tanjiro was able to smell him.
Tanjiro: Oh! Mr. Shinjuro! It's good to see you!
Shinjuro: Damn, that boy's nose is strong.
He muttered as he walked in.
Shinjuro: It's hard for me to say this after our last interaction. But... I'm very thankful, Tanjiro Kamado. If it wasn't for you, I would've lost my entire family. It's thank to you, I was able to escape my abyss of depression. Kyojuro and Senjuro are indeed happy to have a friend like you.
Tanjiro: No, no, no! If anything, I should be thankful. Because Kyojuro was able to encourage me back on the train mission. He lit a powerful flame in my heart.
Soon the Kamado siblings wake up and greets everyone.
Nezuko: (I wonder how Zenitsu and the others are doing.)
In the Butterfly Manor, Zenitsu and Kaigaku were looking at the cherry blossom with Kanao and Ume snuggled in their arms and the caterpillar girls beside him.
Zenitsu: It's been a rough couple of months due to this rehabilitation.
He complained.
Kaigaku: You're telling me? I couldn't walked for a long while.
Kanao: At least you're able to walk again. You've been unable to use your legs for a whole month until Shinobu and Kanae put you both under training to restore your legs.
Kiyo: And you still had other injuries from your fight against Akaza.
Naho: You three went through so much to defeat those Upper Rank demons.
Sumi: We were all scared you all could've died.
Zenitsu: We're sorry. Truly. We were overcome with vengeance for our previous family, until their souls stopped us from going down a dark path.
Kaigaku: And I was furious of what Hunter did to make mine and Gyomei's lives worst that I didn't realize until now that I was slowly becoming just like him.
Girls: Oh, Zenitsu, Kaigaku.
They all approached them and hug them. Soon their room was then invaded by Hinatsuru, Makio, and Suma.
Suma: Zenitsu!!
She shouted.
Suma: Tengen can't wait for you to be discharged!!
Makio Will you quit being a loudmouth!?
She says smacking Suma.
Suma: Ooow! Makio always keeps hitting me!
Makio: Because you keep on acting supid!
Suma: Hinatsuru, please tell me you saw her hit!
Hinatsuru: I'm sorry. I wasn't looking.
Suma: meanies!! Both of you are big jerks.
Zenitsu: have you met Kaigaku?
Kaigaku: What was that!?
Just then Ume kisses his cheek.
Ume: Calm down Kaigaku.
Kaigaku: Okay.
Just then the room got very quiet.
Zenitsu: Finally tamed the thunder dragon?
He teased.
Kaigaku: Shut up.
As Zenitsu's room becomes a loud party, Inosuke walks by heading to the kitchen.
Inosuke: (Okay Inosuke. You can do this. You love her. Today's the day you tell her how you feel.)
As he takes a deep breath he enters the kitchen where Aoi is.
Aoi: Hello Inosuke.
Inosuke: (God damn this girl sensed me already. Sharp skills.)
Aoi: Look, if you're hungry then here.
She hands Inosuke a tray of rice balls.
Aoi: Whatever I bring to you will be on this tray. You are more than welcome o eat however you like.
Inosuke: Thanks. But that's not what I'm here for.
Aoi: I know.
She cupped Inosuke's cheeks and kisses him catching him by surprised. She then lets him go.
Aoi: I was very scared. When I heard that the demon who put Kanae in a coma almost killed your parents before you were even born, I just wanted to find the words to assure you, you're not alone.
Inosuke: Aoi...
Aoi: I love you moron.
Inosuke then kisses her which she returns.
Inosuke: I love you too Aoi.
(One month later)
Tanjiro was discharged and was summoned by Kiriya to the Ubuyashiki's new manor alongside the rest of the Hashira. Tengen still had his amputated arm wrapped in bandages and an accessory across where his eye was slashed, Gyomei was given a prostatic foot, Giyu had cut his hair shorter like it was before, and Zenitsu was now wearing Jigoro's haori.
