The punishments are meant to punish bad apples, not good apples. Not once good apples got punishment and with no reasons while bad apples didn't receive any. Sometimes... Bad apples give punishment to good apples.
The ark was silent today. It was a surprise because the twins would do something that would break the peace.
Prospector was glad. He could finally move supplies in order after medics, builders and others to find something scattered around on the floor of the storage.
With the help of Springer and Grapple it was easier to keep up with everything on the supplies that are missing or need to be found. He really doesn't want any inventory to be lost.
Unfortunately, Sideswap and Sunstreaker liked to hide supplies from him or pull pranks on the former decepticon. To add the fuel to the fire, Ultra Magnus doesn't trust him fully and blamed him for twins to cause chaos. Commanding at least one bot to watch him over even proving his loyalty to Autobots almost over a century.
He sighed. He was too tired to be mad over missing supplies. The rants and talks from Autobots were tiring but he was slowly being used at this. Dealing with chaotic twins was similar to dealing with Skywarp and Starscream to his honesty. Dealing with pranking twins in Ark is like dealing with two ego top seekers in Nemesis. He won't even tell the names as he was too tired with dealing other things than putting things in the right place.
Springer was moving the energon cubes and medical stuff to two different places but they were next to each other. The reason was for a medical operation needing energon. A lot sometimes.
Luckily it was the last of these things.
With Grapple, he was moving crates. It was crates that had electronics. Lucky not easy breakable. He laid down the crate and grunted. His arms felt weak and tired. But few last crates were left to finish the job that Prospector gave and was supervising that everything would go smoothly.
Prospector was typing over on a datapad and calculating while looking at the supplies. He was mumbling when he was calculating.
"1 crate has 50 energon cubes then 3 times 50 is 150. Then other crates that are left, or here, are like around 27. 27 times 50 is 1350. Today it consumed energon by the number of crew is... Uh... 30 if not include dinobots and minicons.. Dinobots take three times a day, minicons only once a day like us and even less..."
He quickly typed the calculation and the numbers.
30 used energon cubes - Transformers.
2 and half used cubes - Blaster's minicons
And.
18 used cubes - Dinobots.
Those dinobots are almost unbearable! Not only using more than the half cubes of 30 energon cubes that 30 autobots get, THEY'RE ONLY 6 OF THEM!
He clenched the datapad from the annoyance. The broken parts of the Ark and quarters are in horrible damage because of their rage. Lucky him that he isn't in charge of it or he would just blast the dinobots.
Then he reminded himself to calm down. He sighed before he calmed down. He looked at these two.
They were done. Everything was in place. It made Prospector happy a little. He huffed before he walked towards them.
These two were talking to each other not noticing him coming over them. It made them jump when he spoke.
"Thank you for helping me to sort out everything." Prospector thanked them.
Through the serious facade, there was some relief showing in his face plate. The two boys smiled at this.
"No problem, Prospector. We're here to help you to sort out." Grapple said.
"And it's our duty here in Ark too." Springer added.
The logistics nodded. He scanned around the quarter again. Everything was in place. He turned back to look at the two autobots.
"Then I'll do a report as everything is in place." He spoke. He was about to turn around before something reminded him.
"Do not let any bot, especially Sideswap and Sunstreaker, exclude the medics. If it's serious then let them in."
The two supply helpers nodded.
Prospector lightly nodded. He turned around and walked out of the storage quarter. He looked at the datapad. The edges were a bit crushed but it was no worry. He hopes that today nothing would anger him.
This week was horrible for him. Not only from the autobots deaths, raids, battles or even a surprise attack but DJD appeared in the battlefield and he is their target.
He let out a vent. The air vent was warm and he noticed it. He groaned. The situation from this week was overthinking him and overheating his frame that the vents slowly can't keep up. It only misses for someone to shut down or explode from overheating.
He dragged himself to his station to report and later took a break.
Nemesis, deck.
"So... that's the most powerful and fearsome beast that the cyclop created?" Overlord spoke.
He looked at the predacon, who was much bigger than him. The predacon growled as the optics were looking at him murderously. At this reaction, Overlord smiled before he looked at Dreadwing.
