Everything went peacefully. Abhimanyu and Aarohi's evening went perfectly without any problems. Even Akshara didn't do anything as she is waiting for the right time to execute her plan.
Abhimanyu and Aarohi were beautifully welcomed by the Birlas. As Abhimanyu and Aarohi reached their room, they were shocked by the decorations. The room was decorated with candles and a few fairy lights. A big heart made of roses was on the bed, and they both felt awkward seeing it.
"Aarohi, wait a minute. Let me clean it," Abhimanyu said to break the silence.
"Wait, I will also help you."
They both started to clean the room and tried to make it more comfortable. Finally, they blew out all the candles and turned off the lights.
"Okay, you can sleep on the bed, and I will sleep on the couch."
"Arre, no problem. You sleep on the bed; I will sleep on the couch, Abhimanyu. It's totally alright."
"What alright? You sleep on the bed."
"I have a better solution, Abhimanyu. We can share the bed. You can take the left side, and I will take the right side."
Abhimanyu chuckled after hearing the suggestion given by Aarohi.
"Fair enough," Abhimanyu replied.
Aarohi asked him with a confused expression, "Why are you chuckling?"
"Oh, that's because you gave a sensible solution. Or else, we would be fighting over this only."
"As per your wish, Abhimanyu."
They both slept on their respective sides of the bed. A sense of understanding was formed between them, and the night, which was feeling awkward to both of them, turned into a peaceful night. They both slept. The next morning, Aarohi woke up at 5 and wasn't sleepy anymore. She was looking at Abhimanyu, who was sleeping peacefully.
"Look at him, he is sleeping peacefully, and here sleep is far away from my eyes."
Abhimanyu, rubbing his eyes, saw Aarohi awake and then looked at the time.
"Aarohi, why are you awake at 5?"
"I wasn't asleep."
"Why?" Abhimanyu asked with a confused reaction.
"Actually, I used to study early in the morning, so sleep is far away from my eyes. You sleep."
"Ok."
Abhimanyu slept and Aarohi thought about what she should do. Something struck her mind, and she went to the kitchen.
"Let me prepare breakfast for everyone. Every day, Maa does it, so today I should do it," Aarohi thought and started preparing breakfast.
As Aarohi was preparing breakfast, Harsh came with an empty jug in his hands and was shocked to see the condition of the kitchen.
"What is going on?" Harsh asked with a confused look.
Just then, he looked at his daughter-in-law, who was looking like she had played Holi with atta, and the kitchen was a whole mess, like an earthquake had come into their house. Harsh was trying his best to control his laughter seeing Aarohi like this.
"Woh Papa," actually Aarohi stammered.
"I know you don't know how to cook at all. Look at the condition of the kitchen; it seems like an earthquake came here," Harsh said while laughing.
"I am sorry, Papa," Aarohi said with embarrassment.
"No need for sorry, Aarohi. You know whenever I come to the kitchen for cooking, Manjari doesn't let me enter because I make the same mess as you. But now I am a pro in cooking. Let me help you out in the kitchen," Harsh said with amusement in his voice.
Aarohi was shocked to learn that her father-in-law knows how to cook and is willing to teach her. Also, a lone tear came to her eyes as she longed to experience this with her father and wanted to spend time with him like this.
"Aarohi, now you are my assistant, and we will start cooking."
"Ok, Papa. Sorry, sir."
"First, we will fix this atta, which is looking more like a face pack."
"Sure, sir."
They both, while having fun with each other and sharing their respective experiences, were enjoying a lot. First, they both cooked breakfast for everyone, and after that, they both cleaned all the mess which was created by Aarohi.
"Aarohi, but you didn't have to cook," Harsh said with a concerned look.
"Actually, Papa, it was my first rasoi, so I wanted to cook. But I never learned cooking as Badi Maa never taught me, so I was just trying," Aarohi said with sadness.
"It's okay you don't know how to cook, so from now on, I will teach you cooking every Sunday," Harsh said with a smile on his face.
Aarohi hugged him as she was really happy to have such a father-in-law in her life. The love she longed for so long from her family was being fulfilled in this house, and she was really loving it. She didn't like that her Badi Maa, and Bade Papa used to love Akshara, but now she wasn't alone as she had such a beautiful family.
Around 7, Aarohi went to her room to freshen up as her clothes were messy. But as she entered the room, she was shocked.
"Abhimanyu, what is this?" she asked with a shocked expression.
"My clothes," Abhimanyu said with a worried expression.
"It looks more like a boutique than a room. Just look at the room for once," Aarohi said with an angry expression.
Actually, the whole room was messed up by Abhimanyu's clothes, and Aarohi was shocked to see that. As Aarohi was trying to move, her foot got stuck in Abhimanyu's clothes and she was about to fall on the floor, but Abhimanyu caught her just in time. He held her by the waist, and they both had eye contact for a few minutes. But after a while, Abhimanyu burst out laughing.
"Why are you laughing, Abhimanyu?" Aarohi asked with a confused expression.
"Have you played Holi with flour? Look at your face," Abhimanyu chuckled.
He made her stand straight, and Aarohi hit his hand.
"First, tell me what condition you have made of this room," Aarohi asked angrily.
"Oh, actually, I wasn't able to find my shirt," Abhimanyu said, while he stopped laughing.
"So, if you couldn't find your shirt, you turned the room upside down?" Aarohi started to burst out on him.
They both fought like this for a few minutes and then got ready and went for breakfast.
Aarohi woke Vishti, and after that, everyone came for breakfast. Everyone had breakfast and enjoyed it a lot. Everyone blessed Aarohi.
"Abhimanyu, take Aarohi to the Goenka house for her 'Peg Fera,'" Manjari said, commanding.
Both Abhimanyu and Aarohi knew that there was no use in going there, but for Manjari, they both agreed. First, they dropped Vishti to her school and then went to Goenka house.
