When he closed his cottage door, he saw Akane running out of her cottage, 'Guess she's going after the curry...whatever that is.' he thought to himself.

Techno sighed before running to Jabberwock Park, trying to be first to please Chat. As he ran, he saw Akane so he sped up and they were neck and neck, "You're not gonna beat me Techno! The curry's mine!" she exclaimed, Techno didn't reply as he was focused on beating her. When the both of them got there, he saw that he and Akane were the first ones there.
"Yahoo! I'm the first one here! The curry's all mine!" Akane cheered as everyone else arrived but Techno cleared his throat, "Uh, I think you mean... 'second one here'? I did get here first." The smile on Akane's face dropped and turned into a glare. "Nuh uh! I did!" she argued.
Techno: No, I got here first.
Sonia: C-Calm down! Both of you! But, I do wonder what kind of curry it is!
Hajime: You too...!
Ibuki: What's the scientific term for when you get hungry after you hear the word, "curry"!?
Fuyuhiko: You guys are fucking stupid... Don't get worked up over something so idiotic... Hey, where the hell is Monokuma!? Get out here!
Techno: Yelling for him won't bring him here any faster.
Fuyuhiko: What the hell you say, farm boy?!
Fuyuhiko was about to walk over to Techno, but before he could, a voice rang out, "Okie-dokie, thanks for waiting! Thanks for the miracle of waiting!" Everyone turns to where the voice came from to see Monokuma. Techno could see Fuyuhiko smirking at him in his peripheral vision, "Hey Monokuma! I was the first one here! That means I got dibs on the curry!" Akane exclaims.
"No need to rush," Monokuma says, "Though, I thought Techno was first...?" Akane looked so heartbroken when she heard his words that Techno kind of felt bad but Monokuma continued, "Whatever, I'll properly treat the both of you to my special-made Monokuma Curry tomorrow night."
Hajime: M-Monokuma Curry...?
Monokuma: It's an extremely delicious curry made from unknown meat, wilted vegetables, and a mysterious brand of rice!
Mahiru: I can't imagine anything delicious...based on those ingredients...
Ibuki: No worries! It takes skill to make curry nasty!
Gundham: That is truly a nice line...but it is meaningless. Now Monokuma...let us hear what your business is. However, you should know I, the Supreme Overlord, have very little time to spare, understand? If this is something foolish, know that I will feed your remains to these beasts!
Monokuma: Huh? Huh? You haven't noticed yet? The reason why I summoned you guys... If you look around closely at this park, you should be able to notice.
Hajime: Huh?
Everyone looks around before spotting a weird looking machine, "Ah! Isn't this an arcade machine?" Chiaki asks with interest, "Puhuhu...that's correct!" Monokuma laughs, "Soo! I would like the long-awaited Reaction Time to begin!"
"Don't tell me...you're going to tell us to play this game..." Hajime says in disinterest but not Chiaki, "Hey, what's the game? What games are on this?" "I've only prepared one game," Monokuma explains, "but...it's truly a gem. After all, it's a game that I personally created!"
Hajime: ...Huh? You did?
Sonia: Then...it is not something I could possibly look forward to playing.
Monokuma: No no, don't compare it to those amateur fanservice games... You know that famous game that everyone's been waiting for a sequel to? Well I made a brand-new game instead!
Hajime: F-Famous game?
Monokuma: Now then, I shall present it!
He then went behind the podium next to the arcade machine, "Tadaa! The name of the game is Twilight Syndrome Murder Case!" he presents as the screen next to him lights up with a title screen "Twilight Syndrome Murder Case| Investigation Edition". "What the heck!? That's pretty lame! I wanna play games about riddle-solving professors or collecting cute monsters." Hiyoko complained.
Monokuma: Stupid... Don't say such silly things! What if we get weighed down by all the quarters!?
Chiaki: Twilight Syndrome is an adventure game series... The first one released in 1996... It's about a group of high school girls who go exploring in order to verify numerous urban legends...
As Chiaki explains what Twilight Syndrome was, Techno's chat started muting the conversation with their voices,

