The backyard of the house was surrounded by trees and plants, creating a serene and secluded atmosphere. Jimin used to go there often, always finding solace in its natural beauty. However, tonight it's transformed into something magical.
The place was decorated with fairy lights and lanterns, and there were flowers arranged beautifully, making it more colourful. In the center stood a table with an impressive spread of food, ready to be devoured. Above the table, more fairy lights twinkled, giving a dreamy glow.
Jimin's eyes were drawn to the side of the table, where a beautiful tent adorned with numerous pillows and blankets. It looked so cozy that Jimin wants to jump in and cuddle with his mates. No, they are not his mates, not yet. But maybe in future.
As Jimin stood there, awed by the sight, he felt a gentle hand on his back. Turning his head, he found Yoongi smiling warmly at him. Jimin returned the smile, as Yoongi guided him towards the table.
Jimin sat between Jin and Jungkook, as the pack joined them around the table. Dinner as usual was, filled with lively conversation, shared laughter, and playful teasing. They talked about their day, exchanged stories, and enjoyed the food.
Once the meal was finished, Jin led Jimin towards the tent, the rest of the pack following close behind. Jimin settled on a cushion between Taehyung and Hoseok, as all of them sat in a circle.
"Let's talk." Namjoon started, his gaze fixed on Jimin. Jimin's heart began to race, uncertainty and nervousness washed over him. What could they want to discuss?
Doubt crept into Jimin's mind. Maybe they were tired of him, and this beautiful setup was a gentle way to reject him. Deep down he know, this thoughts aren't true, infact the pack love him so much. But he couldn't help, but having bad thoughts and self doubts.
Sensing his distress through his scent, the pack's expressions shifted to concern. Hoseok gently squeezed Jimin's hand, offering comfort, while Taehyung rubbed his back in soothing circles. Their touches helped to calm him slightly, but the negative thoughts still lingered.
"W- we want to talk about- the-" Jin stuttered. Namjoon placed a reassuring hand on the older beta's back, trying to calm him. Jimin closed his eyes, nervously waiting for something sad.
"I'll tell you." Jungkook interjected, cutting off Jin. "Would you like to be our mate?" he asked in one breath, making Jimin's eyes snap open in surprise. "Jin hyung was worried we might be rushing things for you. But we love you, Jiminie. We want you to be our mate. We are impatient." Jungkook continued, with pleading eyes.
As Jungkook's words sank in, a wave of happiness washed over Jimin. They wanted him as their mate. Overwhelmed, tears welled up in Jimin's eyes as he nodded vigorously.
"I would love to. I love you too." Jimin said, his mismatched eyes glowing with various emotions. The pack stared at it, mesmerized by the sight.
Hoseok turned Jimin towards him, enveloping him in a tight hug. Taehyung joined in, wrapping his arms around them from the other side. One by one, all of them joined the embrace, making it difficult for Jimin to breathe. But he didn't care. He wanted to stay like this forever, surrounded by the pack, inhaling their mix of comforting scents. It felt home. They are his home.
