Becky's POV:
I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness when Freen told me she was meeting her friends for dinner. I had been spending so much time with her, and the thought of her being without me for a few hours felt strange.
But I knew I couldn't stop her. Freen needed to spend time with her friends, and I couldn't monopolize her entire life.
Irin had asked me to meet her at a diner that evening, saying she wanted to introduce me to her girlfriend. I agreed, curious about who this person might be.
The day went by quickly. I met with Nop Xavier and was impressed by his business proposal. We had lunch together, and I felt at ease with him. He seemed like someone who could be a good friend.
After lunch, I headed to the diner where Irin was waiting. As I walked in, I was surprised to see Freen sitting with a group of people. And then it hit me - Irin's girlfriend was Noey, Freen's friend!
I felt a rush of happiness seeing Freen there. Without thinking, I walked over to her and hugged her, earning a smirk from one of her friends, Nam.
As we chatted, I felt comfortable with Freen's friends. They were teasing her and telling stories about her, which I enjoyed. I noticed that Freen was happy with them, and it felt good to see her like that.
As the evening drew to a close, Freen and I walked out of the diner together, holding hands. It felt natural, like we were meant to be together.
As I looked at Freen, I realized that I wanted her to be my girlfriend. But I didn't want to rush her or corner her into anything. I was happy to take things slow and see where our relationship went.
As soon as we got to Freen's place, I changed into something comfortable and snuggled into her arms. It was my happy place, and I felt grateful to have Freen in my life.
"I love you," Freen whispered, as we drifted off to sleep.
"I love you too," I replied, smiling.
