2 days passed, and they've escaped. They decided to stay on the move so they'd have less of a chance getting ambushed. Everyone was either resting, training, or discussing their next aproch to this situation. Arin, Loynce, and Harumi 3 were in a private room discussing their powers.
"So, we have the same exact power?" Arin asked.
"Not exactly. Yes, we three weild the power of creation, but it's not exactly the same. For example, Loynce can create immense light that only he can see through. Meanwhile, we can't do that nor see through it. Another example you said you could fuse right through those cuffs when you were trapped. Well, neither me nor Loynce can do that." Harumi 3 said.
"This is crazy!" Arin said.
"Then what can you do?" Loynce asked.
"I can make light shine on other people and/or objects," Harumi 3 said.
"Wait, sense we have the power of creation. Can't we make stuff?" Arin asked.
"With the right amount of training, yes. But in our case. We can only create and manipulate light. It's opposite to what your father can do. With enough training, he can control literal darkness. And without training he can control destruction." Harumi 3 said.
"This is too much to process." Arin put his hands on his head.
"Wait, so how is the Omega gonna use us to control the entire universe?" Loynce asked.
"I'm not 100% sure. But I think he's going to use the power of destruction to destroy the entire universe and use the power of creation to create his own image of the universe." She said.
"That's not good." Loynce looked at the floor and started thinking.
"So, we basically need to defeat the Omega without getting captured?" Arin asked.
"Yes." Harumi 3 said. "Now, I need to go and attend my Lloyd from his injuries.
With that she walked out of the room and headed to the med room.
Meanwhile...
On the deck, Lloyd and Harumi 1 were standing near the edge and were looking over the railing looking at the sky together. Lloyd 1 had his arm around Harumi 1, pulling her next to him. And, Harumi 1 had her head on his shoulder. The two were unaware that they were being watched by their fellow Ninja who were standing at the top deck at the steering wheel.
"Thank you for not sacrificing yourself." She said.
"Of course, my love." He looked at her.
They made eye contact and smiled. They didn't break eye contact. They slowly leaned in closer and closer till they eventually kissed.
"Aww." Nya 2 said.
Kai, Nya, Jay, Cole, Skylar, Vania, Zane, and Pixal 1 smiled as one or two tears slipped down their faces.
"After 15 years." Kai mummbled.
They stopped kissing and looked at each other.
"I missed you... so much..." Lloyd 1 said.
"I missed you too..." She smiled.
A tear slipped down Lloyd's face.
"I'm sorry for putting you through all that pain and suffering all these years. I tried to get back home to you and the kids, but I couldn't break free from his control and I'm just so, so, so, so sorry that I...-" He said with a shaky voice.
Harumi cut him off by shooshing him. She whipped the tear off his face and smiled.
"Sweetheart. It's ok, I forgive you. Just like you forgave me. What's important is that you tried, and we're together once again, dear. That's all that matters." She smiled, went on her tip toes, and kissed his cheek.
Lloyd smiled.
"What would I do without you..." He said.
They faced the railing and continued to look at the sky together. Sharing the moment. Kai 2 saw the entire scene. He sighed and went inside to look for Lloyd 2.
In the med room...
Harumi 3 was patching Lloyd 3 up.
"There, you're all patched up." She said.
He didn't respond. He just furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the ground with his arms crossed. She noticed this.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Rumi. Don't lie to me." He said in a serious tone.
He still didn't look at her. She imidietly knew what this was about.
"You dont need to know how I became a spirit." She said in a serious tone.
"Rumi. There is no way YOU DIED! You must've done SOMETHING to BECOME A SPIRT!-"
"I DIDN'T LIE I DIDN'T CHEAT MY WAY IN!"
"YES, you DID! TELL ME the TRUTH! NOW!"
"IM NOT LIEING!"
"RUMI! STOP THE LIEING! PLEASE! IM BEGGING YOU TO STOP!-"
"STOP ACTING INOCENT! BEFORE YOU DIED YOU HAD A LIEING STREEK TOO!"
"THAT'S IRELIVANT TO RIGHT NOW!-"
"NO IT ISN'T LLOYD!"
"JUST TELL ME HOW YOU BECAME A SPIRI-"
"I MADE A WISH TO A GENIE OK!!!"
Lloyd paused for a moment, thinking about the Nadakan story that Jay 1 told him.
"You did WHAT?!!!-" He yelled.
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS NEED TO YELL?!-"
"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS NEED TO PUT EVERYONE IN DANGER?!"
"YOU DO THE SAME THING LOYD!"
"THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT OK FOR YOU TO DO THE SAME!-"
"BUT IT'S OK FOR YOU TO DO IT?!"
"NO IT DOESN'T! IT'S NEVER OK! BUT I DONT WANT YOU RUINING YOUR LIFE FOR ME, RUMI!"
"I NEVER HAD A LIFE LLOYD! YOU ARE MY LIFE! AND YOU DIED! I DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING ELSE FOR ME IN NINJAGO! EVERYONE HATED ME! AND THEY STILL DO! YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT EVER BELIEVED IN ME! AND YOU'RE THE ONLY PERSON THAT IS STILL GIVING ME A CHANCE!-"
"JUST SHUTUP!" A tear slipped down his face.
"Lloyd, I wanted to die. I wanted to be with you. I didn't have a life before. I never did. Because you are my life Lloyd." She held his hand.
He didn't pull away. He just stood there looking at the ground and had his eyes shut and gritted his teeth.
"I didn't want this for you, Rumi. I didn't want you to end up in this miserable realm where everyone there just hates on each other. I didn't want that for you." He said in a shaky voice.
Rumi pulled his head up from facing the ground and whipped away his tears.
"I'm so sorry, Lloyd. But I couldn't live without you." She looked away from him, disappointed with herself.
He suddenly kissed her cheek. She was caught by suprise and looked at him.
"I love you, Rumi." He smiled.
She smiled back. "I love you too, Lloyd."
In the kitchen...
Sora, Wildfire, Euphragia, Geo, Lilly, Nixxie, Jake, Kane, Casey, and Zach were eating in the kitchen and talking.
"So, those older versions of the Ninja, are your parents?" Sora asked.
"Yep," Kane answered.
"Wait, so how come you guys don't exist here?" Euphragia asked.
"Different universes all work differently. In ours, the Overlord was the final boss. And my father stopped him by using his Oni form and saved all of Ninjago. After that, our parents were able to settle down and have families." Lilly informed them.
"Wait, so, you guys didn't have the merge?" Wildfire asked them.
Lilly looked at her. "Well, no -"
"What's a Merge?" Casey asked.
Lilly gave him a dirty look. He imidietly went closer to Kane to use him as protection in case if she jumped at him.
"The Merge is an event that merged all of the sixteen realms together into one huge land." Sora answered.
"Oh, wow." Nixxie said.
"Well, that didn't happen in our universe. But I'm assuming that that situation prevented the Ninja from starting their own families?" Zach said.
"Yeah, but I wonder what happened in the universe that those spirit versions of Lloyd and Harumi are from." Jake said.
They continued to eat in silence as they thought about all the possibilities.
