<Spark POV>
I was rudely awoken from my sleep by the sunlight. I wanted to stay in bed, but I first checked the time, it was 6:49 am. I lousily got out of bed and padded over to the kitchen. I sighed remembering what everyone had agreed on: I still make food during collage days.
I took out some ingredients and started making food for everyone, luckily for me I wasn't supposed to make separate food for everyone. Instead we agreed on 1 food for today. This time it was tomato berry Spaghetti for lunch and homemade hamburgers for breakfast.
Not long after I started, I had already made the burgers for everyone, just in time too, as everyone's alarms echoed through the corridor waking them all up.
Soon a tired Grey and Sylvia left their rooms and came to the table. On it were the burgers I had made just minutes before.
"Bon appetite" I said. They weren't really that talkative if they woke up early, and it was early for their standards. I watched them for a moment before returning to finishing the spaghetti up.
It took me a while, but when I had finished it I could tell that it was worth it. Lunch would be an amazing experience for them today.
Eventually we gathered at the door. Emerald didn't really talk all too much, but the few times she did it was informative.
"Grey you're in the same class as that bully, Gramp, I thought you should know about it since. You know, you met him" she said
"Wait I do? Oh Arceus... wait... how do you even know that I met him?" He responded confused.
"Let's not fuss over such trivial matters" she said before setting off.
We quickly caught up with her and walked to the main building. We went around the store, which seemed to worry Grey, but we got to the main building without any issues.
"Anyway, we probably don't have the same courses so this is where we split up" I stated.
"Yeah, are you going to the cooking class?" Sylvia asked me.
"Nah, I'm in the theory course actually" I said.
"Really? That's extremely hard to believe with your cooking skills" stated Emerald.
"I mean, I do have some cooking classes, but it's not like I'm majoring in it" I answered.
"I suppose so" sighed Sylvia.
"Anyway, let's meet up at lunch, how about it?" I proposed.
"Sure" Said Emerald.
"Yeah, fine by me." Stated Grey.
"Same here, but let's cut it short, I wanna hangout with some of my friends too." Said Sylvia.
"Yeah, sure, let's have it for the first 5 minutes of the break, how about it?" I proposed.
Everyone nodded and so we all went to our classes.
<Grey's POV>
I entered my first class and noticed a possible problem, most seats were full. I carefully scanned the lecture hall for a good pick.
One of the remaining spots was beside a bully, I still don't know how Emerald knew that I shared a class with them, or how she even knew I met them, had she been following me? I shuddered at the thought.
On the other side of the room I noticed a seat beside a familiar looking Glaceon. She was drawing on her tablet again, it was definitely Rea.
I looked around a little more just to make sure that there were no problems with that spot, but it seemed that it was perhaps the best spot for me, maybe it was empty because no one could get past her cold walls. I went to the seat beside her and sat down beside her putting my laptop onto the table in front of me.
The Glaceon looked startled when I sat down at the desk. She seemed surprised that somemon had sat down beside her, that was until she saw who it was.
"Hi Rea, what are you drawing now?" I asked curiously.
She sighed before saying: "I'm drawing a Dexoy".
"Oh, cool! So you're kind of drawing the motto of our Collage?" I asked.
"Yes, can you not make ice type puns?" She answered.
"Oh was there one? Well I guess that it just sneaked past me then" I apologised.
As apologised a Pokemon, that I assumed was a professor, entered the lecture hall and asked: "Can I get your attention?".
The classroom fell silent moments later before the professor started talking again.
"You're all freshmon around here. I expect that you've all explored the collage grounds so I won't explain that. This first lesson is free, you could call it a study hour, but it's more like some time to get to know each other if you haven't yet. After lunch we will have a large gathering where our director will explain how this collage functions though, so keep that in mind" stated the professor.
After a moment of registering what he had said all the students started minding their own business again.
I turned to Rea who had returned to drawing before I took out my own drawing tablet and did the same.
<Spark POV>
My first lesson was PE, it wasn't exactly what I was hoping to start with, but was definitely good enough.
In front of the door to PE there was a note: "If you have a lesson then please do change beforehand".
I put my sport clothes on and entered the hall.
As I entered I noticed that there was a surprising amount of students around, around half of them seemed older then us, so I just assumed that it was a connected class.
I stood around for a moment before a older Golem appeared from the main entrance.
"Welcome dear students! I'm your PE professor " said the Golem with a smile.
All the mon fell silent and listened on.
"I've decided that for this introduction to your new school, I'll introduce you to your fellow 3ed graders" explained the Professor.
I understood the importance of introducing students to the ones that already knew the hacks, but doing it on PE seemed like a bad sign to me. I was proven correct moments later when the professor said: "How about we have a mock battle, everyone find a 3ed grader to spar with".
I sighed and looked around at the 3ed graders. I saw a Luxray, sawk, machoke, nothing that I could fight easily. My thoughts were of course interrupted, by a Gigalith to make things better.
"You're one if that Umbreon's fiends, aren't you? You should find out who's boss around here" said the Gigalith.
"Uhh, no thanks, also what do you mean with that Umbreon's friend, have you met him?" I asked annoyed.
"Yeah, he annoyed me yesterday, so I showed him who's boss" he Stated smugly.
"Well then no anyway, go find another opponent" I said turning around to look for a more fitting opponent then a literal rock type.
Unfortunately for me, he only seemed to get pissed off by what I said.
"Didn't you hear me?! You're my opponent!" Stated the Gigalith angrily.
At this point the whole hall was staring at us.
"But I don't want to" I stated unsure whether I would be able to talk him out of fighting me.
"Well that would be an interesting matchup! I'm okay with it. The first fight is between Gamp and the new student" stated this professor.
