London, 2 PM.

The sun shined brightly over the park, casting a warm glow on the field where the toddlers were about to have their very first football game. Parents gathered along the sidelines, a mix of excitement and laughter filling the air as little ones waddled in their brightly colored kits.

Naomi looked down at her daughter, Harper, who was dressed in a tiny football kit that matched her dad's—complete with a miniature jersey, shorts, and shiny new cleats. Harry had gone all out, and it showed. With a tiny ponytail adorned with a cute bow, Harper was the picture of excitement.

"Mummy! I run fast!" Harper declared, bouncing on her toes, her cheeks flushed with anticipation.

Naomi chuckled, ruffling her daughter's hair. "You sure do, baby. Just remember to listen to Daddy, okay?"

"Okay!" Harper giggled, her big blue eyes sparkling.

As the game began, Harry stood on the sidelines, practically vibrating with enthusiasm. He cheered loudly, his voice booming with encouragement. "Go, Harper! You got this, baby girl! Kick it!"

Naomi couldn't help but smile at the sight of her husband. He was wearing a matching kit, a lighthearted attempt to be the "cool dad," and it suited him perfectly. There was something incredibly attractive about the way he poured his heart into every moment, his energy contagious.

As the toddlers chased the ball—mostly in circles, giggling and stumbling—Harry remained on high alert. "Look at her! She's doing it!" he shouted, pointing as Harper charged towards the ball.

But then, in a moment of pure toddler confusion, Harper turned and ran in the opposite direction, headed towards a group of parents instead of the ball.

"No, no, no, baby! Other way!" Harry called out, a mix of panic and amusement in his voice. The other parents chuckled, and Naomi couldn't help but laugh too, watching as Harper giggled, blissfully unaware of her wrong turn.

"Harper! Come back!" Naomi called, trying to keep her tone light as she waved her arms, a smile plastered on her face.

Harper paused, turning around, her tiny brows furrowed in concentration. "Mummy! I kick ball!" she shouted, shaking her little fists in the air before sprinting back towards the game, her confidence returning.

"That's it! Go, baby! Run!" Harry cheered, clapping enthusiastically, his excitement evident as he jumped up and down like a kid himself. Naomi watched him, her heart swelling with admiration. He was the best dad, always so invested in everything Harper did.

As the game progressed, it was clear that the whole affair was meant to be fun rather than competitive. The toddlers mostly ran after each other, ignoring the ball in favor of playtime. But Harry's cheering never wavered; he was fully committed to celebrating every little success.

"Look at her! She's a natural!" he exclaimed, as Harper finally managed to kick the ball, though it barely rolled forward.

Naomi smiled, unable to contain her affection. Harry's energy was intoxicating, and seeing him as a father filled her with warmth. "She is so lucky to have you," she said softly, leaning into him as they watched their daughter's antics unfold.

As the game came to an end, Harper rushed toward them, a bright smile on her face, her little ponytail bouncing with each step. "I kick ball! Daddy! Mummy! Watch me!" she exclaimed, excitement radiating from her.

Naomi knelt down to embrace her, laughing as she scooped Harper into her arms. "You were amazing, lovey! We're so proud of you!"

Harry joined them, wrapping his arms around both of his girls. "You rocked it, girly! Next time, let's practice kicking it the right way, okay?"

"Okay!" she beamed, looking between her parents, her joy palpable.

As they left the field, hand in hand, Naomi felt a flutter of happiness. Their little family was perfect, filled with love and laughter. The thought of another child danced in her mind, playful and enticing. Life with Harry was an adventure, and she wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

With their hearts full and the promise of tomorrow ahead, they walked together, ready for whatever adventures life would bring next.