'No chat, we can't leave. We have to know what the motive is.' he told the voices and went back to what the conversation was about, "I have no interest in weak things like video games! And...I don't even know what generation a game that old is!" Nekomaru exclaims.
Mahiru: With your face...I find that hard to believe.
Hiyoko: But adventure games are boring and tedious to play, right?
Monokuma: Don't diss adventure games... Besides, there's a lot of reasons to make one... You know...like budgetary reasons!
Chiaki: Man, and I was a big fan of the series. I don't know why, but I feel like you've totally tainted the series.
Monokuma: Shouldn't you be tainting your face with tears of gratitude? I've cast a spotlight on a neglected title!
Techno: What's the point of this "game"?
Monokuma: ...Hm?
Hajime: I mean Techno's right...it's not like you're telling us to play it just to enjoy it, right?
Monokuma laughs at Hajime's words, "You certainly noticed the good part. That's right, this game is gonna be your next motive! The motive you need to kill people! After all, I'm gonna get bored if the next blackened doesn't show up soon!"
"This game is the...motive...?" Chiaki asks. "In truth, this game's theme is a missing link. You know, it's a recurring theme for mysteries, right? It's kinda like a hidden connection." Monokuma explains, "Wh-What...does that mean?" Mikan stutters.
Monokuma: If you're interested...then try playing it!
Mikan: ...O-okay.
Mahiru stops Mikan from going close to the machine, "You can't! You gotta say no! It's a trap!" she exclaims, "Hey, if that's the motive, won't it be okay if we just don't play it?" Kazuichi asks, "Gahaha! That's absolutely right! You're quite the genius!" Nekomaru exclaims with a grin.
Monokuma: I see...that never occurred to me. ...But, are you sure you wanna do that? Learning the motive means you're gonna be prepared, you know. Humans who are prepared...and humans who aren't... I don't have to tell you which is strong and which is weak, right?
Techno: 'Did...did he just make a half baked Sun Tzu quote?'
Mahiru: ...Wh-What do you mean?
Monokuma: For example...if someone secretly played it, that person might come and kill you. In the context of preemptive strike...that's truly fatal!
Kazuichi: Wh-What do you mean!?
Monokuma: You guys are all enemies, you know? Is it really all right for your enemy to have an advantage? If you're going to just ignore it, then do whatever you like, even if you're fully aware of the situation. Bye byee!
Monokuma then disappears and Hajime exclaims, "Wh-What...the heck...!" "H-Hey...what should we do?" Kazuichi asks, "E-Even if you ask me...there's no way I'll know..." Mahiru states.
"Anyway, it would be dangerous to carelessly touch this game. There is no mistaking that." Peko states. "Y-You are right..." Sonia stutters, "It might be better if we wait and see how this plays out."
"But wouldn't it be bad if someone secretly played that game while we're waiting?" Hiyoko asks, "Whoever gets the motive would become the hunter and the rest of us would become the prey." "As much as I want to disagree... She's right." Techno says.
Hajime: Th-That's a messed up way to think about it...!
Fuyuhiko: ...But it's true. Heh...it's your loss if you end up dying. All we need to do is kill if we want to win. I don't want to end up like Byakuya or Teruteru.
Fuyuhiko then walks away from the others, "B-But...Fuyuhiko makes a good point..." Mikan stutters, "You too!? What're ya sayin'!? Do ya really wanna kill someone that badly!?" Akane asks angrily, "It's not like that... I mean, how can you be cautious if you don't even know the motive!?" Mikan explains.
Mahiru: That...that might be true, but...
Chiaki: ... It doesn't matter.
Hajime: Huh?
Chiaki: Motive or otherwise, it doesn't matter...I won't let another killing happen. I will never...ever...let another killing happen.
*Ding dong, bing bong*
Everyone turned to the monitor and saw Monokuma appear on the screen.
Monokuma: Ahem... Hope's Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make... It is now 10:00 p.m. Please return to your rooms and relax. Let the sound of the ocean gently rock you to sleep. Now then, sweet dreams everyone. Good night~.
The monitor then turned off and Nekomaru was the first to speak, "It's already that time, huh... It's better if we just break for today." "I'll try to think about it tonight more carefully... The correct thing for me to do... But regardless, I will never kill anyone. I mean, it's impossible." says Mahiru.
"M-Me too...it's definitely impossible..." Mikan stutters. "Then, we should turn in for the day. I'll see y'all tomorrow..." Kazuichi says before heading back to his cottage.
Everyone then heads to their respective cottages and falls asleep, everyone but Techno. While he was walking from Jabberwock Park, someone from Chat reminded him that he needed to see his reflection in a mirror.
Hey Techno? Why did you look shocked when you saw yourself in the water's reflection?

"Thank you for reminding me Chat. I need to double check if I actually look like I'm 17 instead of 21 or I'm just seeing it wrong." Techno states as he enters his cottage. When inside, he walks over to the mirror in his bathroom and sees that, indeed, he looked like he was 17 again.
"Heh!? I'm actually 17!?" Techno exclaims as he begins touching his face.
You didn't know?
"No!?" he states but then realizes what the chatter said and turns to them, "Why didn't you guys tell me I looked like this?"

Techno had enough of what was going on so he headed to his bed and fell asleep. The next day Techno woke up and decided to open up the hidden room in his cottage to see if he could use the brewing stand.
When he opened the bookshelf and went inside, he grabbed the lantern next to the door and headed down the stairs. He finally got to the bottom and flicked the lever, lighting up the room, before walking over to the brewing stand across the stairs.
He walks over to the chest and opens it up only to see nothing but potatoes, both raw and baked. Techno and Chat stared into the chest filled with potatoes, filled with disappointment. "I swear... Whoever made this chest thinks they're sooo funny." he grits his teeth while slamming the chest lid closed.

