Previously on Ninjago:
"Guys," (Y/N) groaned, her hands trembling. "I think I might need to let go of the sails."
"Just keep that thing away from us!" Cole shouted.
(Y/N) moved her other hand toward the hurricane as well, yelling out as she used all her strength and thrusted her palms forward with all the force she could muster. The hurricane changed directions, now heading away from them, and (Y/N) gasped, collapsing but grabbing onto the rails.
However, the force of the natural Wind overtook Cole and Lloyd's manpower, changing the direction of their sails and thus, their boat.
"Brace yourself!" Lloyd yelled as their boat headed straight for a pile of rocks in the sea.
(Y/N) barely had time to look up or process what had happened before everything went black.

On a Wish and a Prayer - Part 2
The Ninja crashed on the Tiger Widow Island itself, groaning as they regained their bearings.
(Y/N) gasped as her eyes flew open. Lloyd, already by her side, placed a hand on her back, his eyes full of concern.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"Yeah," she breathed out, taking his other hand as he helped her onto her feet.
They noticed the others nearby, and (Y/N) frowned when she saw no sign of Zane. "Where's Zane?" Lloyd asked as well.
"Maybe he's lost at sea," Nya suggested as she got to her feet, the four of them, minus Jay (who crawled toward his book, Cliff Gordon's Handbook to Wooing Women), looking out at the waves.
(Y/N) bent as she noticed Minidroid pieces in the sand, grabbing a white pawn, and the worst scenario played in her mind. "Nindroids don't get lost," she muttered.
"It was Nadakhan," Cole said, still sitting on the sand. "But don't ask me how I know, ask Jay."
(Y/N)'s stomach dropped, and she knew that the time for hell had come. Lloyd and Nya turned to Jay with shocked and confused expressions.
"What is he talking about, Jay?" Nya asked him.
"Uh..." In his head, he thought of something else. Chapter two, don't tell them the truth. Tell them what they want to hear. He rushed to his feet, pointing at a random spot in the sea. "Look, there's Zane!"
Lloyd and Nya gasped, rushing behind him and trying to follow his finger's direction.
"What?" Nya asked.
"Huh?" Lloyd narrowed his eyes. "Where?"
(Y/N) facepalmed. "Is he seriously not gonna come clean even now?"
"There!" Jay continued on his façade. "There!"
"The only thing I can see is your stupid hand, Jay," Nya deadpanned.
"No, no, look! He's there!"
Done with Jay, Cole marched over to them while (Y/N) trailed behind. "Enough is enough!" Cole exclaimed. "Jay-"
Jay placed a hand over his mouth, muffling him. He let out a nervous chuckle. "What Cole meant to say was-"
Lloyd turned to (Y/N) instead. "Ok, you clearly know what's going on here," he said. "Tell me."
(Y/N) chuckled, panicked gaze turning to Cole and Jay; Cole nodded his head, and Jay shook his head, eyes wide.
"(Y/N)."
"Ok, fine!" She threw her hands up. "Jay has already been alone with Nadakhan. The mansion, the boat, he wished for them."
"You swore you wouldn't say anything!" Jay exclaimed.
"You couldn't expect me to keep things from Lloyd for long!" (Y/N) argued.
Cole pushed Jay's hand away. "The reason he's here and the others aren't is because Jay never made his third wish," Cole explained. "And if Zane knew that, maybe he'd still be here."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Nya asked, sounding betrayed.
"I'm sorry," Jay apologised. "I just couldn't."
"It's because when he saw his future, you were with him," Cole said to Nya, causing her jaw to drop in shock.
(Y/N) recalled her own future that she had seen with Lloyd in it, but she had yet to tell the others.
"You told me we were never gonna happen," Jay said to Nya. "I thought maybe these wishes were the very thing that would bring us together. I had to try."
Nya placed her hands on her hips, glaring at him. She poked Jay's chest. "Well, I know who just nominated themselves to extract the Tiger Widow's venom."
She walked toward the forest in the distance, and the other three followed, leaving Jay at the end, who felt guilty about his actions.
"In my defence, I did just find out my parents are not my birth parents," Jay called out, but none of them turned around to look at him and continued walking. "Nothing? Really?"
He gave up and grabbed his book from the sand before following them.

They made it to the forest, crossing an old, tattered bridge across a massive gap between cliffs, jagged rocks peaking from the endless drop.
