Hello everyone!
First of all, I want to personally thank everyone for reading my story. I hope it made you laugh, made you cry, hit you in the feels, or helped you through a tough time - or, perhaps, all of the above.
When I write, I try to make my readers feel something. I witnessed it first hand just the other day and I felt a deep sense of accomplishment. If you felt nothing as you read the story, though, that's fine too. We're all entitled to our own opinions!
I say all of this to say that I will be working on a thorough edit of this story in 2024/2025. While editing, I will be sending in queries to agents and looking for beta readers to get opinions of my work from unbiased third parties. This story is one of my precious babies and I have a feeling it won't be too hard to get this one recognized with a little bit of tweaking.
While editing, I will be taking this story down and reposting when I'm finished. It won't be a major overhaul of the story, but it will change some things and add some scenes that I feel are missing from the story. For example, I will be editing the prologue so that it's a little easier to follow. I will be adding to the court scene so that the verdict comes in and add to the relationship between Jessie and Devin. Deepen their connection just a little as well.
After editing, I plan on adding some bonus chapters told from Devin's viewpoint during the time skip. They will be 抖阴社区 exclusive, meaning they will not be published elsewhere or disappear for any reason.
