! Slight spoilers! Like, small mentions of scenes that occurred in later chapters past the anime's current point. Nothing major, barely even major, just a small reference in Akane's part !
TERU MINAMOTO .

• He's surprised, to say the least.
• To be fair, this guy is a literal school prince. Getting this man a gift instead of him being the one getting a gift for YOU is crazy work.
• He's thankful for the most part, doing that cliche hand over the back of his neck movement with a subtle blush on his cheeks as he lightly thanks you. Inside though, he's dying. Both in a negative way, and a positive.
• For the first half, it's just him berating himself internally because Teru's under the belief that he should've been the one to get you something so romantic first.
He has a known reputation, the fact that his partner had to be the one to take lead of the relationship first is genuinely embarrassing, but he doesn't think any less of you for it— actually he thinks more.
• The second half is him getting slightly nervous over it. He's not crazy panicked or anything, but seeing as he's used to doing things for others rather than others doing things for him, he's certainly taken aback by your sweet gesture. Like, hellooo? His significant other just gave him FLOWERS. That's not something you see everyday when you're him.
• Assumedly, he'd tease, but only in a lighthearted manner. He goes easy on you with the picking because of the fact that he loves you and also because of the fact that you gave him something he'll treasure. (Akane, take notes)
• With the flowers, he tries to remember to water them everyday. Perhaps he'll set a reminder on his phone, or tuck it in a pot right next to his bedroom window. While he's the worst at cooking, he's pretty generic when it comes to gardening. Thankfully, all that he needs to do is sprinkle water over it, nothing else to add to the labor.
• While he clearly likes to experiment with random things, seeing as this is a cherished item from his beloved, Teru won't do a single thing to it besides admire its petals each day. When it wilts, he gets a little sulky, and he'll have to be forced to throw it out by Kou lest he wants the small odor to increase by a heck ton, but he's grateful to have even been given it regardless.
• Expect him to either give you an even grander bouquet of flowers or just treat you with more love and affection afterwards. Or both, depending on how much it affected him at the time you chose. Then again, anytime would be equally as important, so no need for calculating!
• There's also an unspoken rule of not touching the flowers that you gave him, unless it's you laying a hand. But.. let's not talk about that right now, we can talk about it... I want to say, never?
• In the end though, he's happy. Flowers are quite the sacred thing to Teru, especially when they come from you of all people.
"Oh my, for me? You shouldn't have."

AKANE AOI .

• He's in tears. Literally.
• Keep in mind this is the same guy that bawled when his crush dropped a singular vegetable. So, for his precious partner to give him flowers one day when he least expects it? Oh, well you're just trying to kill him, aren't you?
• The moment he realizes the flowers are for him and not some sort of invisible ghost behind him that he needs to take his glasses off to see, Akane is full on SOBBING. Maybe it's infront of you, maybe it's not, either way he gets emotional over it and blesses the entire world because lord almighty, he was just given flowers from his SIGNIFICANT OTHER!
• Are you an angel sent from heaven?
• Did he do something in his past life that led him to this special moment?
• It's too much for him to handle. He can hardly contain himself in normal situations where his partner is being too sweet with him, now he's getting flowers from them?
• Ugh, Teru is so going to get sick of hearing your name the next time him and Akane have Student Council together. He has a habit of rambling on about you while his upperclassman talks about his siblings, your name might aswell be Akane's entire dictionary at this point moving forward.
• While, yeah, he would've preferred to have given you something first— which I'm surprised he hasn't in this case, but for plot purposes we'll just say that he's been too busy— Akane doesn't complain when he's given floral lush by the one person he's long since been head over heels with the moment he laid his eyes on them.
• Suddenly, he's a professional florist when it comes to taking care of plants. The flowers are placed in a vase of your favorite color, he quite literally measured the amount of water to put in just so the flowers could live longer, and he gazes at them all the time when he's apart from you, or taking a break from studying after a long day of workloads and school.
• The moment it starts wilting it feels as though the world quite literally crashed down on him. Then he's miserable, oh-so utterly miserable.
• Until you buy him a new pair— and just like that, he's grinning ear to ear.
• Expect his love for you to multiply by millions as a response to your bravery of gifting him something before he could offer you something beforehand.
• Whichever flower you gave him is officially his favorite now, no doubt about it.
"For... ME!?"

AOI AKANE .

• She's flattered! <3 and a little flustered.
• Out of the three, Aoi is definitely not as bothered with getting flowers as the other two are. She's used to getting things all the time, but that doesn't mean that you giving her something isn't anything special, actually it makes her heart skip a beat just by seeing you hand them to her all happily!
• When you first give them to her, she just takes it and smiles at you with appreciation. The bouquet certainly looks delightful in her grasp, and she always holds it carefully like she's fearful of dropping it.
• Behind closed doors though? She doesn't say a single thing, Aoi simply leans closer to the flora and flushes adorably when she recalls the way you looked while offering them.
Her expression is a mix of embarrassment and gratitude, but there's not any hint of disgust or negativity on her face when she's convinced that no one is watching, perhaps just a tiny smile, or a small unnoticeable shift of the buds nearing closer to her nose to smell them.
• That's just between you and me though. The moment Aoi's back with the spotlight shining on her again, there's not even a single hint of blush on her cheeks.
• When it comes to taking care of them, Aoi is no doubt the best at the job out of the three. She regularly waters flowers in her homeroom, and she's apart of the gardening club— it's clear that she has the most experience, and awareness as to how to treat a flower with utmost care.
• If she's had a long day, she won't ever tell anyone about it, nor will she even think about throwing her frustrations onto an item of hers. Instead, Aoi goes to the flowers you gave her, and tends to them for a little bit until she feels better. Nothing more to it, nothing less.
• Giving flowers back isn't ideal for her, but that doesn't mean that Aoi won't gift you anything in return. Though, it's likely that she'll settle with something more her, something that screams it's from Aoi without even needing to place a tag over it.
• It's nothing as outstanding as pretty flowers though, rather a cute bracelet or some sort of silly item that she sculpted in art class. She's reluctant to hand it to you at first, but always ends up feeling satisfied when she sees you bringing it along with you the next day and the school year moving forward.
• When the flowers die, Aoi isn't as depressed as the other two— no, she just lets it go. Sure, she'll be disappointed, but she's more used to outcomes like these compared to the two boys who focus on other things rather than taking care of plants in their freetime.
• Still, Aoi is grateful, a small part of her hopes that you'll gift her flowers again soon.
• She's waiting, as patient as a girl can be when she has a partner caring enough to give her presents so pretty.