Kiriya: Thank you all for joining us. Today will be the final Hashira meeting. Kyojuro, Sanemi, Giyu, Gyomei, Kaigaku, Zenitsu, Tengen, Doma, Kanae, Shinobu, Mitsuri, Yune, Muichiro, and Tanjiro. I'm indeed in shock. I never would've expected an entire generation of Hashira to survive. But even so, we were able to eradicate the demons once and for all. So, as today, the Demon Slayer Corps are disbanded.
Hashira: As you wish, Oyakata.
They said in union.
Kuina: You've all protected the world for so long.
Kanata: You fought and devoted yourselves to save the weak.
Kiriya/Kuina/Kanata: So, on behlaf of the Ubuyashiki family...
They bow their heads.
Kiriya/Kuina/Kanata: We thank you for your service to the cause.
Gyomei: Please, raise your heads!!
Yune: We are in no need of your gratitude!
Sanemi: Exactly! The Ubuyashiki Family's efforts and determination are the greatest reason that the Demon Slayer Corps were able to stay together for so many years!
Tanjiro: Kiriya, you let us against Muzan and the Upper Ranks as we fought for victory. You have done as equal importance as the rest of us. Rest assured that all of your ancestors including your late father would be proud of how you led us.
Those words brought the Ubuyashiki children to tears.
Kiriya: Thank you all so much, for believing in us.
Once the final Hashira meeting has ended, most of them went their own ways as some stayed together.
Ume has made the journey back home with Kaigaku to announce their dating situation to her family.
Kaigaku: Are you sure about this, Ume? I'm still not feeling good about this.
Ume then hugs his arm.
Ume: I made my feelings clear, Kaigaku. And I wish to express them to my family. They want to know you well.
Kaigaku: Huh!?
Ume: I've written about you and I already scheduled a meeting with them along with Aoi to meet our parents. So basically you have no choice!!
She began to run with Kaigaku in her grip.
Kaigaku: (She's indeed a one-of-a-kind girl.)
Gyomei became the primary caretaker of the Ubuyashiki children until they grow up to lead their own lives.
Muichiro visits his old home one last time with Nezuko.
Nezuko: Hey Muichiro? Why are we here?
Muichiro: I wish to pay respect to my family one final time, before moving on. And I wish to put my suffering ancestor to rest for good.
He grabs the flute that Kokushibo carried and proceeds to bury it in front of his old home.
Muichiro: I honestly though that we were granted with horrible luck. But somehow, the gods sparred me. But now, I just wish to put the Tsugikuni family to peace.
He then takes hold of Nezuko's hand.
Muichiro: Now then, shall we begin our new lives together?
Nezuko: Yes.
She answered smiling.
The Rengoku family and Mitsuri visits a train station.
Shinjuro: Why are we here again?
Kyojuro: Because I made a promise a long time ago. And you're part of it.
Arriving at the train station, Kyojuro goes on ahead to greet the two bento sellers he said before the Muigen Train mission.
??: Oh, Mr. Rengoku!!
Kyojuro: It's been a while hasn't it Fuku? Forgive me for not writing back. But I was very busy and had to get much rest these past few months.
??: Oh, it is so good to see such a familiar face.
Tomi, Fuku's grandmother said coming out of her bento booth.
Tomi: But why are you here?
Kyojuro: Demons no longer exist in this world which means I now must find another way to live. And I wished to see the two of you again. Plus, I brought a visitor.
Tomi: A... visitor?
Kyojuro: You can come out now, father.
He signals Shinjuro as he, Senjuro, and Mitsuri appeared before the two. Upon seeing his face after 20 years, Tomi began to cry. Her legs even give out as a result.
Tomi: It's... it's because of you... that my daughter... and I... were saved from those creatures.
Shinjuro: It was my duty to protect those who can't protect themselves. I lost sight of it many years ago. But then I met someone... who put me back on the right path.
