Me and Taco sat in silence for a bit. It was quite awkward.
"So- uh.. Do you need anymore food?" I asked.
"Uhm.. Yes."
"Okay just.. stay here I guess. I'll go get you some food." I walked back to Hotel OJ. A lot of time must've passed! it's getting pretty dark. I should hurry and go to bed before OJ locks me out on 'accident' again. I'm pretty sure he only does that when he knows I'm outside past 8pm.
When I reached the hotel, I immediately went to the kitchen. God- I think I missed dinner again. That's fine. I'll just wake up early tomorrow so I can get breakfast.
I went into the kitchen and looked for the snack area. I hope they weren't put away yet. I walked up to the snack bar and grabbed a few. I quickly made my way back to taco. This time, I brought more snacks than before. I figured that she'd need some later or she may be hungrier than I thought. I also brought.. 2 bottles of water this time! It's not that important. I also took one of my bags and put the snacks in it! I don't even use this bag so I think I'll give it to Taco.
I went back to where Taco was. She was still sitting where she was last time. I sat in front of her and handed her the food and water. She immediately grabbed it and began eating them.
Me and Taco talked for a bit while she ate. Well, it was mostly me since she was eating.
"And that's why you should touch glowing fish!" I said.
"Why would I touch a glowing fish." She looked at me as if I was stupid. I'm not stupid- At least I think so.
"I just told you why."
"Why are you even telling me this?"
"Just in case you find a glowing fish and you want to touch it!"
"I don't think I'd like to touch anything that's glowing when it usually isn't.."
"Well, what if you do?"
"I still wouldn't touch it."
...
We sat in silence for a bit, before taco spoke up.
"Don't you hate me?"
"Well no.. but yes- But also no!-"
"Just say 'I don't know.' It's not that hard."
"I don't know."
..
"Uh.. Do you want this bag? It's kinda old and used but I think you'd like it! You know- to carry stuff easier.." I handed her the bag.
"I don't need it.. I can just put stuff in my shell."
Is she refusing my gift?
"Well, what if you run out of room, in your shell? Or what if it gets too heavy, huh?"
"..I guess I'll take it."
She took the bag from me and looked at it.
She placed it on the floor beside her.
"Sorry it's pretty old." I told her.
"It's fine I guess."
..
"Shouldn't you go before OJ locks the hotel doors?"
Oh crap-! I totally forgot about that!
"Oh yeah- Uhm- Bye!" I quickly ran to hotel OJ. It was pretty far away.
When I reached the hotel, I put my hand on the handle and tried to open it. Guess what? It wouldn't budge.
..
What do I do now? I think I'll go back to Taco. I don't want to be outside alone at night. I ran back to the area I last saw Taco at. I saw her walking away.
"Taco!"
She immediately recognized my voice and turned around. "Did you get locked out?"
I nodded.
"Can I- uh- stay with you?"
"I guess."
