Royal Navy Port
3rd POV
QE:are you certain of this information edinburgh?
Edinburgh:y-yes Your Majesty.
In the port of the Royal Navy QE, King George(KGV), Warspite, Illustrious were being informed by edinburgh about the discovery of the rescue fleet and was surprised by what they heard from the report.
George:a lost Iron Blood ship in such a remote place.
Illustrious:a child left alone in a cave for heavens knows how long.
Warspite:a cruel fate that nobody should face.
QE:indeed, even if she is our enemy such a fate should not be brought down to anyone especially a child.
Meanwhile
Rescue fleet- Medusa's ship
Medusa's POV
I was checking the supplies in the medical bay while the girl is sleeping covered in bandage wrapping and IV bags with sensors monitoring her vitals that was still weak but slowly going up.
BEEP BEEP!!!
Medusa:hmm?(looks at her watch)looks like it's done.
Stepping out of the room and down the hall, I open a door and enter my laboratory. Walking to the scanner it shows the extent of the damage on her cube and it was pretty bad.
Medusa:Jesus 83% of the cube is fractured and the rest is unstable, it's a damn miracle you're still alive.
KNOCK KNOCK
Wales:medusa, any news about her condition?
Entering my lab was Wales, Hood, Cheshire, Belfast, Enterprise and and Cleveland.
Medusa:weak but getting better.
Cleveland:and her cube?
Medusa:see for yourself.(steps aside)
They all got closer and was shocked by the condition of her cube. Looking into their eyes I knew they felt pity for her and I can see why.
Hood:my goodness, how can someone do this to a child.
Medusa:base on the damage on her ship and the estimated time she's been stuck in that cave, it's going to be close to a miracle to get her back up and fighting.
Enterprise:siren?
Medusa:lot of em. You gals got a secret dry dock the size of an H-class?
Belfast:we have plenty, but none of the hidden ones will fit her ship.
Cleveland:well we can't do it in the open, Iron Blood scouts and spies are everywhere.
Wales:indeed, if she is an Iron Blood then-
Enterprise:they'll think we captured one of their own and try to take her back.
Medusa:I might have a solution for that, but I'll have to do it alone.
Hood:you're already severely damaged from your battle with Kurfürst and Marco.
Medusa:I'll be good to fight after a day of rest, so don't worry.
They all seemed to want to protest but gave up that idea knowing that I knew what I was doing.
Medusa:Wales when I leave keep an eye on her, along with you Cheshire. Will the Queen be alright with that?
Wale:of course, she'll understand the situation and agree.
Small timeskip- Royal Navy Port
Wales:Your Majesty, we've returned.
QE:good to see you all are fine
Medusa:(sarcastic)they're fine, us not so much.
Enterprise:alright that's enough, all of you go to the medical bay and get check out while the majuus fix your ships.
Medusa:you lots go ahead, I still need to check on her cube to make sure it's alright, Wales you know the rest.
Receiving a nod from Wales, I headed to the laboratory in the base and re-energize the cube.
Timeskip- 5 hours later
Iron Blood Base
3rd POV
Kurfürst:how are they doing?
Köln:they received moderate damages from medusa's hedgehogs, so it's best if they don't partake in any fighting for at least 1 month.
Returning back to Iron Blood, Kurfürst took the 3 submarines being U-81, U-522, and U-96 into the infirmary to get treated and it was a good thing the damages was not too severe.
Köln:I heard U-47 say that "she" was there as part of the escort, and both you, Marco, and a few torpedoes managed to make her retreat.
Kurfürst:(chuckles)hehehe, we didn't make her retreat, she retreated her own accord.
Köln:(surprised)really?
Kurfürst:if she wasn't protecting the others with her then me, Lützow, and the rest of the Wolfpack in that mission would be in that bed with much worse injuries.
Hearing this, köln nodded knowing that even both Kurfürst and Z73 together will have a difficult time dealing with medusa.