Lloyd took the lead, followed by (Y/N), Cole, Nya, and Jay at the rear. "The Tiger Widow's den should be just up ahead," Lloyd said. "Watch your step."
"You don't have to tell me twice," Cole muttered.
Jay sighed. "Just how am I supposed to extract this dangerous venom?" he asked. "Can I ask it nicely?"
"Well, maybe if Zane hadn't been captured," Nya quipped back over her shoulder. "We would have a Nindroid around to tell you."
"Ooh, that's a low blow," Jay grumbled. "I mean, do we know anything about this Tiger Widow? Other than, it was named to strike terror in the hearts of men."
Lloyd made it across the bridge, holding his hand out to (Y/N) and helping her over the last few steps. Jay sighed, noticing their adoring expression and wondering why he and Nya couldn't be like them.
They finally made it across the bridge. "Zane told me it's the last of its species," Cole said. "So, it sounds like you've only got one chance at this. But I'm sure you'll be just fine- What are you doing now?" Cole asked in exasperation as Jay rushed past him and lay down on a white hammock hanging between two trees.
"Resting my feet on this hammock," he replied. "We've been walking for miles. If I have to face this thing alone, I'm gonna need to be well-rested."
"Jay, I don't think that's a hammock," Lloyd muttered.
Jay followed his gaze above him and saw a giant spider web, a skeleton hanging on it. Jay screamed and panicked, only to get stuck in the web he lay on.
(Y/N) and Lloyd stifled their laughs as he thrashed around.
"Aah! Get it off me! Aah! Get it off of me! Get it off of me!" He broke free, destroying the web as he fell to the ground. Some web remained on his face, and he yanked it off, spitting out the one that had gotten into his mouth.
"We have to keep moving," Nya said, beginning to walk off.
Jay groaned as he got to his feet, falling behind everyone once again. "Haven't I suffered enough?"
"No!" the others exclaimed.
***
They finally reached a cliff, a valley below them, and a stream flowing from their left to a cave at their right, shaped like a mouth.
"There it is," Lloyd pointed out. "The nest."
"Well then, what are you waiting for?" Cole asked Jay.
"Well, I'm sorry if I'm not jumping down there right this instant," Jay said, frustrated. "Do you see what I'm seeing? Of course not!" He exclaimed. "Because all I see is my life flashing before me!"
"Now, are you ready?" Nya asked.
"Whatever happened to sticking together?" Jay shrieked. "What if Nadakhan persuades me to say my final wish? Any number of bad things could easily happen to me alone down there!"
The others glared at him, (Y/N) more impatient than anything else.
Jay sighed, realising that he wouldn't get any pity points from them. "I have no friends." Jay walked over to the cliff, book still in hand, as he grabbed a vine and headed down to the valley.
"Use your canteen to collect the venom!" Cole called out to him as they saw him walk over to the mouth of the cave.
"Thank you, Mr. Helpful, but I got this!" He yelled back before disappearing into the cave.
A few minutes later, they heard Jay screaming like a girl, and (Y/N) burst out laughing.
"Aah!" he screamed. "It's so big! How do I get venom when his fangs only come out when he tries to bite me!?"
"Then let him bite you!" Cole yelled back.
"If I get out of here, I'm gonna bite you!" Jay shouted back.
They heard an engine, and they looked toward the sky, their eyes widening when they saw a small aircraft heading for them, Dogshank hanging on a chain descending from the plane.
"Sky Pirates!" Cole exclaimed.
"Take cover!" Lloyd yelled, and they dived towards the cover of the trees to avoid the bomb that dropped on them.
(Y/N) peeked out from behind a tree, noticing nobody around her. "Oh, this isn't good," she grumbled. She pulled out her blades, stepping back into the surroundings as she spun around in a circle.
"Are you ready for your wishes?"
She spun around, throwing one of her blades, but Nadakhan disappeared, and her blade got stuck in the bark of a tree instead.
"(Y/N)!" She heard Lloyd calling out for her.
"I'm okay!" she yelled back, directing her palm toward her blade and using the vines around the trees to pull it out and throw it back to her, catching it in time.
"I see the fangs!" Jay's voice called out from the cave.
"Then hurry up and get the venom!" Lloyd yelled back.
"Oh, sorry for the delay! I've never had to milk the fangs of a giant spider before!" Jay retorted.