I pondered as to what to do as I walked to the battlefield. It was rather large, probably so that all kinds of mon could fight in it.
We both went to our sides of the field and got ready for the battle. I got in a halfhearted fighting position and got ready for Gamp's attack.
"Both sides are ready, let the battle begin!" Stated the professor.
I decided to concentrate on the battle. I looked towards the Gigalith just in time to dodge a stone edge, not cool.
I thanked Arceus that I at least wouldn't be questioned for not using electricity and used Quick attack to close the gap and hit the Gigalith while he was distracted.
I managed to get a good hit on him before he used his next move. I observed him carefully as his shell seemed to glow and harden. I assumed that he had used Iron defence, so I would have managed to hit him again without any danger if I had tried, a bit of a shame. I used Agility to make up for it, while also awakening my instincts at a base level.
Holding back, I used double kick and followed it up with another Quick attack.
I saw Gramp stumble back, but didn't use it to my advantage, instead I played it safe and got ready for his next move.
It never came through, and instead I noticed the air becoming strangely dusty. As it grew I realised that he had used Sandstorm, so I shouldn't use Quick attack again. Instead I opted for using swift while predicting his location, he wouldn't have moved if he thought he was safe.
I sent the attack forward and hear a yelp of surprise in response. I felt the ground shake violently for a moment, so assuming the worst I jumped away from where I was standing. Luckily it turned out to be a large rock, which hit where I had been standing moments before.
After dodging his attack I felt more of my Instincts kick in before I used Agility, and calculating how close he was I used Quick attack, taking minimal damage, while hitting a unsuspecting Giglith on the edge of his sandstorm. As I knocked him away I used Take down.
It hit him on the head before he could dodge knocking him even further back, damaging the ground he skid on in the process.
I was about to continue my onslaught, but I noticed that there seemed to be an unnatural amount of sharp rocks in his trail. I retreated out of the sandstorm where the Stealth rock wouldn't be.
I took slight damage but took little notice of it as the angry Gigalith charged at me, probably using Headbutt. I dodged it with a short quick attack just before he hit me and responded with a Double kick to his side knocking him over.
As he fell I started using tackle again, but as I watched him fall over with a painful thud I realised that my instincts had done enough already. I turned to the Professor, who turned out to have been watching the fight together with the entire class with hanging jaws.
"Are we supposed to keep fighting?" I asked knowing what the professor would probably say.
"H-huh? O-oh, right, that was a great battle Spark!" He responded waking up from his trance together this the entire class.
"Can't we just keep watching?" Asked a student from the back.
"No, I'm sure that Spark is tired from fighting his opponent who is... a typing he is weak to..." stated the professor awkwardly.
"Well then I'm going to the stands if you're okay with it professor" I said realising just how crazy the fight must have looked as a bruised Gramp left the arena ending the sandstorm.
"O-oh, yeah, you do that" said the Professor awkwardly.
'Pretty normal huh spark!?' I thought as I went to the stands to think of a plan not to stand out... Again...
<Sylvia POV>
I padded to my first class feeling positive, my mind was thinking of who to befriend, completely ignoring the fact that I would have to learn.
I entered my first classroom just to see that it was completely empty. I sighed out of disappointment and sat down at a random table close to the back as I waited.
A few minutes later the students where rushing into the class trying not to be late. I didn't understand why everyone was late until I overheard what some of the students were talking about.
"Damn, that Snorlax just had to fall over at the entrance of school didn't it?" Said one student.
"Yeah, you'd think that there would be another entrance to the building anyway, but turns out that there actually isn't!" Responded another student.
"Yeah! We were lucky that the director came out and let us enter through the staff entrance!" Said another student.
"True, although it was fun to see the confused expression of the director when he went outside" said the first student.
"Agreed" everyone agreed.
I sighed realising that I had missed a really funny situation and didn't get to see the staff entrance. I sat there alone for another minute before a familiar Leafeon entered the classroom.
"Hey Blossom!" I greeted her.
"Oh, hi Sylvia, how are you?" She responded.
"Oh, great, thanks!" I said before asking: "Do you know why that Snorlax fell asleep at the entrance?".
"Nah, sure was comedic though" she said.
I sighed sadly and stated: "then it's a shame that I wasn't there and came early".
"Well at least you didn't have to stress much. Do you know who the teacher will be?" She asked.
"Nah, apart for it being history I have no clue" I responded.
"Well then how are your "Dormmates" treating you?" Asked Blossom with a scary face.
"P-pretty well, our chef made us Spaghetti for lunch!" I responded slightly intimidated by her.
"Oh, then that's good, but if they do start acting bad..." She said scaring me even more.
"You really should stop doing that Blossom" said another voice.
I turned around to see Bay looking at Blossom with a disappointed face.
"Hey! I can do what I want!" Stated Blossom.
"Really? Because if you keep acting like that everyone will be scared of you" said Bay sighing.
"Hey! But boys are unpredictable! They'll probably try to peak!" Shouted Blossom.
"Are you really so sure about that?" Asked Bay.
"W-well..." answered Blossom, it was obvious what she thought.
We kept chatting for the whole lesson waiting for the professor, who had turned out to have forgotten about his introductory lesson.
And that's the end of the chapter! It was hard trying to figure the fighting system out, but I finished it in the end!
Basically they know all the moves that they have learned. To use hydro pump for instance you have to be taught by someone who knows the mechanics of the move, or be cunning enough to figure it out yourself.
Figuring out what move does what, for me, who hasn't really played any pokemon game, was surprisingly annoying.
Although it isn't the official version it will do the job. Are there any mistakes? Is there something that you can't really understand? Do inform me and I'll do my best to fix the fragment up!
