THE WEDDING DAY
It's the day of Nunew and Max's wedding. An anticipated day for the invited once but not with the grooms who would be joining the sacred union.
The wedding is held in the hotel that is owned by the Keerati family.
Everyone is ready. From Nunew's friends who was there to witness their friends marriage. The Kornthas family who has waited for this moment to come, especially the old man Kornthas who've been dreaming his grandson to marry his friends grandson too.
The family friends and the business association who were also invited by both families.
But the Keerati patriarch is seen to be ready with their elegant suit. They are getting ready for something else. It's to announce the cancelation of the wedding. Will except for Nunew's mom, Pat who didn't know the plan and to Nunew who has been in his room suit and was now wearing his groom suit.
They didn't tell Nunew about it as this would be their surprised to him.
The wedding would be held in an hours now. And Nunew was just waiting for the time to come. He is waiting for them to announce that he should now go to the wedding ceremony.
He looked at his face in the mirror. He saw his reflection as a small star earrings were put on his ear. Then he looked at his hand that has a bracelet that Max had gifted to him was decorated in his wrist and the engagement ring of the family Kornthas was on his fingers.He may look handsome and beautiful but he can see his eyes were filled with agony.
This is what he chooses so he won't back out now. This is the way it's supposed to be.
The door opens and his mother came in wearing his beautiful dress.
"Nu son. Can I talk to you?" She asks with a smile that never reaches her eyes.
"What is it mom?" He then ask while sitting in the bed looking up to her.
She walk towards him and sat beside him.
"You're not happy." She said directly looking at him sadly.
"Zee came last night." she continues. I look down as I felt ashamed of what I did to Zee last night. "Aren't you hurting yourself more son." She again said. My tears fall but I immediately look away and wipe it off.
"It doesn't matter. As long as grandpa would be happy." I said reasoning out to her
"Do you think he would be happy seeing you like this?" She said making me really think if my grandfather would really be happy seeing me not happy at all.
"Zee loves you too son" she said again
"Mom.. He let go of me already. So there's no point in that." I said making her understand that there's no point of that all.
"I want you to be happy. Think about this please? There's still time to back out son. Please, I beg you son think about your happiness and not others." She said pleading him and Nunew look down on his feet.
Should he listen to him. Should he back out now.
What about his grandfather's health and the humiliation it would bring to there family.
"If you're thinking about the humiliation that is not important here. Your happiness is the most important. I'll talk about this to, Pa. Please son. Think more of your self, okay?" As she holds my hands giving me assurance.

At the wedding hall an elegant design was filled the whole place. The red carpet was placed from the entrance hall to the altar, and the flowers were designed at each side of the altar. The whole place was beautiful and elegant.
A perfect wedding that anyone would want to have, but the grooms who think the opposite. This maybe a wedding anyone would want but not them. The wedding is a suicide to them both.
Max was on the other room close to the event hall sitting on his bed as he was busy calling Nat who didn't answer his call. He may be crazy for still calling him but he just want to hear his voice. Nat already give up on them bothm
Another call but still no answer from him.
Max sigh and stand up. He look at the window and saw the whole Thailand. The busy streets of Thailand where people are being free to choose what they want.
He hope he could choose what he really wants without losing anything.
I tears started to fall on his eyes, but he immediately wipe it off.
Maybe there is another way for this all.
His eyes darted on the table, then he saw the boxes Zee wanted to give to Nunew on this day. He doesn't know what's with the box, but an idea came into his mind as he was supposed to give it to Nunew. Maybe he can change Nunew's mind now. It's not yet too late. It's now or never.
There's still 2 hours left before the wedding would start. Maybe he can try and change Nunew's mind.
Max grab the box and walk out the door and walk to Nunew's room. He saw Aunty Pat who just came out from the room and now heading to the wedding hall.
He immediately came inside Nunew's room and lock the door. This is not something anyone can hear. He need a little private time to talk to him.