Lloyd hid behind a rock, but his attention shifted when he saw the Sky Pirates fly by his hiding spot in their aircraft. He ran out, jumping over the cliff but summoning his Energy Dragon.
He flew after their aircraft, and (Y/N) noticed him giving chase and the fact that Dogshank jumped down from the aircraft.
Nadakhan didn't make an appearance with her again, so she assumed he must be with one of the other Ninja.
On cue, Cole yelled out. "I got him! Hahaha! I actually landed one on him!"
"I got it!" Jay yelled and (Y/N) whipped toward the cave as he ran out of it and climbed the vines, the Tiger Widow chasing him. "I actually got it!"
Jay arrived on the other side of the cliff, and (Y/N) noticed that Nadakhan had also spotted him.
"Get the venom!" the djinn yelled.
(Y/N)'s eyes widened, and she cut through the forest on their side of the cliff, screeching to a halt when she saw Nya and Cole.
Lloyd's dragon roared above them, and he landed with them, pointing over their shoulders. "Protect Jay!" he yelled.
They turned around and saw Jay running toward them, screaming in fear as the Tiger Widow chased him.
"Oh, fiddlesticks," (Y/N) groaned.
"That's one big spider!" Cole exclaimed.
"Hurry!" Lloyd yelled, and they began running away from it as well, reaching the bridge they had crossed once again. But when they were almost on the other side, the bridge dropped from the immense weight of the Spider that followed them.
They grabbed onto each other, forming a chain. "The bridge isn't strong enough!" Lloyd warned. "Hold on!"
They yelped as the bridge broke in half, and Jay almost fell to his doom, but Cole grabbed him by the canteen in his hand. "Gotcha!"
"Aah!" Jay screamed, looking down and noticing the spider on the broken bridge. "Haven't I suffered enough?"
The spider crawled toward them. "Getting closer," Nya said in terror.
"Oh, you don't say!" Jay yelled out as the Tiger Widow tried to grab him, but he used his legs to keep it off him.
Nadakhan appeared beside Jay, sipping on something in a cup.
"You have got to be kidding me," (Y/N) groaned.
"You are certainly in a precarious position," he said to Jay. "Time is running out, but you have one wish left. You can wish it all-"
"Blah, blah, blah," Jay said, cutting him off. "You think I'm thick enough to fall for that trick? No way! I'd rather be eaten by a spider than listen to your beguiling voice."
"Then have it your way." The cup in Nadakhan's hand turned into a small dagger, and he hit it at the canteen Jay held, causing him to let go.
"No!" Jay yelled, falling toward the darkness of the void.
"Jay!" the others yelled in horror.
However, Nadakhan appeared when Jay fell, grabbing him in mid-air and taking the canteen from him.
"Now, say goodbye to the only thing that can stop me," Nadakhan smirked as he tipped the canteen over, spilling its contents while Jay watched with a helpless expression.
"No! No, no, no! No..."
"And say goodbye to your friend," Nadakhan mocked.
The Tiger Widow had followed Jay and loomed above them. It went to lunge at them, but Nadakhan saw it and disappeared with Jay, causing the Tiger Widow to fall to its doom.
Since no spider threatened them, the other Ninja got onto solid ground, sighing in relief. But their moment lasted short because the Sky Pirates' aircraft flew above them, their eyes widening when they saw Jay in it with Nadakhan, his mouth muffled with tape.
"I'll be back for the rest of you," Nadakhan called out to them. "And since you can't get off the island, I'll know exactly where to find you."
He laughed, and the aircraft flew off, out of their sight.
"Should we fly after them?" Cole asked.
Nya answered instead of Lloyd or (Y/N). "No," she said. "Save your strength."
"But he has Jay," Lloyd protested. "And he just got rid of the only thing that can stop him."
"No, he didn't." Nya smiled.
They looked at her in confusion. "Huh?"
"He emptied the wrong canteen," Nya revealed, pulling out another canteen.
"Nya, you're brilliant!" (Y/N) cheered.
"You mean-" Cole began.
"We have the only thing that can stop him!" Lloyd finished.
"And better yet, they don't know we have it," Nya said, grinning. "Jay suffered enough. It's time they do the suffering."
"Wise words, wise words indeed," (Y/N) added with a smirk, causing the others to laugh.
