What you should do to these little assholes:
I LOATHE these little bastards in my first playthrough and I still do now. I recommend using the BFG eviscerate them.
But in all seriousness the trite are going to be one of the most reoccurring enemy in the game and most of the time they aren't alone with most appearing in groups of 6 up to 10 and even more.
the mini gun is going to be your best friend when it comes to crowd control ESPECIALLY trite crowd control; they can't really tank that much firepower as they can go down by two shots from the pistol which explains why they mostly appeared in groups.
The trite can lunged themselve at the player to cause a bit of damage and that's sorta it.
Oh and they can swarm you, you probably already know this from the earlier description.