Nunew was shocked seeing Max in his room who's holding a box in his hand. He frowned when he saw a determined look on Max's eyes.
"What are you doing here Max? You're supposed to be waiting in the wedding hall now."He ask confused of Max actions.
Max sigh and walk to Nunew. He handed the box to him and Nunew took it with confusion in his eyes.
"Zee gave that to you. He said I'll give that after the wedding but I'll give it earlier." Max said that makes Nunew frown more looking at the box. Will he already know Zee wouldn't be coming and he expected it. But a gift? he doesn't expect that at all.
"Nunew, Zee said he'll be leaving Thailand today. And he would not be coming back ever again." Max said and Nunew instantly look up to Max, shock was written on his face.
He knows Zee would forget him and move on. But he didn't know he would be leaving Thailand and never come back again.
"You love him right?" Max successfully ask. That's the thing he wanted to ask Nunew long ago but he doesn't have the will to do it. Now he can see the sadness in his eyes. As tears started to fall but Nunew looked up trying to hold back his tears.
"Nong, there's always a way for everything. If you love Zee choose him. Don't be trap in this marriage that we can't ever come out anymore." Max pleads him.
Nunew look down on the box and slowly sat back on the bed.
He opens the box and sees his favorite red shirt that Zee had given to him. It's the first gift he had received from him.
Then he saw his clean shoes. The shoes that he had left the night something happened to them. His first that he had given to him whole heartedly.
He holds back his emotions and started to open the box that was beautifully wrap with a ribbon.
When he finished unwrapping it he open the box and what comes to view makes his tears fall rapidly.
He look more closely and saw it was the same as his necklace. But it was a gold necklace, his necklace was silver.
"W..when did he give this to you?" He looks up to Max as tears still streaming in his eyes.
"Two days ago nong." Max said. Nunew now can sure that it is not the same necklace as what Zee gifted to him that was now in Zee's hands, and maybe he already throw it. But why there's another one.
That's what's on his mind. Then maybe the necklace was in pairs.
He takes the necklace out of the box and holds it carefully, pain is now unbearable in his heart.
He slowly push the brush in and it click, just the same as his the necklace has an opening.
Nunew slowly opened the necklace and he saw a name. Zee's name and with a heart after.
Very the same as his. A totally pair necklace Zee had customize.
Then suddenly he noticed a letter was come with it.
He takes it and open it immediately. Then he read the content.
' My Nunu baby,
The moment you read this. I'm not here in Thailand anymore. We would never gonna see each other again. I know you would be upset that I am now breaking a promise to you. The first time I'm gonna break a promise.But this is how it is.
I'm going to leave you now. I'm sorry
You may think I'm unfair. But that's what's best for us Nunu.
I've been persistent on my feelings for you and that's hurting you. I'm going to say sorry for pushing you to the limit that now breaks the only thing that we've connected to 'our friendship'.
But Nunu, I'm not gonna say sorry for loving you, cuz that's the first thing I've learned to do, than to be the best friend that you wanted to.
One thing I never regret is the day that I admit to myself that I love you more than you could even think.
Maybe Loving you is hard but I would always count and wish to all the falling stars that someday your love would belong to mine'
And maybe in another life we could be together as a lover and not just a friend.

He bawl and cry with the painful reality he was in. Zee is now leaving him forever.

ZEE'S POV
"Thank you for driving us here nong" I said thanking my brother Tutor for driving us here in the airport.
"That's the least thing I would do Phi. I would not be seeing for long." Tutor said as he help me put down all my baggages.
"You're still gonna see me in christmas nong. I'll be going home in China by then." I said as I put my other things in my trolley.
"Ohh yeah mom and dad is still contacting me about you going back to take over the company." He said and I sigh.
"You know you can't just run away being the oldest and the heir." grinning at me.
"You're the youngest and also an heir you have the responsibility to take over that company to." I said and started to walk to the entrance as he followed me in.
"Ohh come on Phi. Why am I here taking over your company? That's because I don't want to be part of that war between the Wang's." he said that makes him pout.