Tomi continued to thank Shinjuro as Kyojuro, Senjuro, Mitsuri, and Fuku watched.
Tengen has retuned to his home with his wives preparing on restoring the Uzui name.
Genya waits for Sanemi as they were preparing to depart.
Sanemi: Did I make wait too long?
Genya: It's fine. We now have our lives ahead of us. This can give us the chance to rekindle our brotherhood. Was there any reason why you kept on berating me to leave the demon slayers?
Sanemi simply hugged him tight refusing to let go.
Sanemi: Shouldn't it be obvious? I did all of that because I wanted you to live a normal life. When mom became a demon, she was mercilessly attacking me because of my blood. And I didn't want yourself getting hurt because of me. All I wanted was for you live a happy life, find a nice girl, and get married.
Genya: I did find a nice girl.
Sanemi: Really? What's her name?
Genya: Kanata. Kanata Ubuyashiki.
This surprised Sanemi.
Sanemi: You're dating the eldest daughter of the Oyakata?
Genya: Yes. I didn't tell you because you were al I had left. And the thought of you just pushing me away made a hole inside my heart.
Sanemi: Genya... I don't know what to say.
??: Then how about you start with sorry?
Kanae whispered causing Sanemi to jump by surprise.
Sanemi: Kanae, what are you doing here!?
Kanae: I'd figure I go with you. After all, you did visit me on my rest bed.
Sanemi: What!? Who say such ridiculous thoughts!?
Kanae: Shinobu and Giyu.
Sanemi began to turn tomato red with veins bulging around his head.
Sanemi: As soon as wounds fully heal, I'll come back here and give those two a piece of my mind!
Kanae: Will that be before or after we're married? Because Shinobu says she'll be staying with Tanjiro.
And with that, the former Wind Hashira fainted, causing Genya and Kanae to carry him as they started to head for Sanemi's home.
Genya: Do you really have to tease him like that?
Kanae: I find it to be hilarious. Oh and I didn't come alone someone special to you also came.
Genya was confused until he turned around to see Kanata.
Genya: Kanata!?
Kanata: Hi Genya.
Genya: What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be with Himejima and your family?
Kanata: They said I could go with you and they trust you to take care of me.
She said with a smile making Genya blush.
Meanwhile, Giyu and Yune were sleeping together as well as Sabito and Makomo who moved in together. As the years continued, the former comrades would get married to each other or find a specail someone in their lives. And for the next hundred years, the demons became myths.
(Present Era)
??: Will you get up. I swear you'll be late for school.
Kanata Agatsuma said trying to wake his friend up. He looked like Kanao but a male version.
Kanata: I'm not doing this again. Last chance Sumihiko.
Sumihiko: I am awake...
He mutters. He was similar to Tanjiro but he doesn't have a scar.
Kanata: This is the most awful lie I've ever heard. You are fast asleep.
He jumps out of the window and when he lands he sees a tall kid that looks like Zenitsu but with black hair and a girl who looks like Ume but with black hair. This was Yoshiteru Agatsuma his older brother and his brother's girlfriend Daki.
Yoshiteru: What's with that look? Let me guess he's still asleep?
Kanata: Yup.
Daki: It'll be fine he'll catch up.
(Tokito Estate)
??: Interesting. This guy was able to win the mixed martial arts tournament.
Juichiro Tokito said. He looked like Muichiro but had Nezuko's eyes.
Juichiro: He can knock an opponent out with one reversal kick. He's not someone I want to mess with.
He was looking at an article that Yoshiteru told him about a man with powerful combat techniques.. He then rolls away from a kick from behind.
??: Are you really gonna be spending the whole morning being glued to your phone!?
His siter yells at him.
Juichiro: Why are you even kicking at me Touko!?
Touko: Because it's exams day! And you're just lounging around! DO you really want to fail!?
Juichiro: My IQ is a high of 369. My intelligence is very high.
Touko: Are you trying to say you're smarter than you big sister!?
She and Juichiro walk to their high school.
