I was in my apartment. I hadn't left in two weeks. Makarov called me and he came over to discuss next steps. He offered three weeks of sick time off and that the professors would send me my assignments and notes. He also said that the blog was shut down and the writer was being reprimanded. Turns out she's in my class with levy and was upset that I seem to be doing well, better than her infact.
Finding out i was a heartfilia was a she needed to attack me.

Boy did shit hit the fan.
I went to Lucy apartment but she refused to let me in her apartment. I ran to her door on the day she called me demanding her to open the door but it was not happening. Everyday I would stop by and try to coax her out. It's now been 12 days sinces ive seen her and I spent all 12 days doing major damage control. First was the blog.
Makarov shut it down but I cornered the group of bloggers demanding them to fix this problem. Yukino was happy to write an apology blig to Lucy and I heard Minerva Orland was kicked of the blog club. Also suspended for three weeks. Yukino, sting, rogue who founded the blog wanted to extend a offer to Lucy to join there club having no clue Minerva posted it without approval from the founders of the club. I told them I'd tell her but I doubted Lucy would even come back to school.
Literature had online courses which Lucy did for year one as she was trying to set up her life running away from her dad. It would kill me if she never came back....what if she was done with fairytail.....what if she was done with me.
Next to deal with was our friends.
I called everyone to meet at my place and get it all off there chest, dad order pizza and drinks and sat in to back me up.
Levy bristles." I can't understand it."

Jellal nodded. " I met him too, we were at a venue he owned and when he saw us he said...low class trash has no place in one of his establishments...he agreed later when he saw the money we were racking in for his venue. After that we never came back. "
Erza sighed. " truth maybe Lucy has probably been dealing with said abuse all her life."

Igneel looked to Levy and lisanna who looked guilty. " girls?"
Gajeel touch Levy head. " its ok to feel hurt but she never meant to."

" I saw Lucy first at the age 12 when igneel took me to an event, she was like a dool, her eyes dead and soulless, she talked walked breathed but you could tell ....she was broken..."
Igneel nodded. " Layla her mother passed when she was 10. That woman was the only joy in hhat family trust me."
I nodded." When i saw her again in knew it was her and told her I knew but I swore I'd not tell. She told me how last e ent her father dragged her to her was discussing with business associates she not attend college and was going to hunt for a husband..."
Gajeel snarled." He was selling her off."
Levy gasped." At just 18"
I smiked at her. " her drwam of being a writer and going to fairytail was nearly taken away."
Levy sobbed." I'm such a bitch."
Lisanna rubbed Levy back. " so what's happen next."
I sighed looking at the ceiling. " her mother's sister is a history professor and archeologist at a university like ours but in Crocus. Lucy wanted to be here so her aunt Anne bought this apartment and went into more research than teaching. Actually writing papers and books on her findings with Lucy help. Lucy changed her name and stayed a year and a half in her apartment only coming out late a night to ship or go out so no one would find her. After thinking everything died down Lucy came to fairy tail as Lucy Celeste."
Cana whistled. " Wow, that's some dedication."
I smirked."yup but he found her, hiring a PI and that. He wants Lucy to attend one last function. A debutante ball on new years which I'm preparing her for through dance. In exchange she's my partner for the spring show case."
Levy sighed. " so she didn't lie just left out details."
Igneel chuckled. " friendships are not about knowing everything about your friend but being there for them and trusting them to fill you in if they need to. I think Lucy and natsu have tried to do that respectfully."
Damn I knew he was lumping in my sercert too. It's not like I didn't want my friends or even Lucy to know it was just a pet project that I never expected to get this big and now I was showing the world my talent without the igneel name.
I sighed." I understand Lucy...having a rich dad even a great one like igneel has challenges and expectations. It can get stressful. Wanting privacy or being your own person is not a crime."

I looked to my dad." Dad ypu seem to really know these people and I noticed you look like you're ready to kill every time someone mentions judes name.... is there something I should know?"
Igneel sighed grabbing my beer and gulping it down...it was so unlikely him. I sat on the couch across from his leather chair. Igneel looked into the fire.
" I was 19, in university when I met her.... " he sighed. " Anne heartfilia. She was older, almost graduating and I was already crazy about her. We met at a trivia night got stuck on her team...her little sister Anne was in my class as well as her boyfriend Jude who was just Conners than."
I was shocked he knew lucy parents.
" I broke away from my dad's wishes like Lucy was working my way through school but I loved Layla. She took a chance on me and well we loved eachother. " his gaze grew haunted." I asked her a year after meeting to marry me but the night we were to run off to the courthouse...well ."
I blinked." Well what?"Than it hit. My parents died and I was than adopted by igneel. " I ruined your life."
Igneel went to me grabbing me tight. " listen you knucklehead, you made me a better man. I worked hard and got better with you in my life. But I stood up Anne. I called her bug Jude would refuse to deliver my calls to her and I never heard back from her. I reached out so many times natsu but things...got in the way. The event you remember was when I made my first billion and we were celebrating. Lucy and her father was not supposed to be there after I discovered Jude had made sure through under handed means that me and Anne never saw eachother again."
I blinked in confusion. " why?"
Igneel sighed." Anne was the oldest heartfilia, I heard she rejected Jude and he went after Layla though I think he did love her I doubted it was fully pure. Anne is the heiress but Jude and Layla being married the heartfilia company and legacy went to him. I think because I was looking to start a business too though didn't from him he was fearful he be over looked. I wouldn't have wanted Anne money, she knew that which was why she loved me."
I smiled." Did you know Lucy invited her aunt to the Christmas party."
Igneel gulped looking pale." Wait natsu...no ...it's not a good idea."
I chuckled." Too late she invited and if you love Anne like I love Lucy...I know I'd kill to have a chance just to see her again ...even if she ripped out my heart." I realized why dad never dated. He never broke up really with the woman he loved.
Igneel sighed." I hope she doesn't throw a knife at me..."
I chuckled warily. " tomorrow Lucy might do the same...so I'm gonna dig into my savings front winning that compition last time and spoil her."
Igneel stood and failed in his phone." Let me help... hi ....Weiss....I need that favor... tomorrow.....yup and add the works chocolate, roses and champagne."