"Moreover gege, Dad is still young and strong to face those money hunger brothers of him." He said that makes me smile. I miss him calling me his gege.
"Don't worry about that Nong. I'll be talking about this to dad when I go back to China" I said and place all my things to be check.
"Will you not be back here again. Nunew-" he tried ta say but I stop him.
"Don't talk about him nong, please. He's now getting married." I said directly and he look at me sadly.
"You're not going to do anything? I thought when you go to him last night you're going to change his mind." He said. "But guess you didn't change it" he mumbled that I can still hear.
What happened to us last night was the most unforgettable but painful memories for me. After making love with him for the last time and saying those goodbyes and letting go. I cuddle him and kiss him for hours before I changed and go back home.
"I let him go already nong." I said that makes him sigh deeply.
"I wish I could help you take the pain away Gege." He said before he pull me a hug.
I don't want to show how painful it is to let go of Nunew. But guess I can't hide it. He can see through me.
My tears fall on my eyes unconsciously but I wipe it away when I noticed Net was standing in front of us.
"I would be happy if you didn't come." Net said directly. Tutor instantly pull from the hug and look at Net who was carrying his duffle bag. I sadly smile at him as I take my bag on my shoulder.
"Hi! Phi Net. " Tutor greeted
"Hello nong Tutor." He respond and tap Tutor's shoulder. Then he looked at me again.
"Are you ready to let go of everything here bro?" He said that makes me paused. I look away as pain in my heart contracted on my chest.
Am I ready? I don't know. But I have to. It's the only way for me.
I sigh and look at him.
"Let's go." I said
NUNEW'S POV
"Nong. It's okay" I didn't notice Max had sat on my side as he was rubbing my back trying to comfort me. I bawl and cry even more as Max hugs me tightly. His letter is like a waking call to me.
"He's going to leave me for good Phi Max." As I cried even more while holding the letter and the necklace in my hand. Why do we need another life time to be together. Why do he needs to wish to all the stars when I know with just one decision I can be his forever.
I can't imagine life without him. So why am I hesitating now.
Max was right there's a way for everything. My mom was also right it isn't too late to back out now.
"I can't just let him go and do nothing Max." I said and let go of the hug. I wipe my tears then i immediately stand.
"Do you think he already flies back to Europe now?" I ask him in panic. I can't let him go like this.
"Let me call him." Max said as he grab his phone and call Zee. My hope fades away when his phone was unattended.
Max called him once again as I waited for Zee to answer but he didn't answer at all. His call was sent to voicemail.
"Wait. Let me call Tutor." Max said talking about Zee's younger brother. I waited when the call started to ring then in just a minute he answers. I sigh in relief when I heard Tutor's voice.
"Hello Phi Max?" As he answers.
"Nong. Where is Zee?" Max asked immediately.
"He's at the airport. Why Phi?" Tutor answers that makes my heart sunk. Is that means he's now flying back to Europe now.
"What is the time of his flight?" Max ask again. Tutor paused then he answers.
"In one and half hour from now Phi. Why?" Tutor said and my heart leaps up. God I still have time to go to him.
"Okay thank you Nong." Max said and instantly put down the phone as he didn't answer Tutor's why.
"He's still in the airport now Nong. Are you going to him" Max ask
"Yes, phi. It's now or never." I said. I walk towards the door but look back again and walk towards him.
"I should have done this before. I shouldn't have told you this " I look at him as he was frowning in confusion.
"I'm sorry Max I won't marry you anymore." I said that makes him smile widely. He immediately pulls me for a tight hug as I respond and hug him to
"Thank you Nong. I would forever be greatful to you. I wish for your happiness." He said then he kissed my head and thanked me again. I smiled and nodded
"Go back to the one you love and say my sorry." I said as I know I've hurt them to.
"I will nong Nunew." He said
Now I think I should not waste my time here.
"I should go now Phi." I immediately grab my phone and car keys while I'm still holding the necklace in my hand and walk to the door.