Juichiro: (Every woman in our family was indeed gentle and kindhearted. But my sister was the competitive tomboy.) Have you ever heard of the reincarnation theory?
Touko: Are you saying that I'm dumb because I don't learn information!?
Juichiro: That's not what I said. What I'm saying is that those who were reincarnated could be living happy lives right about now. Including our ancestors who have fought tooth and nail against the demons. But maybe it's just my imagination.

Juichiro: I bet they're probably jealous of his irresistible looks.
He then pulls out his phone.
Juichiro: This is unheard of.
Touko: Huh?
Juichiro: The scientist Aoba Hashibira, he was putting seven months of research into the Blue Spider Lily.
Touko: The flower that blooms two or three times a year?! And in the daytime only? I can't believe he was researching that!
Juichiro: Yeah. But they were all withered away after one mistake. Afterwards Aoba was then hit hard with heavy criticism and was forced to apologize.
Touko: Poor man. I really do wish he could help you get more smarter.
Juichiro: Bitch.
Touko: Dick.
They continue their walk to school until they encounter a baby that was wrapped in a blanket that has a familiar pattern to Yuichiro. And them, they pass two women that have a similar resemblance to Shinobu and Kanae. They then meet up with Kanata, Daki, and Yoshiteru.
Touko: Oh. Kanata!
Kanata: Touko, Juichiro. Good morning. Wow, you curled your hair today. It makes you even prettier.
Touko: Ehh, you really think so?
Kanata: I'm real lucky to have met a beautiful girl like you, Touko.
Youko: Ohhh, Kanata!
Juichiro felt like he was being mocked for not being in a relationship.
Touko: So, where's Sumihiko?
Yoshiteru: Still sleeping the day away like the lazy ass he is.
Daki: He'll be late today if he keeps this up.
The five past a daycare center where a man who had an exact appearance of Gyomei Himejima was taking care of two children that were fighting.
Yoshiteru: (What a massive caretaker.)
Touko: Hey, we have school in the morning today. Why don't we go to that restaurant on the way back home.
Juichiro: Are you talking about the one with the massive servings and those snake ornaments?
Touko: Yeah!
Juichiro: I might have to take a raincheck on that place.
Touko: How come?
Juichiro: Someone was ogling at the waitress for a while and her yandere husband tossed his knife at them, from the kitchen.
Touko: Are you becoming a pervert, Juichiro?
Juichiro: Of course, not. I was sitting with my back towards the counter. It was some guy with glasses.
Touko: oh, please.
Kanata: I do believe what Juichiro says.
Yoshiteru: Same with me.
Daki: me as well.
Touko: What!? What have you done to my Kanata!?
Meanwhile, back in his apartment, Sumihiko wakes up.
Sumihiko: Oh no! I'm late! Dammit Kanata, why didn't you wake me?
Putting his uniform on, Sumihiko exits from his window.
Sumihiko: I'm leaving mom! I love you!
He begins to parkour his way to school leaping from his building to the next.
Sumihiko: I won't be robbed of my perfect attendance record.
He finally reaches the ground and starts sprinting through the neighborhood taking every shortcut to school. He then passes a pair of elderly man playing shogi.
Sumihiko: Sorry! Coming through!
??: Quit rushing through my yard, you brat!!
Sumihiko: I'm sorry!
??: Damn kids.
The TV in their house is still as an interview starts.
??: Good morning, Japan. We are given a once and a lifetime opportunity talking to the newest holder for the longest living person in our very country, Kiriya Ubuyashiki.
Sumihike passes by a workshop named "Haganezuka Equipment" and passes by three young girls that simulate Kiyo, Naho, and Sumi. Meanwhile a police car waits for the green light.
??: Nobody, huh. Why don't we take it easy for today.
??: Good idea.
Sumihiko crosses the street as the two ploice car begins to move.
Sumihiko: (Ah... I can't stop and the police car...)