"Yes and Lord Megatron hoped that you'll teach it, so he could become better." The commander of the second division spoke before he left.
Overlord looked at the predacon again. The predacon was just staring at him and the low growls were barely heard. The two looked at each other for a few minutes before the decepticon grabbed a tile pipe.
"As for unfortunately for me... I can't use my precious weapons on you to train. I'll use this instead." He said.
The tailpipe was on the two servos. He lifted it and then laid on the servo like a teacher waiting for the answer from a pupil. He stopped doing this. He moved the end of the tailpipe towards the head of the beast. He slightly moved it up and down.
"Get up." Overlord said.
He met with refusal. From the smug face turned into a bored one.
"Get up, beast. I don't have ALL day." The decepticon said waiting for it to stand.
The answer was that it was still against listening to him. Overlord wasn't amused at this.
Somewhere a bit far, two seekers were watching the scenery. The dark one placed two small energon cubes before he sat down at the edge of a higher platform. He looked at the multicolored seeker. He pat an empty space next to him for the other seeker to sit down. He was met with questions.
"Why did you dragged me there?" Starscream questioned.
He didn't want to see Overlord even a bit. From far away or close, he doesn't want to see him regardless. He wants an answer from BloodyVoid why he dragged him there. The dark grey seeker mischievously smiled.
"To watch him how he fails miserably." The technician answered.
It didn't really answer him but he knew to not ask him further or he'll answer the same thing differently. He sat down next to the younger seeker. He looked down at the two figures. Something tugged his right arm. He looked at what he wanted but he was met with the small energon cube.
"Take it and watch the drama." BloodyVoid said before he shoved the cube in Starscream's arms.
The SiC caught the cube of energon. He looked at the technician with suspicion before he looked down.
Overlord was shouting at the predacon before it roared and shot flames towards the decepticon. The decepticon quickly moved away from the fire. Overlord yelled about something "You stupid beast!". It was loud but not clear enough.
Starscream shrieked when the flames appeared. BloodyVoid laughed at this.
The floor of the deck melted and a few bubbles appeared before it cooled. The dark metal, or now light colored metal, shone now. It was pretty and sparkling but Starscream stopped himself forcefully.
The roars started to fill the area and flames appeared to be more visible. The vehicons, who worked there, started to evacuate to not be melted. Starscream sipped from the small energon cube while BloodyVoid's cube was almost empty. It was funny to see Overlord struggling. He was about to hit the predacon before it grabbed his pede with sharp teeth. It throws across the deck to the door.
The technician stopped laughing. His decorations on the audials twitched. He tugged Starscream's arm again. The seeker looked at him confused.
"We need to hide." BloodyVoid said before his legs laid down on the floor as he backed away from the edge.
Starscream followed along. They laid down on the floor of the second platform and the wings laid flat. The doors from the deck opened and the very recognized voice echoed.
"Care to explain what's happening there?"
It was Megatron.
They could only hear the voice but it was better than risking being caught. They listened more.
"This BEAST won't even listen a bit, Megatron."
"That's why it needs to be trained, Overlord! It could be more powerful for our cause but also under my command."
The complaints and explanations filled the air.
"So... The predacon kicked his aft?" Frenzy asked.
Two seekers almost jumped out of their hidings. No one heard the minicon walk there. They quickly went back to their previous position.
"Yep and Megatron is here too." The technician answered.
"Why are you here, Frenzy? Aren't you supposed to be with Soundwave?" Starscream questioned the minicon.
"It was boring and Rumble is angry at me."
"After you splashed the whole pink paint on him, no wonder." BloodyVoid snickered before he went silent.
He quickly tugged down the minicon, placing his servo on his mouth to be silent.
It went for the whole 3 minutes before they could move or talk. BloodyVoid vented heavily.
"We should go away before lord Megatron will notice us." He said.
Starscream just nodded in agreement while Frenzy just groaned. The dark seeker picked the minicon up and walked away. The multicolored seeker walked away too but in a different direction.
Luckily they weren't caught.
Autobot base, Hallway.
[3 weeks later]
Smokescreen ran through the hallways. He was excited to meet the neutral, or autobot neutral for now. Unfortunately he was rarely on the ark as he preferred to be outside and find scraps. Oh Primus, almost everyone knows that the scraps aren't only scraps. Pieces of Cybertronians too. But it doesn't stop him from finding him and trying to talk to him.