I went out the door as Max followed me out and stop at the door looking at me strides at the hall way. I walk to the wedding hall and went towards my grandfather who was standing and talking to my father.
"Ohh son. Is there something wrong?" My father ask. My mom walks towards us.
I immediately face my grandfather.
"Grandpa, I'm going to disappoint you today. But please don't think that I'm doing this because I don't love you. I'm just going to chase my happiness." I started as my tears started to fall.
I don't want to be their disappointment but I guess I should be for now. They would forgive when time comes.
"I'm sorry grandpa I'm not going to get married anymore. I'm cancelling this wedding" Then I said it and the people who's invited in the wedding heard gasp of what I said.
The Kornthas family who heard me couldn't believe what I said and was speechless.
I look at my grandpa who was now smiling at me. I frown as I look at the faces of my family. I thought I would see disappointment and anger but all I could see was happiness in there.
My mom smiled so widely at me and hold my hand.
"I was waiting for you to say that son" my grandfather said as he gets my hands and holds it.
"Go chase your happiness. We'll be here to support you." He said and hug me and I hug him in response as cry a happy tears.
When my grandfather let's go my father instantly embraced me. "You are so brave my son. I'm soo proud of you. Get your own happiness okay." As he whispered rubbing my back.
Then my mom joins the hug.
"Your happiness is the most important thing in this family. I'm proud of you for choosing the happiness you deserve." She said as my dad let's go of me. Then she kissed me on my check and hugged me back again
"I love you all." I said as I smiled and looked at the three of them with happiness.
Then I suddenly remember Zee, the man I love.
"I have to go now." I said in a rush and ran to the exit.
I went to my car and drove out of the place immediately.
"Hia wait for me." I said. He drive straight to the highway and went to the airport.

"Pen, aren't you going to stop your grandson." The Kornthas Patriarch said.
"No, Tor . My grandsons happiness is more important than anything else." Pens said before he went up the makeshift altar and get the microphone.
"Good morning everyone." He started as everyone who was looking at his grandson who ran away give him a look.
"This may be a shock to all of you. But this wedding is cancelled." They all gasp. "My grandson is not marrying Max anymore. I'm sorry for wasting your time. For you Tor." As he looked at his best friend who was still in shock. "The business collaboration would still be continued and everything. But I'm sorry I will need to end this"
Tor sighed and nodded as he tapped his son's shoulder, Max's father for understanding.
Max who was standing on the entrance looked at Nunew's grandfather and waid for a thank you.
'Everything is going to be okay now' Max smiled before he walked away and went to his car.

The brakes in his car went haywire. Nunew try to take it to control but he was struggling to take it back.
"No no no.." he shouted
He's car was heading to a cliff on speed. His eyes went wide.
"Ooh God stop.. No, please stop this." he shout trying to control again the brakes but the speed of his car is faster as he was expecting.
His car hit all the signage that's blocking his cars way.
It's like everything happens in a slow motion. His voice echoed as he shouted. His car went down the cliff banging all the things blocking its way tumbling it on big rocks at the bottom.
He felt his head hit hard many time on the cars front glass, then another one hit making him bleed everywhere almost losing now his consciousness.
He wanted to find help. He tried to open the door but it was blocked. He was losing his breath.
He knows he can't be saved on time.
But he wants to see his Hia.
God he can't die without him knowing what he truly felt. He can't die without saying the word I love you.
He looked down and saw his phone He tried to reach it but he failed many times until he finally took it.
One person he only need to talk right now. He opened his phone while his hands were trembling. It was crack but he can still used it.
His breath hitch as he was struggling to stay alive and conscious.
He put the phone on as he calls Zee but he was sent to a voicemail just like when Max was calling him.
He try to call again but still didn't reach him. Many time he did it but to no avail it always not reachable.
Then he lost hope. As his consciousness slowly fading in the background. He called him again but another voicemail was put on then without hesitation even if he couldn't hear his voice at least he could hear the last words he wanted to say to him. Even if he struggled to talk anymore he needs to try.