Kurfürst:I'll leave them in your care köln, for now I need to rest after my fight with medusa.
Köln:(nods)of course Miss Kurfürst.
Leaving the room, Kurfürst headed to the dorms for the Battleships and arriving at the room both her and Friedrich share and went into her room to rest when she suddenly felt it, a warm familiar feeling in her heart that she thought she would never feel again, getting up from her bed, she walked to the window.
Kurfürst:(places her hand on her chest)this feeling, it can't be.(teary-eyed)Erika?
With Friedrich
Friedrich:(teary-eyed)this can't be, m-my child is it really you, yes it must be.
Feeling the warmth in her heart, Friedrich got on her knees and began to cry as she knew only one person could make her feel this way.
Friedrich:(crying)my child, it's you, it's really you, you're alive, you're alive, I-I'm so glad.
Sakura Empire
In the Sakura Empire, 2 kansens could be seen walking side by side being greeted by others passing by, when suddenly one of them felt a similar felling to kurfürst and friedrich, as she walks to the railings and looking at the ocean.
??:(shocked)this feeling.
??2:(concerned)what's wrong nee-san?
??:this feeling, I-it can't be.(teary-eyed)for so long, you've finally came back, my little kit.
??2:(surprised)nee-san, by k-kit you mean?
??:(crying)she's back, Erika's back, she's has finally returned.
Reverse timeskip- 2 hours ago
Medusa's POV
After getting treated and went to the lab and re-energize the cube and after all the preparation it was successful in the process.
Medusa:that should do it.(holds the cube)
KNOCK KNOCK
Enterprise:hey mindy, how's the cube?
Medusa:(shows the cube) like nothing even happened.
Enterprise:that's good to know. Want me to call the others to discuss our next move?
Medusa:that would be wise.
Enterprise:alright I'll call them right now.(leaves)
When enterprise left I put the cube in a tech box for safety, then made my way to my ship and made a call to one of my contacts.
??:medusa?
Medusa:the one and only.
??:what do you need?
Medusa:we found a ship in an island, been there for a while now, and it's damaged bad.
??:why me? You know there's someone else in my group that's more knowledgeable in this field.
Medusa:it's an Iron Blood ship, an H-class to be more precise.
??:an....H-class? That's not possible, friedrich and kurfürst should both be in Iron Blood right now.
Medusa:it's not those 2. Tell me, was there ever a third H-class?
When I asked the question, the line became dead silent and that means my gamble of contacting her was right on target.
Medusa:so you do know.
??:where?
Medusa:hmm?
??:where did you find her?
Medusa:on an island down south of the Mediterranean.
??:so that's where she's been.
Medusa:(curious)so who is she?
??:it's best if I tell you about her face to face. (Sends coordinates) I'll be here at this exact location, meet me here at 10 pm and come alone.(cuts the call)
Medusa:must be really important if she's willing to meet up in person.
With that done I headed to the meeting room and upon arriving there, the Eagle Union girls that came with me along with the round table of Lizzy
Medusa:well good to see everyone here.
QE:(annoyed)you're the one who told enterprise to call us here, yet we're the ones waiting for you!
Medusa:relax Liz, just made a call to my contact in Iron Blood to see if they know anything about the ship we found.
Cleveland:and did they find anything about her?
Medusa:(lies)afraid not, that girl is not in any records in the Iron Blood archive, no blueprints, no papers, not even a photo but they did find a name, Erika.
Wales:so we have someone who's identity is pretty much non-existent except for her name.
Hood:what about the cube. Can we finally give it back to her?
Medusa:that's what I called you all here for.
All of them looked at me in confusion as their faces tells me they didn't know why I didn't just put the cube back.
Illustrious:what do you mean by that medusa?
Medusa:we haven't really thought about the fact that once she wakes up, we don't know how she'll act once she sees us.
Enterprise:now that you put it like that, you're starting to make a point.