Without losing speed, Sumihiko leaps over the hood of the car and continues running.
??: Isn't that the kid whose been recklessly dashing through the city?
One of the officers said. Both has the appearance of Sanemi and Genya Shinazugawa.
??: There are seven reports about this punk. I'm definitely not letting him go!!
Sanehiro declares.
Sumihiko: Crap! I might just make it, but it's gonna be close.
He then runs past three more kids that includes the descendants of Giyu Tokimo, Giichi, as well as the reincarnations of Sabito and Makomo.
Makomo: So, which one did you get? I wanna see, please?
Giichi and Sabito show their toys revealing to be fox masks.
Sabito: Wow. Yoi got a rare one, Giichi! Check out mine.
Makomo: Cool you got the wandering masks. I wish I could get one, but I don't have any allowance left.
Giichi/Sabito: Here you go.
They replied giving their friend their allowance.
Makomo: Huh!? Seriously!?
At the public high school, one of the students was checking out a picture of Tamayo. Then one of his friend sneaks up on him.
??: Hey Goto, I know you'll say now but is that your girlfriend?
Goto: Takeuchi!? Don't sneak up on me like that! And no, she's...
Takeuchi: Wait. I know who that is. That beautiful woman's named Tamayo. She appears in many paintings. The artist's name is Yushiro Yamamoto. His recent paintings just gained praised worldwide.
Goto: And yet somehow, he always points a rifle at them whenever reprtrs try and press him for even a single question.
Takeuchi: Artist are that violent?
Sumihiko continues to run when another student which is his best friend runs alongside him.
??: Sumihiko!! Such a nice morning for a run huh!?
Sumihiko: Oh, Tojuro! Good morning! It's uncommon of you to be late!
Tojuro: Well, I was up until 4 am because I was practicing and got way into the zone! I was unable to hear anything, until my father slapped me awake!
Sumihiko: now that's frightening!
Sanehiro: Hey, kid! Hold it right there!
He said through his intercom.
Tojuro: Sumihiko, why don't you join the kendo club? We are always open for more applicants! or any sports team!
Sanehiro: Black hair boy quit running!
Sumihiko: Sorry. I don't want to do anything that'll mess with my schedule!
Tojuro: It doesn't have to be year-around! Why not one semester!? It looks like you're great for sports!
Sanehiro: Will you quit running, you delinquent!?
Tojuro: You know it's really nice once your mind is completely focused onto something that everything else isn't there!!
Sumihiko: I won't be left behind by you, Tojuro!
Sanhiro: Last chance, ass hole! Stop running!
??: Uh, bro...
??: Close it!! Close the gates now!!
A teacher resembling Murata yelled.
??: But sir, we still have three minutes...
??: Three minutes late for those offenders with terrible attendance records!!
Deciding not to refuse his orders, the gate was starting to close.
Tojuro: Look at that! We made it!
Sumihiko: Yes!!
They somersault over the gate before it even close shut.
??: Dammit! Every time, I try and make sure those punks would stay out because all they would do is cause trouble! That's why I put in those false complaints to the police! But they would no charge that juvenile!
??: Uh sir?
??: What!?
His coworker points behind her as the officers were in front of the gate. Sanehiro approach calmly but was holding his anger back.
Sanehiro: Let's have a nice talk, shall we?
Meanwhile in a park, Aoba was wondering what would happen to him after the blue spider lily disaster.
Aoba: What a wonderful day. But I'm sure I'm gonna get fired because of my failures. Maybe I should be a cult leader instead.
At the Kamado apartment, Sumihiko's mother answers the phone.
??: Hello, Kamado residence. Huh!? Sumihiko again!? Oh, why does he get himself into so much trouble!?
On the wall she looked at was the very Nichirin Sword that Tanjiro held many decades ago. Above it was a number of pictures including one involving the survivors of the war against the demons and right next to that picture were the same Hanafuda Earrings that Yoriichi Tsugikuni wore until they were passed down to the Kamado family.