"H- Hia.. I love you so much..hah.. I love you too so much Hia."
He felt his blood spilled in his mouth as he trembled trying to catch his breath.
Then he saw his car starting to burn by the fire that started on the back.
His tears fall in his eyes. How can life be so unfair.
All he want was to get to Zee but he can't. He was there in a place where his life is ending.
"I'm sorry Hia.. Maybe in another life we can meet again" as he said while he can feel his body envelope by the heat of that's starting to burn his car.
" I'm sorry mom, dad, grandpa.. I failed. Let's all see each other again. Let's see each other in another life Hia.." he lastly said as he take his last breathe and closed his eyes.
In just a minute the car exploded. As the body burn along with it.

Thirty minutes before the rescue team came as their sirens echoed the whole place. They were now all too late. The car was already burned and he was dead. Firefighters help to put off the fire and when the fire stops they take the car out of the cliff.
They take his dead and burn body out of the car. They now need to inform the families of him.
They immediately call the family and went directly to the nearest hospitals mourge.

ZEE'S POV
The last call for passenger was heard and they both stand and went on carrying their bags.
I stop for a second and look back. I remember how I went here as this is my mother county and decided to study here too. Now I'm leaving for good, maybe I'll be coming for my business that's been taking care of it now.
"Zee..?" Net calls and I look at him as I smiled weakly.
"Let's go." I said and he nodded. We were lining up to go up in our plane when my phone rings. I suppose to ignore it but it was too persistent. He knows it was Tutor as he block everyone in except him. Maybe he needs to change his number.
I sigh when Tutor continue calling me. I decided to answer it for once.
"Tutor what do you want?" I ask and sigh.
Then I heard him sobbing. I frown as what happened to him and why he is crying.
"Are you okay nong?" I ask but he didn't talk and continue to cry.
"Nong what happened to you?" I ask in concern.
"P..phii.. it's nong, nong Nunew." My heart beats faster as I heard him say his name. What is happening here.
"Phii.. aahh..Nunew" he said as my hand started to shake with so much worry an anxiousness.
"What happened to Nunew Nong?" As I waited for him to say.
"Phii Zee..aahh.. Nu..Nunew is Dead." My world spin as all of the people around feels like far away and their voices were just echoing in the back ground. I don't know what is happening anymore. Maybe I heard it wrong right.
"Zee?..Zee .Zee bro." I look at Net as he look at me in shock. My tears were dropping in my eyes uncontrollably. I was just standing there not moving.
I still hear Tutors voice crying on the background but I don't feel anything in the moment. It's like I was stop to feel any emotions.
Net gets the phone from me and talk to Tutor. Net gasp as he heard the news as he hold back himself not to cry for me.
Everyone was on the plane but we still outside couldn't know what's happening in the world. Then suddenly I felt Net shaking me hard.
"Zee listen.. Let's go back now." I look at him in blank as tears still falling in my eyes.
"Net.. tell me it's not true." I ask him, cuz maybe this happening to me is just a dream. Nunew was there and no one called me telling me he was dead. Right he was alive.
Tears fall on his eyes and that wakes me up.
"Oohh. No .My Nunu.." I said and ran back to the terminal and ran to the exit door of the airport while Net immediately followed after.
I went out of the airport and I went to the first taxi that I saw.
"I'm sorry where just in a hurry." I saw Net bowing instantly at someone who I stole the taxi with. Then he came in after telling the driver the way.
My tears never stop from falling. I want to shout and to be angry, but to who, for who. I don't even know if who I want to be furious on about. I don't know who I would turn in this kind of situation. Who i would blame. Cuz why suddenly he was dead?
Nunew, my Nunew is dead. No, I need to see for myself. I'm not believing any of this. He is not dead until I see it, until I say so.
Nunew is alive and I'm believing anything until I saw him.
'you can't leave me like this my Nunu.'