Smokescreen was informed by Jazz that B-127 was finally here. He took the chance and he was trying to find him before he left again.
When he turned around the corner, he bumped into someone. He fell down on his aft and placed his one servo on his helmet. Smokescreen looked up and he sighed.
"Hi, Xive..." The scout greeted the taller mech in front of him.
A servo was offered to help. Smokescreen gladly took and he was quickly standing after the fall.
"Hello, Smoke'." Xive greeted back before he questioned the young mech. "Why are you speeding through the halls?"
"I'm trying to find the yellow neutral." The young mech answered.
He really wanted to meet him.
"Oh! Him?" The warrior said with a smile. It sparked a Smokescreen's optics with hope. "He is in the refuel station. You can find him there."
"Thanks, Xive!" The young scout answered before he sped to the refuel station.
Xive was helpful but the way he looks is scary. He looks like he is ready to kill, destroy everything on his sight. His yellowish optics didn't help a bit either. But when he talks to someone, it all disappears. He is like a huge sunshine and would change the personality. There are other bots too who are like that.
When he arrived, he immediately saw the bot. He was sitting on a table. He quickly walked to him and sat down next to him. He started to talk.
"Hi there! Are you B-127?? I'm Smokescreen. It's nice to meet you!"
Bee looked at him with confusion.
'This bot is definitely energetic..' He thought.
He put down the energon cube on the table.
"Yeah, I'm B-127." He said.
He didn't know what to talk about. Autobots said that there were few bots around his age. It was probably one of them. The bot named Smokescreen was getting more happy. Probably if he could, he would be jumping around the quarters.
"Can you explain what you do every time you leave for 2 cyber-weeks?" Smokescreen asked.
B-127 looked at him with suspicion but there was nothing malicious behind his optics. He just shrugged.
"Receiving, seeking, finding and giving the orders they wanted. Depends on the bounty too. If it's good, then I'll agree with this. Though after the last time... I disagreed to take half of the bounties I received to accept or not." He explained what he did.
He took out from his subspace a shinx coin and started to play with it. He let, not really decepticon, Swindle to take these half of those. He didn't want to deal with these and surprisingly Swindle gladly accepted. They're still in good terms surprising even if they're both in different sides of the war.
He saw the face of the autobot. It was amusing. A surprise face. He shrugged it off.
"Is it really hard to find some materials?" Smokescreen asked.
"Depends which ones. If you know where everything is, then it won't be a problem. Only when it'll run out." B-127 answered.
Smokescreen started to ask many things about being a dealer or just a bounty hunter. Depends on which side you look at. The neutral scout answered most of these.
The talk was stopped by the Second in Command autobot, Jazz.
"Hello, younglin'! I hope I don't break the mood but I need for Bee to report to me." Jazz said as he stood behind them.
Smokescreen groaned while the neutral huffed.
"Do I really need to do? Do you really need to hear what scraps I collected?" B-127 questioned.
Jazz quickly answered with this.
"Not only the surroundings and activity of the grounds you were."
The neutral scout rolled his optics. He stood up with a sigh. At this, Jazz nodded triumphaly. He started to walk out of the refuel station to his office. Behind him the neutral followed him close.
Smokescreen was alone again. He sighed at the realization.
Xive was surprised to see Smokescreen in the hallways. His face showed fear before he talked. He quickly disappeared from the sight when he answered where that half minibot was. He sighed. He didn't mean to look menacing but what could he do? He won't change his color optics as it was the last thing that he got from his carrier before the war broke and before he died. His sire is unknown as he left his carrier after 2 years of his birth.
He just walked through the corridors meaningless as he doesn't have to do. He joined the ark like a week ago. He added Prospector more work. He got to know the half Ark's team designations but the other half can't remember much.
Before he was forcefully dragged and joined the Ark, he was in Hospital as an engineer and a guard for a half floor. It was a cross-faction hospital for both sides. Unfortunately, it needed to end as the Decepticon leader doesn't approve of any cross-faction things.