In another place, someone with dark blue hair sneezes.
???: Bless you.
Person w/ dark blue hair: Thanks.
???: Did you know? If you sneeze, it means someone is talking about you!
Person w/ dark blue hair: ...I wonder who's talking about me...?

With Techno, he went to the other chest and opened it to see some potions of different kinds, "I...actually thought there would be more potatoes in this one." Techno mutters as he picks up a swiftness potion.

Techno rolled his eyes before putting the potion back in the chest and decided to go back up and head over to the restaurant to get something to eat as he had been down there for a while. heading up the stairs, torch in hand. Once he opened the door of his cottage he walked out and saw Peko in front of his door.
Free time!
"Time to spar again?" he asked her, she nodded, "Same spot, don't be late..." she explains, Techno tilts his head and raises an eyebrow. "Let me get my sword and I'll meet you there." he tells her before closing his door to get his wooden sword.
When Techno got his sword, he started his journey to the beach where he knew Peko was waiting. Once he gets there, he waves to Peko who, once again, takes out her kendo sword and throws the bag to the side. They both get into position and this time Techno is the one who attacks first.
The both of them try to land a hit on the other person for a while but then Techno sees in the corner of his eyes, Fuyuhiko standing next to one of the palm trees. This is when Techno gets an idea, he suddenly turns his attention to Fuyuhiko and goes to land a hit on him when Peko blocks it.
"What are you doing?! This spar is between the two of us!" she exclaims, "Lesson 1, if there is a bystander near your fight, you have to be ready for when the enemy decides to use them to their advantage. As Sun Tzu once said, 'The opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.'" he explained with a smirk. He could see her grit her teeth and she started attacking again, he could feel her attacking with her full power.
Even though Peko was fighting him with full power, she had some openings that Techno could use but decided against it to let her tire herself out. When it looked like she was getting tired he saw one of the openings and quickly, but gently, hit the area with the blunt side of his sword, "You're dead."
Techno saw the shocked look of both Peko and Fuyuhiko and smirked, "The biggest mistake you made was fighting purely on your strength and not focusing on your guard. Next time when you fight to protect someone, focus on protecting yourself and the person, not just them." he explains. Peko nods and Fuyuhiko turns around to grab her bag, Techno saw her fist tighten around the handle of her sword as she looked at Fuyuhiko.
'Do they know each other? Maybe... He's an heir, right Chat?' Techno asks.
I think so?

I remember the others (or himself) saying that he was an heir.
'And an heir needs a bodyguard. So...is Peko that bodyguard?' Techno thought as he watched Fuyuhiko handing Peko her kendo bag, "Well, I should be going now. I'll see you guys soon, alright?" he says with a smile and a wave before walking away from the two.

He sighs at their words before heading over to the ranch to check on the cow. When he got there, he saw the cow was taking a nap near the shade and the bucket looked empty. So, he grabbed it and walked over to the hose to refill it.
After he refilled it, he walked over to the cow and gently placed it in front of the cow. When he turned around, he saw Gundham and the Four Dark Devas of Destruction walking over to him, "Ah, it seems that we have both thought of checking up on the dairy beast, how has she been fairing?" Gundham asks. "She seems to be doing fine, getting back to her full potential may take some time, but overall, she looks fine." Techno reports.
"I'm impressed, you seem to have great knowledge on these beasts, Guardian of the Land." Gundham says with an impressed look on his face. Techno shrugs before turning towards the cow, "We have been calling the cow, 'cow', for a while now...should we name it?" he asks Gundham. "How about... Aquarius Golden Bull: Diomilea!" Gundham exclaims, his eyes gleamed with excitement.
The word 'bull' isn't a word that Techno knows, which makes him look at Gundham in confusion, "What's a bull?" he asks. Gundham looks at him in shock, "How do you not know about the horned beasts, rumored to have the ability of taking down an army of warriors with iron armor!"
Techno shrugs, "Never heard of them, but they do sound pretty strong, coming from you..." he pauses, then smirks and continues, "Supreme Overlord of Ice." Gundham grins at his praise, "Of course they are strong, their horns are made from the bones of their enemies (they aren't, he is just exaggerating), which is what makes them so strong!"
After a while they head back to the hotel site and Techno heads to the restaurant since he hadn't eaten breakfast, he wasn't really hungry but he did want to keep his hunger bar full. Once he finished eating, the bell rang and the monitor turned on to show Monokuma.
*Ding dong, bing bong*

Techno left the restaurant and saw Hajime talking to Chiaki, he didn't want to talk to them yet, so he hid and waited for them to leave, once he heard footsteps again, he looked over to see Hajime exit the hotel site, 'He's planning to go play the motive...' he thought, "Not my problem.' he shrugs before walking to his cottage.
Once he entered his cottage he flopped onto his bed and fell asleep.
