The morning air at the ranch felt colder than usual. The sky was overcast, as if foreshadowing something significant about to happen. Prehistoric Zoo had grown rapidly, but the threat of Argon Corp still loomed over them.
Prabu stood before his team in the ranch's main hall, studying each of them carefully. This time, they were embarking on their biggest expedition yet-traveling back to the Jurassic period to bring back new dinosaur species.
In front of him stood Arya, Maya, Dr. Sinta, Dr. Kevin, Reno, Dika, and Bagas, the core members of the mission.
"We can't afford any mistakes," Prabu said firmly. "Argon Corp may already know part of our project. We have to move fast, work as a team, and return before they detect us."
Dika, the survival expert, nodded. "I've prepared all the necessary gear. This time, we're facing a far more dangerous environment than before."
Dr. Sinta added, "We must also be cautious of Jurassic predators, especially Velociraptors and Allosaurus."
Prabu took a deep breath. It was a high-risk mission, but it had to be done to save more species from extinction.
Mission to the Jurassic Begins
The team gathered around the Time Gate, now reinforced with new security measures thanks to Reno and Arya's upgrades. Prabu pressed the activation button, and a bright blue vortex swirled before them.
"One more step," Arya said.
One by one, they stepped into the Time Gate, and in an instant, they arrived in another world-the Jurassic period, approximately 150 million years ago.
They were immediately met with the sight of a dense rainforest, filled with the sounds of prehistoric creatures. The air was warm and humid, carrying the distinct scent of damp earth.
Dika took the lead. "Alright, we stay together. No one splits off."
They moved cautiously through the jungle, their eyes scanning for any movement in the foliage. Their mission was to find herbivore species that could be brought back to Prehistoric Zoo.
Encountering the Dinosaurs
After hours of trekking, they reached an open grassland.
Dr. Sinta raised her hand, signaling for the group to stop. "Look over there."
In the distance, they spotted a herd of Diplodocus, their massive necks reaching high into the trees to feed on the leaves.
"Incredible..." Maya whispered.
Prabu smiled. "These are our targets. We need to approach them carefully."
The team moved slowly toward the Diplodocus herd. Dr. Kevin prepared a specialized tranquilizer to sedate a young individual for transport.
But before they could act, a low growl echoed from the forest.
Arya immediately raised his rifle. "We're not alone."
Suddenly, from the underbrush, a pack of Velociraptors emerged, their sharp eyes locked onto the team.
"Back away slowly," Dika ordered.
But before they could react further, one of the raptors lunged at them with lightning speed!
Attack and Betrayal
Dika quickly fired a tranquilizer dart, striking one of the Velociraptors and sending it crashing to the ground. But the others continued their relentless attack.
They scrambled toward a rocky outcrop for cover. Reno frantically activated a sound diversion device to deter the raptors, but something even more shocking happened.
Suddenly, Bagas raised his pistol... and aimed it at Prabu!
Everyone froze in disbelief.
"What are you doing, Bagas?" Arya shouted.
Bagas smirked. "You were right... Argon Corp has been after this project all along."
Prabu clenched his fists. "So you're their spy?"
Bagas nodded. "From the very beginning. My real mission was to ensure this Time Gate technology falls into the right hands."
Maya glared at him. "You betrayed us all!"
Bagas chuckled. "I'm just doing my job."
Before he could pull the trigger, Dika kicked him to the ground, sending the gun flying from his grip.
"We don't have time for this," Prabu said. "We need to get out of here!"
They sprinted back toward the Time Gate, carrying the sedated young Diplodocus. The Velociraptors continued their pursuit, but thanks to Dika and Arya's covering fire, the team managed to escape.
As they reached the Time Gate, Prabu saw Bagas struggling to get up, but before he could react, the Velociraptors swarmed him.
Bagas screamed, but the team had no time to save him. He had chosen his fate.
Without hesitation, they leaped back through the portal, returning to the ranch.
Back at Prehistoric Zoo
As soon as they emerged, they shut down the Time Gate and secured the young Diplodocus they had brought back.
Mr. Bram approached them with a tense expression. "What happened? Where's Bagas?"
Prabu looked at his team with a serious gaze. "Bagas was a traitor. He was working for Argon Corp."
Silence filled the room.
Dr. Sinta exhaled. "So they really had a spy inside our team?"
Arya added, "And they won't stop now."
Dika turned to Prabu. "We need to prepare. This is just the beginning."
Prabu nodded. Prehistoric Zoo was no longer just about saving dinosaurs. It was about protecting technology that could change the world.
The threat of Argon Corp had never been more real. And they would be back... stronger than ever.
