Vincent would never have imagined his life would turn out like this. Here he was sitting on an expensive couch. Sitting next to his boyfriend with a mug in hand. A slight red noticeable in the coffee. If he could tell his future self that he lived wealthy, but ate people and dated a man he knew his past self would freak the fuck out and make sure it wouldn't happen. Though he found he doesn't mind. It was scary at first. Yet a human life was a small price to pay for being able to taste. Rody nuzzled against Vincent's neck. Causing him to let out a soft chuckle. It took some time but rather quickly the two slipped back into their previous relationship comfortably. Though he wouldn't tell Rody that he was thinking about possibly proposing. Not right away, but in another year or so perhaps.
"I hope the customers will like the new meals." Rody said as he stared straight ahead at the television.
"I'm sure they will. We did spend the last months getting a large enough supply." Vincent replied as Rody chuckled.
"Do you think they'll notice?" Rody shook his head.
"None of the chefs had noticed when they used it yesterday. I think we'll be fine." Vincent smiled as they two looked at the screen reporting the news. A list of names on the bottoms followed by photos flashing over it. All of which were declared as missing. If only they had been such terrible people maybe then they wouldn't be made for food.