NC:yeah, but that doesn't mean we can just keep her like that and if we do then I'll jut say it loud and clear, we won't be any better than the sirens that put her in the state we found her in.
Hood:I agree with NC, even if she is an enemy she's also just a child.
Medusa:alright then, since all of the royals agree with waking her up along with a few eagles, then it's decided.
All of us then headed to the room where the girl was resting. Upon entering we saw the girl with sensors connected to a monitor that shows her vitals. Getting close to the girl I take out the cube and place it on her chest, and not a second later her entire body was engulfed, but soon died down.
Wales:did....it work?
Medusa:(looks at the monitor) everything looks good, she probably just needs to rest and she's good to go.
QE:(curious)so when will she wake up?
Medusa:probably tomorrow. But I doubt her waking up is the least of our worries.
Illustrious:what do you mean by that.
Medusa:this girl released something and kurfürst felt it.
Enterprise:how can you tell?
Medusa:me, Z73, and kurfürst were always in the same fleet whenever I go to the Atlantic before the split, and we kind of develop a mutual feeling where if someone feels something the other will feel a small part of it.
QE:and just now you knew what kurfürst felt.
(A/n: in this universe Kurfürst is still the mother of the first generation of Iron Blood ships like Bismarck and Graf Zeppelin, but for the other factions they only see her as a powerful ally and a formidable enemy.)
Medusa:yeah, but she doesn't know where she is.
With that in mind all of us left the room with Lizzy assigning some guards her while she sleeps.
In Iron Blood
3rd POV
Bismarck:(surprised)a-are you sure about this mutter?
Kurfürst:certain, that feeling I felt can only be her and friedrich felt it too.
Bismarck:alright, I will inform all the Wolfpack that are in patrol and let them search for any clues about her where she may be.
Kurfürst:(nods)good, but I also want you to focus near the Mediterranean and around the borders of the Royal Navy, I got this feeling medusa might have to do with this.
Bismarck:alright, is shall be be, I'll notify you if they find anything.
Hearing that kurfürst nodded at her daughter and left to go back to her room to check on the condition of her sister and try to comfort her if needed.
KNOCK KNOCK
Kurfürst:schwester, are you there?
Not getting a response, kurfürst knocked again to try and get a response.
Kurfürst POV
KNOCK KNOCK
Kurfürst:schwester, it's me please open up.
Getting worried I opened the door and went inside friedrich's room and there I saw her, my sister laying on her bed quietly crying as she held a picture in her chest.
Kurfürst:(worried)schwester.
Friedrich:(crying)she....she's, it's her, it has to be, my child.
Seeing my schwester in this state pained me as I sat beside her on the bed, patting her head as she held the picture I have seen before, a picture both of them took just days before her disappearance.
Kurfürst:don't worry schwester, we'll find her and bring her home.
Friedrich:but.....what if she....hate me?
Kurfürst:she won't, she will never hate you.
Friedrich:I wasn't there for her when she needed me, I broke my promise to protect her.
Kurfürst:ENOUGH FRIEDRICH!!!
I shouted in anger as I held friedrich's shoulders and forced her to look at me, her red teary eyes looking at mine filled with both sadness and hope.
Kurfürst:(angry)STOP SAYING THIS IS YOUR FAULT!!! STOP BLAMING YOURSELF!!! SHE VOLUNTEERED TO GO ALRIGHT?!!! SO PLEASE FRIEDRICH, JUST STOP!!!
I yelled at her venting all my frustration I've hidden, as tears began to go down my face as I began to cry.
Kurfürst:(crying)please, it hurts friedrich.....so much, my heart is already in pain from losing Erika and seeing you like this it's......you, you're hurting me even further friedrich.
Friedrich:(surprised) sch-schwester. I didn't mean to, I...I'm so sorry.(hugs kurfürst)
Kurfürst:(hugs back)it's ok, what's important now is to find her and bring her home.
Friedrich:yes, you're right we have to bring her home.
Kurfürst and Friedrich:and together we will be together again.