Now when he was there without any destination, even if he was an engineer back, he was bored all-day. Jazz informed him that they'll probably destinate him in medbay. At least he would do something than just roaming around.
He walked into the cafeteria. It was next to the refuel station, or just connected to it. He was immediately dragged by one of the Autobots to a table.. It was Sideswap. On the table was Sunstreaker, Ironhead, Jazz, Chromia. It was loud.
"And now Imagine that if Megatron grabbed me that time, I would probably be ripped in half!" Jazz laughed at his near death experience.
Ironhead rolled his optics at this. "You need to be more careful. We can't lose SiC and the spy."
"Hello, Xive." Chromia noticed the new bot.
"Hello, new bot. How's your week around?" The specialist of weaponary noticed him too.
Two other Autobots noticed him too. Sideswap forced him to sit down next to them as he also sat down but next to his twin brother.
"I'm fine." He answered before he added that he was a bit embarrassed about it. "But the Autobots around are scared of me until I speak."
Ironhead laughed at this as he launched his servo on the table. Chromia chuckled at this while twins snickered.
"Don't worry about it, Xive. It also happened to Ironhead because of how big he is." Jazz put his servo on Xive's shoulder pad.
At this comment, Ironhead scoffed. Then he spoke.
"We'll get going as we have something to do by Optimus's command. There's a bot named B-127. He is new too."
Xive nodded. He went his way as these two higher-ups went to their way.
Decepticon warship, Nemesis. Hallways
Two vehicons were patrolling through the corridors. A very low whisper sounded around them. The tone of their artificial voice was cautious as if they were afraid that someone, or Soundwave, heard what they were talking about.
"Have you heard about the Vehicon that was found and joined back?" One of the two vehicons started to gossip about another thing.
The previous subject was about dark energon and Megatron. Now, it was about a Vehicon.
"What do you mean by that?" The second Vehicon questioned what the other said.
"Steve, the Vehicon looks like that one who went missing in one of the hallways that are marked as haunted!"
"Lower your voice, M37TRUT!" Steve, or 7T3V3 hissed.
M37TRUT flinched before she apologized.
"Sorry, sorry..." She looked at him again. "About that Vehicon, I don't remember the name as I was built after their disappearance. He looks different and acts more weird! Like his program just fried..." M37TRUT realized what the Vehicon was.
She went silent a bit thinking how Vehicon could possibly overdrive the unbreakable code in their program. She jumped slightly when the other Vehicon broke the silence.
"I don't know but he was always detached and silent. He always could do the commands that he received and he didn't comment. He wasn't interested in gossipis-"
"WHAT!?-" M37TRUT was quickly silenced by the smack from 7T3V3.
"Quiet you!" He whispered before he continued.
Heavy pedes echoed the hallway. It was from the left corridor. The sounds weren't familiar to them. Then it shows a Vehicon. From most normal Cybertronians, or other kinds who weren't drones, couldn't see the difference between them. Their differences were minimal or microscopic, or in characters.
It was that Vehicon. They just nodded at each other as a greeting. They went into other directions as it was planned in their day.
After a few minutes, M37TRUT spoke.
"So it was him?"
"Yes" 7T3V3 nodded.
"He looks boring and no fun."
Steve just shrugged. He was used to his presence.
"He is friendly in reality but on the negative side he doesn't like being in other presence from the perspectives of others and mine. He is full of secrets but for sure he knows any details of any gossip. He knows about lies and truth of these and from any words from someone. He can also hack into any computer." He spoke about that Vehicon about many things he could do before he continued and added a rumor. "He was also the one who showed us how to add more weapons to our processors without triggering protocols. Rumors say that he can hack to any computers that exist and probably even to processors."
M37TRUT chuckled at those. "He sounds more mysterious than Soundwave himself!"
7T3V3 sighed. "That's the last time I agreed to be with you in the patrols."
M37TRUT was shocked. She rapidly shook her head and started to apologize.
"Steve, please! I'm sorry. Pleaseeee."
After a few minutes, they patrolled other hallways, meeting other patrols too.
The snow heavily hit the frozen frame. The light green glow on the symbol glows through the darkness of this cold planet. Small shards of ice fell broke by the twitch of the digit.
